What Ails FIFA?

December 21, 2015

FIFA, the world’s football association, a corporation, has come into the crosshairs of the American Justice system. I inquire. My way, all the way down the Dark Pools of the New World Order.

By the word “Football” I follow international usage: “Football” was created in Britain in the Nineteenth Century, it involves striking a ball with a foot.

American “Football” is more prone to involve running with a ball one cradles, throws around and grabs with one’s hands, until one crashes into someone, head first. Its main interest may be concussion, as it promotes the idea that the more one bashes one’s brain, the better, and most successful, one deserves to be.

FIFA stands for:  Fédération Internationale de Football Association. The French name is already difficult for true Anglo-Saxon plutocrats, as it implies something not fully under their command. Hey, who would want such a good thing to come to an end? Command and order are everything. In the USA, those who have it all, and are in command, have achieved a level of relative income as high, or higher than in any of history’s most arrogant plutocracies:

The Rich In The USA Are Not Just Wealthier, They Are In An Other World. They Want That World To Become Yours, The Local Judge Will See To It

The Rich In The USA Are Not Just Wealthier, They Are In An Other World. They Want That World To Become Yours, The Local Judge Will See To It

What ails FIFA?

Money.

There are 600 million practitioners of Football in the world, making it, by far, the world’s most popular sport (Football is known as “soccer” only in the USA.)

Thus private television companies have been keen to purchase the rights for the Football World Cups. And they have been ready to spend whatever it takes, so enormous the profits from advertising to come.

The countries which have been able to muster large amounts of money to serve the World Cups monopolize these events. It takes a lot of investment in infrastructure for being able to organize a World Cup (several events with around 100,000 spectators each are held at the same time).

However there is a laudable desire to rotate World Cups among the 209 nations members of FIFA.

In the next rounds of World Cups, the USA and Great Britain were candidates. Both countries routinely organize Olympic games, and like money they spend and command to come around back to where they feel it belongs. Many of the TV companies which spend so much money on Football World Cups are giant Anglo-Saxon monopolies (or subsidiaries thereof), leveraged to giant, Anglo-Saxon dominated banks. (In other words, the usual puppeteers are pulling the strings.)

However, World Cups soon to come, were attributed to Russia and Qatar, infuriating those who view themselves as the true and righteous owners of the world.

So the British and American master puppeteers mobilized the means they usually order around, their intelligence services, James Bonds, international and national police, the NSA, CIA, FBI, “Five Eyes”, and the “Justice” systems, to remind the FIFA who was the boss. The uppity servants at the FIFA, including the usual French and Swiss suspects, were rolled out under a cloud of suspicion. Anglo-Saxon plutocracy is good at treating the innocent as if they were culprit.

This is why Russia’s Putin considers the head of FIFA to be a hero.

Naturally, genuine progressives, democrats and republicans want FIFA to be clear of corruption. However, American Football, the one played by crashing into other people’s brains deliberately, is much more corrupt than the sport which FIFA administers, while not under investigation by the authorities of the USA. In spite of the giant amounts of money circulating in all sorts of ways, and the medical and moral hazard it represents.

After all concussion is a huge problem in American Football, much more than in FIFA’s football (although it exists there too). And the quantities of money spent, and the way they seem to corrupt what should be the main function of education in so-called “universities” are alarming.

In general, the circulation of giant quantities of money in so-called “Dark Pools” and “Shadow Banking”, related to tax havens (most of which are in the Anglo-Saxon sphere of influence) is the essence of corruption nowadays, and the leaders of FIFA are very small players in that game. Focusing on FIFA is a way to divert attention, and make everybody believe, once again, that the center of the plutocratic empire is white as snow.

So one may say that FIFA is suffering not just from too much money circulating around. It also suffers from easily falling under American anti-corruption laws targeting non-Americans. And from having forgotten that the world’s most popular game should respect the wishes of the authorities and powers that be. One can play the game, as long as one follows the rules written in the USA. FIFA, by the standards of the USA, is a small corporation which forgot that it is there to serve much larger American corporations and interests.

Journalists linked FIFA leadership with corruption, bribery, and alleged vote-rigging pursuant to the election of FIFA President Sepp Blatter and the organization’s decision to award the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar, respectively. These allegations led to the indictments of nine high-ranking FIFA officials and five corporate executives by the U.S. Department of Justice on charges including racketeering, wire fraud, and money laundering. On 27 May 2015 several of these officials were arrested by obedient Swiss authorities, who launched a criminal investigation into how FIFA awarded the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. Those among these officials who were also indicted in the U.S. are expected to be extradited to face charges there. Switzerland is a country with no more population than the San Francisco Bay Area (8 million). The difference is that just one San Francisco Bay Area company is present all over the world Internet: it makes the “routers”, specialized computers that direct Internet traffic. CISCO (yes, San FranCISCO): get it?) The Internet was invented by CERN, now it is the source of profit for giant American corporations, mastering the world with ever increasing power, telling the president of the USA where he is going to sleep.

By far, the highest paid executives in the world are not at FIFA, but in the corporations of the USA. And that’s the entire point which FIFA forgot. The remedy would have been to attribute a World Cup to the USA.

As I listened to reaction in Europe, in various countries, European pundits did not follow the preceding approach. Instead they tended to marvel at the American Justice system, how thorough it was. Yet, in the end, a few tenths of millions of dollars at most circulated under the table. When an individual such as Elon Musk makes 12 billion dollars in seven years thanks to lots of subsidies of various types in the reign of Obama I, nobody investigates this hefty compensation: neither journalists, nor justice, nor what passes in the USA for intellectuals (MIT’s Chomski).

Europe is doubly at fault: first it does not have Federal structures of investigation and prosecution, as the USA has. Second, and worst, it’s naive to not realize that, had the head of FIFA walked around proudly with Obama, as Elon Musk did, the money, much greater amounts of money, would have circulated in the New World Order, where it belongs (at least that’s what the New World Order feels). The American system would then have anointed FIFA.

Thus instead of one possibly suspicious payment of 2 (two!) million dollars to the head of the European Football association, Michel Platini, one of the world’s greatest football player, ever, one would talk billions, but billions that would flow where American corporations exert control, and thus where American plutocracy commands. Trillions of  “payments” in service of the New World Order as managed form the USA, that’s not corruption, but the Free Market at its best.

American CEOs head the world’s most powerful corporations, and are paid like kings. It’s hard work to be so mean. And this is just the dusting of snow, on top of the iceberg. The real power if in Dark Pools. The corporation known as FIFA forgot its place in the pecking order. Let them eat cake in American prisons, learning, the hard way, who, in this world, is really the boss.

Feynman Renormalized

December 20, 2015

In quantum field theory, the statistical mechanics of fundamental fields, and the theory of self-similar geometric structures, renormalization is a collection of techniques used to correct computations which otherwise blow up infinitely. Feynman was one of the pioneers of renormalization, and got the Nobel Prize for it.

That work was definitively made possible by a (philosophical) understanding of the “infinite” processes at hand, so Feynman was just not an “accidental philosopher”. Feynman made brutal, but amusing remarks about the uselessness of (some) philosophers in fundamental physics, something which made connoisseurs such as yours truly smile (I knew Feynman, he was complimentary, and kind, not at all putting philosophy down, differently from some recordings out there. Feynman accepted questioning the foundations maximally. His son became a philosophy major.)

The World Is Not As Simple As That, Nor Should It Be So Rough

The World Is Not As Simple As That, Nor Should It Be So Rough

I agree with the mood behind Feynman’s uttering, the spirit of what he wanted to say. However, the context of Feynman’s remarks needs to be… renormalized. (This is an example where the mood behind a precise theory in physics, namely Quantum Field Theory, can be carried over to bring the perspective of a new method to philosophy.)

As a physicist, I admire Feynman who wrote great lectures on physics, and is mostly famous for “Feynman Diagrams” a splendid, and perhaps deep way (Feynman himself was not too sure), to denote terms in the sort of power series expansion one has to consider in Quantum Field Theories.

Feynman’s statement  depends upon what one means by “government“, the type of government one is talking about. For clarity, I will consider that “government” here SHOULD mean “Direct Democracy“, the most perfect form of democracy, what democracy really means, where the People (Demos) exert Power (Kratos). That means, in particular, that We the People rules and legislates.

Feynman, who contributed to the Manhattan Project (the making of nuclear bombs crowned, for want of a better concept, with Hiroshima and Nagasaki) seems to naturally expect the sort of fascist war government he took part in.

