Wars, Peace, Love And Hate: Not So Easy. Ignorance is the Real Enemy.

February 29, 2020

Masters of war, you can buy all, but a soul!… So say the Masters of Peace, and Love.

They admonish, puff their chests.

Their goodness is obvious to see,

Their glory immense: they, and their sponsors, make sure of that.
Nobels are given to them, universal applause,
And they crisscross the globe,
In their private jets, five star hotels, they are celebrities

Lauded by the powers that be,

Who also from the peace of established order not just profit…

But Thrive…

Too much peace, has allowed those Masters of Hypocrisy to prosper.

Should they even exist?
We hear them all, and we sneer at their self-flagellating admirers.
We sneer at the hypocrisy,
Of the Masters of Peace, Love…

But that’s how they live, why they live, how they earn their prerogatives.

Their main job is to lie about how they arose.
Or should we sneer more at the ignorance of their followers?
Where was Peace, when the Nazis prepared to kill millions? In plain sight, for all to see? The US plutocratic media, the famed New York Times, didn’t peep a word all could see. They deliberately hid what their “peace” profited from.
What was pacifism doing, When infamy was sharpening the laws it uses as claws?
Where would the Masters of Peace and Love be,
Without the wars,
Which made their present wanton exploitation of resources possible?
Where would the Masters of Ignorance rule?
Certainly not in the Americas, Wealthiest in the world.
Certainly not in Australia, or the Pacific.
And, if they are Jews, Jewish,
Descendants thereof, however secular,
They would not even exist,
If ten million Germans had not been killed.
Because France took measures to forcefully oppose Hitler,
As early as 1933,
And opposed Hitler’s ally Stalin, and fascist Mussolini, Hirohito,
So one hundred million died:
It was too little, too late, because the USA perfidiously,
Stayed out, until after the longest time,

Knowing all too well, that only thus the American Century would come.
Thanks to the Masters of Peace.
France went to war, alone, with a little help from Britain,
To spare billions of lives, and civilization.

Britain didn’t surrender, the fascists mistrusted each other,

And finally the US consented to lend, lease, then kidnap victory.
Yet, war for civilization doesn’t always win.
Theodosius Thessalonica decree, 380-381 CE: from then on, Apostates could be killed at will,

The mass murderous Catholic Inquisition was born, the State would die from it.
We still live with Theodosius, it’s called Sharia,
A direct descendant,
And civilization nearly collapsed,
When the Roman State deflated, so did demography.
Arbogast, the Franks, the Western Army,
Secularism, were destroyed at the Frigidus Battle,
which threw the spell, the hurricane, divine wind of the evil sort,
Of killing in the name of “God”,
To this day, more than 16 centuries later.

The valor of blonde Franks was not enough to destroy Theodosius’ Goths, Huns, and Alans, when the divine wind blew in their face. When the world turned wrong, the wind rose as a hurricane, the forces of secularism lost to the barbarian army of the mass murdering Catholic tyrant [1].

War is good. Sometimes.

Sometimes it is even crucial. And no cruciality was ever won without war. There are many types of war, but the attitude and neurohormones don’t change.

This is what the Masters of Peace don’t want you to remember:

No war-like effort, no real progress.

Even Islam knows this: Jihad, a war-like effort, is a moral command.

No Revolution, No Evolution.

And no evolution doesn’t just mean no progress, it means global death.

Love is good. Most of the time. Yet, not always. Come on, you Masters of Peace. What is this peace you rest on, but for the product of war?The product of countless wars? Wars of most determined good against the most absolute evil. Don’t deny the heroes who built the ground you stand on, and the furious angels who cleared the air.

Newer and better values always replaced or threatened old oligarchies which were not compatible with them, and rested on their opposite. Newer and better peace was always born out of war. Yes, now we have to fight a virus which looks like a crown. Another war.

Come on you, Masters of Stasis. You want to stay still, while the universe moves below your feet, you claim.

The world will always move below our feet. It always did, and always will. The world moved when Rome was at her apex, and move away, until Rome collapsed, from mot having moved with it.

The world will move under your own weight, if for no other reason that you are so incredibly heavy, and the heavier, the more you gorge yourself with the planet. You look at the planet, you arrogant monkeys, go play some music on exotic islands where the natives serve you, and they don’t even wear chains, so anxious they are to debase themselves for you: they are perfectly tame from Peace and Love. Here is the president, he is brown, and he serves the pharmaceuticals, the health industry mafia, as Kenyan boys of old did with the white masters. Shameful, wan’t it? And you loved him, because he made you feel so right, overlooking reality, while gorging yourself more than ever, amazed by your “liberalism” (something supposed to mean you are good).

Come on, Masters of Love. You speak of peace, because that addiction to nothingness prevents you from making war on ignorance. Come on, Masters of Woke! What are you waking up to exactly? More drugs for your addicted minds? The war worth most fighting for, is also the love most worth having, the war against ignorance. As from it alone can genuine love spring forth.

War and love you shan’t condone or condemn, just on the color of their skin. One needs to dig deeper. Instead, of their origin and future descendants, portends and moods, true lovers shall enquire. And hope what you may, more than ever. Wisdom from contemplation always, is the only peace worth having, on which tomorrow’s wars, peace and loves will be refined.

Masters of creation out of volition, warring and loving, over the Earth, and soon across the Galaxy, forces that shall go, and always justify, multiverses of better hopes, we shall forge more of what we were born for, and with: limitless appreciation for expanding cognition, especially when they combine to satisfy the most basic wants, which the wise have long learned to corral, and ignore the rest.

REEVALUATION OF ALL VALUES By Coronavirus

February 28, 2020

Desires, values, practice, ways, ideas and feelings are all entangled. Considering the state of the biosphere… collapsing as it is, a reevaluation is all values is required.

To avoid future, otherwise ineluctable megadeath: please humanity, gain gravitas.

No, COVID19 will not cause ultimate megadeath: the coronavirus is just a warning (following SARS, MERS, and Ebola, all aslo coronaviruses), COVID19 may cause dozens of millions of dead (HIV killed 35 millions, so far…), but that’s not billions. A full collapse of the biosphere and attendant human civilization would kill billions. Now this can all be avoided by changing our present ways… and desires.

We have long said that what is happening would happen… Much of the world GDP is consumed by useless consumption. Plastic all over, most travel useless. Why are business jets subsidized? They emit 1% of US CO2. What is the best way to learn about Florence? The Florentine Republic? Going there? How do you go back seven centuries? By reading intelligent essays about it? Or going there, stuffed like coughing sardines breathing onto each other.

Unrestricted travel was fashionable: people thought knowing of going to the other side of the world to go to a place one was supposed to feel great to have gone to. It could be a beach, a club, a hotel, a city, a wave, a climb, a marathon: there they went on cheap airfare, “private” yet subsidized by governments.

Big meetings, huge stadiums full of gawking, brainless “supporters”. They should support themselves, not multimillionaire players.

Universitarians, again subsidized by governments, going all around the world, sometimes for just one day, to meet and greet each other… Sometimes even in expensive business class (I was direct witness, more than once).

Alaskan Forest hemlock Sawfly damage: parasites occupy forests which are not genetically adapted to them. All these will burn, contributing to world CO2… NONLINEARLY.

All over, when we talk about the biosphere being in a state of collapse under the assault of humanity, reasonable people have been nodding… and changing nothing about their lives, and, more importantly, knowledge base.

We have long said that what is happening would happen… Mutation of all sorts of microbes, viruses, bacteria, mushrooms, parasites going faster than humanity, let alone evolution, could react. But not just this. Sea level rise and ice melting predictions depend upon optimistic hypotheses scientists keen to preserve their careers are anxious not to make. If one goes as pessimistic as possible about sub ice shelf melting by warm currents, and if one predicts that methane hydrates will erupt, then one talks about sea level rise many times greater than the most pessimistic official predictions.

Right, healthcare is the basic human right.

But, in particular, this means that a non-collapsing biosphere is a basic human right too. Much of this collapse is caused by the fact that wealth has had too much power. Not just the wealth of highly visible plutocrats like Bezos, the Walmart family, Bloomberg, etc. The main problem is the less visible wealth of trusts, foundations and influences of heirs which induce universities such as Harvard, and countless “foundations”, and “institutes” to teach or preach an erroneous world picture, from the departments of humanities, english, philosophy, history, economics, etc.

The imposition and inducement of an erroneous world picture happens not just in the USA. Places such as Britain, France or the EU are also rotten through and through: consider the Brexit debate, or the very perplexing attitude of the French elite regarding so-called pedophilia (truly raping children, no love there). Of course the rest of the world tends to be even worse of, and it’s no accident the virus came from China… but the fish rots by the head.

And the erroneous world spirit is not just a question of individuals: replacing the so-called “leaders” would not be enough. Beyond incarnated “leaders”, there are leading feelings, moods and ideas. Most of the MENTAL INERTIA which drove Nazism, was fully in force, before Hitler’s grandmother was employed by a wealthy Jew.

COVID 19 is another little warning. It’s still a disaster we can do something about. If Antarctica collapses, or LOW fails[1], that will be another story… Then there will be little we can do… Aside from Armageddon like solutions [2].

[2] So, besides increasing military budgets of the permanent members of the UNSC (who keep the peace)… What can we do? We can, and should, redeploy the economy is a way which promotes the survival of civilization.  So we need more research in what reality was, and is. Thus revisiting history… and not just the face of well-known fascist regimes such as Lenin’s, Stalin’s, Hitler’s, Mussolini’s etc…. But also the real forces behind them. We should also push science and teaching as much as possible.

