Big Tech, Big Thieves! Demolition of Patent Law By Big Tech Thieves

July 31, 2020

One could call me a technology fanatic: I believe that only the most advanced technology will save humanity, the planet, not to say the cosmos (from its otherwise boring state). High education is the greatest wealth there is… after love. In my case, much of this cognitive wealth is the fruit of a mood I inherited from generations of my ancestors, on both sides of the Mediterranean.

I am fully aware that science and philosophy is nothing without tech. We have enslaved the planet, so we don’t need to put Homo on the menu on a regular basis.

Higher education is never the fruit of greed, because it costs too much. Many of the titans of Big Tech are rather uneducated, they tend to be like leeches, critters which think barely enough to be experts at bloodsucking.  Tech titans tend to be rather uneducated, because they were conferred by the big imperial US racist government huge powers to spy on, and manipulate the minds of We The People, worldwide.

An illustration of the brutish force of plutocracy, is Bill Gates; born wealthy, this college drop-out got his big breakthrough from his mom, an IBM director, and doubles his power with the Gates Foundation, a deceiving and defeating outfit which demonstrated its nocivity during the recent pandemic: while Bill Gates was getting love letter from his collaborator, Xi, the Chinese dictator, millions got sick and brain damaged. Gates Foundation steals tax dollars not going to serious biomedical research, instead it interferes with government and serves Gates (be it just by investing in Gates’ investments).
Gates extends his power all over media, propagandizing for China’s dictator. He is evil-power (pluto-kratia) personified. NBC loves Gates: it is controlled by Comcast, itself controlled by the Roberts plutocratic family, small potatoes relative to Gates, thus anxious to please him.

Big Tech, in a coordinated action, censored Medical Doctors on 7/27/2020 (the videos were “removed for violating community guidelines”). The presentation of some treatments used massively in countries where the ratio of deaths relative to the number of COVID cases is very low was blocked as “unscientific” (Turkey, India, Saudi Arabia, Russia, etc.). Donald Trump Junior and the lawyer of Flynn (a former Federal Prosecutor) were also banned from Twitter… For having mentioned Hydroxychloroquine. There is direct evidence that Big Tech hates Trump and will do anything to not get him re-elected.

The following was also censored by Big Tech: the (scientifically established, and scientifically understood) fact that children are little at risk to get or transmit the disease when they are in elementary school (this is due to the low density of ACE2 receptors in little children).

This is a dramatic demonstration of the Big Power of so-called Big Tech: although many of its leaders have not even a college degree, it can decide what medical science is.

Things are not what common people think they are. By attacking Trump in the most grotesque and racist fashion, corrupt democrats (not all democrats are corrupt), prevented Trump to destroy the tech monopolies. In that picture, Twitter’s Jack Dorsey (a billionaire made up by Wall Street, not profits), and receiver of the Medal of Freedom Gates are missing… More than 80 giant US multinationals are suspected of using Chinese slave labor

Zuckerberg, Mr. Sugar (Zucker) mountain (Berg), said he employs 35,000 censors (“content moderators”), or maybe more… plus 70 “fact checker” companies around the world.  Sugar Mountain also claims that there is no bias. However, Google employs a “fringe ranking”, and censors the fringe automatically. That is tantamount to censoring progress, as all and any progress starts as “fringe”.

On July 29, 2020, Congressman Gaetz brought up Google’s “fringe ranking”: “Who gets to decide what’s ‘fringe?’” Gaetz posited. “You said, ‘We don’t manually intervene on any particular search result,‘” Gaetz said in reference to a Dec. 11 hearing in front of the House Judiciary Committee. “But leaked memos obtained by the Daily Caller show that that isn’t true. In fact, those memos were altered Dec. 3 just a week before your testimony and they describe a ‘deceptive news blacklist.’” Gaetz was talking to Pichai, the CEO of Google/Alphabet… who has Pichai’s compensation for 2019 was more than $280 million, topping the $200 million he received in 2016.

Some of my ideas about racism, now made mainstream by Black Lives Matter, were considered as “fringe”, or even “unique”, and censored accordingly (I actually exchanged with censors… more than a decade ago!).

Under the preceding two US administrations, Big Tech was able to modify Patent Law to its advantage. Now plaintiffs have to demonstrate first they suffered economically before asking for legal relief, when Big Tech steals their inventions; thus new inventions have little economic value for individuals in the US nowadays. Obama was so ill informed, he thought he was helping “practicing entities” when he righteously pushed for that.