If one expects something too much, to the point of forgetting about possible alternatives, or how grotesque and cruel that thing is, one condones it. Feynman expects government to be tyrannical. But tyranny is not ethologically human: it’s not natural, just natural in case of war. Feynman should have realized that the government he knew was not the one we should have looking forward.

Revolution begs for distanciation. Lack of distanciation is how too much tolerance can become a crime.

Thus Feynman’s statement was to some extent self-referential, and self-condemning. Indeed, in the government Feynman was used to, there was an abyss between government and citizens. Feynman witnessed the McCarthyism witch hunt (when his own career was fully launched; Feynman saw his Manhattan project superior, Robert Oppenheimer, go down in flames, just because Oppenheimer was “not trusted”).

In Direct Democracy, a government by the citizens, for the citizens, the distinction between government and citizens disappear. Abusive “representatives” (such as Richard Nixon,a Congressman, and Senator MacCarthy) altogether disappear, as We the People represents itself.

By expecting such aa abysmal distinction, between government and citizens, Feynman seems to expect that government will have to be, forever, the sort of government he played a role in. That government Feynman was involved in was a dictatorship of some sort, out there, and up there.

Government, in the most general sense, includes the legislative, judicial, and police processes and even the army, and the laws they built, enforce, and which created them. As such, the government is deeply involved in finding out what is true, and which philosophies are valid, and which are not, supported by a rather rigorous view of history.

So Feynman’s statement should be not just be reinterpreted as a warning to the citizenry to govern with an open mind. It also indicates a sort of naivety, a sort of Manichean view of the world out of physics.

Unfortunately, just as Quantum Field Theories themselves, our interpretation of the real world is self-referential, and non-linear. Our view of reality is constantly renormalized (in a way similar to what Quantum Field Theories do). We cannot separate government from truth, and especially not perfect government. And when truth is found, it has to be enforced.

No government nowadays tolerate a religion conducive to human sacrifices (wait…) Because it was found such religions were not optimal, in the context of more advanced socio-economies guided by more evolved philosophies. And that is so much the truth, it’s legislated that way, all over.

The more powerful we humans become, the more perfect our government has to be. Thus, the more We the Citizens have to be perfect. Thus, the keener we will have to be to find the truth, and impose it, when lives, or the future, are at stake.

Truth is obtained by debate, and by making mistakes. So the fact that “We The People” can err should not be condemned: after all, dictatorships and oligarchies (what we have) also err. Erring, if done in good faith, is part of the learning process. Tyrannies, oligarchies, plutocracies are, by definition, not in good faith: as they feel that the few should overlord the many, they are by definition vicious and idiotic.

So the Slovenian People, consulted in a referendum, just rejected same-sex marriage.  The vote was 63.4% against. Interestingly, the Slovenian Parliament had passed such a law, but a rather sad group appealed to the Slovenian top court, forcing the referendum. In Europe, Britain, France and Spain recognize same-sex marriages. But this is all part of the learning process: propose, reject, debate, accept. Better let the Slovenian gay inside come out of the closet willingly, after reflection. Instead of staying stuck inside in Putin’s all too warm loudly anti-homosexual embrace.

Truth, and the lack thereof, are not an innocent bystanders. If lies are allowed to grow too big, just one citizen, in a future soon to be, could condemn the “human race”.

Some truths, or lack thereof, cannot just be considered matters of state. A Cult of Death cannot be authorized as a legal religion, for example.

In Direct Democracy, truth will not just have to be a way of life, but the only way to have government, and that includes imposing it on We The People. This is exactly the main effect of the Climate Conference, COP 21, which happened in Paris. All the nations of the world united with one voice, one truth, and declared:”Earth, We have a problem!

We have to redefine “normal”. The best renormalization of society implies much more truth than ever before.

Earth is our home, but a home is something small, thus fragile.  A home cannot be inhabited by violent, potentially lethal lies.

What’s Better? Fracking Rock, Or People?

December 19, 2015

In France, there is no fracking for gas. Although potentially huge reserves of gas are 2,500 meters underground. Fanatical self-proclaimed “ecologists” have seen to it. Seen to it, that the treasure trove below be left untouched. They are presumably proud of the 11%+ unemployment rate.

Instead of having French Muslim youth fracking for fuel around Paris, they can directly frack Parisians to fuel their anger.

In the USA, there is plenty of fracking. That divided the price of “natural gas” (the notorious methane, CH4) by four (so the price of natural gas, in the USA, is 25% of what it used to be). Methane is less CO2 producing, by unit of energy, than other fossil fuel, because it has relatively less carbon, C, and more hydrogen, H. Obama calls methane a “bridge fuel”, as he argued that CH4 will provide plenty of energy, as one switches to clean, sustainable energy sources.

For once, in a deployed strategy, Obama was right. It had an added bonus of demolishing the coal industry in the USA. Obama helped by inciting the EPA (Environment Protection Agency, Nixon’s baby) to crack down on coal.

Patriotic Circus: Hands On Heart Republican Presidential Candidates. As they Are At It, They Should Cry, But It’s Not Manly Enough

Patriotic Circus: Hands On Heart Republican Presidential Candidates. As they Are At It, They Should Cry, But It’s Not Manly Enough

American patriotism would be silly, except for one thing: it works. It just does not work psychologically, binding Americans together. It works, like in 5% unemployment rate (3% in San Francisco Bay Area, the main engine of the USA).

Fracking is not very controversial in the USA. Massive fracking is generally outlawed in populated areas, such as California, and authorized in far away places, in the so-called “flyover country” (whatever is between the left and right coasts). Nobody cares very much about what happens in gigantic states with tiny populations: Wyoming, a very fracking state, has less than one percent (1%) of the population of Great Britain, yet, a larger area (Wyoming is 112% of the area of the UK). And the fracking is not where the population is. The West already has places with names such as “Badwater”.

Fracking, studies (paid by potential frackers) show, would bring at least 100,000 well paid job in France. In recent years the USA has drilled no less than 500,000 fracked wells, and the jobs brought, mostly indirectly, are in the millions.

Implicit patriotism is why fracking is not controversial enough in the USA to stop it. Whereas in France, the French Socialist president, hounded by an astronomically cruel unemployment rate, and infuriated youth out to kill, has thrown fracking out of hand.

Why is fracking not very controversial in the USA? Because Americans need lots of energy to run their (rather inefficient) economy. Elon Musk’s Tesla is building a “gigafactory” in Nevada (Nevada is 120% of the area of the UK, while having only 5% of the population of the UK). The idea is to build something so enormous, it would bring down the price of Lithium batteries by a third, from economies of scale. Now it requires lots of energy to build, and feed such an enormous enterprise. .

Energy now provided by fracking. Tesla is selling batteries for solar homes to store the electricity produced by solar cells. As California homes are getting covered with solar cells (thanks to legally enforced advantageous feedback of homeowners’ electricity to the giant electric utilities)

I was watching a representative of Greenpeace France, raging against France for being bad for climate. Why? Because, although France pollutes with only 6 tons of CO2 per inhabitant per year, this is caused ny French nuclear plants. Greenpeace France instead lauds Germany, where 50% of electrical energy comes from coal, the energy creating the most CO2.

Greenpeace fanatical opposition to nuclear energy is religious. And a superstition. “Nuclear” seems equated to satanic. Never mind that “nuclear” made life on Earth possible, and creates solar energy (though the Sun’s thermonuclear activity).

Ecology, Greenpeace France’s style is basically a show by ignorant twerps whose business model is to ss for passionate and learned on TV. So I am saying that such “ecologists” are devoured by ambition (they want to be on TV), they are also ignorant (like Jihadists), but they want to pass for all-knowing (like Jihadists who know Allah), and passionate (they can exhibit hatred: of nuclear energy, just as Jihadists do with “unbelievers” and “idolaters”).

Thus they have those pseudo-ecologists have the best of all possible worlds: although they were not passionate enough to learn science (or learn things in general, the same problem as with Jihadists), they can masquerade as passionate creatures with deep knowledge (by showing the certainty of their hatred of something).

But the real question Americans have for them, deep down inside: are they patriotic enough? And what’s wrong with France, if they hate it so much?