FUNDAMENTAL REASON FOR DEMOCRACY: BETTER THINKING

February 26, 2020

It’s never optimal for a society when a small oligarchy is in command, monopolizing power and knowledge. Arguably, it’s even diabolical, and it’s exactly what “plutocracy” means.
Arguably, monopolizing power and knowledge is even diabolical. This is exactly what the concept of “plutocracy” means. Being ruled by such oligarchies is tightly connected to civilization, which provides with the power, and the Dark Side, the evil, self-inflicted divinity, which has always, counterintuitively, keeps humanity in check.

As the world is now a village, a village with many ways and weapons of mass destruction, any subdistrict of the village living under dictatorship is bad for the rest of the village. Evil and incompetence can’t be isolated. Anymore.

A recent example? The Chinese dictatorship delayed the alert on the danger of the coronavirus COVID 19 by at least one month relative to what would have happened if the pandemic had started in an advanced democracy… And Chinese dictatorship employees actively suppressed whistleblowers with advanced medical knowledge, who tried to alert authorities and public about the danger. This certainly caused the death of thousands and impacted severely the world’s economy (causing in turn more death and destruction!)

To defeat the enemy, one has to know the enemy. And a world without enemies can’t exist, because our opportunity creates them, whether we like it, or not.

Ignorance comes from not knowing facts. In the most acute form, ignorance crystallizes itself by clinging to dogma: a rigid set of beliefs is supposed the know-all, be-all, can-all. This is what happens with any tribalism or religion, even when the religion is the cult of a leader… such as Stalin, or Xi… Or G W. Bush, invading Iraq.

Ignorance is never safe. Secrecy can rarely be justified on the part of those entrusted with power. Generally secrecy fosters the grip of those in power helping them to keep their power… And sometimes those who love power so much will do anything not just to keep that power, but to exact vengeance on all others alive, in the name of their reduced fate, should their power wane (Hitler’s obstinacy to kill as many as he could as long as he could is a striking example of such madness).

We are now a world village. Such a village has been increasing enforced since 1945, thanks to the United Nations and its enforcers. We want to keep it that way. Increasing democracy, by sharing knowledge and power is how to do so.

Our primary objective should be to make the world safer and better for all, and that requires debating well, to find better solutions. And debating optimally requires optimal information. Also debating everybody with everybody gives their chance to the most unexpected ideas, the more people take part in it. This capability, getting ideas from all over, to enrich debates maximally is the deepest, most fundamental reason for democracy. The more democracy, the more a people is forced to learn to think by itself, including forced to learn how one suspects, and gathers the most important facts. Once again, it’s not just a matter of choice, national preference, but of safety of spaceship Earth we all live on.

PERVERSITY of BAD, Mad GLOBALIZATION: Proof By Coronavirus

February 25, 2020

Plutocracy can kill children, massively:

I was reading a (fictionalized) round-up of Jewish children in France during World War Two; the SS ordering, and forcing the French police to raid orphanages of mostly foreign, mostly Jewish children. I know the subject all too well. It’s one of the rare subjects I find hard to read about (my family really saved real Jewish children, and I heard the stories as a child).

This has of course everything to do with evil-rule, pluto-kratia: Germany was ruled by evil and the problem was the German soul, which tolerated this all too much.

I am not trying to compare China to Nazi Germany… and I am not even advocating that China would not be ruled by the Communist Party… simply real free elections and free media should exist there (but neither really exist in the West, in full, especially the media, as Trump Derangement Syndrome amply proved).

However, a fact remains: Nazism was a form of plutocracy, and it was rendered possible by global, mostly US based plutocracy (and yes, FDR was on it, whether he admitted it to himself or not!) Another fact, even more important is that the leverage of evil at our disposal now is much greater than in 1933… Right, the progress we have now is that the good guys, namely the good dominant cultures of 1945 and their military arms, are in control of the planet now, through the UN Security Council…

It’s nevertheless extremely important to understand that plutocracy has absolutely no limits: the bottom line is that it rests on the instinct which views the solution of all the world’s problem in the annihilation of the human race. Nazism is a perfect illustration of this. Those who didn’t understand this, didn’t understand Nazism… or plutocracy, pushed to its limit: global, deliberate, most cruel death, defined as the very essence of divinity. Yes, the definition of criminal insanity. And how humanity got it done (to use Bloomberg’s revealing slogan) [1].

This is a small part of the Bronze Age Collapse events. For example, we know from Egyptian sources that the “Sea People” invasions came from the Mediterranean islands (Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, etc.), but also from the Black Sea (they had conspired said Pharaoh Ramses III). A tremendous drought preceded, to the point the Hiites asked Egypt, earlier their main enemy, for grain shipments… an early example of international, global aid… We have the letters… Egypt helped. But then the Sea People invaded and destroyed everything. Egypt barely stopped them. The etruscans first invaded Syria, before navigating en masse to where the Iron was, between Elba and Tuscany… Centuries before the village known as Rome was created…The Bronze Age collapse seems to have been propelled by natural disasters (we are working hard on the greatest “natural” disaster in 66 million years right now)… Followed opportunistically by massive war fruit of a Nazi-like conspiracy (which mostly worked, 32 centuries ago!) What do I mean? When the Hittite empire got extremely weakened by drought, it could be militarily destroyed by the “Sea People” conspiracy (I didn’t make up those words and concept, Pharaoh did, 32 centuries ago…)

When Globalization Serves Plutocracy First, It’s Real Bad:

The rise of China served China, but would not have happened, without serving the West’s plutocrats. To some extent, the entire “West” (including Japan, Taiwan) did with China what the US plutocracy did with Germany after World War One.

Just as Germany, and especially Nazi Germany, was a dream boat for US plutocracy, a wild east where everything was permitted, as long as one pleased the dictatorship, so was China a dreamboat for global Western plutocracy.

The USA Deep State and Deep Political Culture was hell bent to create a world empire, and part of that hell was the hellish USSR, or hellish Germany, 1914-1945. At least, so I claim. The Harriman brothers, hereditary plutocrats who led the “Democratic” Party by the nose for decades, got maximally decorated by both Hitler and Stalin (the latter for developing the crucial Caucasian and Baku oil fields…)

Coronavirus is a ‘game changer’ for seeing the truth about the sort of globalisation we have been suffering from:

The French economy and finance minister so declared. The new coronavirus is a “game changer” that will require a rethink in global supply networks, especially for health and medicine, he said.

The coronavirus epidemic is a game changer for globalisation,” Bruno Le Maire said during a visit to Athens, noting that the outbreak has highlighted an “irresponsible and unreasonable” reliance on China. “We cannot continue to rely on China for 80 to 85 percent of pharmaceutical active ingredients“… Lemaire said, pointing out what I viewed as obvious for two decades…

***

Good Globalization was crucial to the rise of civilization:

A casual look at the world shows that civilization was centered on centers of trade, and especially the Middle Earth, where the two largest continents collide, and the “Central State” (China). Those two areas have also traded, not just goods but also people for four millennia as civilizations… West Eurasian mummies were found in Western China, and they carried civilizational elements (horses, metallurgy, jade tech). More deeply, even, way back, when Denisovans were running the show, more than 50,000 years ago, they were found from Spain to east of the Wallace line (Australia).

Clearly globalization is very old, much older than civilization itself. It is not different from long range trade. There is evidence of the latter before even the Neolithic in Australia. Different parts of the world had different resources, and those could only be traded. Thus globalization was more important for prehistoric people than for modern people: if one didn’t live in a region with obsidian, flint, or even stones, one had to trade them.

***

Globalization can collapse in mayhem:

The usual civilizational mayhem to roll out is the collapse of the Roman State, under the invasions from Germans, Huns, Muslims… But there was another collapse, roughly two millenia prior… In the same area.

The Bronze Age Middle Earth civilization was a globally trading world… it collapsed suddenly around 32 centuries ago (from a number of simultaneous factors: drought, quakes, and a vast conspiracy by the “People of the Sea”, bringing devastating wars of invasion…)

It is never nice when nations move over and replace others: examples are legions, the Sea People invasion the first historical case of wholesale replacement…

The formation of world-empires by European nations came in several shades of sadistic grey: from nearly innocent white in the formation of French colonies such as Canada, India and in Africa, to the darkest black with the conquest of Congo by the Belgian King. The conquest of Central and South America by Spain was a strange mix of deliberate massacres and unvoluntary holocaust. The re-invention of slavery, or quasi-slavery by European colonists (

Or was it when the USA stealthily took control of Germany after World War One? More like the latter case.

When did globalization start then? Was it when Phoenicia founded Carthage, nearly 3,000 years ago, or later when Carthage imported fish from Senegal? Or when Athens became dependent of the Black Sea shores for her wheat? Was it when Rome imported silk from China? Was it when Europe created gigantic empires overseas? Or was it when refrigeration was invented and ships could bring frozen mutton to Britain from Australia and New Zealand? Or was it when the French government taught the USA how to mass produce the 75mm gun France depended upon in World War One? (France’s resources were overstretched).

When globalization started is not the most significant question: it had to be as old as humanity. The most significant question is when does globalization turn perverse? As when the Mongols submitted Russia, or annihilated Baghdad, with the help of their Christian allies

***

Dependency On China Makes Much Evil Sense… for Global Plutocrats:

Aside from blatant dictatorship, nowadays China doesn’t have anything the “West” doesn’t have… Indeed, Constantinople learned to make silk in the Sixth Century. Other Chinese inventions had equivalents in the West (as for porcelain), or were quickly duplicated and improved (gunpowder, deep drilling for gas). All the other things China has now (such as “rare” earths) are mostly due to Western laziness.