These plutocratic corporations led by plutocrats know only one thing: power. They use an armada of tax avoiding “foundations”, “initiatives”, “not-for-profits”, to increase their power. And they leverage their power with politicians anxious for future income. Who needs money when one can have absolute power?

Pluto-kratia is evil-power. Big tech has been violating the spirit, if not the letter, many laws. It can keep on doing this only by exercising its power in even more evil ways. That’s a vicious circle. Rockefeller controlled too much oil, so his company was broken up. Today’s plutocrats do not control oil, but minds. It’s worse.

***

The first thing to do to fight Big Tech’s ever increasing monopoly powers, is to revert Patent Law to what it is supposed to be: a monopoly granted by the state in exchange for making one’s invention available to the world. As it is, US Patent Law has been changed, in a process started in 2006, but expanded under Obama, in something where the inventor has to show “economic injury” if her invention is stolen (that is, the invention is used, while not compensating the inventor for usage). Big Tech can immediately argue that no “economic injury” has been sustained by its usage of others’ inventions… as the inventor didn’t make money from it… since Big Tech did. So no inventor can go see a lawyer to ask for remedy: both the inventor and the lawyer would lose time and energy, to no avail: they were not previously injured economically. This has enabled Big Tech to steal others’ invention with complete impunity… especially when an invention has been patented, that is, published with full explanations on how to make the invention (patenting is itself a long and costly process involving specialized agents and, or attorneys).

BIG TECH CAN CORRUPT FEDERAL MAGISTRATES BIG TIME:

Who can resist five million dollars? Well, I personally know the case of a federal judge who did not resist…

Indeed, another strategy Big Tech uses is to systematically sue into extinction small companies and inventors who don’t submit. I know of the case of a tiny company who was sued frivolously by a large tech company (it was basically sued for using its own inventions!) The tiny company won a jury trial, but the (Federal) magistrate did not force the tech giant to pay for the lawyers’ fees. That was a Friday morning. Friday afternoon, the ex-judge, who had just resigned, accepted a five million dollar compensation package from another tech giant.

The highly innovative electronic CPU engineering company was pushed into bankruptcy. To this day its engineers, who were ruined, have been unable to invent as they used to. They live in Colorado, but fed crucial electronic know-how to Silicon Valley (the federal magistrate who got bought was in San Jose). Such engineers are not greedy college drop-outs such as Gates of Hell and the Sugar Mountain: they have done years of studies after college, they have Masters, PhDs… The judge’s corruption reduced many professionals crucial for the survival of civilization to destitution. They suffered, and are still suffering: some have still basically no income, and reduced savings. But even more, civilization suffered, because innovation got struck to the core (full disclosure: I was directly involved, that’s why I know the case so well; I did not write any names yet, but I remember them well; the five million dollar bribe was given by one of the companies dragged to the US Congress, 7/30/2020… But Congress has no idea that US judges can be bought, and have been bought… Hopefully this writing will help it get on the radar…)

***

The last way Big Tech rules, is simply by swallowing small companies whole… after various threats… That was covered in Congress 7/30/2020… But common people go to jail for much less than that: remember George Floyd, and his fake twenty dollar bill? So how come the Tech titans, having stolen billions are not arrested and stomped on too? Systemic plutocracy!

Mind control by Big Tech monopolies is proceeding apace.

Plutocratic monopolization is how civilizations get destroyed: look at Rome… In the end Rome was unable to think out of the oligarchic box it was stuck into. And the oligarchs prefer to negotiate with the barbarian invaders rather than doing the right thing, and restore the powers of the Roman Republic.

Krugman’s New Trade Theory Would Be Idiotic, Were It Not So Criminal, Enslaving Us All To China

June 9, 2020

A problem preventing progress in the USA, thus the world is that plutocracy masters (and owns) the media, the universities, the international prizes, international organizations, and the intellectual discourse, even the haughtiest (as I have argued all top philosophy is in its grip, over as a vaccine against progress, rather than as a treatment against progress).

A famous example, the self-described “Conscience of a Liberal”, Paul Krugman. I stopped arguing with him, a few years ago, because I was tired of his censorship, and I was hoping Trump would demolish Krugman’s great work, GLOBAL PLUTOCRACY, and becoming all slaves to China. Krugman got the Nobel for his “New Trade Theory”. There have been Trade theories and practices since before the Bronze Age Era, the civilization of which collapsed spectacularly, and simultaneously, 33 centuries ago.