It’s all and good to be against fracking (as I am) and against nuclear (as Greenpeace is). But, absent a ferocious research program in applied  new energies, the alternative is dire. The alternative is buying gas from Putin, coal from Merkel (as done presently, presumably to Greenpeace’s satisfaction). Or then, to see France get  ever poorer, and less relevant, and the rest of Europe converting into a youth hotel for Muslim refugees in love with Islamism.

The rise of the Political Correctness a la Greenpeace France (deeply anti-French) led to the present situation on university campuses in the USA where no controversial subject can be mouthed anymore.

The fact that today’s youth cannot take part in healthy debates involving the slightest controversies mean that they are heading towards the lowest possible moral category. Fleeing controversies and debate at all cost fosters the very mood, secrecy, and avoidance of any difficulty, which enabled Nazism and its attendant secrecy. So PC youth are proto-Nazis in their deepest soul.

Those who flee debates don’t just suffer from ignorance (as many Jihadists do), they ask for it. So they ask for Auschwitz.

Mentalities can grow and endure, making their own genetics. In Switzerland, two half-cantons, Obwald and Nidwald, Sharing the same canton, have been fighting for as long as can be remembered, and have different personalities. Genetic studies just showed that the half-canton to the West was peopled by Celts from West France, England and Ireland, whereas the half-canton to the east was people by Germans from North Germany. Over the millennia, the difference in mentalities (what come with moods), endured.

The parties in power in many European countries (Britain may be an exception) have made national priorities secondary. That would be excellent, if it were only to build a supranational EUROPEAN entity. However, instead of doing that, the quick expansion of the European Union to 28 members has constituted an ensemble weak in governance, thus easily manipulated by international plutocracy (to whom one can argue even Greenpeace belongs, as it seems more anxious for power than logic). More than 20,000 registered lobbyists have permanent residency in Brussels, hounding European Deputies (including Marine Le Pen and other anti-EU Members of the European Parliament).

The result is that the populations of the EU member states are not taken care of. So far only the leading party in Greece governs with an anti-austerity mood. All other 27 nations’ government practice “austerity” (money and power to financial types, not enough for anybody else). But only Iceland (not a member of EU, but of Schengen Area) has jailed bankers.

However, this may change tomorrow, when Spain votes: “Podemos” (“We can!”) may make its presence felt. “Podemos” is anti-austerity. I am all for it. “Austerity” is, mostly, an other word for plutocracy.

In France the LRPS (pronounced L’Herpes; hey, I made that up myself!) is the unholy union of the Socialists (PS) and the right wing “Les Republicains” (a copy of the American ones, minus the hands on the hearts). L’Herpes is all for austerity. Except now Parisian soirées, from having starved the military, the secret services, and lauded Literal Islam, while refusing to give the youth work, have turned into mayhem, with 500 killed or wounded in a few minutes.

The resource in France has a finite shelf life. If the CH4 under French soil is not used soon, it will never be used. Indeed, when sea level is one meter up (which is virtually certain within half a century), burning carbon will be outlawed (except as a legacy activity, perhaps). When much of France is a vast polder, nobody will want to invest massively to burn more carbon (even if it is in attenuated form).

If you want austerity, you cannot be for sustainable energy, as it costs energy and spending (as the USA deployed, and is deploying some more) to build the sustainable infrastructure.

By claiming that the principle of purity of French soil is more precious than worrying about infuriated unemployed Muslim youth, the French government treacherously and not so stealthily contribute to Jihad, by deliberately provoking unemployed Muslim youth.

Diabolization is a powerful instrument. For example I diabolize plutocracy (naturally enough). However, instead of doing this, the diabolization of truly diabolic forces, authorities in France have diabolized the National Front, or fracking, or working as much as one wants, or those who fear Literal Islam, or Genetically Modified Organisms, etc. Both phenomena are related (in a conservation law of diabolization).

So do you want austerity, and die, or be enslaved, or do you want to change regime, and mentality? It should not be too hard to decide. Podemos!

Tribal Preferences Everywhere

December 18, 2015

Even In Science, Tribal Effects Dominate:

Human beings are tribal animals. A tribe is a small group of individuals, helping each other, cemented by deep emotions. Don’t say it’s over. A recent study demonstrates what some have guessed all along, namely that it flourished in science.

Max Planck — the Nobel Prize–winning physicist who launched quantum theory by discovering that energy radiation was quantized  — once made the cynical observation that science progressed “one funeral at a time”. Said he:

“A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it.”

(When Hitler started to devastate Germany, Planck visited the madman, and told that imbecile that his institute and university had been destroyed by Hitler’s racial policies. Hitler later had Planck’s son killed.)

Researchers at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) released a working paper — titled, “Does Science Advance One Funeral at a Time?” Yes it does:

Even In Science Baboons Follow The Leader Profitably

Even In Science Baboons Follow The Leader Profitably

Mining citations in the PubMed database, the researchers found evidence that when a prominent researcher suddenly dies in an academic subfield, a blooming of new ideas and innovation follow. They identified 12,935 “elite” scientists — based on the amount of funding they received, how many times they’ve published, how many patents they invented, or whether they were members of elite groups, such as the National Academies of Sciences or the Institute of Medicine. They found 452 of these elite researchers died before retirement. As science leaves a dense trail of citations, publish dates, and authors’ hierarchies, it’s possible to track changes in publishing patterns after the permanent eclipse of a prominent star.

After the death of a rock-star scientist, their frequent collaborators and tag-alongs — the junior researchers who authored papers with them, often enslaved to them — suddenly see a drop in publications. At the same time, there is a marked increase in published work by other newcomers to the field.

Verily, a PhD is mostly a tribal rite. (Warning: Elites will scream!)

So Why Should Nations, Those Super-Tribes Of Europe, Vanish Under A Flood Of Invaders?

Plutocrats all over loudly clamoring that Syrian refugees should get preference over Natives so destitutes, they can’t even reproduce: contemplate Germany, with the world’s worst reproduction rate, and now one million mostly Muslim refugees admitted in eleven months (the European Union accepted hundreds of thousands more, including three whose calling was to kill as many people in Paris as they could).

It seems only natural that Natives would get preferential treatment above Non-Natives.

Some claim that open borders, the open society, welcoming invaders, is so superior in all ways, that it should be embraced at all costs. The argument was rolled out first by Pericles. However, within 30 years, half of the Athenian population was dead, the city occupied, and only Sparta saved Athens for eradication.

Opening up a country to the max works, as a complement. But, throughout the West, we observe decay, to the point the Natives cannot afford to reproduce. Instead, it is proposed to generously import millions of Middle Easterners… Many armed with a version of a religion which hates the West (9/11, the Paris and San Bernardino massacres were fully, or partly organized by such imports).

Who wins from importing invaders and weakening the Natives? International plutocracy, as above local laws as it is above decency, and the nations it crushes. Unsurprisingly, the same international plutocracy owns the Main Stream Media of the West. A tycoon such as Murdoch could move from Australia, colonize Britain, and then take over the USA (where he owns plenty, including Fox News and the WSJ…) And then the MSM tells the little people, and persuade them that, the worse their condition gets, the better, as long as they are generous to strangers from far-away lands (such as the aforesaid plutocrats).

The more the fate of the Natives of the West looks ominous, the more they will revolt against their oppressors. Hopefully.

And those oppressors are those who have molded minds in the West. Thus the minds of the people have to fight themselves.

This is why a site about cuddly kittens will get thousands of “likes” a day, and an enormous readership, whereas a serious site such as this one has generally to make do with none. Let the force be with you, and direct it first towards those poisonous moods and thoughts which have brought your stealthy demise.

Well, it could be worse: you could believe, as the Pope’s government does, that Mother Teresa cured cancer, because someone’s cancer supposedly went away after touching a medal of Teresa. (After that, you may want to chop off head of Shiites, should you be a Saudi prince! Because if one miracle can happen, so could any.)

Teresa was somebody who accused tens of millions of women to be murderesses, among other exploits:

Christian Morality: Cruel & Demented Sado-Masochism, All Too Often

Christian Morality: Cruel & Demented Sado-Masochism, All Too Often

Following the leader materially helps, but can be entirely nefarious, morally speaking. By condoning the Catholic Church often monstrous morality, and the exploitation of women, the Catholic church has found another diabolical leader to make a saint of.

Mother Teresa was mostly a self-interested ambition sucker, anxious to make Pope John-Paul II feel good about himself (she was hanging around the Pope’s ear in the Vatican, a plushy place if there is any!). But she is a saint says the same tribal organization which promptly made “Saint” Louis (IX), who wrote that nothing would please him more than torturing to death “unbelievers” and Jews.