Globalization made sense for China, as China became the world’s factory, thus creating a dependency similar to that of a drug trafficker to drug addict. Globalization made sense for plutocrats, as it enabled them to escape the world’s most advanced taxation and legislation, ensuring huge profits for all plutocrats.

So now we are in a situation where much of drugs and equipment to fight a pandemic made in China are made in China. How smart was that? Not smart, but following the orders of crafty plutocrats owning all media, thus all hearts and minds of the bleating sheep.

Want more stupid attitudes which the future will contradict? What about predicting only a two meter sea rise by 2100? With a rise of temperatures of ten degrees Centigrade in Antarctica?

The planet is one global spaceship. North Korea closed its border to… its sponsor, China. Iran got infected, and because of Shiite holy tourism, spread the disease around, although, in theory, Iran was pretty much isolated… If it’s one global spaceship, it means the global plutocracy is a global problem. Global plutocracy weaponized China… to the point the global health response to global disease is globally impaired.

It’s high time to weaponize democracy against plutocracy.[2]

Does Placidity Elevate Always? Hell No! On Spinoza’s Slumber

February 23, 2020

Do Cows Have Higher Minds? Spinoza’s Philosophy Condemned For Apathy

A famous leitmotiv of Baruch de Spinoza: “Man soll die Welt nicht belachen nicht beweinen sondern begreifen”. The quote (originally in Latin) is from his Tractatus theologico-politicus. English translation: “one should neither laugh at nor lament the world, but only understand it.” That sentiment has been much lauded, by those who want to feel elevated. It’s wrong in more ways than one.

Spinoza’s idea is that one would not associate the world with negativism, or positivism, tragedy or comedy, but just, well, understand it. Thus one would avoid categorizing, prejudice, bias, etc. which reminds us to avoid the tendency to categorize and judge other people or ideas (as if there was a different way of thinking than categorizing and judging stuff).

Instead, Spinoza calls for an openness to learning, akin to what Jane Addams called “affectionate interpretation” in A modern Lear, her (flawed) interpretation of the lethal plutocratic events in Chicago in 1894. There was a strike, strikers were executed in a plutocratic plot, plutocrats won. Around 30 workers were murdered by railroad agents and their allies. Conveniently Ms. Addams depicts the malefactors as in need of “affectionate interpretation”. Quick! A Nobel Prize!

Jane Addams: “good citizens actively pursue knowledge of others—not just facts but a deeper understanding—for the possibility of caring and acting on their behalf.” Depict suspected criminal against humanity Joe Biden, telling us “I don’t think 500 billionaires are the reason we’re in trouble. The folks at the top aren’t bad guys…billionaires are actually nice guys”.

Addams was famous for “Hull House”. Co-founder Ellen Gates Starr said of Jane Addams, “if the devil himself came riding down Halsted Street with his tail waving out behind him, [Jane Addams would say] what a beautiful curve he had in his tail.” Of course, Addams, as a good agent of plutocratic affectionate understanding, got the Nobel Peace prize in 1931 (she had also advanced “colored” people, etc…)

The idea is often attributed to HARVARD professor Santayana … probably because Hardwart is so superior. Actually Santanaya didn’t hide Spinoza’s influence on himYes, well, sometimes, the best citizens line up their U.S. Navy Dauntless dive bombers on that gigantic red sun on the yellow decks of the Akagi and Kaga plunging and waiting until the last second to drop their 1,000 pound bombs. In five minutes three large Japanese aircraft carriers from Pearl Harbor were on fire, shaken by explosions, and their elite aircrews were roasting… never to be replaced, as Japan, differently from the USA, didn’t have the plane-smart manpower, and gasoline, to train replacement aviators.

Affectionate interpretation” as an advanced intellectual doctrine should have stopped long before it led to Auschwitz. The moral imperative is the exact opposite, when in doubt.

Now Baruch (“Blessed” in Hebrew) Spinoza had reason to play the passion-less violin, in times when people were executed for opinion on a routine basis by fascist autocrats such as Louis XIV, the Pope, the catholic Inquisition, and countless lesser tyrants throughout Europe. So, I excuse Spinoza, then. But I don’t excuse the same benevolent attitude to the world, now. Although I do use benevolence on a routine basis, I don’t make a religion of it. Actually, I made a religion of overruling it.

Some view this method as the way to reject dogma and insist on reason. One couldn’t be more mistaken… A proof, as usual, was the apathy with which German Jews received Hitler: they got too busy trying to understand Hitler… affectionately, for the best. Thus they became not just victims, bt his accomplices

The quote (originally in Latin) is from his Tractatus theologico-politicus, but the general idea recurs throughout his Ethics. It’s actually not so much a “should” as it is Spinoza’s attempt to describe his own method–what he’s endeavored to do through his philosophy.

Friedrich Nietzsche picks up on Spinoza’s method in The joyful wisdom (aka, “The Gay Science”, La Gaya Scienza). He emphasizes that the issue is not to replace emotions with reason, but actually to realize that reason grows from the emotions (hence their name, hey!):

“What does Knowing Mean? Non ridere, non lugere, neque detestari, sed intelligere! says Spinoza, so simply and sublimely, as is his wont. Nevertheless, what else is this intelligere ultimately, but just the form in which the three other things become perceptible to us all at once? A result of the diverging and opposite impulses of desiring to deride, lament and execrate? Before knowledge is possible each of these impulses must first have brought forward its one-sided view of the object or event.”

Nietzsche is right, and Spinoza (whom he admired), at best, naive. Spinoza tried to deny our psychological motivation, as if intelligence was a castle in the air. Instead the deep emotions are the groundwork, the foundations, of logic. This is what Nietzsche noticed. Amusingly, René Descartes, contrarily to repute given by some cheap US author (Demasio), was not like Spinoza at all: Descartes was very aware, when constructing its magnificent advance in mathematics, of the psychological reasons to do so (I read the originals). To achieve constructive understanding was more satisfying he said, and thus he proceeded to make mathematics which could do so.

Spinoza was a great philosopher. To do so, he had to keep on polishing lenses (that killed him), refusing a belated university job. He had his reasons, that the times forced on him. He lived in a time where tyrants ruled Europe, and the world. The choice for free spirit was to be burned alive in Europe…many printers were, a century earlier, even in France:… or being eaten alive in the Pacific (no refrigeration!)

Nowadays, though, we have no excuses. The likes of Obama and the plutocratic leaders of the world dare say we need leaders, but, in truth, we need to be led by the best ideas, and that means the best cognition, no secrecy a la Xi. In that direction our moral trajectory curves.

Those trains of thought which advocate to collaborate with evil from “affectionate interpretation” should be rejected, so should Spinoza’s official lack of understanding upon how his mind worked. .

REMORSE: When WILL To TRUTH Bites Back

February 20, 2020

Abstract: Many human emotions make sense when analyzed in the context of humanity’s purpose… which is to establish truth. Humans are truth machines.

Where does this strong emotion, remorse come from? From the Will to Truth, and, more specifically the will to moral truth. Remorse entices humans to obsess So remorse is a good thing, a teaching attitude. Individuals and societies should practice it more.

***

Emotions Such As Remorse, Which Ground Morality, Are Grounded In The Last Billion Years:

Morality, considered in its most fundamental way, is revealed to be a neurological, a neurogenetical (in the sense of genesis) aptitude to manage optimally the ways which enable the survival of the species… This neuroethics is more or less automatically inherited (in ways science has not fully elucidated yet… but research as deployed here should help). Automatic systems such as walking: when one has two legs, one ends up walking on them, as long as one is in “human” circumstances (that is not stuffed in a small cage; having other walking humans around helps).

Thus, all and any trait of fundamental moral etiology is grounded in the old ways of our ancestors, some living hundreds of millions of years. A lot of our neurological biochemistry works so well, it has not changed since our fishy ancestors.
***

WHAT IS REMORSE?

The feeling of remorse consists more specifically in deep regret or guilt for a moral wrong committed. Morality (from “mores”, the old ways in Latin) is what insures group survival[1]. For example, the Nazis violated the old ways, the mores, so at least 8.5 million Germans died (that was about 10% of all Germans) [2].

So remorse addresses wrongs against the ways which insure group survival. Remorse is the motivation, the spur for much truth seeking of a social nature

***

An Example: Afghan Remorse:

The USA has been officially at war in Afghanistan for 18 years, the longest US war, ever. In truth, the order of attack was given on July 3, 1979, by “Democratic” president Jimmy Carter. The cynical excuse to justify the attack was to harass the Soviets, allied to the Republic of Afghanistan with Muslim Fundamentalists (the true reason, laying below, was even more sinister…. It was to insure no Franco-Russian sphere of co-prosperity would grow in Central Asia).

But that immoral war, initially launched, by Carter, for the indefensible reasons, in the most abject way (advise Muslim Fundamentalists to attack schools for girls)…  is not the subject of this essay. Instead the subject of remorse is.

From the New York Times: “My Friend Lives Inside the War on Terror. Listen to Him.”

“A moment of moral reckoning came when Specialist Murphy had to conduct a body cavity search of a college professor who could barely walk without a cane, during his prison intake for some unknown crime.

“And here I was in my United States Army uniform and here was this very sensitive looking grandfather-type guy, and just the … I don’t know. It kind of was one of those moments where I was just taken aback and I just was affected.”

All the while there were nightly mortar attacks. Rockets, too. There were ambushes at the gate and explosives on the roads.

But MORAL INJURY — the damage to the soul caused by participating in something unjust — has a wide blast radius for anyone with a conscience. The ambiguity of military operations since 9/11 are fertile ground for moral injury. Average Americans may feel guilt or shame for the conduct of the war on terrorism — the pardoning of war criminals or the indefinite jailing, without trial, of men at Guantánamo or the civilian casualties caused by drone strikes — but it can be devastating for those who are a part of it.

