Putin’s Defense Minister Sees “Non-Humans” In Ukraine

January 30, 2022

The analogies between the Putin dictatorship and Hitler’s are deep. Including the concept of “non-human”, see Putin’s Defense minister use it below.

Hitler wanted to reunite East Prussia (now Russian occupied) with the rest of Germany… superficially a reasonable request (except that then it demied Poland access to the sea). Putin instead wants to reconstitute the Slavs in full glory, viewed as a gigantic, Moscow led empire, unencumbered by… Catholicism, the West, non-Russian languages, etc. This is way beyond having a problem with Ukraine, founder of Rus. In Putin’s fanatical entourage, Moscow founded Rus, and that’s it: anything which differs from this myth, is not history. It is a case of time travel, redoing reality the Moscovian way, forgetting Moscow became dominant by beating the bloody Mongols at their own game. As Putin’s top media plutocrat Konstantin Malofeev put it in January 2022: “On what basis did Poland and Finland come out? We didn’t let them go!”

Putin’s goons completely ignore the fact that, riding on the coattails of Mongolian occupation as its own Vichy regime, the Moscovian Kremlin invaded, occupied and ruled most nations of Eastern Europe for centuries… Nations which were civilizations, older than Moscow… A realm of oppression and genocide that was reinforced at Yalta, when, under the guise of “socialism”, half of Europe was gifted to the dictator Stalin.

Why did that happen? Because Lenin, Stalin were themselves props for US plutocrats such as the Harriman brothers, heir of the US railroad “robber baron” monopolist Edward Harriman, friend of John Muir (small world). Lenin used to joke about it. However it was no joking matter, when, as part of the US Deep State’s Machiavellian design, half of Europe was gifted to dictators.

US Uber Plutocrat Averell Harriman owned a mighty US investment bank, presided by George Herbert Walker (maternal grandfather of Iraq invader, and Iraqi oil destroyer, US president W Bush). A young Harriman was made even more wealthy than before from the Baku oil fields. The Americans introduced rotary drills and modern pumps which enabled the Soviets to reopen the Baku oil fields as early as 1923 (so this cooperation with pillars of the US “Democratic” Party was a policy of Lenin). The pipeline built by Nobel was replaced. In 1941, Harriman stepped in to buttress Stalin’s power, when the latter sank in a deep depression, and expected to be sacked by his politburo’s colleagues any moment (not for allying himself with Hitler, a long standing Soviet policy, but for having weakened the Red Army).

Averell Harriman, Pluto heir, rescuer and chief of the USSR since before 1923, next to his employee, the dictator Stalin, Moscow conference of August 1942, when Prescott Bush, a relative, was still managing what Hitler called his “most important company”. On the right is Molotov, Stalin’s chief goon, serving no cocktail, who had signed the alliance of the Soviets with the Nazis, against the French Republic, a democracy, and against independent Poland, three years earlier. Nobel prize winning British sucker on the left. Harriman brothers pulled the strings of the Democratic party for generations. Also decorated by both Stalin and Hitler. Want to know what the Deep State is? Here it is!

At Yalta, the corrupt, anti-French, anti-British and generally anti-European, American Plutocracy-First Roosevelt administration, rewarded Stalin and his goons by giving them half of Europe.

That the US had to give half of Europe because Stalin had 600 divisions ignores reality: Joukov had only 200 tanks left in May 1945 around Berlin. Moreover Joukov could have been persuaded to replace Stalin by just asking. And Stalin knew it, he was terrified by Joukov. However, once the politburo knew that US plutocrats had confirmed Stalin as head of the USSR, Joukov had to content himself with riding a white horse on red square…

Below what is meant by “peacekeeping operations” is military operations conducted by Putin which killed hundreds of thousands of people, in particular in the Caucasus, Georgia, Syria, etc:

Sergey Osipov, AiF.ru: And when, against the backdrop of these peacekeeping operations, did you realize that a large country is disintegrating in such a way that it cannot be glued together later? As with Ukraine: all the pots there are now broken …

SERGEI SHOIGU, PUTIN’S DEFENSE MINISTER: – This understanding came in 1993, after the well-known events in Moscow. And as for Ukraine today… In Ukraine, we did not help them, starting from the 2000s, to consistently beat their own pots, destroying the country. And thank God that under the leadership of our President in 2014 we managed to maintain peace in Crimea. Because if all this audience – Ukrainian neo-fascists, ultranationalists, extremists and mercenaries from European countries and the USA – arrived then after the coup d’etat in Kiev, as they were going to, in Crimea, I assure you, it would not have seemed enough to anyone. There would be such an inferno that  the whole world could not put it out. We are still seeing the consequences of the attempts of these NON-HUMANS, together with the Ukrainian troops, to establish their own order in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Putin published his perverse version of history, upside down on July 12, 2021, where he claimed Ukraine was just a Moscovian borderland, soon after spending a few days in a vacation with Sergei, his Defense Minister, quoted above. The two men have been close for decades… None of the preceding is insignificant or irrelevant.

Interestingly, while France tried to undo the Russian, and German imperium at Versailles in 1919, the US rebuilt the Russian imperium at Yalta, in 1945. None of this is accidental: from 1914 to 1945, and well after that, the US and France were in very deep opposition, the former trying to demolish the reach of the latter (ironically enough, on the grandest historical scale, the US is just an appendage of France…)

Most people do not realize that US policy in the Twentieth Century was articulated by US plutocrats, and their employees, serving themselves. Thanks to aggressive maneuvering, the US displaced, and replaced the European powers it descended from. However the realization seems to have dawned on Trump and Biden, that the US can’t do it by itself. Trump asked most of NATO to spend more on defense, and Biden slammed the door on Afghanistan, leaving the rest of NATO to hang dry from its own impotence. US policy is far from coherent, though, as its ally with a most prominent own military-industrial complex, France, is often treated as an enemy… When it is actually in the US interest to use its ally and parent’s industrial and technological might to complement and extent its own.

In the 1960s France, founding member of the NATO treaty, left the integrated NATO military command, from several disagreements… all originating with what happened in 1936-1941, when the US administration took the side of fascism, while talking the other way, ultimately refusing to fight Hitler, helping Stalin, and saddling Britain and other democracies with giant debts, to be repaid after 1945, in the your-money-or-your-life style…. (France came back later.)

The Moscovian ultimatum from dictator Putin was long in the making: in 1919 at Versailles, France pushed for the liberation of Eastern Europe, over the objections of racist Keynes (top man of the UK delegation), and of the US which felt apparently that the German fascist should be given another chance to kill and weaken a lot of Europeans... The Versailles Treaty ended with Eastern Europe liberated, thanks to the absence of the Russian imperialists… soon reinvigorated by their ongoing collaboration with German fascists and US plutocrats.

And now the message is that, after 13 centuries of corruption messing up China, thus making it fall, most of the time, under foreign domination and occupation (from Turks, Uighurs, Jurgen, Mongols, Manchu, before France and the UK showed up…)… China is waking up… Under dictatorial form (not a change), and the US Deep State is now getting reacquainted with its roots.

Putin may have felt encouraged by the Afghanistan debacle… and, expecting US weakness and EU division, may have fallen in a trap, of his own making. Clearly, in any case, we can’t allow the Chinese dictator to empower himself with 1,000 H bombs, but then, as long as an homocidal dictator such as Putin has more than 1,500 H bombs ready to be delivered, the argument is hard to make. Conclusion: we need a more reasonable regime in Moscow, focused, as Biden pointed out, on its own realm, which is plenty gigantic enough, and quite empty… next to the crowded areas of China…

Of this crisis something good may come out, “nonhuman”, or not…

Putin’s Lethal Resentment Against Those Who Fear Moscovian Dictator(s) Hegemony & Their Remembrance

January 30, 2022

Thermonuclear Russian dictator Putin has been in absolute power for 23 years, trying hard to invade countries. And he is not alone: a galaxy of evil orbits around this balck hole, such as plutocrat Konstantin Malofeev (for fun and further edification on Russian plutocracy and its war mongering, one can read a revealing interview [1]).