What’s the main reason for tribes? Death. Giving death, avoiding death. Just study Saint Louis. Just study Teresa, and her pain and death obsessions. And tribal effect can cause death to new ideas, not just people, all over, not just science.

Plutocracy is its own tribe, and its survival depends upon free markets, open borders, tini tiny local laws which big plutocrats can fly over, and the general world order the 99% suffer from in the West.

Planck and the economic researchers we quoted above push us towards the following conclusion. You want innovation, and a blooming of art, thought, ideas, and justice, and a young world? Please help visit upon plutocracy an early demise!

How Was Auschwitz Possible? Ignorance!

December 17, 2015

Secrecy Is Atrocity’s Best Friend:

By this question I do not mean how it was technically possible for the Nazis to massacre deliberately more than fifteen million innocent civilians whom they had arrested for no reason but hatred. Modern technology is the obvious answer: government propaganda to mislead people, firearms to herd the innocent, trains to transport them, gas to kill them efficiently.

What I mean is how come the Holocaust of millions of “Jews”, and an even greater number of millions of other innocent civilians falling under other categories, was possible, in the name of the German nation? How come the Germans went along? Was not Germany the country in the world which was the most literate, the one with the most readers in 1900? How could such a country sink so low?

"Children, What Do You Want From the Guide?" The Guide Loved Children, Children Loved the Guide

“Children, What Do You Want From the Guide?” The Guide Loved Children, Children Loved the Guide

Obviously, reading is not everything: one has to read Philosophically Correct material (PhC material). The Germans read a lot of materialistic, fascist, imperialistic, militaristic and hyper nationalistic propaganda. That brought their wisdom in the gutter, made them forget the human nature of humanity, and made them much less human than even a simple illiterate fisherman in any other country (say). One thing Germans were not short of, was kolossal naivety.

Still, how come the German nation went so rabid? The answer is simple. Another technology was at work: propaganda, combined with modern means to achieve secrecy and disinformation. One can see this by a closer look at history, a page in the history of moods.

By early 1945, the Great Reich still existed, and fought for survival, attacked on all fronts by all its enemies, including Poles, French, Brits, Canadians, Soviets, Americans, etc. As the Soviets penetrated old Prussia, they submitted cities to horrendous bombardment, and when they found Germans alive, chances were that those Germans were women and children (as the men had died in combat). I am not aware of mass exactions against children (so many were dead already), but certain women were put to what Soviet troops saw as very good use, hundreds of times a day.

The Nazis related with relish to their own population, the total, and barbarous extermination of the German East, the murdering of centuries of civilization, and warned the masses that so would be the fate of all of Germany. Therefore, the German population had to fight with the energy of despair, and the natural enmity between Soviets and democracies would do the rest.

The fanatical discourses and orders of the hysterically vicious Nazi leadership was not heeded. Instead, many Germans and local authorities produced white flags, and tried to surrender. In spite of the fact the Nazis viewed that as treason, and the penalty for this was immediate execution.

Most Germans knew Germany was being destroyed in the East, civilians were submitted to unspeakable treatment, tens of thousands of german civilians were dying every few days, and still, deep down, they felt it was deserved.

Now remember that in May 1940, the German Panzer army had been able to break through the French fortifications on the Meuse by using suicide bombers.

So why were Germans so much less keen to die for the Great Reich in 1945 than in 1940?

Why did the the mood change in Germany?

Auschwitz, the Holocaust.

By 1945, average Germans knew intimately that the Nazis, we the Germans, had did a terrible thing, the most terrible thing to “those poor people”, the Jews.

The mood in Germany was that Germany had sinned, and was punished for the unspeakable horror it had visited on the Jews. (Among others.)

Why did that revelation not happen earlier?

Because the Nazis kept the Holocaust secret enough to be able to deny it.

What would have had happened if, by January 1941, say, when the Holocaust had already been launched, average Germans had known what was going on? That the Great Reich had deliberately killed millions of Poles?

Well, quickly enough, the military would have revolted and decapitated the Nazi power structure (as it is there was a huge conspiracy to do so, but it mostly failed because not enough in the military were in the know of the extent of the exactions, or suffering from pressure at home condemning said exactions). The German military had the means to kill the Nazis, but lacked enough motivation. Only the exhibition of enough Nazi atrocities atrocious enough, would have provided that motivation.

If average Germans had known how atrocious their government was, how much atrocities they had visited on innocent civilians, if they had know their government bombed flour mills to starve millions of Poles to death, in 1939, let alone create an extermination camp at Auschwitz, to kill Polish civilians, and then started to kill innocent Jews, even innocent German Jews, then average Germans would have been revolted by Nazism… As most of them were by 1945.

So it is secrecy which made the Holocaust possible. And this has important lessons for today, and the freedom and wisdom of the Internet.

Fast Forward To France 2015:

Poor Marine Le Pen! My heart swells for her, and not just just a bit of self-interested worry, too. Marine just thought she could do like yours truly, and post on the Internet some of the Islamist State propaganda (just to show the horror, and condemn it! However, the French State has now decided that the messenger was culprit of the message).

Last August, the Islamist State released a video of its assassination of James Foley, a journalist who went missing in Syria in 2012. Ms. Le Pen posted images of his killing, and those of others, in reply to a well known French pundit who had compared her party, the Front National, to the Islamist State. Bourdin the Cretin, paid propagandist on RMC et BFMTV, Wednesday 16 December evoked a “une communauté d’esprit” between two “formes de repli identitaire” (identity grouping), the rise of the National Front and the rise of Jihadism. Bourdin’s guest insisted that the Islamist State and the Front National “resemble each other” (by the same token, Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump are also Islamist State! And actually so are all those who prefer the natives to strangers: patriotism has become an absolute evil, according to anti-“populist” propaganda!)

This was weird in many ways: first there are only 4,000 Jihadists in France, whereas nearly seven millions voted for the National Front last Sunday. Second, the National Front, and Marine le Pen in particular, are precisely against all what the Islamist State stands for. But the “French Theory” sort of “philosophy” has induced a mood of sheer madness where everything is mashed up: call black, white, white, black, and then chuckle all is grey, so it does not matter.

Naturally enough, Ms. Le Pen put on her twitter accounts pictures of Islamist State executions, pointing out that the National Front did not do that, and had always been against that.

The Foley family whined that: “We are deeply disturbed by the unsolicited use of Jim for le Pen’s political gain… the tweets “add to the family’s pain”. Really? Is it this, or are you feeling the urge to milk your fame? Why would that disturb you that someone remind us of your son’s martyrdom? Because your son is best forgotten?

I guess we better forget that Jim Foley was assassinated atrociously, according to his parents, that’s the best way to ignore honor him. Those foolish follies seem to show a healthy disregard for Jim Foley’s calling. Jim’s calling was to inform people. Inform them of what? The most significant events. And what’s more significant than atrocities committed in the name of a religion? (The Foley family added Le Pen’s “actions” were against what their son stood for, that’s why they were indignant. So I guess, according to them, their son was all for Islamism, since Marine Le Pen is against it?)

Le Pen said she did not know it was a picture of James Foley, and took it down immediately after she became aware of the foolish family disingenuous protest (as the family’s little PC political plug against Le Pen demonstrates). (Notas Bene: if terrorists kill me, as extreme right wing terrorists tried this once already, I am for putting on the Internet pictures of my gory assassination, which will thence demonstrate further one of my points, post mortem.)

Plutocratic media immediately jumped on the occasion to scream after Marine Le Pen. One propagandist went on Le Pen’s twitter account to report her indignation, feeling “deeply violated” by the “grotesque pictures”… As if Le Pen herself had cut the throats of the victims of Islamism.

I guess, the same person would have been “deeply violated” by being shown “grotesques pictures” of Nazi assassinations, and would have asked authorities to hide them, and justice to strike those who showed pictures of Nazi atrocities. Actually, this is exactly what is presently happening in France.

The French Interior Minister went further. At the National Assembly, Bernard Cazeneuve, reacted to the tweets of Marine Le Pen : “They are the photos of Islamist State propaganda, and, thus, an abjection, an abomination, and a real insult for all victims of terrorism, for all those who fell under the fire and barbarity of the Islamist State” [“Elles sont les photos de la propagande de Daech et ces photos sont, à ce titre, une abjection, une abomination et une véritable insulte pour toutes les victimes du terrorisme, pour toutes celles et tous ceux qui sont tombés sous le feu et la barbarie de Daech. (…) J’ai demandé que la plate-forme Pharos puisse se saisir de cette affaire.”]