To keep from being desensitized, he told me, he resolved to learn all his prisoners’ names and listen to all the questions they had for him during the twice-daily head counts.”

Moral injury? A good concept, because it reflects reality. Human beings are made prone to moral injury, so they can be hurt, and, hence, learn from it.

SEARCH FOR TRUTH REQUIRES REHASHING THE PAST:

Human beings with a normally functioning mental machinery tend to relive past events and to regret their actions. Some sneer that it’s useless to relive the past. But of course, if such were the case, all literature would be of no interest and be gone. Besides, we would never examine our lives, thus, according to Socrates, would not have lives worth living.

Less amusingly, and more fundamentally, if we didn’t revisit the past, we would learn nothing as learning consists into backtracking over what one thought one knew, finding all the inputs which preceded the errors, and proceed to the probable truth by systematic elimination of failing logic or bad data. Those who can’t revisit the past, can’t learn. When one can’t learn, one may suspect it has to do with inability to revisit the past.

Some call learning by trial, error, and rehashing what went wrong, the “scientific method”, insinuating “science” is new. We the smarties have been doing science for 500 million years, it’s our home. Humans, who are truth machines, do much more of science than our beastly ancestors. Thus we thrive from much more equity seeking and remorse… among other apparently weird, very human behaviors.

WW 2 Hirohito riding proud with fellow criminal army idiots

An Example of Insufficient Remorse: Japan

Japan declared war to all of South East Asia in a period of half a century, concluded by the two atomic explosion, and the immediate threat of a third atomic strike. The Japanese invasions killed up to 50 million people, most of them civilians. By contrast, Japan suffered around 2.5 million dead… most of them Japanese troops which died of starvation. US bombings of Japan, conventional or not, killed less than 700,000… Thus, however horrifying the death toll was for Japan, it’s not commensurate to the death toll Japan inflicted to the the rest of the world… And in particular Korea, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia (to put the aggressed countries in chronological order).

Germany, starting in 1945, recognized its crimes against humanity, through remorse which brought genuine atonement (see below; atonement took decades: top Nazis like von Manstein stayed influential for decades, preventing recognition of the German resistance against Hitler).

As he was preparing his 1952 speech at a ceremony to commemorate Japan’s return to independence with the end of the U.S. occupation, Hirohito insisted that he “must include the word remorse”. Hirohito was in excellent position to express “remorse” as he was nominally in charge. Hirohito felt that, instead of surrender, he wished he had been able to end the war earlier. He also privately expressed horror at the atrocities committed by the Japanese military, according to the documents. But he also said that the military was so powerful that he couldn’t influence it.

Hirohito wish to express remorse was relayed to then-Prime Minister Shigeru Yoshida, who advised against it. However, since then, the present Japanese emperor, grandson of Hirohito, has expressed “deep remorse”. However these things take time to percolate down throughout society. The switch of Japan from nuclear to massive coal, presently underway with the complicity of Australia, shows that Japanese remorse doesn’t go far enough yet.

More of the same Hirohito riding high. The problem with such plutocrats is that they ride on hubris, and with hubris they blind the peasants. Clearly the imperial position, symbol of hubris, per se, should be cancelled in Japan (in China too: they justify each other…

EQUITY BRINGS TRUTH:

Experiments have shown monkeys attach an overwhelming importance to truth: submitted to unfair situations, they can cut the Gordian Knot by attacking the experimenter. Why is equity so important to primates? Because being just insures the survival of the group, by making sure they all get taken care enough. Thus one would expect all social animals with intelligent societies to have a developed sense of equity. There is some evidence of this with, say, lions, wolves, hyenas.

Now equity has the equal sign therein: before having some equity, one needs to have some truth (to find out what’s equal; hence the power of equations!) Without truth, no equity. Conversely, much truth is socially, culturally derived (monkeys and apes don’t discover all by themselves foods and pharmaceuticals in the forest: they learn it from their parents, elders…). So equity and truth are entangled.

Atonement is Jewish, Remorse, French:

Remorse is often conceptually entangled with “atonement”, particularly in the USA, of course… Atonement is any change of attitude to create unity, to make many “at one” (at-one-ment).    In other words, “atonement” is a more primitive form of psychology than true remorse. To survive, the monkeys need to be “at one” (Latin adunare “unite,” from ad “to, at” (see ad-) + unum “one.”). Atonement is tribal, something monkeys and other advanced social animals (say wolves) have plenty of practice, to constitute the group which will allow them to live.

Unity is most major in the USA, otherwise they would have none (since Americans are immigrants who came from all over the world, the US traditions use every possible tricks to create unity). Translating “Day of Atonement” gives Yom Kippur in Hebrew, the most sacred celebration of the Jews.

In a country such as France, an old instinct says that survival comes from mental diversity, not “atonement”.  Indeed, France got its unity from diversity! (Now Britain and the USA, descendant states from France are also ruled by that notion… historically to a lesser extent, but they caught up…)

Hence is France atonement is practiced only very reluctantly, to the point that the notion, this side of Vichy, is not even conceptualized…

In a country such as France, one would expect only a fascist government to set-up a day of atonement, repentance, etc. Right, this sort of thing happened in the Middle Ages… Times of great theological fascism and plutocracy, indeed. And that’s precisely why the late Middle Ages have bad press nowadays. Also then, in the Middle Ages, the Pope would go once a year to the Synagogue in Rome and try to persuade the Jews to convert to Catholicism: a fight of universalism, as Catholicism means just that. Catholicism proved more universal than Yom Kippur: there are barely more Jews now than under Rome, whereas the Christo-Islamists have multiplied like rodents (there are more than three billions)… Christo-Islamism expanded, precisely because it celebrated universalism, that it, to some extent, diversity, rather than Jewish atonement, unity as necessary, to plaster over the fragility

True remorse is more specifically human, it rises above the herd to question the lonely conscience. Nostalgia and a capacity to sit away from oneself, let others be, and, more generally, listening to life speaking for itself, are not far behind.

“1917”: HUMAN HEROES AGAINST TRIBAL KILLER ROBOTS… As It happened.

February 18, 2020

What was the fundamental truth of World War One? That civilization was assaulted by tribal barbarians who thought they were civilized.

Because plutocracy has make it so that it is fashionable to believe that the concept of civilization is not fundamental,  this lesson has been forgotten. Yet, the world was organized according to this lesson, if while the Second World War, a continuation of the First, was going on.

The movie “1917” relates a small piece of action in World War One [1]. It features telling contrast between the Democratic Allies and the fascist invaders. The Allies are human, humanistic, heroic, ethnically diverse. The Germans are pretty much depicted as the opposite. And so, indeed, it was.

The story itself may be fiction, but actions similar to it, or even more dramatic, did happen continually during World War One. Some of these played a crucial role. French reconnaissance behind German lines before the Second Battle of the Marne come to mind: exquisite French intelligence helped to win that battle of July 1918, when Germany lost the war… according to its operational commander, Ludendorff. Ludendorff would go on to found the Nazi Party even before Adolf Hitler was assigned by the Bavarian police to spy on it.

French intelligence based on aerial observation gave clear warning of the July 1918 onslaught, designed to occur before the US army’s might could be brought to bear.

The arrogant plume covered peacocks who launched World War First, so that they could preserve their position on top of the planet, exploiting everybody. So they deliberately launched a World War to make preserve their luxury and prerogative. The way they looked at it, if they did it serially, first France, then Russia, then Britain, it could work. (Dictator Kaiser Wilhelm II and his six sons…)

Heroes Can Turn Bad:

The main hero of French reconnaissances behind German lines was warrant officer Joseph Darnand. A reconnaissance patrol of the French Fourth Army, headed by  Darnand, deep behind German lines, in the evening of 14th July 1918, captured twenty-seven (27) German soldiers. Brought back and interrogated, the prisoners revealed the German attack plan for the next day, to the minute… so the French fired 40 minutes before the Germans attacked, disorganizing them, while evacuating the first lines, so the German artillery barrage, when it finally arrived, hit only empty positions. [2]

A dedicated fascist, but Germanophobe, Darnand would become head of the fascist, racist, anti-Jewish French Milice in World War Two. Being Germanophobe, whole fascist, in those times, was a mighty contradiction. Darnand tried three times to join the French resistance, but was rebuffed (because of his racist fascist leanings, trust didn’t flow). Then he turned to full collaboration (finishing with a rank in the SchutzStaffel, the SS!) Captured by the British in Italy, Darnand was brought back to France, sentenced to death on 3 October 1945 and executed by firing squad on 10 October 1945 at the Fort de Châtillon.

My grandfather found himself in a railroad engine, behind German lines at some point, and escaped capture or death by the Huns with a similar jaunt, for three days, through devastated landscape and the no-man’s land. He would be drafted again in WW2, and then joined the Resistance, early on, saving all sorts of fugitives and wanted (by the Nazis) “criminals” (although mostly Jews).

Britain and France Were Ethnically, Thus Mentally Diverse Democracies in 1917:

The “1917” movie represents that some of the British troops were actually… not British, but Commonwealth. That’s entirely correct. Huge contingents of non-ethnically French or British fought in the french and British armies. And they played a crucial role to change mentalities. At the Second battle of the Marne, the french command, may be deliberately, engaged a Senegalese division along the two US, white, divisions. The Senegalese, being all black, hated the very racist Germans, and reciprocally. Neither side was in the habit of making prisoners, when dealing with each other. Inspired by their fierce Black African allies the US troops did just the same: they didn’t focus on making prisoners, either…

The first trench raid appears to have been mounted on the night of 9/10 November 1914 near Ypres by the 39th Garhwal Rifles of the Indian Corps. Fierce irruptions into enemy positions under cover of darkness was a traditional feature of Indian frontier fighting and this first murderous little action may have represented an introduction of tribal military practice into the ‘civilised’ warfare of western armies.