How do we know Putin has been trying hard to invade? In 1999, while PM for Russian president Yeltsin, Putin sent elite paratroopers to Kosovo, to try to revert on the ground the independence of Kosovo, negotiated between NATO and Serbia (nota bene: the shooting war with Serbia had started with France; NATO was dragged years later). Kosovo is next to the Adriatic sea… The Russian planes flew above Hungary and Ukraine, after misrepresenting their lethal content. Yeltsin, aghast, wanted to talk secretly one on one with US president Clinton with no others present, on “a boat, a submarine, or some island so that not a single person will disturb us … No one else can do it.” Putin admitted later he gave the order. Putin’s foreign minister was the same as now, 23 centuries later, big game hunter Lavrov, another living fossil remnant from the USSR. A shooting war was avoided, when the local NATO commander, a British general, decided not to use force against the Russians, who had just violated international law. The Brit explicitly disobeyed the NATO commander, a US general, telling him:”No, Sir, I will not start World War Three for you!” NATO is no military dictatorship… it’s a “Treaty” (right now, it’s the French who would decide to order the firing of NATO’s first shots.) Nor by the way is the EU a “club” or a “block” as clueless Anglo-Saxon or Putinesque media insists… The EU is an “Union”. NATO is not an “Union”.

See: https://www.americanprogress.org/article/the-first-time-putin-tried-to-invade-a-foreign-country/

Putin: …”in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when we were told that our concerns about NATO’s potential expansion eastwards were absolutely groundless. And then we saw five waves of the bloc’s eastward expansion. Do you remember how it happened? All of you are adults. It happened at a time when Russia’s relations with the United States and main member states of NATO were cloudless, if not completely allied.

I have already said this in public and will remind you of this again: American specialists were permanently present at the nuclear arms facilities of the Russian Federation. They went to their office there every day, had desks and an American flag. Wasn’t this enough? What else is required? US advisors worked in the Russian Government, career CIA officers gave their advice. What else did they want? What was the point of supporting separatism in the North Caucasus, with the help of even ISIS – well, if not ISIS, there were other terrorist groups. They obviously supported terrorists. What for? What was the point of expanding NATO and withdrawing from the ABM Treaty?

Yes, we are all adults, so we understand basic notions which Putin doesn’t understand: NATO is NOT a dictatorship. Countries joined NATO, because they wanted to join NATO for protection. Putin is a hammer looking for a nail. (In the last week, in 2002, Russia announced naval military exercises in the Irish EEZ… which is illegal… Ireland got very upset. Russia then backed off. Ireland is not a member of NATO… Not yet…)

Actually to be admitted to NATO, one has to be a democracy. Spain was refused membership, although it had perfect right wing fascist credentials, and precisely because of that. In a sense the idea of NATO, an extension of the idea of the European Union, and like the SDN and the UN, are French ideas and policies which are coming straight from the formation of the Frankish Confederacies, more than 17 centuries ago: establish a broad consensus around an open society founded on maximally tolerant, but fierce, law.

In the 1990s, many observers, including yours truly, hoped that Russia would become a member of NATO some day. East European countries, some occupied dictatorships based in by Moscow for centuries, hastened to become democracies and applied to NATO, lest Moscow spawn another dictator…. As happened.

Second Chechen war, directed by Putin. Chechens were crushed by heavy artillery. Nobody knows how many died. In Russia, people just disappear, sometimes by the thousands. According to Stalin, more than 20 millions. The organization “Memorial”, which was registering the millions killed under the Gulag system, was recently outlawed by Putin.

For over 30 years, Memorial uncovered the fates of the victims of Soviet political repressions. Memorial also exposed human rights abuses in present-day Russia. On December 29, 2021, a Putin judge decided that “Memorial” was a foreign agent, and outlawed it.

Memorial is not an organisation nor even a social movement. Memorial is the need of Russia’s citizens for the truth about their tragic past, and the fate of many millions of people. ” [Statement by International Memorial]. In telling contrast, in 2022, the French president, Macron, recognized the (long denied) massacre in Algeria by French troops in 1962 of French Algerian Natives who wanted to keep Algeria French (whatever the latter concept meant; instead De gaulle gave Algeria to a terrorist organization, the FNL). So Putin outlawed the uncovering of the past, while, simultaneously Macron looked at it in the eye… Right, president Macron is coming for re-election, in April 2022, while Putin intends to be thermonuclear dictator for life…

The ABM treaty was abrogated in 2002 by W. Bush, who noted that the treaty is “now behind us,” reiterating his commitment to deploy missile defenses “as soon as possible” to protect against “growing missile threats.”. After 9/11, that was understandable. (And the USSR had deployed the SS20 missile, and then hypersonic skimming missiles in the Kanilingrad oblast… ex-Prussia…)

Putin made very clear in a July 2021 historical essay of 7,000 words that Ukraine is just a “borderland” of the Moscovian Rus. This is a complete rewriting of history, upside down. However, those following Putin believe that Ukraine, and much of Eastern Europe, do not exist as sovereign countries, but are just rogue provinces of Moscow. Proof? Well, it’s provided by the always helpful Mr. Putin: Those countries all speak Russian, or something similar says Putin [2]. Also, all Slavs! So bordelands of Moscow! So “military-technical” may simply mean an invasion. Indeed, time is working against Putin’s autocracy and its dependency upon a wasting asset, fossil fuels. Reconquista of the USSR is now or never.

***

Putin, after a few paragraphs added: “Naturally, as I have already noted, if our Western colleagues continue their obviously aggressive line, we will take appropriate military-technical reciprocal measures and will have a tough response to their unfriendly steps. And, I would like to stress that we are fully entitled to these actions that are designed to ensure Russia’s security and independence.

So there are cases where “we” are not “fully entitled“? Putin goes on: “As we know well, they are operating thousands of kilometers away from their national territory under different pretexts, including the need to ensure their own security. When international law and the UN Charter get in their way, they declare them obsolete and unnecessary. However, when something meets their interests, they immediately refer to the norms of international law, the UN Charter, international humanitarian law and so on. These manipulations are annoying.

In this connection, as I have already said, it is important to continue planned, steady, systemic development of the Armed Forces.”

The problem in all of this, is that the really annoyed Putin is in command of wasting assets in a wasting economy. Dictators, in cases like that, in command of wasting assets, have two choices: wait for the end, or engineer another coup, bigger, stronger and more desperate…

[1] Plutocrats around Putin explicitly want to rebuild the Russian empire at maximal extent. In one of many gems, Putin media plutocrat Konstantin Malofeev speaking, exposing the crux of the matter, Jan 2022: “On what basis did Poland and Finland come out? We didn’t let them go!” Konstantin Malofeev: «На каком основании вышли Польша и Финляндия? Мы их не отпускали!»… “We consider Ukraine as a country temporarily occupied by the Anglo-Saxon special services, in which there is no sovereign power that is not completely under the control of these special services. Therefore, we are not talking with the Ukrainian authorities, but with the collective West. Therefore, the negotiations are not taking place in Kiev, but in Geneva, in Brussels, where it is necessary to talk with the masters of the current Kiev regime...

The invasion has already taken place. American and British intelligence agencies are already on the territory of Ukraine. We know that Canadian special forces flew to the territory of Ukraine. Therefore, we can expect provocations on the border with the republics of the DPR and LPR. And, perhaps, it will not be the Ukrainians themselves, but just the Anglo-Saxon special forces, which will arrange these provocations, because the Americans and the British are ready to fight the Russians to the last Ukrainian.it can only be a peace enforcement operation, as in Georgia. It will last a maximum of 48 hours, and we cannot talk about any frontsthroughout human history two civilizations are fighting: the civilization of money, which is represented by the very exchanges you are talking about, and the civilization of honor

Putin And The Ape In Us

January 27, 2022

Ecologically Cornered, Putin Wants To Attack, Kill, Occupy… As Primitive Humans Always Did. When Eco-Stressed. But We Have Better Ways Now.

Fires have been burning in Siberia even with temperatures as low as minus 61 Centigrades (that’s minus 78 F)… The permafrost caught fire, and keeps on burning below the snow… the frozen ground is full of desiccated carbon rot and methane… As the water is frozen solid, firefighters have been reduced to stomping the ground with their boots, or shovels. A strange scene, 10,000 kilometers east of Moscow and its reigning tyrant, Putin… who logically enough, would prefer to invade in a westerly direction… These so-called “zombie fires” have appeared in the last few years in quickly warming polar regions. They are 100% caused by the CO2 calamity. Polar regions are warming up at four times the average of the rest of the planet [1].