In other words, all those who published pictures of the collapsing World Trade Center are abominable, abject accomplices of Al Qaeda, and those who published pictures of Nazi mass executions are abominable, abject accomplices of Nazism, and so on.

What is clear is that the French Interior minister is such an idiot, that he makes even Dr, Goebbels sound like a genius. Or then the French Interior Minister is keen to go beyond the worst caricature of dictatorship and misinformation found in Orwell’s “1984”. Even the minutes of Joan of Arc’s trial don’t exhibit a similar madness on the part of her obviously biased accusers (and no, I am not in love with Joan of Arc).

I reacted to this by deciding to follow Joan of Arc Marine Le Pen on Twitter (she has 10,000 more followers than 12 hours ago).

The real problem is that the French Socialist government machine has decided to attack what feeds reason itself. Information, data, knowledge, cognition. (Why? The polls are so bad for the Socialists, they are going to be wiped out in the next elections, in 18 months. As they deserved, since they are Socialist in name only: remember Hitler’s “National-Socialists”)

So you want no more Auschwitz? Let knowledge flow. “Social networks” should not ban violence for the sake of banning violence.

Indeed, as we saw with the Nazis, banning the knowledge of the true extent of abominable, abject violence is what made the Holocaust of 2% of humanity in the Second World (because the Nazis and their imperial Jap allies did not stop with killing more than 60 million innocent civilian; they also conducted official wars of aggressions).

So, if one wants morality, one has to exhibit violence, be it only to condemn and eliminate it.

Those who claim to not understand that, as the French Interior Minister, are just abject, abominable cretins.

Then “Social Networks” should consider why the violence is shown. If I show an execution by the Islamist State to condemn it, that is not only OK, it is morally perfect. If the Islamist State shows the same picture for its propaganda, it’s an abject abomination, and it should be censored.

It’s not difficult. One has to exert judgment in light of absolute morality, the one given by 100 million years of evolution, human ethology. Apparently, Twitter is already doing this (Facebook is another matter: it views the female breast as an abject abomination, and blocks it fiercely; it seems the leadership of Facebook hate mammals: “mamma” means breast in Latin).

We humans have to exert meta-judgments. Both on moods and ideas. If Germans had realized how vicious and atrocious the real mood of the Nazi leadership was, they would have recoiled in horror, and withdraw support, as they finally did in 1945. French government’s Foleys follies misrepresenting the State of Islamism, to the point of accusing the national front of Islamism, are of a related vein, and explain the rise of Islamism there.

Ignorance is not just a matter of ignoring some data points. Ignorance is also ignoring shocks to the emotional systems which are intrinsic to the situation being ignored. This is what the leadership of a country like France has ignored all too long. And here, by leadership, I do not mean lesser minds such as the present clowns who gather every week at the presidential palace in Paris to plot the dismal course for 70 millions and most of Europe.

By “leadership” I mean mostly what passes for the intellectual class, those who thought the Eurosterity (= Euro + Austerity) would be a good regime, and Islamophobiaphobia all the philosophy they needed, by praying to the mighty gods of the “markets”, those who thought colonialism was terrible, if from Europe, but the way to go, if from any other power, and so on.

Civilization without information is only malformation of reason.

Islam Versus Reality

December 16, 2015

Islam Versus Islam Cum Reality:

The Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire, CERN, may have hit the jackpot with its mighty accelerator fed by French nuclear power plants: an apparent new particle, and one NOT predicted by the Standard Model. It could be a Heavy Higgs, or a Graviton…

Notice that the Islamist State has not attacked CERN, yet. However it should, just as a matter of coherence: after all, CERN is trying to define reality better. True Believers know that all the reality there is, is found in the Qur’an. Thus CERN, by exploring, and inventing a different version of reality, is a center of some reality based idolatry obviously adverse to the Qur’an.

Let’s hope CERN has good security (a very small bomb could cause billions of Euros of damage to the Large Hadron Collider, and stop it for years).

Some Of What’s In The Qur’an Can Be Reinterpreted Nicely

Some Of What’s In The Qur’an Can Be Reinterpreted Nicely

As I have tried to explain, Islamism has long been a manipulation which has adversely affected the enfolding of civilization, and that especially in the regions most affected. That Africa and the Middle East have contributed enormously to civilization and can still do so is beyond dispute. Be it only in music: listen to the Touareg group Imahran (the on-going turmoil in Libya is partly about freeing the Touareg). http://www.prospect.zone/imahran-nouveau-venu-sur-la-scene-rock-touareg-partage-les-visuels-de-tahabort/

Meanwhile The Guardian, which censored, as the New York Times does, anything I said vaguely related to Islam, decided to equip itself with a bit of balls and brains. So it published:

Muslims can reinterpret their faith: it’s the best answer to Isis: “Religion must evolve and change – and Islam is no exception. Hardline literalists are undermining the soul of a loving, universal creed.” by Hassan Radwan. (Never mind that the punishment for apostasy is death, no doubt a lasting effect of universal love, as some Saudi youth are discovering anew.)

Not just that, but, after informing me kindly that I was under surveillance, and thinking about it for a little while, The Guardian allowed some comments of mine to be published (which constitute part of what follows). That was a first in months.

Reinterpreting Islam is a solution I have insisted upon, for decades. It is true that most of the people who claim to be the faithful of a given religion have not read the sacred texts they claim to be obeying, and live accordingly. This enables very bad men, or youth, to hijack a religion to their own evil ends, by exploiting the bad quotes they can find, and living accordingly.

A detailed knowledge of history reveals much in the case of the Qur’an. It is not just that the Qur’an was written by people. The Qur’an claims to be the message from God, as transmitted by the Messenger, Muhammad. However, history itself says that this is not so.

The closest  people to Muhammad, his wife Aisha and his son in law, Ali, said that the Qur’an we have is not the Qur’an (Recitation) which Muhammad related. Aisha was as explicit as possible about this. She said that the people who knew Muhammad best knew obviously better what he said, than people who barely knew him. In particular she said that the Qur’an that was imposed by Uthman mistreated women (whereas Muhammad was very much for gender equality, and there is overwhelming historical evidence that this is completely true: Muhammad improved considerably the condition of women, and the effect was crucial in helping Islam forge a gigantic empire shortly before and after Muhammad’s unexpected death).

Aisha went to war about this, the atrocious sexism imposed by Uthman’s Qur’an. Unfortunately she lost the “Battle of the Camel” (named from the fact Aisha stood above the battlefield on a camel).

So what happened? The composition of a suitable Qur’an was ordered by the Fourth Caliph, the general Uthman.

Uthman set up a committee to write a Qur’an which suited him. Once that was done, he had all other versions of the Qur’an boiled, throughout the giant Muslim empire.

Thus history shows that the highest (religious) authorities, from the start, contested the validity of the existing Qur’an, that the Qur’an really represented faithfully what the Messenger related. It offers an explicit reason to modify it, by sticking closer to the more plausible version of what Muhammad said (follow Aisha!)

Christianism itself was heavily reinterpreted. The Christianism we tolerate now had all the naughty bits explicitly removed. Such as the Evangels’ Luke 27; 19 which is the predecessor of the Qur’an Sura 5, verse 9. Both verses enjoins to “slay” people who are considered to be “unbelievers“. Obviously, as Christ was ready to slay unbelievers, the Muslim version of God could not do anything else, just to keep up with the Jones (so the violence of the Qur’an partly originates from the violence of Christianism).

The problem with making the Qur’an we have compatible with civilization are very deep. The place of women (or inferior place thereof, what Aisha condemned) is in total contradiction with the United Nations Charter (in law, a woman is half a man, and a man can dissolve or enter marriage pretty much at will, his will; also “battlefield brides” are allowed, and that’s just condoning battlefield rape, as one can observe the Islamist State to practice).

Also the Qur’an is explicitly hostile to democracy (although it encourages charity and equality of all under God). It is actually explicitly friendly to dictators, as long as they are Muslim:

O YE WHO BELIEVE! Obey Allah, and obey the messenger and OBEY THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE IN POWER.” (Qur’an’s fascist principle, Sura 4; verse 59). In other words, obey authority as a matter of religion. No wonder that, where the Qur’an rules, so do strongmen.