There were so many Indians in the trenches that the British army was asked to supply 10,000 live goats a month to meet the ritual dietary requirements of Indian troops in France.

WW1 Broken German robots resting in eternal peace with the flies among barbed wires, France, 1914… There was no excuse for Germans to take part in a war of aggression in 1914, especially because a few lunatic, despicable plutocrats gave them the order to make their utmost, to take over the world…

OK, as they say, spoilers ahead!

German WW1 Killer Robots obeying plutocrats were the main problem, but the USA made the situation worse, early on:

“1917” correctly represents German invaders as war robots, so proficient at killing, little humanity is left to them: they kill cows, cherry trees, all trees, terrify (French) civilians, and will keep on killing, even when facing certain death if they so persist. A rescued, burning German aviator, rescued at great peril, stabs (to death) his rescuer, and even when hit back by a bullet, is apparently keen for more.

Politically Correct thinking, confronted to such scenes have long pretended that, to depict German invaders as the way they were was unfair, and a misrepresentation of reality. PC thinking insists that there were guns in August (as a famous history book title goes) and they fired, all by themselves, there just too many guns. Nobody’s fault. One should have killed the guns. But, in real life, it’s French guns, especially the 75mm field gun, which killed the war.

Indeed, it’s the PC view which is incorrect. It’s not the “Guns of August” which killed people, inasmuch as the savages who used guns in August to enact exactly the same feat tried again in 1939: win a succession of adversaries at such a fast pace, that they would be destroyed one after the other, and Kaiser Germany would rule the world. In 1914, the trick was to defeat the French Republic before Czarist Russia and Britain could intervene. It failed, because the French counterattack at the battle of the Marne, five weeks later, nearly destroyed the Kaiser’s war machine.

Why the German leaders thought such a lunacy possible as making a world empire for them, had to do with stealth enticement, encouragement and support from the hyper racist US president Wilson. This, I allege, made the difference. The USA provided Germany, through the Netherlands, with enough goods, including military goods, to break the otherwise fatal Franco-British high seas blockade.

Right, you will never read about this, USA as Deus Ex Machina, in official history textbooks as found in, say, Princeton University, where “Democrat” Wilson was president (before he became US president). Wilson was the most racist US president, even more so that the many US presidents who owned slaves. You will never read it, because it puts the entire history of the two “German” instigated world wars (1914-1945) under a completely different light, namely a tool of US plutocratic supremacy, a Deep State agenda…

THE MORAL CODE OF BIG BROTHER KANT ENFORCING ROBOTS VERSUS HUMANITY:

Belgium was more than overrun by the Germanic horde, it was deliberately terrorized to encourage submission. The German robots, under orders, razed Belgian villages and executed villagers—men, women, and children, eventually numbering into the thousands—en masse. Priests, and Nuns, as authority figures and potential symbols of moral resistance, were chosen targets. Outrage was deliberate, as when general Ludendorff, basically founder of the Nazi party, ordered the burning and looting of the famous university town of Leuven/Louvain. Over the course of five days, beginning on 25 August 1914, the Germans pillaged the city. Using petrol and incendiary pastilles. 230,000 volumes were lost in the destruction, including Gothic and Renaissance manuscripts, a collection of 750 medieval manuscripts, and more than 1,000 incunabula (books printed before 1501).

NECESSITY KNOWS NO LAW

The Germans, in their insanity, their Terror Derangement Syndrome, believed they were fighting a war for civilization—for German Kultur against Latin decadence and Slavic barbarism. The highly educated German general staff, having read all the same books and drunk the same wines, had adopted social Darwinist ideas and applied them to the conduct of society (‘plutocracy”) and war (as rule of Evil)

An example: General Friedrich von Bernhardi’s book Germany and the Next War (published in 1911) called war “a biological necessity” in the struggle for existence. He added that war “is not merely a necessary element in the life of nations, but an indispensable factor of culture, in which a true civilized nation finds the highest expression of strength and vitality.

Basically, the entire Kaiser army which invaded France, Belgium and Luxembourg on August 2 1914 (starting without even a war declaration), was an army of war criminals… and acted accordingly. Right, this is a philosophical point of view: yours truly against Immanuel Kant’s grotesque morality.

HUMAN MORALITY WAS EVOLUTIONARILY CREATED:

I found my morality upon basic humanity, our creator, the crown of evolution. Kant found his morality “a priori”. Namely according to what is providing him with everything, the murderously racist Prussian State. Kant concludes that “Duty is the necessity to act out of reverence for the law”. When the law is made by the Kaiser, a crippled mass, war criminal, and certified criminal against humanity (per his racially motivated genocide in Namibia), duty, according to Kant, is then to violate all of humanity. This was exactly SS mass murderer and criminal against humanity Eichman’s line of defense in Jerusalem (the judges, rightly, condemned him to hang… and so should all the followers of that reasoning who practice murder).

Only in August 1914, we have the very well documented proof of hundreds of crimes against humanity committed by the Kaiser’s invading hordes, down to mass murdering nuns, or killing two (2) year old girls. The invasion itself was a crime against humanity, and, just on that ground alone, the Kaiser and his main accomplices should have been judged and executed.

That’s why, when supposedly educated individuals come around, and attribute Auschwitz only to Hitler and his gang of maniacal murderers, they are misinformed: what would come to be called “Nazism” was already fully grown by 1914. Yes, most of Germany became criminal by following the Kaiser. That’s why, just 15 years after goose stepping behind the Kaiser, the german nation was goose stepping behind Adolf Hitler. That’s why Germany, under the Nazis operated no less than an unbelievable 42,000 death camps (or ghettoes meant, and organized to kill people through disease, starvation, physical abuse). My own family barely escaped a round-up, before being outright being hunted by the Gestapo in the forests around Grenoble (for having saved 100+ Jews, among other “crimes against Germany”).

***

The Kaiser and his class were “PARASITES”, plutocrats making a country criminally insane Fundamentally, the movies “1917” and “Parasite” both depict what the Dark Side of Humanity leads to:

“1917” represents male Germans invading France as they were: killing robots. Is it why the movies didn’t get “Best Pictures” at the “Oscars”? Instead the prizes went to “Parasite”, a dismal Korean horror tale. Whereas “1917” is about what happened (reconstituted in a movie), “Parasite” is a complete fiction. Both movies, though, fundamentally address the same subject: beware because humans, even though they may look civilized, will partake in the greatest crimes, if given the opportunity.

***

The roots of German Criminal Insanity in 1914-1945 were very deep, centuries deep. Much German culture and history came in play:

The mass criminality against humanity of Germany in 1853-1945 had very deep roots. Maybe as deep as Arminius, a German who had become an Roman officer, and then brought three Roman legions to their annihilation. Arminius was a traitor… still he came to be celebrated as a great German hero by Prussian nationalists. Celebrating treachery as heroism is a slippery slope. In the end, Arminius (“Hermann”!) was assassinated as other Germans suspected he wanted to become sole autocrat.

In any case case, the deadly cocktail of racism, extreme tribalism, intolerance, extermination and nationalism started with the crusade of the Teutonic Knights against the original, Pagan Prussians. It had dawned on the Knights that the Muslims were too hard to exterminate (especially after Saladin passed laws to punish Islam Fundamentalism with the death peanalty). So they went to invade Prussia instead. It was a long and hard war of extermination. It lasted decades. Next the Teutonic Knights turned against the Russians… and were crushed by Alexander Nevski during the Battle of the Ice on 5 April 1242… Hence a durable German ressentiment against “Slavs”.

WW1 German soldiers having fun with Polish girls, WW1. Saying no would not be polite

Prussia, became legally racist against Slavs, Poles and Jews in the Eighteenth Century, Financed by Britain, Prussian then became a war machine against the Austrian empress, and France. Ultimately, by 1815, that turned out immensely successful, and racist militaristic Prussia was able to extend its racist militaristic Zeitgeist all over its empire in Central Europe. That’s when the young Marx, a German Jew, learned to hate, while at the same time, imprisoned by the Prussian mentality that dictatorship was the way to efficient governance.

To prevent Nazism, one would have had to invade Germany in 1918, take control of it, arrest the top 1,000 war criminals, and hang them. In other words, do to Germany in 1918 what was done in 1945: a thorough cleaning and cleansing. Hanging a thousand war criminals would have prevented the Nazi Party to sprout: many leading Nazis were actually young (or not!) commanders in World War One. Of the young ones, an example if Hermann Goering. Of the old ones, the initil sould of the Nazi Party, Ludendorff, definitively a criminal against humanity… With lots of guts. The German army opened fire on the Nazis who were attempting to stage a putsch in Munich in 1923 (financed by hyper racist, anti-Jewish  US plutocrat Henry Ford, a US car maker). Many Nazis fell dead, Hitler was wounded, and fled. Only one man was left standing, and kept on marching towards the firing troops: Ludendorff (recognizing their famed commander, they finally stopped).

***

1917 REAL, HUMAN HEROES VERSUS KILLER ROBOTS:

“1917” depicts British and Commonwealth heroes, with a French heroic background, fighting a monstrous fascist war fighting machine devouring humans and humanity alike, in the name of a perverse notion of morality as obedience.