Basically the permafrost transforms itself into dry peat, and then burns. Peat fires are a serious problem. Serious science is now considering them, while they smolder from Siberia to Indonesia, releasing billions of tons of CO2 yearly (total fossil fuel burning is 35 billion tons CO2 per year). I have long claimed such fires could become so severe as to cause PLANETARY HYPOXIA… COVID for the entire biosphere…. (French president Macron repeated the claim, and was derided by corrupt scientists…)

Fires In Siberia are becoming a serious worldwide problem, be it only because they emit lots of CO2. They also heat up the permafrost, relaesing CH4 which is orders of magnitudes more of a greenhouse gas than CO2…

Tyrannical regimes generally care about themselves: stealing is a full time job, and they can’t afford any other, lest justice catches up with them.

So we are facing ecological devastation. we are facing a sixth mass extinction, and it has started. But, for the human species, it’s more of the same. Humans have changed the environment drastically, since the genius of this genus became dominant, say, two million years ago (when Homo Ergaster colonizing Eurasia started to wear animal furs to survive the cold winters).

These human driven changes generally led to local extinctions, through ecological exhaustion, and were probably resolved the old fashion way, through mayhem… the case of the Maya is examplary: a civilization which had lasted millennia collapsed, from ecological devastation, after getting a first warning, and immediately after achieving its peak!

If a species causes problems, culling it, crashing its population, will solve said problems. Such is the human dilemma: prosperity requires calamity. So it is to be feared that one of the oldest most established human instincts is self-destruction: the ferocity of adult humans against humans creates a homeostasis which enables the human genus to avoid termination events, paradoxically, through war.

Thus the way Putin behaves, lashing out at neighbors while his frozen tundra burns, is the oldest trick: if eight billion humans damage Earth, maybe one could reduce their numbers by 90%, and sprinkle the whole thing with radioactive dust?  Humanity has long profited from lunatics such as Putin, with a reduced sense of risk (this trait of Putin was uncovered by his KGB handlers).

Putin emotes to facilitate conflict and mayhem, because that trait has proven so evolutionary advantageous, that this self-destruction inclination is one of the oldest human instincts. So paradoxically the termination schock Putin, and the climate calamity bring to his country, invites Putin to risk further wrecking his country. One would think that, confronted to the climate calamity, Putin would opt for resilience, as more and more political leaders do [2].

Other leaders will be encouraged to choose resilience once everybody realizes that Putin has opted for basic primatology, bashing the neighbors, instead of thinking creatively about the huge problems at hand.

Eco-logy is the logic of the house. The house Putin built is full of fossil fuels. Russia is a monoculture of fossil fuels. It depends upon selling its CO2 generating fuels to Western Europe. So Russia a la Putin is condemned in the medium term, as we will have to stop the CO2 nonsense (we are at 600 ppm of CO2 equivalent, according to my computations, and we should reach 1,000 ppm, which is probably as much as at the peak of the Jurassic).

Putin is cornered, so Putin is a bad, very bad ape, he runs around all agitated and wants us to be all very afraid. We need a tranquillizer gun… France and Germany are trying to soothe him through the “Normandy Format”[3]

Hopefully, the ape will regain his senses… before things end up the old fashion way…

Patrice Ayme

[1] NYT Friedman wrote a good editorial on replacing resistance motivated leaders by resilience motivated leaders. Biden told President Vladimir Putin that Russia has something much more important to worry about than whether Ukraine looks East or West — namely, “a burning tundra that will not freeze again naturally.”

My translation: Yo, Vladimir, while you’ve been busy putting your “little green men” into Ukraine — all those masked Russian soldiers in green uniforms without insignia — little green shoots have been popping up in your warming tundra. Siberia had a totally freakish, hyper-extreme weather event — a forest fire that firefighters had to stomp out with their boots because the local water sources were all frozen.

I’m pretty sure this was the first time a U.S. president ever tried to persuade a Russian leader to get out of his neighbor’s front yard and focus instead on saving his own backyard — because as Siberia is affected by climate change, it will threaten Russia’s stability a lot more than anything that happens in Ukraine.

Alas, Putin is part of a generation of world leaders who know how to build their popularity only on the strength of their resistance to enemies abroad and at home.

***

[2] From Friedman rolling out what serious leaders should do, resilience to resist the climate calamity: …”the energy-water deal that Israel, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates…. The U.A.E. — whose leader, Mohammed bin Zayed, is the most prominent Arab ruler working to build his stature by delivering resilience — would finance the construction by an Emirati firm of a huge solar power plant in Jordan that would generate cheap electricity for Israel, which would build a desalination plant on the Mediterranean and send water to an increasingly parched Jordan…. EcoPeace Middle East is an alliance of Israeli, Palestinian and Jordanian environmentalists that has been pushing for a regional strategy called a Green Blue Deal. It would build on the Jordan-Israel-U.A.E. accord but also include the Palestinian West Bank and Gaza and extend to both fresh water and electricity…

***

[3] Pressure on Putin is exerted not just from the “Anglo-Saxons”, but also NATO itself (30 countries, some of which were occupied by Moscow for centuries and still survived… Ukraine, since the 17C, but also Poland and the Balts are among them), and the “Normandy” task force (France, Germany, Ukraine, Russia)…

Dems’ Derangement Driven By Their Owners

January 26, 2022

The truth is simple, and terrible: the US self-described “Democrats” are more on the right, on many issues, and perhaps on the most important issues, like income for most people, than the Republicans. And the Dems are pretty brazen about it. An example is Pelosi trading stocks to increase her fortunes and refusing the Republicans’, and Progressives idea of forcing legislators in blind trusts.

This was long my main objection to Obamacare: I expected this Obama “Signature Achievement”, drafted by plutocrats, would mostly make the US health care plutocracy wealthier… as happened exactly, and life expectancy collapsed, big time, by many years. My brother in law, not even 50, died from it.

The New York Times’ editorial board, shrilly anti-Republicans for many years, to the point of ridicule, has suddenly turned critical of Biden, calling him a “failure”: President Biden’s Economy Is Failing the Big Mac Test.

Under Trump, the poorer half of the country became significantly less poor than it used to be. Tariffs helped. Biden didn’t remove them, but Biden could do more to produce more at home rather than in China. Biden could have imposed tariffs on carbon content (a powerful ally would be France, which wanted such tariffs for a long time, and could force the EU to do the same). That would profit US workers and the ecology.

Notice the Trump bump up (blue line) due to a change in the tax code enabling lower wage workers to pay less taxes… No wonder the influential 1% hate Trump. Also notice this is the middle 40%. Had I produced the rgaph for the lower 50% the Trump bump up would have been more marked. Trump taxes disadvantage California’s wealthy, another reason for their hatred.

“Democratic” leaders are the servants of the tech oligopolies they created… with the aime to profit from them personally… as can now be observed everyday. Obama used to fly over Silicon Valley every few weeks to take his orders from the so-called “tech titans”, actually greedy monopolists with small minds… who were going to insure his wealthy retirement. Biden should have done a crusade against the monopolists, pretended he was going to do… Trump tried (and was shot down by the first impeachment, craftily launched after a deal with Pelosi to go after the monopolists)… Biden is not even trying (craftily, he put in place in his adminstration the critics of monopolistic tech, and then shut them down).

Critical Race Theory results in having white teachers tell minority or multiracial children that they have to resist the alleged racism… of their own parents. At least this is happening in the San Francisco Bay… Not just this, but this strange delusion has replaced normal instruction of basic knowledge and we had to pull out our 12 year multiracial daughter from this public derangement which replaced normal schooling.

Crime and tent cities proliferate, and, even in the very center of the very wealthy Bay Area, there is now so much crime that shopping centers have to be avoided (even in Palo Alto, hold up happen in broad day light in the middle of the most frequented shopping mall… last week…).

New York Times, January 25 2022: “The various iterations of the voting-rights bill known as the For the People Act are a case in point. Holding the presidency, both houses of Congress and the most influential parts of the media, Democrats have monopolized the political argument for a year now. If there were a solid case that the bill really was an emergency project to protect democracy, rather than the partisan wish list that its opponents claimed, it would have triumphed by now.