Saladin and his successors made the literal interpretation of the Qur’an subject to the death penalty. That started before 1200 CE.

In many places of the world, and sometimes very long ago, the fact that the Qur’an was incompatible with civilization was observed and the application of the Qur’an was modified in consequence by supplementary texts and practices. Such currents are often labelled  “Sufism”.

In recent decades, the monarchies of the Middle East were able to smother Sufism under their petrodollars, and replace it by the literalism that was expressly made unlawful in Egypt in the Twelfth Century.

By the 1930s, Literalist Islam had nearly disappeared from much of the “Muslim World”. However, the ascent of petro-monarchies after World War Two changed everything. The reason for their financing of Literalism (aka Salafism) was obvious: thus the dictatorships of the Middle East made the world more hospitable, and friendly, to them.

Meanwhile most opinion leaders in the West were too unfamiliar with Islam to understand that, as Abou Diouf of Senegal (ex-president and a Muslim himself) observed, the Islam of West Black Africa was a completely different religion from the Islam of Saudi Arabia. Thus they extended the respect some versions of Sufism richly deserved, to their fanatical antagonist, Literalist Islam.

In other words, Islamophobia is justified in some versions of Islam, and not at all in others. Justice is starting to understand this. In France Jihadist threats and “ordinary Islamism” brought more arrests in three weeks after the Paris attacks than in the rest of the year. 25% of the arrests were of adolescents. 66% resulted in jail condemnations.

This is obviously unsustainable. The solution is to advertise widely what forms of Islamist practices are available, and legal. And also to make Literal Islam explicitly unlawful. As it is, Literal Islam is unlawful only when it explicitly violate democratic law. Thus a great percentage of youth is imprinted on the notion and practices of Literal Islam, while not aware that they contradict the law. And that other versions of Islam exist, which are perfectly compatible with the Human Right Charter.

Meanwhile at CERN, the first team (those can have thousands of PhDs on board) who found the putative new particle said there was one chance out of 93 that this was a fluke. You have to understand that the usual standard is one out 3.5 million. Indeed, so many experiments are made, lots of flukes happen. So why the excitement? Because an independent team, with an independent experiment also found a bump at the same place.

Particles are all about bumps these days. Yet a bump on the road, such as Christianism in the Fourth Century, can be all it takes to send civilization packing.

Why? Because savagery is just below the surface. Humanity’s fate all too often holds just with a hair. Why? Because the savage, better connected as she, or he, is, with his, or her, emotional system, thinks more powerfully, in a sense best connected to war. That’s why Christian fanatics, who were savages, “men in black”, found so easy to go through civilization like a red hot knife through butter.

I savage, thus I think. Or not.

Peace Through Strength Only

December 15, 2015

There are arguments which are disingenuous, but traditional. One is that one should “turn the other cheek”, that one should reply to aggression with love, etc. All right, that certainly can help with friend and family, but, on the political scale, responding to aggression with love helps the less, the largest the scale of the political system concerned.

That Europe is under attack cannot be painted over: the working age population in many countries has gone down. Let me show the graph for Portugal, which is down 5%. But even the largest countries are affected; many of the best and brightest, both in France and Germany, are often found in places like the San Francisco Bay Area (and Germany’s population shrank catastrophically from 83 millions to 79, notwithstanding Merkel’s importation of more than one million Middle Easterners…)

Portugal Is Shrinking. Actually All Of Europe Is Shrinking, But NOT Great Britain, Where The Same Methods As In The USA Are Applied

Portugal Is Shrinking. Actually All Of Europe Is Shrinking, But NOT Great Britain, Where The Same Methods As In The USA Are Applied

Some say “Terrorism” (aka, Islamism) kills relatively few people: around 3,000 people get killed, each month, in the USA, by firearms. Obama correctly observes:”That’s insane”. Terrorists can hardly expect to kill as much, indeed. However…

However, “terrorism” imposes a much higher cost on everybody.

9/11 showed that unconventional mass attacks work (the French and Israelis had expected such an air attack for decades, all the more as it was tried in France in 1996, when a jumbo jet was hijacked for that purpose; no animal was injured during the rescue of the hostages). Since the 1990s, a missile defense system was set-up around civilian installation such as La Hague (where there was more dangerous nuclear material than anywhere else in the world)

So now, at least in France, water supplies are closely watched in real time, and extravagances such as watching for explosives are spreading throughout society. Not that having a camera for all and any angle is a bad idea: it will make all these who want to dress with a full veil, as suspicious as the emperor in Star Wars.

Today “plausible threats” were directed at all Los Angeles public schools. Just when children were going to study for the day, 1,200 (one thousand two hundred) schools were closed. 640,000 students (more than the population of Luxembourg) stayed home. Parents could not go to work, while they made other arrangements (child abandonment being against the law).  A similar threat in New York was ignored.

Terror causes derangement and madness, that’s how it works. In all social, economic, and political matters, psychology is the most important factor… Until a crash or a collapse or other tough encounter with reality intervenes, and a completely different psychology, war making, emerges. And psychology can get very twisted. Beyond what is usually brandished in psychology textbooks. Real psychology deployed by individuals is always ahead of what they read in, or heard about from, textbooks. Because under-standing is all about going meta (going below, or above, what is understood, by making a theory about what is known, beyond what is known.)

The European Commission has proposed a “Super Frontex” to save the Schengen (”No Borders”) Europe. The empire is counter-attacking. Indeed there were more than one million two hundred thousand official illegal entries in the Schengen space this year.

The existing “Frontex” is in charge of helping the states defend the frontiers of “Schengen” (which is the European Union  plus Norway, Switzerland, Serbia, Macedonia minus Great Britain). “Frontex” has 400 agents. “Super Frontex” would have 2,500 ready to intervene nearly instantaneously… even without the authorization of the nation where there is an illegal immigration crisis.

This would be a major step in making Europe into a nation. Unsurprisingly Hungary is against it. However France and Germany are all for it.

That many problems affecting Europe can only be addressed by much more strength is becoming increasingly evident to more and more Europeans: hence the success of “far-right” parties, or increasingly “far-right” ideas (UK PM Cameron’s majority being the most obvious far-right success in 2015).

After the Paris attacks, the French Air force hit targets four times in Raqqa, the Islamist State’s capital, on some very precise, well determined targets. After that, conscious of the problem of hitting inside a city full of innocent civilians, and of the fact the islamist State creates entire cities of tunnels below the cities it seizes, the French and the Americans brought diplomatic force to bear on Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and company. It bore fruit: those countries have announced the constitution of a force to fight the Islamist State on the ground (which will be advised by Western Special Forces helping planes find targets in a timely manner, a tactic which allowed to recover several cities).

That’s nice, especially if Turkey closes its borders. In not unrelated news, the European Union announced it would reconsider favorably Turkey’s candidacy to the European Union.

In other, but related, news, Marine Le Pen, who was accused criminally to have stoked ethnic hatred for comparing hordes of kneeling Muslims blocking the streets of France to pray their abusive god, to the Nazi occupation of said France, was found not guilty. OK, she has no said, to my knowledge, “abusive”, about the Muslim God, but I will do whatever it takes to not be accused to be a follower of Marine, so I will not hesitate to forge ahead, in the philosophically correct way.

Abusive? Abusive behavior brought to bear upon the female spouse is ordered by God in the Qur’an:

Qur’an, Sura 4: Verse 34 “… As to those women on whose part you fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them, refuse to share their beds,  and beat them. If they obey you, you have no right to act against them. God is most high and great.” All male chauvinist pig abusers should swear allegiance to the Islamist State, that would be a smart move. (Hurry up while it lasts!)

Pushed by the U.S. army, 7,500 Peshmerga, the fighters of Kurdistan, took the (mostly Kurdish) city of Sinjar. The Islamist State’s fighters were led by fanatical Afghan and Chechen commanders. American bombing helped to destroy their hold on the city (which is nearly completely destroyed). Most Jihadists were able to flee. The USA speaks of hundreds of Jihadists killed. The Kurds found Yazidis corpses in fields around the city: older women, who had been persuaded first to drop their weapons, were then eliminated by the Islamist State. Younger women were then used sexually. until they died (a few escaped).

Why was the Islamist State’s main road not cut earlier? Surely, France and the USA had the means to cut that road, in the last two years. But they did not, because of the “turn the other cheek“, “Islam is peace, and we are too” philosophy embraced by the befuddled populations and governments in the USA and France (among others). Or, let’s say, so was the excuse.