The English heroes depicted are thoroughly human: they are attached to life, to their own lives, dearly, but transcend them in the name of the highest values. The fascist German invaders, however devoted to killing they are, do not rise to the same level of heroism, precisely because they are Kant killer robots dying in the name of the Kaiser World Empire project (same as, a few years later, the Nazi World Empire project: it is easy to see where Adolf Hitler and his goons got the inspiration).

This is of course why democracies win wars. And why at Thermopylae an army of a few thousand Greeks (including 300 Spartans headed by the Lion-like Leonidas) blocked, for days, the Persian juggernaut of three millions (says Herodotus; some modern historians, to show they were smart, have contested Herodotus number by an order of magnitude; truth is probably in between…).

The defeat of the Achaemenids in Greece preserved democracy… which lived strongly to the West, in Greek cities of independent republics along the Greek model, say in Magna Grecia, Rome and Marseilles.

The fascist plutocratic temptation is always strong, because a fascist dictatorship mustering evil to the rescue is always better at sudden vicious attack shattering the peace: August 1, 1914 is the best proof of that, when Kaiser Germany attacked the world, but imperial Japan proved that when it attacked China, especially in 1937, etc. But such demonstrations are found throughout history, as on December 31, 406 CE, when several German tribes galloped across the frozen Rhine, surprising the Frankish(-Roman) army.

When Evil Mentality Rules When The Herd Is More Valued Than The Rest:

Some will think I am going overboard, telling too many truths above, my usual sin, and the one philosophers are always charged with. And this is why “1917” didn’t win the Oscars: too many truths.

But we have a problem. The “Axis”, Germany, Japan, Italy demonstrated that, using modern technology, then the radio, one could make the herd believe anything, as long as the herd believed the essence of morality was to be a herd.

It is completely obvious that the German attack on the world in 1914, same as in 1939, was caused by the evil mentality which animated Germany at the time. Instead, a persistent myth has been successfully implanted that the first World War was purely mechanical, no one was to blame. This is hogwash: it was all caused by the Evil-Rule in Germany (Pluto-Kratia) [3].

The excursion of Germany into a mentality, fascism, completely opposed to the old German mentality, freedom, as in the Franks, is a precious (the price was high!) story, rich in wisdom. One has to learn from it. The Germans thought they were hyper civilized, when they were mostly just the opposite. So one would expect the youth to learn from that tragedy, right?

OK, Israel learned the lesson well: one should have listened to Hitler more carefully (this is an inner slight directed at Isaac Berlin, a British Jewish philosopher who had learned nothing from Nazism). But what about the rest of the world?

An obvious case of herd phenomenon is Islam, and the apartheid it calls its home. Fundamentally Islam distinguishes the “House of Peace” (where Islam is) and the “House of War”. A distinction which French president Macron just called “Islamist Separatism“… a good concept. Islamism, as Catholicism before it, rests upon the herd instinct: who is in, who is out. hence the importance of “excommunication” or “apostasy” (both initially Catholic obsessions, three centuries before Islam was invented.

Lack of Awareness:

In 2017 a Körber Foundation survey found that 40 percent of 14-year-olds in Germany did not know what Auschwitz was. What in the hell? A 2018 survey organized in the United States by the Claims Conference, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and others found that 66% of the American millennials (and 41% of all U.S. adults) surveyed did not know what Auschwitz was. No wonder I have so few followers when many 20 year old credit card fraudsters can get 400,000 followers (there were several such cases; now in prison). OK, the fraudsters propose money, whereas I propose knowledge non conducive to money, just to save civilization. In 2019, a survey of 1,100 Canadians found that 49 percent could not name any of the Nazi camps in German-occupied Europe. There were 3,000 camps in Berlin alone. Twenty million innocent people, millions of them children, died in Nazi camps.

Nowadays fools such as all too many so-called “millenials” feel that, as long as it is Politically Correct to not know any history, to show one belongs to the herd, the head deep in the sand, they and their values are safe. Well, not so. The German orchestrated holocaust of 1914-1945 was plotted, and enabled by people who thought they knew, and had a good feeling, for all that was important.

And they were wrong. To start with, a herd can’t replace a heart.

World War One was a plutocratic phenomenon. Plutocrat Duke of Brunswick, Kaiser son in law, former Duke of Cumberland, behind German lines in occupied France. The Kaiser was the grandson of UK Queen Victoria, and cousin to the Czar. Kaiser, empowered by Wilson, also enabled Lenin and Stalin…

This 1914-1945 German lesson in abomination has extreme validity nowadays. In the USA, a presidential election is in the process of being bought as never before [4]. In China, a pandemic was allowed to proceed, thanks to the extreme secrecy, thus information impotence, of the population. In either case, mechanisms similar to Nazi Germany are at play. Europe is not doing much better, as plutocrats are all the more firmly in command there, because they have learned to operate stealthily.

Ignorance was the main engine of the world wars: it enabled very dark forces to operate from beneath without everybody knowing. And that goes on to this day: the troubling role of the USA in 1914-1917, and again, in 1933-1942 was not properly analyzed by historians… because it’s way too dangerous. (I do not have a career to lose, being an independent scholar…)

World War One “Crown Prince”, the eldest son of the Kaiser, and would be dictator of Germany, commander of the largest army groups with death cap on his hat. The analogy with Nazism is total: the famous SS-Totenkopfverbände (SS-TV; literally “Death’s Head Units”) was the SS organization responsible for administering the Nazi extermination camps for Nazi Germany, among similar duties. The SS TV used the same symbol, the exact same drawing, a few years later.

The essence of plutocracy is that it feels, and knows, and wishes, and enforces that hell can be construed as paradise. This goes to the core of the human condition. Hell as paradise goes to the core of the human condition. Carefully studying 1914-1945 shows this. It got so severe because of technology… which has considerably in power since.

The world doesn’t want to be ruled by Lords. Because human beings are not meant to be ruled by anything else than reason. Only war justifies otherwise. Thus Lords love war, another reason not to like them!

[1] To remind readers unfamiliar with my version of the most significant facts of World War One, the Kaisers and six other plotters had decided upon preparing public opinion through media action for war as early as eleven December 1912. By July 1914, under the pretext of Russia stiffening Serbia about unacceptable Austrian demands consecutively to the Sarajevo assassination of the Archiduke, Germany executed its detailed plan for war. The other powers had only defensive, belated reactions. The French leaders, in particular, were in vacation (surprise). The German plan was named after the army chief of staff who drafted it, Alfred von Schlieffen. It solved the problem of Germany’s two-front war against France in the west and Russia in the east. The solution was to invade France from the north (through Brussels and Belgium, bringing it into the war as well), sweep around Paris, and turn east to crush the French army in the rear where it would be deployed on the German border. The idea was to go fast enough that Britain could not intervene in a significant manner to help its ally and relative, France. This would take the Germans, Schlieffen calculated, 42 days. This was less time than Russia needed to mobilize, and after finishing off France, Germany would then invade Russia.

Unfortunately for the fascists, fortunately for civilization, desperate Belgian and French resistance slowed them down (the counterattacking French lost 27,000 soldiers Killed In Action, in one day, on August 22, 1914, alone; 10% of the French officer corps was killed in action in August 1914 alone;  after staggering losses, the French army would change its striking red white and blue colors to something as drab as the Germans).

Slowed down, confident that the French had lost all their heavy weapons, the Germans shortened their swing from west to east of Paris. Meanwhile the Russians attacked faster than anticipated, necessitating transfer of eight German divisions to East Prussia (which arrived after a tremendous German victory at Tannenberg). Plus the British Expeditionary Force, equivalent of one French Army Corps, was in the war. Finally, using all motor vehicles they could find, the French Paris garrison was flung into the side of the German army juggernaut… At the First Battle of the Marne, from 5 September to 12 September, 1914, two million men fought; only fast action by some German army corps commanders preserve the German army from annihilation.

[2] Guderian, chief, soul and early organizer of Nazi armor, said he learned the usage of tanks in coordination with planes, when French general Mangin (10th French Army) and general Degoutte (6th French Army) counterattacked on July 1918 (using Allied troops besides 44 French divisions… US troops were massively used, for the first time, two US divisions were courageously victorious… and annihilated). Ironically enough, World War One was a learning experience for the Nazis.

***

[3] Conventional description of why the First World War was fought, instead of accusing the racist, fascist, militaristic, dictatorial, expansionist, plutocratic “Second Reich” insist on something mechanical, a clockwork shared by all, from various unstoppable mobilizations. For example, French mobilization, with three million men and 4,278 trains on the move, couldn’t be stopped. That forgets that said mobilization was ordered by the under Secretary for Agriculture, the only government official in vacationing Paris, when it became certain that the Germans were going to attack.

This forgets that German mobilization was fast, a few days, whereas Russian mobilization would take weeks. It also forgets that Britain had, basically “no army” (as its chief, Lord Kirtchner declared at the time, after he was nominated). It also forgets that Germany supposedly attacked to help Austro-Hungary which obstinately refused to declare war, days after the Germans had invaded Belgium and France, in spite of Berlin’s pressure…

[4] The establishment always feared Sanders much more than Trump… All the more as much Trump hatred was just an orchestrated circus act. So is now doing whatever needs to be done to stop Sanders.  Fortunately for plutocracy, Bloomberg is riding to the rescue with many billions, buying all that can be bought, including hearts and souls. Voters believe whatever the plutocratic media is telling them to believe… And not just in the USA. France, Britain and their ilk have the same problem. Direct Democracy would help, as voters would have to learn to become more discriminative… By themselves, the exact behavior Germans were incapable of, in depth, a century ago.

