Was It Criminal For The USA To Attack Afghanistan In 1979? And Why Still Unexamined? Comparing With The Nazis’ War of Aggression

September 25, 2020

On July 3 1979, Democratic president Jimmy Carter gave the secret order to attack the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan which had been created by a coup in 1978 which put an end to the Afghan monarchy. The idea of Carter’s advisers was to create a Vietnam for the Soviets on their doorstep, and put an end to the French collaboration in exploiting the considerable mineral resources of the country. My family was a direct witness of what happened.

The US population is completely unaware of this, and, when exposed to it, tends to accuse the teller, rather than the facts (it’s a psychoprobe experiment I made many times). In an example of mass deliberately organized mass delusion of crowds

The US administration unleashed client regimes, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The Pakistani ISI (Inter Service Intelligence) and the SIA (Saudi Intelligence Agency; it’s know under several other names) were launched against Afghanistan. The latter recruited Bin Laden, and that’s actively denied by organizations such as FactCheck.Org, by quoting approvingly the perpetrators. In general, when even ex-FBI directors write memoirs with damaging information on the US Deep State, active disinformation blurs reality completely, and the public stops being interested.

US Air Force bombs Tora Bora In Afghanistan, twenty-two years after Carter gave the order to fully attack Afghanistan. The Afghan War was an American show throughout: concept, financing, screenwriting and production.

Often the effort against Fundamental Islam seems so incompetent that cynics will believe it is deliberately so. Actually some CIA operators have basically said this, including Gary Berntsen, the CIA officer who directed the battle of Tora Bora represented above.

I did not inform CIA headquarters that I was doing this. I did everything possible to initiate a battle without asking for their permission because I was very concerned that they wouldn’t authorize any of it… There would have been a slew of questions. I didn’t want any questions. I didn’t want to hear anything from anybody.

“And quite frankly I didn’t trust the seventh floor of the CIA to do the right thing, because they had not done the right thing for a number of years before that. And I didn’t care if I was fired or relieved either. I was just going to do it.

the Afghan War to the Soviets: it is repeated all over in the media it owns and influences. The BBC, E-International Relations all keep the myth going.  Attributing the Afghan war to the Soviets…when it’s actually the US which started it… The Soviets were counterpunching. The Muslim adversaries can’t admit to that, they are caught in the lie, and that explains the rage of so many Muslims, including Bin Laden, who know it, but see it so efficiently denied by the world plutocratic media.

In any case, the US mercenary Bin Laden, who had intervened in the Afghan war launched by Carter and pursued by Reagan, with an Arab army of 35,000, contributed to the death of millions of Afghans. How many millions? Several. The numbers are not published anymore and it’s hard to find serious evaluations with search engines… Please do not wonder why: Davos plutocracy likes to kill discreetly.

Confronted to the question Was It Criminal To Attack Afghanistan? The pre-cooked answer is to point out the fact that the Taliban refused to surrender Bin Laden and his accomplices after 9/11. That, indeed, was enough of a casus belli. Agreed.

However, the full truth requires that for the sake of cognition and ethics, one needs to fully identify and sort out the causal webs which leads to action, and mental positioning. The Taliban… the “students” in Patchou… were themselves, the Pakistani government claims, creatures organized and financed by Saudi Arabia, which was anxious to foster Wahhabist Islam. Now, in the Twentieth Century, nothing the Saudis did was not approved if not outright instigated by Washington.

Hence the conclusion, one way or another, is that the US Deep State was the fundamental cause of this Afghan mess. It is more than troubling that the opposition to Trump and the organizations supporting it (for example Fact.Check.Org), actively deny this.

What it means, then, is that they still approve enough of the war in Afghanistan enough to refuse to establish who, and what caused it. The war in Afghanistan was a butchery: several million people got killed. It was deliberately engineered in Washington to drag the Soviets in a war they couldn’t win. The Afghan war was a war of aggression in the name of… aggression. Meaning that the reasons for the aggression were both themselves aggression: one, against the USSR, just because they could, and the other, to foster an homicidal version of Islam trying to go back to its most obscurantist form. The interest of the latter was very simple: it would divide the world. Instead of worrying about increasing plutocracy, We The People would have to worry about homicidal fundamentalists…

It worked. And it has worked because it has not been explained to We The People. Homicidal Wahhabist Fundamentalism as a tool of plutocracy, fruit of a conspiracy? Ridiculous the pillars of the establishment will say: show me where it is written down. So we have to point out the obvious: conspiracies, con-spirare, breathing together, as in Davos, does not mean an explicit plot one writes down.

