VIOLENCE IN “HOLY QUR’AN”.

Who Deliberately Ignores public, published, calls to murder, in any IDEOLOGY, for example in a Superstitious Religion, become accomplices to any mayhem that Ideology inflicts.

Islam, fundamental, literal and unreconstructed (Wahhabism, or Shia as in Iran’s Islamist “Republic”) is inherently terroristic. (That some Judeo-Christian sects, like the Catholic Inquisition, were also terroristic is not besides the point: instead it proves it; Islam was indeed derived from Judeo-Christianism; they are all religion of Abraham, a psychopath ready to stab his innocent son, to satisfy his boss, an intrinsically and symbolically terroristic act of the basest order… It’s easy to see why oligarchs love Abraham: He ennobled the vilest act of ultimate violence just to please “The Boss” or “The Man“.)

Saladin, first Sultan of Egypt and Syria, founder of the Ayyubid dynasty, arrived at the conclusion that Fundamentalist Islam was incompatible with civilization, in the Twelfth Century. So Saladin outlawed it: Saladin had a war to win with the Crusaders, and he could not win it if he defended homicidal savagery.

The Ayyubid and Egyptian legal system then punished with the death penalty those advocating Literal Islam. Objecting that the Bible, the original inspiration of the Qur’an, makes the same advocacy of violence, is neither here, nor there, as no government in the last two millennia advocated governance according to the Bible (not even Roman emperor Theodosius’ terroristic Catholic regime in the 380s… which used the Evangels to terrorize the Roman People…)

Wahhab, an Islam fundamentalist, appeared in Arabia, five centuries later. Muhammad bin Saud, of the Saudi family, made him an offer Wahhab couldn’t refuse. Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab replied:

You are the settlement’s chief and wise man. I want you to grant me an oath that you will perform jihad against the unbelievers. In return you will be imam, leader of the Muslim community and I will be leader in religious matters.

The Saudis needed reasons to kill their enemies, Wahhab provided them. Ibn Abd al-Wahhab described followers of both the Christian and Jewish faiths as sorcerers who believed in devil worship, and cited a hadith of Muhammad stating that punishment for the sorcerer is `that he be struck with the sword.`Wahhab asserted that both religions had improperly made the graves of their prophet into places of worship and warned Muslims not to imitate this practice. Wahhab concluded that ‘The ways of the people of the book are condemned as those of polytheists.’

So let’s consider Literal, Fundamental Islam, promoted by many deliberately ignorant individuals as a “religion of peace” (and that is exactly how the violent propagandists of Islam want it to be described). Literal Islam background is uncomfortably similar to the Literal “Old Testament” of the Bible. Moreover the basic texts of Literal Islam include direct orders to hurt whom modern secular, United Nations Law as innocent citizens on the basis of subjective criterions such as the opinion one has of someone’s else religion or lack thereof.or protected categories. Here we focus on the Qur’an (Hadith are worse).

In truth, Fundamental Islam was, and is, a religion of war, an excuse to kill most types of people, from “gays” to “apostates”, to “hypocrites”, to all sorts of “unbelievers”, and that’s why it enabled those who invented it, 13 centuries ago, to conquer the largest empire, ever, in a few years. A remarkable military achievement by 40,000 fanatical, and lucky, warriors who submitted dozens of millions in the Mediterranean and Persia. Islam is fundamentally the ultimate war ideology: killing for God enables one to wait for Judgement Day in the most pleasant circumstances:

Quran, chapter 3 (Al Imran), verse 169–170:^[7]

“Think not of those who are slain in Allah‘s way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; They rejoice in the bounty provided by Allah. And with regard to those left behind, who have not yet joined them (in their bliss), the (Martyrs) glory in the fact that on them is no fear, nor have they (cause to) grieve.”

I quote below some significant verses of violence in the most basic text of Islam, the Qur’an, which is, allegedly, the word of the so-called “God”, a creature controlling the universe.

(There is significantly worse violence in the Hadith, books complementing the Qur’an, containing various reports by contemporary witnesses, or witnesses of witnesses, of what Muhammad supposedly said.).

All together, those verses extracted from the Qur’an,  often often call for the most debasing, vicious, cruel or lethal violence, against most categories of people: “hypocrites”, “homosexuals”, “apostates”, “unbelievers”, “pagans”, women, and, of course, those who “insult” Islam, or its long dead celebrities. The possibility of killing people by accusing them to have deviated from the correct religion, and “heresy”, was inaugurated on an industrial scale by Roman Emperor Theodosius 1, in 380 CE, and propagated to Islam 280 years later (when Caliph Ali started to burn miscreants). This is why “Orthodox Catholicism” of the Fourth Century and Islam of the Seventh Century, seduce tyrants ever since.nts ever since.