Australia As We Knew It, Is Gone

February 16, 2020

There is a world catastrophe going on. We started it. This is the greatest threat to the biosphere in 66 million years. “Climate Change” media call it, because they want to please the fossil fuel financial plutocracy which is smothering the planet. However, the climate is changing to the Jurassic… in a few decades (instead of millions of years). Species don’t have the time to adapt…. Except the real small ones, the viruses, bacteria, and countless parasites which kill trees by the billions.

So how is this “climate change” going to manifest itself? Well, the first thing is that ALL the temperate forests are going to deperish, die and burn, roaring from winds as never imagined before. This just happened in Australia and Corsica: air tankers couldn’t fly. All this enormous burning will not just augment CO2, it will decrease oxygen. Already oxygen has disappeared from giant swathes of the ocean. At any time, the unstable methane ice on the Siberian continental shelf could erupt: there is more of it than all other fossil fuels.

So what are Australians doing? Getting wealthy by using and selling coal, to China, Japan, etc. Australians, per capita, per year, emit from usage or export, 80 tons of CO2. France’s, and the world average, is five (5) tons, 16 times less. Australia is hoisted on its own petard, and it burns.

So, let me repeat to be very clear: this is not a question of “change”. This is a question of holocaust (= whole-burn), the greatest holocaust of the biosphere in 66 million years. And it’s not just plants and animals which will die en masse…

Let’s one chuckle, California, where the drought got re-started in 2020, is next…

The preceding was, word for word, a comment of mine sent to the NYT. My comment was censored (= barred from publication). Why? Same old, same old… Although my subscription costs is hundreds of dollars a year, and just went up, because the Times told me, it was searching for truth… The New York Times can’t have enough of blocking my comments… and stealing the ideas therein (what else? Didn’t like my, correct, usage of the word “holocaust? Or is it because I implied the media was cooperating with the fossil fuel + financial plutocracy conspiracy?) Here is the beginning of the New York Times article:

The End of Australia as We Know It
What many of us have witnessed this fire season feels alive and monstrous…

SYDNEY, Australia — In a country where there has always been more space than people, where the land and wildlife are cherished like a Picasso, nature is closing in. Fueled by climate change and the world’s refusal to address it, the fires that have burned across Australia are not just destroying lives, or turning forests as large as nations into ashen moonscapes.

They are also forcing Australians to imagine an entirely new way of life. When summer is feared. When air filters hum in homes that are bunkers, with kids kept indoors. When birdsong and the rustle of marsupials in the bush give way to an eerie, smoky silence.

“I am standing here a traveler from a new reality, a burning Australia,” Lynette Wallworth, an Australian filmmaker, told a crowd of international executives and politicians in Davos, Switzerland, last month. “What was feared and what was warned is no longer in our future, a topic for debate — it is here.”

“We have seen,” she added, “the unfolding wings of climate change.”

Like the fires, it’s a metaphor that lingers. What many of us have witnessed this fire season does feel alive, like a monstrous gathering force threatening to devour what we hold most dear on a continent that will grow only hotter, drier and more flammable as global temperatures rise.

It’s also a hint of what may be coming to a town, city or country near you.

And in a land usually associated with relaxed optimism, anxiety and trauma have taken hold. A recent Australia Institute survey found that 57 percent of Australians have been directly affected by the bush fires or their smoke. With officials in New South Wales announcing Thursday that heavy rain had helped them finally extinguish or control all the state’s fires that have raged this Australian summer, the country seems to be reflecting and wondering what comes next.

The present 2020 Australian PM, Scott Morrison became Prime Minister by holding a lump of coal in Parliament, arguing. to great approval of Australian political class, that it was time to burn even more coal. “NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF, DON’T BE SCARED!”, he laughed around… Are this sort of people not just criminal against the biosphere, but also criminals against humanity?

Robyn Eckersley, a political scientist at the University of Melbourne who has written extensively about environmental policy around the world. “It does change everything — or it should… specifically, she said, the economy needs to change, not just moving away from fossil fuels, a major export, but also from thirsty crops like rice and cotton.

Building regulations will probably stiffen too, she said. Already, there are signs of growing interest in designs that offer protections from bush fires, and regulators are looking at whether commercial properties need to be made more fireproof as well.

The biggest shifts, however, may not be structural so much as cultural.

Climate change threatens heavy pillars of Australian identity: a life lived outdoors, an international role where the country “punches above its weight,” and an emphasis on egalitarianism that, according to some historians, is rooted in Australia’s settlement by convicts.

Since the fires started, tens of millions of acres have been incinerated in areas that are deeply connected to the national psyche.

… Smoke may be more of a catalyst than flame. For much of the summer, a fog of soot has smothered Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. In Sydney alone, there were 81 days of hazardous, very poor or poor air quality last year, more than the previous 10 years combined. And until the recent rains, the smell of smoke often returned.

Mike Cannon-Brookes, Australia’s most famous tech billionaire, called it part of a broader awakening.

“It’s bringing home the viscerality of what science and scientists have been telling us is going to happen,” he said.

There’s unity in that, as so many have seen climate change up close and personal. But there’s also inequality. The air filters selling out at hardware stores last month cost close to $1,000 each.”

Humans Prefer To Be Tribal Rather Than Right… And That’s Wrong

February 15, 2020

This is about a seaside hill, one of the last refuge of the Western Monarch butterfly, a large orange and black long range migratory butterfly on the verge of extinction. Plutocrats, the power (kratia) of evil (Pluto) want to dynamite the hill to build four million dollar mansions facing the Golden Gate. Of course they were able to recruit a critical mass of local PC “Democratic” politicians to do so (I was told it involved a kick-back scheme). To save Albany Hill, please sign the online petition. All the people of the planet can sign it, even if they live in Wuhan, Hubei, China. This is just one small planet, we need to save the oxygen!

Here they were, the volunteers, maybe 100 high school students, raking tree bark from the ground, gathering it, putting it in huge plastic bags. Fallen bark was the enemy, it needed to be gathered, cleaned up, plastic bags were friends in which to stuff the enemy. Other volunteers were planting tiny blades of grass… were giant trees used to be, a few months ago, before being cut then bulldozed out. They used six bulldozers. For six months. How ecological is that? Thirty tons trees, replaced with lumps of three grams of grass? With public funds? Is it how we are going to absorb CO2? With a few blades of grass, where towering, growing trees used to be? Trees which can live two millennia? Recent research has shown that large trees are the greatest absorbers of CO2. A sequoia, native to the area, can absorb tons of CO2…. year after year.

What was the occasion of this ridiculous, however well-meaning, meeting? Taking care of a cherished hill! Ah, why were the trees cut? One pretext was the installation of an ADA (American disability Act) path… a path all made in concrete (the top of that hill was perfectly ADA accessible before; I was myself handicapped for a year and could get there; any wheelchair could have). Many trees had to be cut for that, between the new ADA path, opened by bulldozers, and the 30 to 40 foot wide forest road, parallel to it, twenty feet away. Why was not the ADA path installed on the top, slightly to the side of the forest road?

Prominent Tree in front: Monterey Pine, Pinus Radiata, native to a few spots in California, including SF Bay Area. Discernible a bit in the back, left, and right: Monterey Cypress, with same exact native range. Both endangered trees were systematically destroyed on Albany Hill, to give room for four million dollar mansions…. All of it disguised as a PC ecological program… I was told it was all about multimillion dollar kickbacks…

Why were so many trees cut? Why did none of the youth know that half of the hill was going to be dynamited to build dozens of four million dollars mansions? When the five million dollars contributed by the public for the park, were used for unrelated activities?

Isn’t it ridiculous to rack tree debris, after the City had ravaged the hill top for months with no less than six bulldozers? And all the wild animals, many endangered, had to flee? I asked, again and again:”Are you aware that the hill is going to be dynamited?” The youth’s many heads, feeling insecure, swivelled around with bovine interest: who was disturbing the tribal peace? The main adult who had organized the blade of grass planting retorted:”Not here!” She meant no destruction where she was standing… the destruction of the hill would indeed start, just one hundred meters to the south. This is not a new approach to holocausts:’Oh, it’s not happening under my feet! Why should I care?”

Endangered Monterey Cypresses grow naturally on a narrow strip of Northern California (the outrageous claim that Monterey Cypresses are only native to the 17 miles drive and Point Lobos, is probably just multimillionaire self-glorifying propaganda; I know for a fact immensely dwarfed old Monterey Cypresses, 100 kilometers north…) In any case some were unlawfully secretly cut for 48 multimillionaire mansions on Albany Hill, in violation of various laws…

I pointed out to the enormous destruction of trees, which devastated so many species, including endangered owls. Finally the responsible miscreant, who had harangued the youth prior, to instill the correctness of her ways, a city employee, snapped:  “Yes, I had the trees cut. Yes, i did it, I have the conifers cut. They are not native! They are a fire danger!” I retorted: “But these were endangered species! East Bay Junipers! Monterey Cypresses! Monterey Pines! Brewer Spruces! All native to Northern California and the coast ranges!” Margot C. got all inflamed: “I want only chaparral and poison oak on the West Side of the Hill! With a few oak on the north-east side!” Me:”Look at old pictures! It’s all conifers! Go around by the sea, on similar hills, it’s all conifers, typically Monterey Cypresses and Pines” Margot, apparently fully oblivious to reality retorted:”You are wrong!

Well, at least lunacy in person is more thrilling than on the Internet. Uncharacteristically for me, I left. I felt as if I had just been told that it was mars, not the Moon, which orbited the Earth.