Conspiracy are precisely made to go undetected.

For example, Adolf Hitler did not leave personally one single sentence, not even one single word about the Holocaust he directed and ordered. His underlings did the same, although they had to persuade many top German officials to not get in the way of the mass murdering campaign, which contradicted the Nazis’ own laws. So they tried to do it verbally, or around magnificent tables laden with excellent victuals. The plan was that, if they won the war, the Nazis would simply never talk of the subject again, and nice Nazis would be elected president and their names would be Joachim Von Biden.

For those who don’t get the joke, the Nazi Foreign Minister, Joachim Von Ribbentrop, was executed at Nuremberg for “war of aggression”. Now, the Nazis had good reasons to be angry against the Versailles Treaty: it had cut Germany in two, because it returned to the legitimate Natives vast lands the Germans had conquered over various Slavs and Austrians in the preceding two centuries.

The United States of America, though, had not been cut in two by anybody, not even the Soviets. There was no deep hatred justifying entrapping the Soviets (whereas many Germans had good reasons to hate the Poles, Czecks, French…) Nor promoting Fundamentalist Islam of the worst type should have been a priority… for a honest civilization.

Both attacking the Soviets and promoting enraged Islam were part of a calculation to create a deliberate mess, similar to the mess the US created in 1914 by (discreetly, but crucially) supporting the homicidal dementia of the Kaiser, his goons, and the cornered German plutocracy underneath… And similar to the mess the USA created by supporting the worst demons of Germany, starting in 1919, and then directly financing Hitler (something Jew-hating plutocrat Henry Ford initiated).

Truth shall make you free, and lies shall enslave you. The truth of what happened in Afghanistan, and the responsibility of the US Deep State, has been completely hidden from the US public, turning Americans into slaves of some sort. This is a truly remarkable achievement of Deep State. It indicates how firmly in command the Deep State is of American minds. As mind molding is the task of the plutocratically owned media, SYSTEMIC PLUTOCRACY can celebrate its Afghan subterfuge as a colossal achievement [1]….

The US Deep State and its greedy plutocracy attacked Afghanistan in 1979 for reasons so shallow that there is bound to be another, deeper reason. And that is one well known of the Ancient Greeks, the reason which defeated Greece, hubris. Human beings are made to live dangerously. The leaders of America, visible or not, were bored, so, full of hubris, they organized themselves a war. Beats golf, any day. They got away with it.

[1] Systemic Plutocracy hides behind a slew of mostly imaginary problems, such as systemic racism, police brutality, or right wing violent fascism… I have been victim of the three of them, by the way, and I think these issues should be remedied. However, they are not as grave as systemic racism… which spawns and then promote them… as distractions. In that sense the entire Afghan war was planned as a gigantic distraction… not just a trap for the Soviets, as ZBIGNIEW BRZEZINSKI, PRESIDENT CARTER’S NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER, claimed it to be

Notre-Dame, Lead, Deep State, Deep Lies, As Usual

September 16, 2019

In a fancy article, Notre-Dame’s Toxic Fallout, By Elian Peltier, James Glanz, Weiyi Cai and Jeremy White, Sept. 14, 2019
complete with moving flames devouring the work of 850 years, the New York Times made “clear that the French authorities had indications that lead exposure could be a grave problem within 48 hours of the fire.

But it took a month before city officials conducted the first lead tests at a school close to Notre-Dame. Even today, city and regional health officials have not tested every school in the proximity of the cathedral.

The tests showed levels of lead dust above the French regulatory standard for buildings hosting children in at least 18 day care centers, preschools and primary schools.”

One can learn a lot from isolated very public incidents and how our leading structures handle them. They define a mood, the ruling mood… Of the planet. Distinctions between France and the USA… or Britain for that matter, and also Germany are illusory… and that’s a good thing.

Let me mention thus in passing, once again, one of my master ideas: the relationship between France, Britain, Germany, the USA (and their ideological satellites, including Australia and Italy) is not as in between Greek city-states, or Greece and Rome. Indeed Greek city-states had just one language, but various origins. And Rome was still something else, tracing itself to Ilion (Troy). Whereas, in the “West”, all can be traced to Celts, Romans and Greece, through the gauntlet of the Franks (Imperium Francorum, by 800 CE the Renovated Roman Empire, RRE).