When Mr. Biden told an Atlanta crowd this month that those who opposed this bill were on the same side as Alabama’s segregationist Governor George Wallace and the Confederacy’s President Jefferson Davis, he was arguably combining the condescension of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 “deplorables” remark with a kind of anti-white race-baiting. That is electorally dangerous. Democrats lost white non-college-educated voters by 25 points in the last election, and there is no guarantee that the margin will not get wider.

But this may not even be the party’s biggest miscalculation when it comes to demographics. Minorities do not seem to like the Democrats’ racialized approach any more than whites do…

Democrats have been led astray by their Trump obsession. They have misunderstood what the former president represented to voting Americans. Mr. Trump tapped into smoldering grievances against various information-economy elites and managers. There is no reason that ethnic-minority voters wouldn’t share some of those grievances.

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan gave upward of $400 million to the nonprofit Center for Tech and Civic Life to help local governments organize elections under Covid-19 conditions. Their gift roughly equaled the amount of federal funding designated for that purpose in the 2020 CARES Act. It is hard to imagine that anyone worried about the role of private wealth in prisons or military logistics or public schools would welcome such a role in elections.

However much of this was done as “vote harvesting”, where, in California, “Dem” operators canvassed the electorate and harvested… their votes. What could go wrong? These people are right, as I said in the begining, in all senses of the term…

The margin of Biden against Trump was six million votes in California, exactly that of the entire USA. Gee, I wonder why.

Whether there was mass cheating in California, I don’t know… for sure. My ID was NOT checked when I voted. It looks as if there could have been mass cheating in the voting itself, then, with all that hysterical mass harvesting… And the mass propaganda machine for ultimately the tech monopolies, through their elected agents, is undeniable… That’s a gross violation of parrhesia and isegoria, pillars of democracy, shattered in the West nowadays, nearly as well as in China, and for the same exact reasons, if not the same exact individuals, as I keep on saying, frantically evoking the gods of democracy, fully misunderstood, it not long dead…

If we don’t want to end down like the Putinreich, we have to fight everyday… In depth. Russians believe they are in democracy and Putin is their prophet…

Putin 2022 = Hitler 1936

January 23, 2022

What is the most important lesson we learn from history, when considering World War Two? That France should have fought Hitler in 1936. Similarly, we should fight Putin now… and for very similar reasons.

If France had fought Hitler in 1936, instead of waiting until 1939, and the fall of Spain, the French would have discovered a number of military tactics and equipment the Nazis refined in Spain during three years of war there (1936-1939). Among them, using the air force for ground support, putting radios in all and any tanks, the importance of aerial reconnaissance, and… amphetamines. The French military learned all of that in one week in the middle of May 1940. When they had finished their lessons, the Battle of France had been lost.

Had the French army fought the Nazis in Spain, it would have defeated them, and learned how to defeat Nazis. Yes the Spanish republicans were divided, as the Ukrainians now are.

Ferocious antagonism from London (with its Nazi king) and Washington (with its French envy plutocrat FDR at the helm), plus the Nazis organizing both the winter and summer Olympics, and the fact the left was in power in France, and a Jew to boot, made the French balk under pressure… They didn’t attack Hitler for invading Spain, and the Rhineland, and establishing a dictatorship in Germany. Big mistake.

We also learn that one man, the top general of the French army, could not have taken better decisions than those he took, in the service of the Nazis. Of course, he was an idiot who didn’t know the first thing about generalship (keep a reserve!). But there is more: Gameli’s crushing incompetency may not have been really accidental. Of his own admission, Gamelin was more worried in 1936 by Leon Blum, a Jew, Prime Minister of France and head of the “Front Populaire”… than by the Nazis. The incredible mess in which he deployed the French army in 1940, exposing it at Sedan, exactly where the Prussians had triumphed in 1870, is too blatant to be sheer incompetence.

All of this relates to Ukraine, including the treachorous aspect. Traitors are the more efficient, the more they are found in unexpected places.

Dictator Putin is the first invader in Europe since Hitler. Like Hitler, Putin won’t stop, and for the same reasons: he already went way too far, assassinating the opposition, instrumentalizing the entire state for his personal service and that of his goons. Putin also made his country an economic failure. At this point, Putin is fighting for his life, not just his own comfort. Differently from Biden, who can fear at most only insults from his opponents, Putin has committed serious crimes against the Republican constitution.

So Putin is more than just Putin: he has become a maleficent process, an avalanche of desires, with formidable mental inertia, burned bridges, and many bridges too far.

Moreover, Putin wrote explicitly that, actually, Ukraine meaning “border region“, it’s not actually a nation, but the border region of Moscow centric Russia. So naturally, he has been messing up Ukraine for more than a decade, lying his way through…

New York Times Jan. 22, 2022: Britain Says Moscow Is Plotting to Install a Pro-Russian Leader in Ukraine In a highly unusual public statement, backed by U.S. officials, London named the putative head of a potential puppet government but few other details.

The British government said Saturday that the Kremlin was developing plans to install a pro-Russian leader in Ukraine — and had already chosen a potential candidate — as President Vladimir V. Putin weighs whether to order the Russian forces amassed on Ukraine’s border to attack.

… Calling Putin “president” in 2022 is similar to calling Hitler “president and chancellor” (in one word, guide, Fuhrer) in 1936. Hitler had killed some of his opposition, so did Putin. Parliamentary elections were held in Germany on 29 March 1936. They took the form of a single-question referendum, asking voters whether they approved of the military occupation of the Rhineland and a single party list for the new Reichstag composed exclusively of Nazis and nominally independent ‘guests’ of the party. Like previous votes in the Nazi era, it was rigged, with a claimed turnout of 99% and 98.8% voting in favor. Putin does not rig as much, but enough, and has killed and jailed his main opposition.

New York Times: The highly unusual public communiqué by the United Kingdom’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office, issued late at night in London, comes at a moment of high-stakes diplomacy between the Kremlin and the West. Russia has deployed more than 100,000 Russian troops on Ukraine’s borders that could, according to American officials, attack at any moment. “The information being released today shines a light on the extent of Russian activity designed to subvert Ukraine, and is an insight into Kremlin thinking,” Liz Truss, Britain’s foreign secretary, said in a statement. “Russia must de-escalate, end its campaigns of aggression and disinformation, and pursue a path of diplomacy.”

The British announcement was the second time in just over a week that a Western power had publicly accused Russia of meddling in Ukraine’s internal affairs, part of a concerted effort to pressure Mr. Putin to de-escalate. On Jan. 14, the United States accused the Kremlin of sending saboteurs into eastern Ukraine to create a provocation that could serve as a pretext for invasion.

Dictator Putin made clear he wants to reconquer all the lands of imperial Russia to maximum extent: he calls the disappearance of the USSR the “greatest tragedy of the Twentieth Century”. Putin won’t stop with Ukraine, so he has to be stopped in Ukraine. Klar worse than Hitler in 1936!

In 1936, the Anglo-Saxons persuaded the French Republic NOT to fight for Republican Spain against dictators Mussolini and Hitler. Now we are confronting the dictators of Russia and Belarus, with Xi in the shadows, similar to Japanese dictator and emperor Hirohito in 1936.

Peace fanatics, now, at any cost, will suggest letting Putin invade Ukraine, hoping for no resistance.

However, the fact is Ukraine is a different country with a different history and a different language, so they would be condoning a crime.

The fact also is that Russia is a thermonuclear autocracy and thus automatically, a threat to world peace. By not rescuing our democratic neighbor, we are attacking ourselves.

And not least, if Putin occupied Ukraine, he would have to keep on moving for reasons similar to Hitler in World War Two (vast subject). There are other actors, in particular China. Also Europe would rearm. After all, Putin based, years ago, very dangerous missiles in the Kaliningrad Oblast…  (ex-Prussia)

When the Nazis rolled in, they always found locals to help them, because human beings are fundamentally predatory, and, if downtrodden in society, will try to exact vengeance. This is why many Jews were lilled in eastern Europe during the Nazi offensive: many local inhabitants killed Jews, independently of the Nazis, because they didn’t like them… as many Jews had been used by the… invading Soviets, prior to that.