Many, if not most, “Muslims” have not read the Qur’an thoroughly: reading the Qur’an is not a requirement to embrace the faith. Let alone have they read the Qur’an so well that they contemplated what the Qur’an, read literally, really means in practice (easy lives for the bloodiest tyrants).

It’s not that easy to read the real Qur’an: versions of the “Qur’an” are circulated, where all the nasty stuff has been removed (such versions are often called “The Glorious Qur’an“). That propaganda works very well to convert those who are naive and unaware to Islam.

This situation of deep misinformation is encouraged by the command, which is explicitly found within the Qur’an, to LIE to non-Islamists. Thus a simple trick has been devised: a so-called “Glorious Qur’an” is shown to non-Islamists. Once the non-Islamists have been conned into viewing Islam to be nice and once they have embraced it as something civilized, the violence can be progressively revealed, and presented as a sane reaction to abuse. If they don’t get it, they can be told that renouncing Islam, apostasy, is punished by death.

Another factor of violence in Fundamental Islam is that the ideology is not just a superstitious religion, but an ideology of law and governance (which Christianism never was, except in the small Vatican state… hence the murderous torture of astronomer Giordano Bruno). “Sharia”, Islamist Law, differ appreciably from human ethology, and imposes the views of a so-called “god” on gender, equality, sexuality, and tolerance to belief and inquiry.

Indeed, the situation is not symmetric with Western Civilization, Christianism and the Bible… from which the Qur’an arose (with much desert added!) Indeed, in the Greco-Roman empire, and the Latin West which succeeded it, secular law was never subjugated to a superstitious religion; in particular, secular Roman law, 25 centuries old, and Salic law, legal foundations of the West, never had anything to do with the Bible. Whereas Islam, a superstitious religion, a variant of Judeo-Christianism, pretends to be all the law one needs! Time to Read the Qur’an, People, So You Learn What All Too Many Pontificate About Disingenuously. The Qur’an is an Important Book, full of preached violence, which most have not read while falsely claiming that they know it is all about peace. (This disinformation campaign, that Islam is good for you, and good for them, is part of a greater manipulation by oil men and their allies, which originated in Washington and New York, as early as the 1930s, and which was formalized in 1945, not be be addressed in the present essay… which was mostly written by “god”, because now here we quote:)

As I explained in my analysis of the Qur’an’s Sura 4, verse 59, Khamenei was theologically correct. Khamenei is viewed by most Shiites as the functional equivalent of a Pope. Later Iranians were heard calling for the death of the “dictator”, Khamenei. Savage repression ensued, and now calm reigns.

The naive ones may be baffled by the violent behavior of the theocrats in Iran. Is not Islam all about peace, as Islamists always insist? Apparently it’s eternal peace, in the sense of Neda Agha-Soltan, a woman deliberately shot in the chest, one the many bystanders shot to death by the forces of theocracy. The idea? Kill the obviously innocent, and the slightly rebellious shall tremble.

Will Violence Set Below The Horizon With Islamism, As It Did With Christianism?

The most sacred text of Islam, its very foundation, is the Qur’an, the exact word of God Himself, transmitted by His Messenger, Muhammad. We want to have an opinion about Islam? Let’s get to know the Holly Qur’an better! The Qur’an is in 114 chapters (“suras”) each made of “verses”. The first numbers below refer to the sura, the second numbers refer to the verse inside that particular sura. The length of suras diminishes dramatically as one proceeds further down the Qur’an (that’s why there are fewer quotes from higher sura numbers down below).

The Qur’an has around 80,000 words, so roughly a tenth of the Qur’an is found below. In a preceding work, I selected all the quotes in the Qur’an pertaining to women. (The Qur’an’s attitude to women is itself violent, abusive, exploitative, demeaning, and idiotic; however the argument can be made that it represented a progress, relative to what was practiced before in Arabia.)

This time, I tried to select quotes exhibiting Allah’s no non-sense, robust character. The Qur’an is mostly a list of orders from God (“Allah”), the exact same God as in the Bible, claims Muhammad, the Messenger, PBUH. (After they mention The Messenger, adoring Muslims like to add “PBUH”, the abbreviation for Peace Be Upon Him; the reason for this desperate, obsessive longing for peace will become obvious after reading the 7,200 words below.)