Against insanity, the wise content in vain, and at the risk of exciting the injurious ardor of the mob. Obviously a rethink of the lunacy of a project to develop 48 four million dollar mansions… while presenting them to the State of California as “AFFORDABLE HOUSING”…. was in order. So much money at stake has addled the minds. Two days prior, I was walking in the dark, when a tall senior gentleman I had never seen before came to me. He started not by saying hello, but:”Do you want to be educated?”. Then he told me an amazing story of corruption and kick backs…. meanwhile, one hundred youth were planting one hundred blades of grass, where a forest used to be, thinking they were saving the planet… I went around, trying to tell them they were being had…

A few of the youth approved of my ways enthusiastically, others were condemning, most were baffled. They were here to do a job, to be together, a mutually bounding society, they were not gathered to hear what was going on, or hear that their esteemed leaders were not right… if it endangered the establishment, it was not what they were supposed to hear. Of that, they were sure.

Look at CORVID 19, at Antarctica melting ever faster, etc… Realize the futility of much of the world organization, and even of the work many people do, nowadays. Even Trump just had the USA join the worldwide “One trillion trees initiative” [1]. But then all too many PC people hate trees.

We are living in times when we have to learn quickly to suppress the tribal urge and replace it by the more elevated, more human, Will to Truth…

Yes, our distant ancestors were monkeys, and tribalism is what kept them alive. Now it’s what is killing us.

[1] September 2015 estimates of the number of trees on Earth show a figure of approximately 3 trillion subsequent determination has ascertained that 1.2 trillion trees would counteract 10 years of CO2 emissions (anthropogenic).

Even the cordially despised  World Economic Forum during 2020, held in Davos, feeling the heat, announced the creation of the One Trillion Tree Initiative platform made for governments, businesses, and civil society to provide support to the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2020-2030), led by UNEP and FAO. Forum participant Donald Trump, president of the United States, made an announcement that the government of the U.S. will be committing to the initiative.

13 billion trees, more exactly: 13,629,563,106+ trees have been planted as of the 4th of February 2020. In the PC San Francisco Bay Area, a lot of clear-cutting, of entire hillside meanwhile proceeded… As usual, many SF values are upside down…

FREE WILL SHOWS QUANTUM PHYSICS IS INCOMPLETE

February 15, 2020

Present Day Quantum Physics Is Entangled With Photon Awareness, While Contradicting Free Will, In A Most Peculiar Way…

Abstract: The Axiomatics of the Copenhagen Interpretation of the Quantum is written as if photons were aware of slits-at-a-distance… And as if photons acted accordingly (as if photons cared about slits!)… But the Copenhagen Interpretation of the Quantum provides NO mechanism for photons to take care of slits. This is absurd in two ways. It’s as if an anthropomorphic Mr. Photon was supposed to be telepathetic. Another problem with the Copenhagen Interpretation of the Quantum (“CIQ”) is that CIQ Quantum Physics, being deterministic, denies Free Will.

Conclusion: Quantum Theory is not the final story. Guiding Wave theories with delayed causality, such as SQPR, are necessary to reduce the nonsense.

***

We act, we decide, we initiate actions. Can we insert this faculty for action of our own Free Will, this human agency, into the general picture of nature (“physics”) that we presently have? No! Because physics as we know it is deterministic… And we are not! (Quantum Physics, contrarily to its repute, is deterministic… as long as its nonlocal effects are not considered…)

Thus the humanity-as-an-independent-agent question leads to the depths of the human mind and its relationship with physical reality, throwing up profound connections to the mysteries of entropy (disorder augments… something biology violates) and the arrow of time (time flowing one way… although fundamental physics flow both ways, contradicting even entropy as fundamental). Even reality gets questioned (what is it?) and consciousness (what could it be?) Surprising answers are readily discernible.

Quantum fields don’t have any agency. Atoms don’t, do bacteria?” asks physicist Sean Carroll from the California Institute of Technology. “I don’t know, but human beings do. Somewhere along that continuum it sneaked in.

Quantum Determinism a la Copenhagen Means We Have No Freedom Of Choice

Well, it is not even as simple as believing “agency” sprouts between things more complicated than atoms and human beings. Let me make a ridiculously simple observation.

Take the 2 slit exp. This phenomenon is the conceptual heart of Quantum Physics. If we take the Copenhagen Interpretation of the Quantum (CIQ, pronounced “SICK”), at face value, something astounding occurs: it looks as if an electron, or a photon, has AWARENESS.

Indeed, according to Einstein, a photon in flight is a localized concentrated “quantum” (Einstein wrote about “Lichtquanten”, light quanta; they got named “photons” 20 years later).

The following is exactly what Albert wrote, in his otherwise beautiful Nobel Prize winning paper on the photoelectric effect, and has been viewed as definitive truth ever since: “Energy, during the propagation of a ray of light, is not continuously distributed over steadily increasing spaces, but it consists of a finite number of energy quanta LOCALIZED AT POINTS IN SPACE, MOVING WITHOUT DIVIDING…” (I view this Einstein unsupported opinion as a grave error which the herd has made ever since… But I am going to proceed, for the sake of argument, as if this ridiculous idea were true, in the next few lines!)

When one cuts two slits in a screen, a photon (going through just one slit, according to Einstein) somehow knows about the other slit. How? Certainly not by having Mr. Photon look over at the other slit. So, then, what is the root, the nature of this photon “awareness”, Einstein and his followers want us to believe in?

A photon is aware of the other slit: could such an elementary particle’s awareness at a distance be the fundamental “element of consciousness“? (I am sarcastically parroting terminology of Einstein in 1935, introducing the notion of “elements of reality”)

A shallow philosopher could chuckle that all consciousness comes from sensation, which comes from senses… And obviously the photon has no senses… Except, somehow, according to Einstein and CIQ, the photon (or any fundamental particle) senses the other slit at a distance (always under Einstein’s locality-of-the-quantum hypothesis, which permeates modern physics, a pervading poison gas)… So, according to them, the photon has a sense, somehow.

Experiments With Bouncing Droplets such as these three above, were started in Paris in the Twenty-First Century. They provide with the first analogy to guide De Broglie’s Pilot Wave Theory of 1927 and the much more sophisticated SQPR… A problem for the Pilot Wave Theories being that we have NO mathematical models… As mathematicians prefer often to focus on silly problems posed by infinities, the modern analogue of the worry an infinite number of sitting angels on pinheads posed to Middle Age Catholic bishops….

The surface waves generated by the silicon oil droplets above are analogous to quantum mechanical waves that guide the dynamics of quantum particles. While the droplets move like quantum particles, they behave like quantum waves.”… says award winning photographer and physicist Dr Aleks Labuda, who took the picture above.

Guiding Wave (GW) partisans, such as yours truly, don’t have the problem of the telepathic, all aware photon endowed with Free Will: the Guiding Waves go through both slits of the 2 slit experiment, and thereafter “guides” the photon accordingly to the presence of these two slits. (The experimental models of the 2 slits, with bouncing liquid balls, exists… and thus have attracted great hatred from partisans of the Copenhagen Interpretation, such as from the grandson of Niels Bohr, himself a physicist. I will not put links, so as not to confuse readers…)

So, basically, if one rejects a strange photon “awareness”, implicitly assumed by CIQ, one is immediately led to Guiding Waves theories. To this people familiar with the Foundations of Quantum Physics may retort that a GW theory such as De Broglie-Bohm is indistinguishable from CIQ. Right. But I don’t think De Broglie-Bohm Guiding Wave can withstand the EPR 1935. Moreover, my own theory, SQPR, is distinguishable from CIQ: SQPR produces Dark Matter… CIQ doesn’t.

In any case, a GW theory is a mechanical, non local, field of awareness (Bohm makes it into a Quantum Potential). [1]

***

With Quantum Physics, we find ourselves back into the ultra-deterministic setting of the Eighteenth Century… But now with a theory which claims to understand everything (whereas in the 18C-19C, some pieces were missing, and not just the two clouds on the horizon  Lord Kelvin saw in the distance…) So the Quantum should explain Consciousness, Free Will… As it explains the universe. But, clearly, it contradicts Free Will… EXCEPT, if one considers nonlocal effects. Nonlocal effects violate local determinism.

The preceding essay stands as a testimony of the usefulness of the philosophical approach to dig deeper into what physics should become in the (hopefully) near future [2]. Not that it was ever different each time physics jumped ahead. All revolutions in physics have been revolutions in philosophy… and the most general revolutions in philosophy often preceded revolutions in physics and science in general [3]. For example, the Renaissance of the Eleventh Century preceded the Buridan (and his schools!) astronomical, physical and mathematical revolution after 1350 CE. In turn it may have accelerated the Fifteenth-Sixteenth Century philosophical Renaissance which clearly led to the Seventeenth Century scientific and technological revolutions, an ambitious protest against more modest understanding.

[1] One thing that makes SQPR different from De Broglie-Bohm (DBB), is that SQPR supposes the Guiding Field proceeds, expanding or collapsing, at an extremely fast… but NOT infinite… speed. Another is that the Guiding Field carries minute, but non zero mass-energy. Both effects together predict the Dark Matter effect… Also SQPR makes Quantum Entanglement a mass-energy conveyor, hence non-magical, another deviation from both CIQ and DBB…

***

[2] Quantum Computers exploit the Foundations of the Quantum… but not through the brute force of Quantum Field Theory and its (glaringly very incomplete and haphazard) “Standard Model” ….the one with no model for Dark Matter or Dark Energy. So Quantum Computers bring the foundations, such as Quantum Entanglement, crucial for their operations, into focus… Hence expect foundations to become ever more crucial in the common Zeitgeist…

***

[3] This is particularly blatant reading Descartes, who justified his enormous advances in mathematics with a cocktail of philosophical and psychological observations of the most judicious types. Just as I question infinity, Descartes questioned the sort of proofs mathematicians had been satisfied with for two millennia… and did something about it (by inventing Algebraic Geometry)….