Turns out Ann Frank was probably betrayed by a Jew. My family, on the other hand, who sheltered Jews quasi-industrially, was saved by someone who worked at the Grenoble Gestapo and gave them a warning (my grandparents had a cordial relationship with a Gestapo employee…)

So Putin will find plenty of arrivistes to help him establish tyranny in Ukraine….

Yes, the West is bad, a parody of democracy… But Putin is way worse.

A Ukrainian soldier at the border with Russia. With troops now deployed in Belarus, Putin threatens 4,000 kilometers of Ukrainian border. The Russians have deployed thousands of troops nearby and, according to a British assessment, are seeking to install a new government in Ukraine.

P/S: Since her December 2021 appointment as Germany’s new foreign minister, in the new German government, a cocktail of “Liberals”, “Socialists” and “Ecologists”, Annalena Baerbock reiterated her country’s refusal to supply arms to Ukraine, citing an “historical responsibility” not to deliver any weapons to crisis zones. Many Ukrainians were unimpressed by this argument and questioned why Germany’s sense of “historical responsibility” did not extend to the approximately eight million Ukrainians killed during WWII, thanks to German activity.

The argument shows that present day government Germans still do not get the main practical lesson from Nazism: when you see clear and definite evil of the worst type, you resist it by all and any means, and that means, weapons. One would hope that Germany would finally understand that armed resistance was the way out of Hitler, and, thus, sending weapons to a “crisis zone”. But no, not enough reading and percepting yet…

Did Biden Just Tell Putin To Attack Ukraine? That Would Make Sense: The US Deep State Loves Wars In Europe! Yet, It Would Be Better To Deter Putin…

January 21, 2022

On Wednesday 1/20/2022, US President Biden told a news conference that Mr Putin would pay a “serious and dear price” for invading Ukraine, but also indicated that it will depend on how Russia went about it. Maybe, after all, there would be… no price. That would be nice for the hundreds of millions of Europeans who depend upon the astounding quantities of liquids and gas that farting Russia provides them with.  Europe gets 40% of its gas, and 25% of its oil, from Russia (2022)… making all too many powerful Russians feel indispensable, and their ways, splendid.

What you’re going to see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades and it depends on what it does,” Biden said. “It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion, and then we end up having to fight about what to do and not do etc.

Thus Biden said that a “minor incursion” by Russia into Ukraine could make “we end up having a fight” with European allies about the appropriate response! Those comments flustered European leaders with their suggestion of divisions that could further embolden the aggressive imperialist, Mr. Putin

Biden, logic, and proper sentence constructing are different concepts… Biden also predicted that Mr Putin will “move in” to Ukraine anyway. To make sure that Putin got the hint, Biden said, speaking of Putin:”He has to do something!” Full sentence: “I’m not so sure he has, he’s certain what he’s going to do. My guess is he will move in. He has to do something.

Democratically elected Ukraine president Zelensky replied in a tweet: “There are no minor incursions. Just as there are no minor casualties and little grief from the loss of loved ones.”

Hey dictator Putin, Uncle Joe told you to do something! Remember Yalta, and before that, when Uncle Sam saved th skin of Uncle Joe? The other Joe, Stalin…

It’s freezing hard now in Ukraine… Finally… And Biden just gave the green light… For Putin’s “minor incursion“… Biden will apply minor sanctions, he hinted, thus, in practice, egging Putin on to attack… All that Putin worries about is to be able to sell his liquids and gas to Europe. Nothing else counts… relative to the great purpose of reconstituting imperial Russia… At its peak.

The US Deep State, a form of subconscious, and breathing or partying together, and also a business, the biggest business of them all, has long profited from wars in Europe. Starting in 1914-1918, then 1939-1945. The US was ambivalent: on June 1, 1914, Colonel House, right hand man of president Wilson, proposed a “racial” alliance to the Kaiser… against France!

As the world war started, US plutocrats provided to the Kaiser and his goons what they needed to pursue the war, while accumulating great profits… by breaking the Franco-British sea blockade. The short term profit motive was engaged, naturally. But the basic fact is that, while the two leading democracies, France and Britain, were fighting for their survival after being assaulted by the racist German dictatorship, US plutocrats were busy making a fortune from it, and the US government was betraying not just its allies and fellow democracies, but its parents and creators. In 1914-1917, the US was committing parricide, and again during the elaboration of the Versailles Treaty in 1919, and again in 1939-1941…

In 1939, 1940, even 1941, US plutocrats profited from countless deals with Hitler. Prescot Bush quit his position as manager of “my most important war corporation” (dixit Hitler), only in August 1942. IBM leased his computer to the Reich throughout the war: IBM, managed from New York, had the monopoly of computing in the Reich.

By 1945, all the victors were clients of the USA, depending on US big business to eat and reconstruct.

Is this the US Deep State at work?. Once again? The US Deep State, made of countless universities, foundations, and businesses which live in symbiosis with the US government may, out of habit, believe that it would love another war in Europe…

But nowadays, things are different. Twentieth Century wars were mostly fought by proxies and drastically weakened European democracies… As intended by the US Deep State. Now the US can’t hide, and nuclear bombs could cause in the USA, in a few minutes, the sort of devastation which Poland (unsupported by the US in 1939-1945, and betrayed in 1945) suffered in World War Two. In World War Two around 20% of the Polish population was killed (including dozens of thousands of the Polish elite at the hand to the Soviets so admired by Putin). That was around six million people. In the USA, nowadays, that would mean 70 million killed…

Now let’s be intellectually honest: the reason that the US Deep State betrayed France and Britain, its parents, and the leading democracies in 1914-1917 and 1939-1941 were multiple. There was, of course, the question that the USA was then a racist country (remember the work of MLK and the Kennedys, and even LBJ, to correct that, in the 1960s). Germany was racist, so the US, or at least its white leading classes, had great empathy for racist Prussianized Germany. More fundamentally even, the USA hoped to displace the European empire… as happened after 1945.

Now the latter point has been achieved, with America First and Amerika Uber Alles… The domineering instinct is still here, and pretty grotesque sometimes: consider the abrogation of Australian contracts with France in submarines and helicopters, under America First Biden. However, the US is only 350 million people, and Europe is closer to 600 million (excluding Russia, which is 146 million).

However, realism implies that the USA should make a strong alliance with NATO (30 countries; 945 million people…) and the European influence zone. Indeed to NATO one has to add the ex-European ex-empires (Commonwealth, French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.) which share lots of values in common (consider for example Brazil, and all the Americas…) So the time of abuse and Americanization in the guise of decolonization should be over. As Biden himself pointed out many times, a conflict between (representative) democracy and dictatorships is looming. A conflict between open, democratic societies and closed, fascist oligarchies.

Putin and his goons, Xi and his politburo, plus their propaganda machines are claiming, and have apparently persuaded themselves that the “West” is corrupt, weak and degenerating. They confuse the severe critique of progressives such as yours truly, with the superiority of their fascism… forgetting that one of the main arguments is the alliance of Western plutocrats with Russian and Chinese autocracies… The same maneuver of outrageous alliance of Western plutocrats with fascists as in 1914-1917 and 1933-1945 (IBM had the monopoly of computing with, and for, the Nazis, until 1945…)

So we have seen it before… Actually the fascist Lenin got the military alliance with the fascist Kaiser going as early as 1916… Lenin even joked about his alliance with the “capitalists”, aka plutocrats… “they are so greedy they would sell you the rope to hang them with“… The Harrimans would develop the Baku oil fields which enabled the USSR to defeat the Nazis…

Being persuaded of the weakness of democracy, because democracy argues with itself, was the mistake the Achaemenids Persians already made… As Persia discovered at Marathon, then Salamis and Platea… Among other enlightening battles… The Kaiser, and then Hitler, made the same mistake. Putin and Xi are repeating it presently.

Putin will understand one thing well, and only one: the inability to win. For several weeks, the ground in Ukraine was muddy. Then it became harder, but it snowed a lot and visibility was no good: what is the point of having aerial superiority, when one cannot see from the air?

Ukraine should be given anti-aircraft means, ASAP. To be able to defend itself. United Nations law recognizes the right to self-defense (and the right to help those who self-defend).