Trade is engaged into for a myriad of complex reasons, from the point of a lance poking one’s behind, to “comparative advantage”. Trade was a matter of survival for hundreds of thousands of years, as local tribes couldn’t get that obsidian, or flintlock from far away, that is, necessary material to make superior weaponry. So much of trade theory consists into rediscovering the obvious and long-well-known.

Even if it worked, NTT would work only between similarly sized countries. But China is much bigger, 40 tiimes bigger than the average country in population. I guess Krugman is reading that her for the first time…. And because it’s a dictatorship organized by US plutocrats, another type of dictators, decorated fro freedom by Obama, China is alway first, an advantage NTT venerates…

In NTT Krugman focused on returns afforded by scale. The bigger the industrial corporation, the cheaper quality/price it can fabricate goods. Krugman loves to talk in non understandable ways, here is on his own work: “The idea that trade might reflect an overlay of increasing-returns specialization on comparative advantage was not there at all: instead, the ruling idea was that increasing returns would simply alter the pattern of comparative advantage.” Whatever, the “Conscience of a Liberal” tries to obscure his evil work with what he calls “wonkish”.

New trade theory suggests that the ability of firms to gain economies of scale (unit cost reductions associated with a large scale of output) can have important implications for international trade… namely you will wallop the competition.

New trade theory suggests that:

a)through its impact on economies of scale, trade can increase the variety of goods available to consumers and decrease the average cost of those goods.

b) in those industries when output required to attain economies of scale represents a significant proportion of total world demand, the global market may only be able to support a small number of enterprises.

c) Government may play a role in assisting its home based companies. This implies that all jobs will go to China, a dictatorship. Indeed, Chinese companies can achieve the largest scale: their interior market is nearly five times the US. Also it’s OK that China intervenes to assist its own behemoths: see point c).

Reading this, Stalin may have ordered Krugman send to Siberia for plagiarism. Stalin used to say:”Quantity is its own quality”. (He was referring to T34 tanks and planes, many of them from the US…) My point? none of this is new. What’s new is for richly educated economists (as they serve the rich) to discover those old truths.

As most Western European countries have no scale, they are just Hong Kong without financials, they will only be nations of “consumers”. But where will their money come from? Will they have to sell their children to the Chinese dictatorship?

“Variety And Reducing Costs” (one more lie!)

Without trade, nations might not be able to produce those products where economies of scale are important. With trade, markets are large enough to support the production necessary to achieve economies of scale. So, trade is mutually beneficial because it allows for the specialization of production, the realization of scale economies, and the production of a greater variety of products at lower prices.

NTT is either geographically challenged idiotic… Or takes us for geographically challenged idiots. His idiotic reasoning works only if the trading partners are all of the same size, roughly, and of the same political nature. But they are not. The average country population is only 35 millions, and the median country population is less than ten million, a fraction of one percent of the size of China.

NTT is correct that the pattern of trade we observe in the world economy may be the result of first mover advantages (the economic and strategic advantages that accrue to early entrants into an industry) and economies of scale.

New trade theory suggests that for those products where economies of scale are significant and represent a substantial proportion of world demand, first movers can gain a scale based cost advantage that later entrants find difficult to match. The US and China have been acting accordingly, while piously preaching the opposite, namely economic liberalism, open borders. An excellent example is SpaceX, launched under Bush, which received billions under Obama, under the table (and above the table, from Trump). Now Space X excellent products will destroy all and any aerospace industry, worldwide… except in the countries which decide to have their own aerospace (China, Russia, India… others not clear…).

Official Implications Of New Trade Theory:

Nations may benefit from trade even when they do not differ in resource endowments or technology (so the Europeans have been persuaded to open to China and the US, because they may benefit… just like a fly may benefit from being devoured by a spider).

A country may dominate in the export of a good simply because it was lucky enough to have one or more firms among the first to produce that good (as we Americans are always first we shall DOMINATE, because we dominated first). Bing first becomes a respected form of comparative advantage (watch Tesla opening a giant plant in Germany next year).

An extension of the theory is the implication that governments should consider strategic trade policies that nurture and protect firms and industries where first mover advantages and economies of scale are important.