As God Himself points out in the Qur’an, you are presumptuous if you think you can judge God, or ask Him for His motives. Just believe what God tells you:

Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear, and tooth for tooth. 5:45

Christians will be burned in the Fire. 5:72

Christians are wrong about the Trinity. For that they will have a painful doom. 5:73

Muslims that make friends with disbelievers will face a doom prepared for them by Allah. 5:80

Believers must fight for Allah. They must kill and be killed , and are bound to do so by the Torah, Gospel, and Qur’an. But Allah will reward them for it. 9:111

Don’t pray for idolaters (not even for your family) after it is clear they are people of hell-fire. 9:113

Fight disbelievers who are near you, and let them see the harshness in you. 9:123

Disbelievers will have a boiling drink and a painful doom. 10:4

(If you enjoy life and ignore Muhammad’s bullshit, Allah will torture you forever in the Fire after you die.) 10:7-8

Allah has destroyed entire generations. 10:13

“Ignominy overtaketh them – They have no protector from Allah – as if their faces had been covered with a cloak of darkest night. Such are rightful owners of the Fire.” 10:27

On the last day Allah will kill all the disbelievers (and then he will torture them forever in hell). 10:45

The damned will feel remorse for what they have done, but it will not save them from the doom that Allah has prepared. 10:54

Those who are in hell will be forced to drink festering water which they can hardly swallow. They will want to die, but they will not be able to. Theirs is a harsh doom. 14:16-17

There is no escape from Allah’s doom. 14:21

“Lo! for wrong-doers is a painful doom.” 14:22

Allah leads wrong-doers astray and then sends them to hell. 14:27-29

“They set up rivals to Allah that they may mislead (men) from His way. Say: Enjoy life (while ye may) for lo! your journey’s end will be the Fire.” 14:30

“Warn mankind of a day when the doom will come upon them.” 14:44

Those in hell will be chained together. Their clothing will be made of pitch and fire will cover their faces. 14:49-50

Iblis will lead humans astray. Only perfect Muslims will be safe from him. The rest will go to hell. 15:39-43

[A little background here: Iblis, created from fire, was furious against Allah, when Allah decided that man, created from clay, was its equal; Allah bestowed on Iblis the title of “Shaitan” (“Rebel”) and in order to test mankind and jinn alike, God allowed Iblis to roam the earth to attempt to convert others away from Allah’s path.]

Allah’s doom is a dolorous doom. 15:50

Allah made a roof fall in to kill unbelievers. “And the doom came on them whence they knew not.” 16:26

Disbelievers are evil and will dwell in hell forever. 16:27-29

Allah “will cause the earth to swallow” those who plan ill-deeds. The doom will come on them when they least expect it. 16:45

Theirs will be the Fire, and they will be abandoned.” 16:62

“Theirs will be a painful doom.” 16:63

“The Hour of Doom is but a twinkling of the eye.” 16:77

“When those who did wrong behold the doom, it will not be made light for them.” 16:85

Allah will add doom to doom for those who disbelieve. 16:88

Those who oppose Islam will face an awful doom. 16:94

Those who loose their faith in Islam will face an awful doom. Allah’s wrath is upon them. 16:106

Those who invent lies against Allah will have a painful doom. 16:116-7

Thus does Allah send astray the disbelievers (in his guidance). 40:74

When they see Allah’s doom they will believe in Allah. But their faith will not save them. The disbelievers will be ruined. 40:84-85

Allah will make life miserable for those who deny his revelations and then he will torment them forever in the Hereafter. And they will not be helped. 41:15-16

“The doom of humiliation overtook them because of what they used to earn.” 41:17

Those who disbelieve in Allah’s revelations will have an awful doom of wrath. 45:11

“Your habitation is the Fire, and there is none to help you.” 45:34

Disbelievers will be rewarded with the ignominious doom of the Fire. 46:20

Serve only Allah or face the doom of a tremendous day. 46:21

Allah has prepared a flame for the disbelievers. 48:13

If you refuse to fight for Allah, he will punish you with a painful doom. 48:16

“Whoso turneth back, him will He punish with a painful doom.” 48:17

But if you’re willing to fight for Allah, he will provide you with lots of booty. 48:19-20