Because, after Ukraine, if a dictator is left to conquer it, in the name of ethnic purity, same as Hitler in 1936-1939, it will be the rest. And when the “West” threatens to switch to carbon free energy sources, Putin and, or his cultural successor(s) will be faced with the same dilemma as the Kaiser and his goons in 1912-1914: time was a wasting asset, militarily… Nothing to lose, let’s use it now. Having killed, poisoned, terrorized or jailed all his opponents, Putin, or his psychological successor(s) will have nothing to lose… Putin and, or, his goons just threatened the West with another Cuban missile crisis. Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the deployment’s possibility of nuclear missiles to Venezuela and Cuba “depends on the actions by our US counterparts”. This is a silly bluff, but indicative of a seriously delusional mindset in the Kremlin relative to the gullibility of the Western population.

Russian tanks deploying in Putin Occupied Crimea, Tuesady 18 January, 2022:

“We know that there are plans in place to increase that [Russian] force even more on very short notice, and that gives President Putin the capacity, also on very short notice, to take further aggressive action against Ukraine,” US Sec of State Blinken said on 1/20/2022.

Nota Bene: In an article the New York considered consequences of Biden’s “minor incursion” proposal.

Biden Strengthens Words on Ukraine After Flustering European Partners

After the president laid bare divisions over Russian meddling in Ukraine, his administration scrambled to get on the same page with European allies.

Michael Crowley and

BERLIN — President Biden on Thursday strengthened his warning to Russia about a potential attack on Ukraine, saying that any movement of Russian units across the Ukrainian border would be taken as an invasion, a day after the president triggered alarm in European capitals with his suggestion of divisions among allies.

I sent a first comment, critical of the US Deep State misadvising Biden, which was censored… and then, understanding that my critique of the Deep State had been censored, I sent a second comment, which was also censored. Here it is:

The US profited from WW1 and WW2 in several ways… in both cases intervening too late to enable the democracies to nip in the bud the fascist violations of civilization.

Cynics could argue that it could well be a US tradition to favor war in Europe, hence the trial balloon of the “minor incursion”. Or maybe it was not a trial balloon?

This, that US institutions do not look too unfavorably to war in Europe, is a subject which is very hard to evoke in the US cultural sphere. One is immediately considered a “conspiracy theorist”. However, the fact is clear that, after 1945, the US displaced Europe. Worldwide. Yalta was also very clear: over the objections of France (not invited) and Britain (invited but furious), the US administration decided to give half of Europe to Stalin (then an accord was made by the dying FDR with Ibn Saud) .

Fortunately Biden seems inclined to express solidarity with democratic Europe, this time… It’s not the Suez crisis of 1956, when the USSR invaded Hungary, killing 40,000+, and threatening London and Paris with atom bombing while the US was condemning France and Britain in the UN General Assembly (yes, amazing, but it can be readily checked).

So Biden slipped, and corrected himself the next day… The main problem remains, though, that Europe depends energetically upon Russia. And the worst is that this will not stop: Putin makes no mystery that he would be happy to reconquer the entire Russian empire at its maximal extent (“USSR”)…

I view this sort of censorship as extremely despicable, and I claim that it should be unlawful. Who elected Mr. Erlanger and Crowley to adjudicate the level of thinking and knowledge the general population should be exposed to? Who, what, authorize them to force the level of considerations they hold, barely higher than gossip, to be the limit of what the population should be exposed. Or then, as agents of US plutocracy, how come do they get also support from the government and thus taxpayers, with the special prerogatives they have, as journalists?

In particular, unelected censors Erlanger and Crowley block the apparition of the concept of “Deep State“… Also known as “established, institutionalized plutocracy“. Since they are employees of it, and its existence depends upon not being noticed, and not being theorized about… There is a clear ethical conflict.

Much Ado About Nothing January 6: Politicians Are Machiavellian, Or Are Not.

January 19, 2022

US Congress Chief Pelosi Is Machiavellian… So Is Putin. Not understanding this makes us sitting ducks:

Not a surprise: politicians have to be Machiavellian, even when they are puppets. In other words, they lie. Machiavelli, a high level official, wrote at a time of great trouble and great creativity in Italy. He was ultimately sacked by plutocrats, the Medici, taking over his native Florence. Machiavel first flattered the tyrannical Medici and served them. Later they arrested him for treason and tortured him with the strappado… but he didn’t confess.

Machiavel’s hero worship was centered on Caesare Borgia, nephew to his uncle the Pope, Cardinal in his teens, later would-be dictator of Italy, and ultimately a complete failure who died in an obscure combat in Spain.

The chief of the majority party in the USA is called the “Speaker”. Right now it’s Nancy Pelosi, an eighty something crafty arrivist who is a plutocrat in her own right. Pelosi thinks elected politicians should be able to own shares of company and trade… A practice the progressives and even the Congress Republicans now oppose (they want politicians to use blind trusts).

Pelosi has launched prosecutions for what she and her minions call the “insurrection” of January 6, when Congress was breached while in session to validate the presidential election, under the presidency of the US Vice-President (an arcane, redundant procedure).

Nancy forgot to inquire about the main perpetrator, herself, standing in the shadows. Even the New Pork Times admitted this:

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/13/us/politics/capitol-police-riot-report.html

New York Times: “WASHINGTON — The Capitol Police had clearer advance warnings about the Jan. 6 attack than were previously known, including the potential for violence in which “Congress itself is the target.” But officers were instructed by their leaders not to use their most aggressive tactics to hold off the mob, according to a scathing new report by the agency’s internal investigator.

In a 104-page document, the inspector general, Michael A. Bolton, criticized the way the Capitol Police prepared for and responded to the mob violence on Jan. 6.”

***

Everybody expected some trouble on January 6, because dozens of millions of somewhat dispossessed Americans increasingly do not believe the authorities, nor even that they need to be submitted to authorities. The wealth of the lower half of the country had augmented under Trump’s “America First” doctrine, and they were severely disappointed to be back under blatantly plutocratic rule.

An example of such blatant plutocracy is the Secretary of State, Blinken, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, never elected, and now in charge of saving democracy by confronting the several times “elected” thermonuclear dictator of Russia.

Much ado about nearly nothing on January 6, then: the principal is not even under official suspicion. Disguising bait and switch, fully removing from view aiding and abetting, is part of the art known as Machiavellianism…

If Pelosi wanted to be safe on January 6 2021, she had to have riot police at the Capitol. It was in her power, and only in her power, to do so. And it was her responsibility. But that would have been honest and naive, and Pelosi is neither.

Pelosi did not want riot police, not because she was not aware of wacko demonstrators, but precisely because she was. Pelosi’s obvious computation was Machiavellian 101. She wanted to give an “insurrection” a chance… by NOT trying to prevent it. Her choice. Not Trump’s. That’s the brutal reality.

Not one canister of tear gas was used January 6. Demonstrators mostly walked into the Capitol, unopposed.

So can we stop with the naivety of believing that someone who made an immense fortune while pretending to have at heart the interest of the lowest lives, is actually telling the truth for once, and was a total idiot that day… with its consequences which advantaged her so much?

Pelosi’s smarts are only relative to the stupidity of her gullible followers.

Young investors on TikTok, including @ceowatchlist, @quicktrades and @irisapp, are using House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s stock trading disclosures as inspiration for where to invest themselves. One user called Pelosi the market’s “biggest whale,” while another called her the “queen of investing.”

***

This, in general, is the problem of the so-called “left” in the USA or overseas… And the so-called “ecologists” have the same problem: insufficient smarts. Dumbness helps neither progress nor civilization.

Pelosi is a smart arriviste promoting her family, friends, and social milieu. She is not Martin Luther King, nor the Kennedys, nor even Eisenhower, or FDR. FDR was a plutocrat, but he practiced an “America First” doctrine (so did his mentor and relative Teddy). We have sunk so low that even Nixon arguably looks more patriotic and more of a progressive…

Pelosi got used to get away with dastardly deeds, and thus upped the ante. Putin is a similar case, with 4,000 thermonuclear warheads at the ready. That makes Putin’s case much more vital than Pelosi’s… who is more like a cockroach, grabbing what she can and scurying back in the dark.

Machiavelli claimed that his experience and reading history showed that politics have always been played with deception, treachery, and crime. A ruler who established a state, with dastardly deeds, including violence, should be excused when the intention and the result is beneficial. The likes of Pelosi and Putin hypnotize themselves with this sort of excuse.