If progressives want to progress towards human rights and a better planet, they will have to learn to realize they have been led by crooks who made “theories” to justify the disappearance of local employment, dignity, education and income, fostering instead exploitation by a dictatorship.

Does Krugman realize what an abominable role new Trade Theory has played in the imposition of global plutocracy? Apparently not. He spews, editorial after editorial, horrible insults about Donald Trump… But, remove the insults, and the substantial thing he complains about is less “New Trade”, a euphemism for selling the world to China, in exchange for getting cheaper goods, which presumably we will pay for with money produced by China, as China produces everything…

In many countries, dozens of thousands of death happened, during the Corochinavirus, because everything, including masks, were made in China. Thanks, NTT and its comparative advantage to… China. China had no more death than Sweden (China lies, of course) All these deaths in these other countries would not have happened if we had the right NECESSARY TRADE THEORY.

As long as the crooks and even their crooqkery, have not been detected… where is the hope?

Short Circuiting Brains: How Plutocrats Control With Fake Issues. Example: Late Term Abortions

March 1, 2020

Short Circuiting Brains With Blind passions: One Way To Control Minds. make them All Enraged About Abortion, One Way and Its Opposite, They Won’t Be Interested by Anything Else.

How come plutocrats and their servants dominate the Democratic Party? How did the Plutos achieve this?

Whenever we look in the USA we see plutocratic families in command. Take Illinois: the governor is from a top plutocratic family, hyper influential under Obama (an heiress of one of the wealthiest families was given control of US commerce). He is a “Democrat” too, this goes without saying. Jay Robert “J. B.” Pritzker (born January 19, 1965) is an American businessman, “philanthropist” (he loves (philo) people (anthropos) as crocs do), and politician (self-) serving as the 43rd Governor of Illinois. He is a private business owner based in Chicago and a managing partner and co-founder of the Pritzker Group, and a member of the Pritzker family which owns the Hyatt hotel chain. He has an estimated personal net worth of $3.4 billion.

Pritzker was the Democratic nominee for governor of Illinois in the 2018 gubernatorial election. Another Pritzker was in the Obama administration. after making Obama all he could be:

https://patriceayme.wordpress.com/2016/04/17/leader-corruption-corrupts-society/

Obama and Democrat elite support plutocratic Pritzkers, plutocratic Pritzkers support Obama and Democrat elite. It’s a virtuous circle of hell.

Here is the Los Angeles Times: How eight elite San Francisco families funded Gavin Newsom’s political ascent (By Seema Mehta, Ryan Menezes And Maloy Moore; Sept. 7, 2018).

Gavin Newsom wasn’t born rich, but he was born connected — and those alliances have paid handsome dividends throughout his career.

A coterie of San Francisco’s wealthiest families has backed him at every step of his political rise [which led to his election as governor of California].

San Francisco society’s “first families” — whose names grace museum galleries, charity ball invitations and hospital wards — settled on Newsom, 50, as their favored candidate two decades ago, said Willie Brown, former state Assembly speaker and former mayor of the city.

“He came from their world, and that’s why they embraced him without hesitancy and over and above everybody else,” said Brown, who is a mentor to Newsom. “They didn’t need to interview him. They knew what he stood for.”

A Times review of campaign finance records identified eight of San Francisco’s best-known families as being among Newsom’s most loyal and long-term contributors. Among those patrons are the Gettys, the Pritzkers and the Fishers, whose families made their respective fortunes in oil, hotels and fashion. They first backed him when he was a restaurateur and winery owner running for a seat on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1998, and have continued their support through the governor’s race.

They are not Newsom’s largest donors: The families in total have given about $2 million of the $61 million that donors have contributed to his campaigns and independent committees backing those bids. But they gave while he was a relative unknown, providing crucial support to a political newcomer in the years before his campaign accounts piled high with cash from labor unions, Hollywood honchos, tech billionaires and donors up and down the state.”

Newsom just lent land inches from and between freeways, for the homeless, where they will be able to set their tarps in superior squalor, terrorizing the cheap areas of California some more, far from the cities for multi millionaires, and billonaires. This, instead of providing with real (let alone decent) housing

So one of my faithful commenters, Gloucon X thinks I am “cherry picking” on one side because I mentioned the big cherries of exploding thermonuclear warheads activated automatically (that’s called LOW, Launch On Warning, and is the central idea of the famous movie “TERMINATOR”). The point being that Nancy Pelosi, NOT Trump, is the top legislator in the USA. As I reminded Trump recently (direct message), and he reiterated, Trump is the top enforcement officer in the USA, a function inherited from Roman Consuls through Saint Louis (say). Pelosi is more like the top Tribune of the People. And she, herself a plutocrat with an immense fortune, in the many hundreds of millions of dollars, if not more, is, deliberately, making a very bad job at it.