Strength is not just that of security services, and the army. It’s also legislative strength, propped by the correct philosophy. “Political Correctness” has been a weakness, because it was mostly sustained by the all-too Christian “turn-the-other-cheek” philosophy.

Turn the other cheek” is what tyrannical Roman emperors and their cliques wanted common people to do: it is easier to slap again those who turn the other cheek. Persuading the Commons that turning the other cheek was in their best interest, was always a tactic to turn the rabble into an obedient, sheep-like mob (an image Christianism used ad nauseam!) As Nietzsche pointed out, the philosophy of the aristocracy was rather that of the “blonde beast“:

Coat of Arms of England: 3 Blonde Beasts

Coat of Arms of England: 3 Blonde Beasts

The Plantagenet Dukes of Normandy, Starting With their founder, the Viking Rollo (made vassal of the King of France in 911 CE) used initially only two lions… Benjamin Franklin, deliberately blind to the preceding philosophy, that peace can be attained, and preserved, through strength only, wanted to use the eminently edible turkey as symbol of the USA (maybe Franklin was trying to persuade the King of England that he, Franklin, was only as stupid and harmless as a turkey?). Common sense prevailed, and a suitably predatory eagle was chosen.

Ultimately, humanity is all about the smartest, and greatest strength. Whatever vegans try to mumble through those naivety orgasms they indulge in. Civilization is a one parameter group of transformation from the Absolute Worth Energy (AWE) at the disposal of each person. In other words, energy being at the core of human living, thus humanism, proper and optimal violence management has always been at the core of the most human humanity.

Le Pen Trumps Plutocracy?

December 14, 2015

At first sight the rage of the likes of the magazine “The Economist” against Trump and Le Pen is strange: after all, The Economist is on the “right”, so are the preceding two. A clue: The Economist put the preceding two in the same bag as Bernie Sanders, under the mysterious label “Populist”… I guess a “populist” is someone for the People by contrast to those who are not (the likes of “The Economist”).

My own mom accused me to be “Front National” just because the French (“far right”, not that it is clear what that means) National Front has adopted certain issues I have long held dear. For example, many countries (and not just in the West) have seen the rise of new aristocracies. ⅔ of the top French companies by market value are held by inheritance, whereas it’s only around 20% in the UK or the USA; the reason emanates directly from the tax system; and the exact same tax forces are now at work in the USA, namely the exemption of the hyper rich from taxation, and inheritance tax, with a artfully crafted loopholes and exemptions. Notice in passing that this is a case where France is more “capitalist” than the USA (contrarily to legend).

Sugar Coated Plutocracy: French Aristocracy Bond Girl & Palme d’Or: Most Of French Power Is Held By Dynasties: Ancien Régime All Over Again

Sugar Coated Plutocracy: French Aristocracy Bond Girl & Palme d’Or: Most Of French Power Is Held By Dynasties: Ancien Régime All Over Again

[“Léa Seydoux“, in the latest Bond movie, above, of her true name, Léa Hélène Seydoux-Fornier de Clausonne, is from an immensely rich and famous family, which has been that way, for many generations. So it is, all over French society: Sons of… and Daughters of… are those who succeed and get into the .1% of everything (singing, acting, administrating, politics, medicine, engineering, etc.). Consider the just published book “Fils de.. Filles de...”]

I guess, by that token, I am pro-Trump as Trump has embraced single payer, or even socialized health care system. In truth I am pro-truth and about issues.

Much of these outrages emanate from a political system which has embraced hero-worship, instead of issue-worship.

Hero-worship, celebritism spurns thinking. Thus a world where 97% of the convicted for serious crimes in the USA do not come in front of a jury, and are judged by non-judges… While Americans are persuaded they live in a country of justice. Or a world where a human right lawyer in China joined Marine Le Pen in being accused of “ethnic hatred” (the difference being that Le Pen is number two in French preference for president whereas the Chinese lawyer has been incarcerated for 18 months).

OK, let’s quote some of the (honorable, supposedly) USA “Republican” pundits. A raging conservative, Guy Benson, bemoans that:

“Republican voters — driven, it would seem, by Trump backers — became astonishingly supportive of (a) maintaining the Iran nuclear deal, (b) government-run and -funded healthcare, and (c) race-based affirmative action when the pollster informed respondents that those positions were held by Donald Trump, as opposed to Barack Obama.  These aren’t hypotheticals, by the way.  Follow those links, and you’ll discover that longtime Democrat Donald Trump has embraced all three liberal stances during his current presidential run. Not back when he was donating generously to Hillary Clinton and Harry Reid over the years (yes, yes, “because he’s a businessman!”), and not even more recently, when Trump was declaring his support for the wasteful “stimulus” package enacted by Obama, whom he declared had rescued the American economy; no, these are viewpoints articulated by the current iteration of Trump.  The punchline is that his supporters don’t care at all.  Trump’s Democrat-style campaign is driven by feelings and identity, not issues.  The HuffPo survey also revealed the same phenomenon at play on the other end of the spectrum, as hordes of Obama cultists reflexively tossed foundational liberal-left ideals overboard after they were told they were agreeing with Trump, versus Obama.  Can we abandon all reason and alleged principles in order to march in lockstep with an anointed political figure, or oppose a bete noir?  Yes we can. The point is that emotion-based hero worship can heavily erode afflicted parties’ previous adherence to values, ideology, and critical thinking.”

Hero-worship, what I call “Celebritism” is an increasing problem, and fully a part of the oligarchic phenomenon, itself a subset of the plutocratic mindset.

The plutocratic phenomenon does not suck out all the air from democracy, but from intelligence itself (the USA’s first billionaire, Carnegie, explained this, 130 years ago). Yet plutocrats should remember this: at some  point great vengeance is exercised (it happened even in the USA, witness president Eisenhower 93% upper margin tax rate). And history indeed shows that, at some point always, the pen trumps plutocracy

Moods Are Most Fundamental

December 13, 2015

Moods are the theorems of emotional systems, but also constitute the chemical milieu in which new logic is elaborated.

Moods can be addressed, they have to addressed (although traditional scholarship does not consider their nature, which is different, and more basic than that of ideas).

Racism is a mood. Anti-Semitism is a mood. Anti-Judaism is a mood. Religious fanaticism around a superstition is a mood. The fanatical Catholicism of the Middle Ages was a mood. Irrationalism is a mood. Nationalism is a mood. Feeling that nature can be exploited relentlessly is a mood. Sexism is a mood. That the “Free Market” can think for all and any, is a mood too. Conservativism is a mood, so is progressivism (I have to introduce neologism; neologizing is itself a mood, mathematical research an example!)

If nationalism is a mood, so can be… anti-nationalism. And that, in turn, pushed to extremes, can bring a backlash (remember Henry Ford’s book “The International Jew”, which impelled a new mood, which, in turn, fed mightily Adolf Hitler and the hyper nationalism he jumped on).

Feed The Aliens, Hate Xenophobia: What Could Go Wrong?

Feed The Aliens, Hate Xenophobia: What Could Go Wrong?

The Plutocratic Press Hates “Populism”:

The Economist had a “lead article” this week “Playing With Fear” with Donald Trump, Marine Le Pen, and Victor Orban on the cover. The drawings represented them with ugly folds of fat hanging from their swollen faces, below their arrogant, hostile gazes.

This was a strange mix: Orban is the solidly elected Prime Minister of Hungary, in power since 2010. When he decided to protect Hungary’s borders, a few months ago, much less than the USA or Britain does, his popularity jumped up (to around 50% approval), but media such as The Economist lambasted him.

Marine Le Pen, a lawyer, head and founder of France’s modern National Front, and an elected European MP, is the major female politician in Europe (and Marine Le Pen is not to the right of Margaret Thatcher: so why does The Economist hates her so? Because the National Front is hostile to the international plutocratic world order? With Marine Le Pen in power, no more “austerity”?).

In the elections of December 13, 2015, the National Front, opposed by all and everybody, gained 300 elected representatives in the regions of France.

Anti-Nationalism, Or The Mood Of Hating The Natives Until Their Self-Genocide:

Some claim that anybody which prefers the natives over the aliens is bad, and smacks of an inferior moral sort. This is a curious mood. One would think that the fear of aliens (“xenophobia”) is not necessarily bad when confronting an invasion by an alien, inimical mood, and strangers harboring it.