Allah sent a storm of stones on Lot’s folk, killing all but Lot’s family. 54:34

The suffering in hell will be more wretched and bitter than anything experienced on earth. 54:46-48

Allah cast fear into the hearts of the disbelieving People of the Scripture. Their home in the Hereafter will be the Fire. 59:2-3

The disbelievers fear the believers more than Allah. 59:13

The devil and disbelievers will be in the Fire. 59:16-17

Allah loves those who fight for him. 61:4

“O ye who believe! Shall I show you a commerce that will save you from a painful doom?” 61:10

Those who disbelieve will have a painful doom. 64:5

Those who disbelieve are the owners of the Fire. 64:10

The fuel of the Fire is men and stones. 66:6

Be stern with disbelievers. They are going to Hell anyway. 66:9

Allah has prepared for the devils a doom of flame. 67:5

Who will protect the disbelievers from a painful doom? (Nobody) 67:28

“Lo! the doom of their Lord is that before which none can feel secure” (except for maybe those who are fearful of it). 70:27-28

Disbelievers will enter hell with frantic with fear, knowing they will be tortured forever by Allah. 70:36, 44

Allah sent Noah to warn people about the painful doom he was planning to send. (It didn’t work out well; Allah sent it anyway.) 71:1

Those that Allah drowned in Noah’s flood were then tortured forever in the Fire. 71:25

Allah will grab those who deny His guidance by the forelock and call the guards of hell. 96:13-18

Those who disbelieve will abide in the fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings. 98:6

What is the Calamity? It is a day when dead people’s bodies will be scattered like moths, consumed in a raging fire. 101:1-11

Allah will show humans hellfire and then he will ask them about pleasure. 102:5-7

Some rich folks will be flung into the Consuming One, the fire of Allah. 104:4-6

Abu Lahab will die and be plunged in flaming Fire. His wife will have on her neck a halter of palm fiber. 111:1-

This was the Qur’an, the most basic, sacred text of Islam, because it is the word of God Himself. Who is this “god”, and do we want to trust him with nuclear bombs? (Reminder: the author supports pacific nuclear energy, even in Iran, and I have explained why this is no contradiction, but complementary.)

There are many other basic texts in Islam, such as the Hadith (gossip about what Muhammad, and other sacred ones, were heard saying, supposedly) and the Sunna (gossip on how Muhammad lived). They are more of the same. Example:

Narrated Al-Mughira: I heard the Prophet Muhammad saying, “Ascribing false things to me is not like ascribing false things to anyone else. Whosoever tells a lie against me intentionally then surely let him occupy his seat in Hell-Fire.” … (Sahih al-Bukhari 2.378, cf. 1.106-108).

The humorist and interviewer Steven Colbert asked the singer formerly known as “Cat Stevens” why he became a Muslim. Cat Stevens (born Steven Demetre Georgiou) now calls himself “Yusuf Islam”. Yusuf answered that what impresses him the most in Islam is that Muslims say “Salam” to each other, and “Salam” means “peace”. Thus, said “Yusuf” when you are around Muslims all you hear all day long is “Peace”, “Peace”, “Peace”. But why to obsess about peace? Is it compromised? How come one has to call for it constantly? Some object that the same sort of mayhem is prescribed in the Bible. Of course: the Quran, and Islam, originate with the Bible. So one cannot say that the Quran is good because the Bible is bad… as many do. Instead, the Quran is bad because the Bible is bad. Here are some quotes from the Old Testament of the Bible:

“This is what the Lord Almighty says… ‘Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’” 1 Samuel 15:3

Apologists of Judeo-Christo-Islamism call that Abrahamist religion a “civilization”… When actually it’s just a superstition grafted on deeper civilizations. Another line of apology is to pretend that vile and violent quotes are taken out of context. Naturally, all and any text can be distorted by being quoted out of context. However here, “God” is talking, His word is supposed to absolute. If God could be taken out of context, should not he have corrected this, and warned against out-of-context interpretations? Sometimes He does, kind of, but not much. So this is a partisan objection.

Abrahamist religions owe their success to their violence: they constitute metaphysics for genocidal  and tyrannical policies. And that’s symbolized by the ultimate “believer” of Abrahamism, Abraham, agreed that it was more important to obey his insanely criminal boss, God, also known as Allah, and kill his own innocent child. How much more evil a religion could one create?… Short of enacting human sacrifices?

And if human sacrifices are good, or something one should be ready to engage in, to please the boss, if He orders it, should not thermonuclear war be a good thing too?