How do all these immensely wealthy people come to control all politicians’ jobs?

Sorry guys, it’s not just shameful, it’s an atrocity

CREATING A FAKE PROBLEM TO CREATE A FAKE ENMITY: CONSIDER ABORTION

Take abortion, indeed. In the USA, so-called “Late Term Abortion” are, in Federal theory, possible: a woman can come, and ask a doctor to kill an eight and half month completely viable baby. That’s unlawful in all other countries. In France, for example, abortions are allowed up to four months, no question asked. Beyond five months, an abortion is possible only if the life of mother is endangered or the foetus is not viable. Eight month abortion is of course monstrous, and should be illegal.

However, in the USA if you say this, a large part of the so-called left becomes hysterical, and accuse you of being a partisan of Satan, namely the Evangelicals. OK, they don’t phrase it this way, they would call you a fanatical right wing Christian who hates women.

The plutocrats, through the media they control, then make it so that a total polarization is achieved: if you are against later term abortions, you are against women. Or a right wing Christian praying for Trump non stop. All professional Democrat politicians embrace therefore killing eight month old baby… a disgusting task best left to really disgusting people, namely, plutocrats and their servants.

The passions connected to this are extreme; it’s a matter of baby killers (true, sometimes) against women enslavers, we are told. (I know a “doctor” specializing in Later term Abortions, that’s all she does: she is deeply unhappy with her life, to say the least… She always goes around, haunted, as if she had just killed hundreds of innocents… because she did… Whereas me i am all bouncy and happy because the fatwa against me is all about me being bouncy and happy… I killed no one…)

While the debate rages on the moral superiority of killing eight month old babies goes on and on, deeper issues are faithfully ignored, as intended. A fake problem has been created, which enables us to determine the color of your skin: are you red, or are you blue?

Most of US politics which passionate people have to do with these fake problems… construed to satisfy that old US pastime: determining skin color.

***

If I say Pelosi, head legislator of the USA, is doing a poor job, people tell me I have got to be pro-evangelical, and on “Trump side”: That’s logic for short circuiting brains. In truth, I am deeply anti-Christian… or, let me rephrase that, I want to cut Christ and the Bible out of Christianism, and all the other stupidities, to keep only the love… only if it’s well defended.

Trump is a long term Democrat who took over the Republican Party, in the name of We The People. This infuriated old style Republicans who were fully on board with old style Democrats to use globalization for plutocratization.

Trump famously used to be against Reagan about globalization. Trump even started a presidential run in the 1980s to emphasize the point. The 1980s were those strange times when “Democrats” used to implement Reagan’s extreme right wing agenda, including oligarchization. This turn towards social and economic elitism had long been in the works: the Harriman Brothers were crucial to both Stalin and Hitler. Their father had been the top railroad magnate of the world. After one of them became the Czar of Lend-Lease to the USSR, the two Harriman Brothers became the plotting core of the Democratic Party. One of them in the plush role of US ambassador to Paris, for decades. Such plutocrats and their descendants always were on the side of plutocratization. After Nixon mass-plutocratized the healthcare system by creating HMOs, it became easier. In California, governor Reagan had imposed tuition on public universities.

In the 1980s and 1990s, “Democrats” a la Tip O’Neill, Clinton, Biden, etc, implemented a program of “privatization” dictated to them by international finance… France, Britain, did the same. The result was massive de-industrialization, of why most health care supplies are now made in China (there is a general scrambling to invert this, as it turns out half of antibiotics are made in China; antibiotics and antivirals are used against COVID 19 and its complications)

I have always been a registered Dem, and I will vote Sanders Tuesday. I decided not to vote Gabbard because of the way the California ballot works (below 15% doesn’t count…), and in light of “superdelegates”. I voted Sanders in the past…

I am thoroughly opposed to some of the ideas Sanders is promoting to get support from the left fringe of the Democratic party. For example on immigration: I am for open borders in Europe, or throughout the West, from New Zealand to Slovenia, but I am not for massive immigration from countries of low socio-economic level… Although I am for accepting great numbers of political refugees (as long as they are fully compatible with 1789 secular law; no importation of Sharia, please).