In the case of Russia, dastardly deeds and violence with the goal of ultimate benefit to Moscovian Rus, has become psychologically institutionalized… in the last six centuries… So Putin is in a grand old tradition. Pelosi is from a more recent plutocracy, US based, which modulo two world wars it expertly enabled in a timely manner, came to rule the world, in collaboration with local potentates: Stalin, Mussolini, Hirohito, Hitler, and countless other potentates since… including Russian “oligarchs”. An oligarch claimed in 2007 had it that Putin has stashed 40 billion dollars in Switzerland, and other western countries just in case… After the Swiss president talked to him, Putin stopped invading Georgia… The inner circle of Putin is full of billionaires. Over the years, many of these Russian oligarchs came to own  enormous assets in the West…

Intrinsically, politicians, “elected” or not, believe that they are special, above all others, and can decide for millions, if not billions. Was there ever greater arrogance? That’s how it all starts, with psychologies owning the world. Trading on their careers is natural. Are we culprit? Yes, after all, we have let being elected to political office become a career.

However these are crucial times: a sixth mass extinction has started and looks hard to stop. Maybe we should remove that intrinsic corruption of giving too much power to too small a group? With modern means of communication and debate, the time has come to change politics into something more direct without greedy intermediaries whom absolute power corrupts absolutely.

In 1994, a deal was made according to which the security of Ukraine was insured, for all times to come. In exchange, Ukraine surrendered its enormous nuclear weapons arsenal to Moscow. What should have been done at the time was to enforce nuclear weapons quasi-disarmement. Also the position of Russia as a permanent member of the United Nation Security Council, while the USSR had been dissolved, should have been questioned. Putin claims that Ukraine is Russia. But then why was 100% of the weaponry of the USSR and diplomatic prerogative given to Russia?

All these problems were easy to predict. Why they were left free to enfold is, in no small manner, presumably due to the deeply rooted belief in the US establishment, that war is always beneficial. Right. Against lesser and or decrepit adversaries… And through proxies… But this is now, and now is different.

Origins Of PUTIN’s OUTRAGEOUS TYRANNICAL LIES And Why To Resist Them.

January 17, 2022

Putin claims that Moscow created Slavic civilization, thus the Kremlin owns it. Putin is cogent and historically detailed about this, and no doubt sufficiently so to use it as an argument to justify his greatest wish: reverse what he called the greatest tragedy of the Twentieth Century, the disappearance of a small fraction of the Kremlin’s empire. Yes, the greatest tragedy of the Twentieth Century was not the Holocaust, not World War One And Two, but, the liberation of nations subjugated by Moscow … Putin adressing Russia as its elected president in 2005 said:

First and foremost it is worth acknowledging that the demise of the Soviet Union was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century. As for the Russian people, it became a genuine tragedy. Tens of millions of our fellow citizens and countrymen found themselves beyond the fringes of Russian territory…. The epidemic of collapse has spilled over to Russia itself…

So reconstituting the Russian empire at its fullest extent is Putin’s true aim. Never mind that Russia, as it is, is the world’s largest empire, 70% larger than China, itself an occupier… Naturally enough, as Putin started his career in the KGB, the Soviet Gestapo, and rose to its pinnacle… the Russian empire is never large enough. However, polls indicate that young Russians increasingly do not feel that reconstituting the genocidal USSR or fascist imperial Russia in its full glory, is worth undertaking as a primary objective. After all, the Russian economy is getting poorer (over the last decade or so, in nominal GDP… not in PPP), and it heavily depends upon exporting fossil fuels to Western Europe (the part of natural resources in the Russian economy is between a third and two-thirds, depending upon the exact metric one uses…)

Thus what Putin feels is that it is now or never to bring Kiev back under Moscow’s claw. Moreover, he needs a war to simmer just so, to justify his tyranny

The articulation of Putin’s posture is that Moscow owns Kiev, and he deduces this by looking at history… his way. Putin goes into a lot of details, but they obscure the lay of the logical land.

Reality is the opposite: Ukraine is much older than Putin’s “Moscovia”, and thus should not be owned by it. Ukraine was also founded in a highly cosmopolitan way (whereas Russia was axed on conquering savages with the most savage means… Peter the great would agree with this statement). Crimea was always central to Ukraine. Vladimir conquered Crimea and converted to Christianity there (Tenth Century). What follows is just a cursory treatment of history. I will expound another time how a Moscow based control of Ukraine, supposed to last two years by a 17C treaty… turned into four centuries…

Rus princess Anne of Kiev, daughter of Yaroslav the Wise, Grand Prince of Kiev and Prince of Novgorod, and his second wife Ingegerd Olofsdotter of Sweden, married the twice-widowed king Henry I of France (19 May 1051 CE). One idea was to gain Ukrainian support against the (non-Francia part of the) Roman empire, another was to marry outside of the Frankish aristocracy. Their son King Philip I, was born in 1052. The name ‘Philip’ was rare in Francia prior to that time, and was likely inspired by Saint Philip who converted Scythia, an area identified with Kyivan Rus’ in the Middle Ages (somewhat accurate until its conquest by Rus Viking, Rus meaning eastern Sweden…). After her husband’s death, Anne ruled France. She spoke half a dozen languages and looked down on France in cultural matters.

Anna’s signature in Cyrillic on royal charters from the 1060s is the only known example of a Capetian queen’s signature on parchment and the only known (pre-13th century) signature of a member of the Riurykide dynasty. It is the oldest extant example of Old Ukrainian handwriting.

Moscow was created centuries after Ukraine became a major European power. The timber fort na Moskvě “on the Moscow river” was inherited by Daniel, the youngest son of Alexander Nevsky, in the 1260s. At the time the least valuable of his father’s possessions. Daniel was still a child, and the fort was governed by tiuns (deputies), appointed by Daniel’s paternal uncle, Yaroslav of Tver.

By 1304, Yury of Moscow contested with Mikhail of Tver for the throne of the principality of VladimirIvan I eventually defeated Tver to become the sole collector of taxes for the Mongol rulers, making Moscow the capital of Vladimir-Suzdal. By paying high tribute, Ivan won an important concession from the Khan of the Golden Horde.

The growth of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania began to threaten the arrangement, and the Khan strengthened Moscow to counterbalance Lithuania, allowing it to become one of the most powerful cities in Russia, However, by 1380-1480, Moscow fought the Mongols.

Kiev resisted the Mongols and was destroyed by them, razed to the ground (1240 CE; for throwing out the bodies of Mongol ambassadors). Kiev became a part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania after the Battle at Blue Waters in 1362, when AlgirdasGrand Duke of Lithuania, beat a Golden Horde army. During the period between 1362 and 1471, the city was ruled by Lithuanian princes. Crimean Tatars attacked several times and in 1482 Kiev was destroyed again by Crimean Khan Meñli I Giray

Moscow grew initially from being an agent of the Mongols, adopting the ways of the invaders, and then, later, beating them at their own game… On one side, collaboration, then imitation, on the the other, the resistance of Kiev, to death, and subsequent revolts, starting a generation before Moscow…

Putin plays with the ancient names of various jurisdictions to claim Ukraine never existed before “Moscovian Rus“, and came into being after Moscow… when in truth Ukraine is twice older than the Moscovian tyranny. The game of changing names can be played in all and any place in Europe.

The truth about Moscow’s institutionalized spirit is that it loves militarized fascism. Why? Dictatorship was highly successful in making Moscow and its dependencies the planet’s largest land empire. Tyranny can be ruthless, which is best for colonization and replacing original natives by invaders. The price to be paid by this colonizing focus has been mental backwardness and looking at the world in a fascist way, through only a few ideas and emotions, enforced by a closed society, the exact opposite of what was supposed to be Athens’ civilizational model (Athens proclaimed itself an open society, 25 centuries ago, under the influence of Aspasia, the wife and philsopher pulling the strings of Pericles…).

Open against closed societies, plus nukes: not a good mix. But we must resist, as the Moscow dictatorship and the twinged with evil bellicose mindset discarding humanities, which has been so profitable to the Russian empire, will keep asking for more, as they fail in most other ways. To stay open, enlightened societies have to fight their closed predatory neighbors, lest the dark side wins it all. This is more true than ever, now that spaceship Earth has become a big village.