Imagine that North America had been ruled by Native governments and they had welcomed aliens there. Say Europeans, bringing an entire civilization and religion to rule and marginalize the Natives. What mood would justify this? A suicidal mood?

The argument can be made that nationalism is an absolute evil. Nationalism is a mood that led to tragedy. In Europe, that argument has merit, considering the Twentieth Century. And those who built Europe rode the mood that nationalism was evil, to the hilt.

However, a central, global government such as that of the European Union, can work against the interest of the European People.

Watch the European Union as it is, carefully: who profits from it most? Most European nations’ citizens are so destitute, that they cannot even reproduce enough to insure the perennity of the local population, the Natives.

The European environment has become so toxic that Europeans cannot afford children, and, or, do not see a future for their children.

Craftily, the powers that be import new populations which can fit in the mold which they prepared better.

Since the crisis of 2008, the USA’s central bank created ten times more money for the economy than the European Central Bank did. Why? Because the constitution of the ECB cares only about the value of money, not the value of the economy. There again, a few profit, and the Natives are invited to unemployment.

There was a dramatic case of a central government working against the interest of the population: the Roman State of the Late Empire. Obsessed by the mood of not taxing the hyper rich, and by the mood of imposing a Christian apocalypse, the central government made treaties with a succession of invaders, and that led to the near complete collapse of central governance, invasions, collapse of economy, law, society, demography.

What is alien is not necessarily superior, and should not be systematically welcome over the interest of the Natives. Actually the United Nations Charter recognizes explicitly the primacy of the Natives over invasive aliens.

So who profits with the mood that aliens are always to be preferred to natives? Well, those who want to exploit, steal, disposes, spoil the natives, and make them powerless, obviously. Thus international, global plutocracy, master of media everywhere, is the one which props the mood that aliens are most sacred and natives most spoiled and morally dubious, especially when they feel they should improve their condition. OK, enough of these sad songs, as Ludwig Van said:

Optimistic Change Of Mood On Climate:

Optimism on the CO2 crisis is justified because:

1) The accord was adopted unanimously. Laurent Fabius, president of the Conference, said he had the accord in front of him, asked, solemnly, in the last-minute, whether any of the 195 delegates, and other in the assistance of thousands, had any objection. He said he heard none. Then he said the accord was accepted.

So exit the mood of CO2 denialism, forever. First UNIVERSAL change of mood.

Second UNIVERSAL change of mood: it’s agreed that one should stick as much as possible to 1.5 degree Centigrade. Thus the crisis is officially worse than even scientists said a few weeks ago. (This will allow scientists to dare tell the truth much more.)

Third, the climate accord is an important step ahead in world government, because of the gravity of the matter and the unanimous embrace of a giant, philosophical embrace of progress and altruism (countries such as Russia, Canada, profit from the CO2 crisis, long term, so they were most reasonable).

Now lots of work has to be done. And the mood of anger has to be called to bear as needed if things don’t move. For example the USA tried to sabotage the accord at the last moment. Everybody bent over backwards to please the world’s richest country, as the USA used it’s usual blackmail, exactly the same as in the 1990s, under Clinton. But the French were ready: they had a significant ally, China. Second Germany can’t get away with coal craziness, and should present a plan out of that immediately. And so on.

Next year the COP 22 is in Morocco, which has Africa’s greatest wind farm, and the world’s greatest solar farm… And works in close collaboration with France and Spain…

The regional elections in France demonstrated a significant advance of the National Front. However, it was blunted by a superb coalition of all plutocratic powers and its obsequious servants: all the media including The Economist, to all the politicians, from the European Parliament, to the French “right” and the French “left” conspired to brandish the National Front as treacherous, the bane of civilization.

But what is a civilization sick enough, that it cannot even reproduce itself?

A contradiction in adjecto: something that will disappear. Merkel, leader of Germany, in her despair, accepted more than a million refugees in 2015, because Germany’s population, once 83 millions is now only 79. And what did the wonderful socialists who lead France do? Reduce financial support to families with many children. It is as if they were scared that there are too many French citizens. The same syndrome is all over Europe, so the population of the Natives in many countries is collapsing.

The mood in Europe is going to get much uglier, because only this will allow to move in the right directions, and those are antagonistic to what people have been conditioned to believe by the powers that be.

Burning Fossil Fuels Unifies World In Paris

December 12, 2015

Paris Climate Conference Conclusion: Limit to 1.5 Degree C

This is an important step forward: the admission that the situation is much worse than anticipated, and that the global temperature rise should be limited much more. Three quarters (¾) of CO2 comes from fossil fuel combustion.

The accord is “juridiquement contraignant” said the French Foreign minister, Fabius, an ex-PM, and president of the conference. Fabius has more gravitas than the French president himself. The latter came at the end of the conference to insist that the accord, after so much work, had to be juridically constraining.

Let’s hope the U.S. Congress does not die laughing, it would be replaced by some representatives, just the same, and even worse. The problem with the European colony in North America, is that it does not know yet the wisdom which an utter catastrophe would visit upon it.

More Than 100 Heads Of States in Paris Unify For Progress

More Than 100 Heads Of States in Paris Unify For Progress

France, its institutions, people, and history, oral or not, have known more than twenty utter catastrophes in the last five centuries alone, thus, much of what defines France got much wiser.

Seven years ago, I insisted that “2 C Is Too Much”. I am happy that this viewpoint has been adopted by the 195 countries gathered in Paris.

The anti-civilization, pro-apocalyptic terrorists sent by the worshippers of Muhammad, contributed to make all delegates from the 195 countries work much harder. “This [accord on CO2 crisis] demonstrates the strength of the French nation and makes us Europeans all proud of the French nation,” said Miguel Arias Cañete, the European Union’s commissioner for energy and climate action.

Why is France special that way? Because France is historically the strongest state in Europe, the only one arrogant, strong enough to declare itself an empire of its own… Eleven (11) centuries ago! It then was decided the French king was “emperor in its own kingdom”… and let the rest of the Renovated Roman Empire find its own way alone. Ultimately, that separation, this sort of apartheid, was no wise, as French and Germans got alienated to each other, bringing a millennium of war. This had to be remedied, and has been remedied now, with the (still very imperfect) construction of the European Union.

But that does not mean that the strength of the French state should be diluted inside the European Union (the same holds for Britain, the other part of France). Instead Europe has to amplify French strength (something the Germans presently agree to). Use France as a point, a Spitze (excellent German word), to forge ahead. This is exactly what happened at the climate conference (and the same Spitze will hopefully transpierce fatally the Islamist State).

My reasoning for insisting that the temperature rise should be limited to less than two degrees centigrade was simple: if GLOBAL temperatures went up to 2 degrees Centigrade (“Celsius”), the rise of temperature in the polar regions may be as much as much as ten degree C, and the resulting catastrophe would send the climate back to the all too balmy Jurassic, and its omnipresent shallow seas, probably for the next 50,000 years.

A Jurassic planet could be interesting in many ways (wheat growing in Antarctica, extensive forests there, and all over the coldest lands, except for high mountains). However, short term, switching to the warm Jurassic would lead to severe disruptions, and could even bring the greatest wars ever.

On the other hand, cynics may notice, 195 nations worked hard, for years, for that Paris Climate Conference. And it’s not over: the next COP (Conference of the Parties) is next year in Morocco (more or less a willing vassal of France). 195 countries came to agree that burning fossil fuels will have to stop soon in Paris. Now it has to be enforced. That is feasible, only if much more research and development of new science and technologies is pushed worldwide. Just pushing around money will not change anything, as the fable of the self-regulation of “free markets” is an important contributor to the CO2 crisis, the climate crisis, the pollution crisis, and the extinction crisis.

In other words, 195 countries came to agree that massive scientific, thus philosophical, progress should be the law of the world.

This is major. It changes the mood towards more world government, in a very positive way. As the Qur’an itself recognizes, and the Romans long knew, war can unify a people against a common enemy. Our common enemy here is the habit of burning fossil fuels, launched by Neanderthals in… France, more than 70,000 years ago. It was good while it lasted, but life is never the eternal returning of the same (contrarily to what Hinduism and its parrot Nietzsche affect to believe).

Instead, at some point, we have to “step forward” (this is what progress means, from the Latin “gradus”, a step, and pro, forward).

Inspecting history, we see that ecological constraints were one of the main factors in conflicts. It’s good to see that 195 countries also understand this, now.