Removing private healthcare insurance is silly: European countries such as France or Switzerland have still kept private health insurance. The national system in France covers only basic health care, including of the most expensive sort (say grafting arms, which was pioneered there, successfully, long ago)…

After saying all these objections, I overrule them because Sanders will probably pivot, and cutting down on plutocracy, freer education, and universal health care are more important. Among others. Seriating and distinguishing is what intelligence does. Intelligence does not consist into following a party.

P/S: When I see Obama staying at $8,000 a night hotels in French Polynesia (“Le Brando”), I am rather sad… That’s post presidency…

(Washington, DC) — Judicial Watch announced in 2017 it obtained travel records from the Secret Service in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, bringing the known total of travel expenses for former President Barack Obama and his family to $105,662,975.27. The latest records show President Trump’s travel expenses total slightly over $4 million.

The 737 MAX Is Intrinsically Flawed, Misshaped, Software Won’t Fix It

March 16, 2019

Flawed aircraft have existed before in the history of aviation. There were actually more flawed types than successful ones, arguably starting with the first three plane models. They were made by Ader, a French engineer who, helped by military contracts, built the very first planes, coal powered planes inspired by bats (first flight, 1890 CE, 13 years before the Wright brothers…) However, the main problem of Ader was that the internal combustion engine was not mature enough yet, and his coal engines were too heavy. Plus his planes had to carry coal and water… That could be fixed, and was fixed.

Boeing, airlines and aviation authorities don’t have these excuses with the 737 MAX. With the 737 MAX, as with Brexit, that offending idiocy, now on its way to hell, as deserved, the cause is the same: the financialization of the world, its greedsterization, not to say gangsterization. Never before has a so obviously flawed plane type been ordered in such immense numbers (more than 5,000). This absurdity, an exit from reason, illustrates the world’s corruption. This is a world failure. A flying Titanic, loved by all, until it pogos around.

So why is the 737 MAX so flawed? Engine location. The engines are too powerful and too forward of the 737 Max’s wing.

World’s Third Plane, a program supported financially by the French military. The Franco-US engine CFM 56, the world’s most numerous jet engine (35,000 sold!), weights 2370 kg. An A320 weights around 100 tons. So its engines weight around 5%. In Ader’s plane, the engines, with the propellers, weighted 20% (nearly 50 kgs)… Another problem was the weight of the pilot… A lot in a 258 kgs plane…

What is stalling? Basically, when the plane threatens to stall, it’s because the angle of the plane in the air flow is too great, the nose is too much up. Stalling first increases lift, while, and because, it kills speed forward. After the speed goes down, the only way to stay up, is to augment the angle, killing more speed… hence the name: stalling. When speed forward dies too much, no up nose angle will provide lift, and the plane falls like a stone.

The way to prevent stalling is to increase forward speed. For that the engines are asked to produce more power. This was the general recommendation of the aviation authorities, worldwide. However, this can be a problem in two engine planes: their engines are located forward of the centers of mass and lift of the plane, and do not line up with those; instead, when they are all fired up, they exert a torque. That contributed to the crash of an Air France A330 in a terrible storm in the “pot au noir”.

The “pot au noir”, well-known to French aviation pioneers carrying mail to South America (like Saint Exupery, of Petit Prince fame), is the black stormy intertropical convergence zone halfway between Brazil and Africa, famous for his giant thunderstorms; the Air France plane flew into an enormous storm hiding an even larger one behind; the sensitive sensors freezed, and the plane went crazy; the pilots, bereft of any vision in the black and stormy night applied power as prescribed, and the plane stalled, unbeknownst to them. The accident surprised the aviation authorities, but shouldn’t have: there had been similar close calls before, but they had happened when pilots could see outside, and orient themselves (since then simpler orientation systems have been added).

There was plenty of blame to pass around, as for example the US FAA had insisted on Pivot tubes for the A330s which froze more readily, being of smaller diameter… (Pivot a French engineer invented the tubes named after him which enable to measure an aircraft’s speed.) After the Air France crash, recommendations to pilots were changed, worldwide: don’t just increase power, but keep the nose down. The AF447 crash was instructive because it told us how not to handle potential catastrophes…

A Norwegian 737 Max. Norwegian, an excellent company, has 18 (eighteen) 737 Max. And another 100 on order. Norwegian is asking those Boeing financial Chicago types to foot the bill. The picture shows clearly the engines are way too far in front.