US COVID Experts’ Expertise: World Death Record, Towering Personal Wealth

January 16, 2022

Granted, how COVID deaths are recorded, or estimated, varies. Granted, population with more older people have higher percentage of COVID deaths. Yet, the differences worldwide are striking… and real. India, after apocalyptic predictions, went completely the other way, admittedly with a younger population, and got out of the pandemic by the end of 2021. The USA, led by the noisy privileged Dr. Fauci [0], who interacted with the Wuhan Institute of Virology in the domain of modifying bat viruses, fared worst with COVID. No argument: the numbers speak for themselves:

The USA has the world wealthiest, and most incompetent epidemiological experts, objective numbers of per capita death show. It is easy to figure out a relationshionship between wealth, corruption and deliberate incompetency. What about a criminal inquiry?

Why did this happen? Not protecting the most vulnerable populations: see “Democratic” governor Cuomo in New York, refusing the ship Mercy offered by “Republican” president Trump, and, instead stuffing back COVID patients in old folks’ homes…. where they promptly got infected and died.

Another factor has been naive overdependency on lockdowns and the efficiency of masks in confined enclosures after a few minutes. The epidemological graphs are very clear: social distancing without masks worked, but, with masks, social distancing did not work. It’s paradoxical, but logical, as a micrometric mask can’t stop a nanometric virus.

General lockdowns have not been shown to work, and have many very adverse effects. In some countries (France), citizens were prevented from accessing the grand outdoors, national parks, empty beaches, etc. Clear fascism devoid of rationality of the sort even Twentietch Century fascists never dreamed of imposing onto their own populations [1]…

For the elite establishment, the advantages of this COVID disaster have been multiple, and not just from greater profits, by getting rid of expensive workers. A foremost advantage of COVID for the elite has been the disrespect of one’s own reasoning capability stupid mandates allegedly against COVID have provided with. When something creates a good feeling, people try their best to make that something come around. Imposing fascism always makes elites feel good. COVID has been excellent that way, for the elites.

Elites have always an interest in fascizing the population, hence always favor the Authority Principle. COVID has provided an occasion to do so, in the name of health, atruism.

The general population has been inculcated with the notion that obeying blindly to very stupid orders is highly moral. Resisting such a (stupid) Authority Principle was not just immoral, illegal, “right wing”, thus racist… But even that those who resist the Authority Principle are “terrorists”. The day after I and others pointed out that nobody had been indicted for “sedition” or “insurrection” in the USA, eleven persons were charged that way (as I had predicted they would be). Including a Naval Veteran, long retired with 100% disability, an elderly gentleman who walks with a cane…

Even Harvard historians are aghast that citizens protesting the government are now charged with “terrorism”. “I’m surprised but not shocked,” Noah Feldman, a Harvard legal historian, said about the sedition charges on Thursday. “It’s a hard charge to prove. And it has this distinctive history of being used by governments who overreached in prosecuting their citizens.”

Ah, if even Harvard is turning against the establishment, that is, itself, something is happening. Distinctive history of overreach? Is the USA going the way of Putin’s Russia? In Putin’s Reich basically all opponents have been charged with “sedition”.

[0} Dr. Fauci’s household is worth more than 10.5 million dollars, in stock investments alone… and earned 1.7 million in 2020. His wife Christine Grady is the chief bio-ethicist at the National Institutes of Health (no nepotism, circulate…).

Dr. Fauci is the top-paid federal employee earning a base salary of $434,312 in 2020. Fauci is the Director of the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and current Chief Medical Advisor to the President. Fauci out-earned the U.S. president ($400,000); four-star generals in the military ($282,000); and roughly 4.3 million other federal employees.

But it does not stop there. During the pandemic year of 2020, the Fauci household income, perks and benefits, and unrealized gains totaled $1,782,807 — including federal income and benefits of $868,812; outside royalties and travel perks totaling $119,626; and investment accounts increasing by $794,369.

However, critics say that Fauci was funding research that was actually creating pandemic pathogens in labs that, if leaked or if fell into the wrong hands, might create the very human pandemic they were trying to prevent.

Something like that happened in France, with two prion deaths. France immediately closed 9 labs, as the situation is studied carefully. Prions, which are infective, chain reaction proteins, create some neurological diseases similar to Alzheimer.

The case of the wealthy Fauci household is general: the reason US health care cost so much is that the medical and pharmaceutical establishment is made of wealthy individuals… Once, long ago, a doctor made more than six million dollars, from Medicare alone… It made a scandal at the time…

[1] French authorities claimed that it was a principle of equity to not let some citizens access the outdoors when others could not. Let you, the rabble, all be poor at the same time, in the same way…

The hypocrisy was colossal, as the established elite had to respect none of that. In the United Kingdom, while the government imposed French-like fascist lockdowns, booze and maskless parties rocked 10 Downing street, the seat of the UK government, one after the other, and ministers evaded restrictions. The UK Prime Minister, opportunisitic Brexiter Johnson, presented his apology to the plutocrat-in-chief, the Queen (sorry, your highness, to have shown our privileged hand to the rabble).

In the USA, the abundance of the private jet industry, with 1.2 million employees, was in no way affected by all the lockdown silliness imposed on the bleating plebs. Exclusive ski resorts blossomed.

Obsessed By Clean Air

January 15, 2022

Clean Air Is What We Need, Not Just Vaccines:
After censoring earlier observations of mine on masks, the NYT finally published this:

After the cholera epidemics of the Nineteenth Century, a conclusion imposed itself: cities needed clean water. After COVID, a conclusion is that we need clean air. We have the technology: High Efficiency Particle Air, HEPA filters can eliminate most of the viruses and bacteria from the air, using Van Der Waals forces. Masks cannot do that. HEPA filters should be mandatory everywhere.

Without HEPA, viruses build up in the air, and then circumvent masks’ fibers. So mask or no mask, in an enclosed room, after two hours, if one person exudes viruses, everybody catches said virus (N95 means 95% efficiency at 300 nanometers; but the virus is 100 nanometers, and 95% is not 99.97% anyway… The latest number is what HEPA filters achieve… On their first pass…), Not taking any of this in consideration explains the lamentable results of some countries with COVID. One can compare comparables.

The USA and its CDC, with their armies of well paid “experts”, have fared badly…. compared to some comparable countries. While the vaccine development has been remarkable, especially the mRNA vaccines, the mask mandates have been ineffective. That can be seen epidemiologically. Just today the CDC finally agreed that many masks worn in the US don’t work very well. Telling what peer reviewed articles said on the subject causes censorship in social media.

Living with pandemics cannot be avoided: too many people, too much travel. A good mitigation strategy is HEPA filters everywhere. They are cheap.

@Patrice Ayme You are obsessed with Hepa filters. That is one small part of the equation; not the most important. The most important factor with Covid is its biology. The way it behaves is erratic and in a way it has a mind of its own. This is why all the experts have been wrong now for two years, not only in this country but throughout the world. This disease has to be controlled as a prn basis and with support services until it peter out as it is doing now. The hysteria has to stop. This viral disease is not cholera which can be controlled and treated with appropriate antibiotics and environmental and social issues.

Well, literally, air filtration of viruses and bacteria is antibiotic… anti-bio: against life. Another comment on the preceding was authorized:

Your points are valid, but Patrice is right about the masks and air filtration.

Peer reviewed articles have show that masks, as used in the USA can be five times worse than… no mask (the CDC is still in denial of that). As a result France, and other European governments, outlawed nearly all mask types, more than a year ago. Millions of masks were destroyed.

At face value, the US expert establishment connected to the CDC is arguably the worst… in the world. Just look at the numbers.

MASK MASQUERADE KILLS

Fauci, in an explosion of hubris, said that “attacking him was attacking science”. No, it’s attacking corruption in science. NIH called “gain of function” by a slightly different name, and then proceeded to finance the Wuhan Insititute of Virology to do just that on many species of bat corona viruses… While knowing the lab was not respecting the level 4 (maximal) safety necessary to do this. Whether that caused the pandemic or not is not sure. What is sure, is that it was, per se, a criminal act.

We need clean air!