The problem of the 737 Max is that the engines are so disposed that the torque causing stalling is much larger than in any other two engined jet. Boeing is trying to fix this with software… but genius software can’t correct all and any bad hardware. No amount of software will allow a turkey to fly across an ocean…

Why did Boeing, one of a handful of top aerospace companies make such a mistake? Well, Boeing was born and thrived in Seattle. In recent years, though, it moved its headquarters to Chicago, to be closer to the source of all powers in this age of doom and gloom, finance. Uncontrolled finance is the deepest source of evil (yes, it financed Hitler, Stalin, as I have explained in other essays). It’s also the greatest source of leverage. One can imagine Boeing executives exchanging stupid American style jokes with financial types suggesting Boeing may as well make an unstable plane subject to stalling while in peril, and correct that with software: software at this point is what makes financial overlords ever more wealthy (and they distribute crumbs to politicians, or even to media plutocrats, who then try to Brexit us…).

But why was Boeing forced to make a plane subject to stalling from its intrinsic geometry? Airbus. (We told you the French invented the devil, and then shrugged!)

A few years back, Airbus observed that jet engines had vastly improved, getting 25% more mileage, or so. Thus it was irresistible to make a plane with such engines. Airbus workhorse is the A320, the first fly by wire plane (after the Franco-British Concorde, and then the Space Shuttle). The A320 program cost 3 billion dollars by 1984, the first customer was Air France, by February 2019, 8674 A320s had been built. Airbus is now fabricating sixty-three (63) A320, per week: nine planes every single day are churned out of Toulouse… (It’s roughly the only thing working really well in France…).

The new A320 was appropriately called the “Neo”. When Boeing saw the A320 Neo coming, it was petrified… Boeing couldn’t just slap new engines on the 737, as Airbus did with the A320 Neo. You see the new engines are more efficient because of a higher “bypass”, a huge hidden turbine which acts like a hidden propeller grabbing air and pushing it like a giant fan. That’s all around the jet engine itself, and makes the entire engine much bigger. The problem was that the 737 is short-legged. The A320 is long-legged, so it could accommodate the much bigger, higher bypass engines. But not so for the 737, which crawls on its belly like a snake.

Why couldn’t Boeing have slapped longer legs on the 737? Because it would have had to modify the fuselage, and the wing roots, big time. In other words, it would have had to make a brand new plane. A brand new plane cost more than ten billion dollars, and take years to come around. Plus, Boeing, Airbus style, was advertizing that the most modest of training, with a tablet and a bit of paper, was enough to transition a pilot from the 737 to the 737 Max. That was a complete lie, as the aerodynamics of the types are completely different.

There was a famous example of a flawed plane: the British Comet. The first commercial jet. Four of them exploded (my mom flew on them between the explosions). The cause was discovered by making metal fatigue tests on the ground. The high altitude was causing the aluminium fuselage to expand and contract, until it unzipped itself. That could, and was corrected. No Comet exploded afterwards, and all other jets profit from the Comet’s unfortunate pioneering.

The case of the 737 Max is obviously different: the plane simply looks, and is, wrong (no Trump will try to resist, that’s hard, and, although he may think it, may not tell you so in his next tweet…)

This is a small example of how the financialization of the world, making everything into profit and soft talking, software, leads to unmitigated disaster. I don’t think the 737 Max can be saved. Sure, it can fly. But, in the same exact dire circumstances as a A320 Neo, it will crash when the European plane will not.

Financialization of the world is a strange madness, an aspect and tool of plutocratization, an even greater insanity. It started with Reagan, big time, was amplified by Clinton, and that boy, Obama, couldn’t express his admiration for Reagan enough. Now in France, an idiotic, pseudo socialist government (truly from Rothschild, as US president Andrew Jackson would enjoy to point out) want to sell the airports to private entities… Because anything private is superior, they say. Andrew Jackson knew better, and was very explicit about it.

It’s a category error, as Aristotle would point out (hopefully): greed is superior when no higher motives can be called upon. Greed is what you do, when you can’t call on the highest, more specifically human motivations. Greed motivates rats, or maybe monkeys. We humans fly higher. Just don’t try it in a 737 Max…