All this to say that France and the USA have very similar psychologies. So when one of those two acts insane, it throws a light, the same light, onto the other. Thus the Notre-Dame story is not just a warning about France, but one about the USA. In both cases it says something about the Deep State… The Deep State of France and the USA being roughly the same, highly dissatisfying to someone as yours truly… New York Times:

“PARIS. The April fire that engulfed Notre-Dame contaminated the cathedral site with clouds of toxic dust and exposed nearby schools, day care centers, public parks and other parts of Paris to alarming levels of lead.

The lead came from the cathedral’s incinerated roof and spire, and it created a public health threat that stirred increasing anxiety in Paris throughout the summer.

Five months after the fire, the French authorities have refused to fully disclose the results of their testing for lead contamination, sowing public confusion, while issuing reassuring statements intended to play down the risks.

Their delays and denials have opened the authorities to accusations that they put reconstruction of the cathedral — which President Emmanuel Macron has pledged to complete in five years — ahead of the health of thousands of people.

A comprehensive investigation by The New York Times has helped fill out an emerging picture of a failed official response. It found significant lapses by the French authorities in alerting the public to health risks, even as their understanding of the danger became clearer.”

Notre-Dame Burning, Or When the Modern Deep State proves itself less competent than the Middle Ages… Why are the same clowns in charge of thermonuclear weapons?

The Deep State, whether French, British, EU, or US, is always afraid to make people afraid… even in cases where people should be not just afraid, but made to be afraid. Not being afraid of what one should be afraid of, when being afraid would force people to fix a lethal problem, and when being afraid is the only way to make people fix the problem, is not just stupid and immoral, but it’s deeply undemocratic.

Democracy, representative, or direct, without transparency is lunacy and invites larceny.

We are not living in normal times. We are definitively out of any sort of normalcy, if one defines as normal, anything seen since there were dinosaurs, and plesiosaurs and eagle like plane-sized flying pterosaurs… The planet’s biosphere is on the brink of collapse, from mass extinctions, the CO2 crisis, global warming, sea level rise, countless biocides, pesticides, fertilizers, gender-bending chemicals, aerosol air and heavy metal pollution, the nitrogen cycle crisis, plus nuclear proliferation and thus war, around the corner.

Transparency is crucial, as it fosters full, and thus honest thinking. To try to figure it out and serialize the problems. One would hope that the headquarters of what is arguably the oldest center of modern civilization, Paris, would be aware of the need for transparency, thus debate and advancing intelligence.

But the leaders of France have become timid, full of self-doubt, ever since Washington told them in 1933 that run-away growth, devaluation, debt, and especially Adolf Hitler and his Nazi clowns, was nothing to worry about… And would France stop being so aggressive. Now France has a young and inexperienced leader, Macron, who affects to believe he will augment democracy in France by halving the number of Members of Parliament. even the Brexiting clowns on the other side of the Channel with their suspended Parliament, have not reached deep down such an abyss of stupid anti-democracy… Although suspended the British parliament has 650 MPs, roughly twice what Macron wants.

We are facing a widespread issue around lead,” Ms. Souyris, the city’s Socialist deputy mayor in charge of health, said. “It goes beyond Notre-Dame, but since there is no norm for public spaces, we need a bigger plan against lead in Paris.’’

One theory about the decay of Roman civilization and its state, is that they got contaminated by lead. And thus became idiotic. Could that apply to Paris? Could that help to explain mental shortcomings of the government there? Lead induced idiocy in one of the most ridiculously expensive real estate in the world?

My take on all of this?

Well, all those responsible of having partaken in lead contamination, knowing about it, and doing nothing timely enough, should be severely punished, and the higher, the more punished they should be. After all, I saw the enormous lead panache coming out of Notre-Dame, spreading west over Paris, I saw it on TV, live, from California, and Macron, who was on the scene, should have exerted the noodle material between his two ears too. And if that jelly doesn’t work good enough, why is it in charge of deciding whether he can, or not, kill 50 million people in twenty minutes?

The idea is to punish hard, after they deliberately persist in their errors, those who have the effrontery to believe that they can lead the world, all by themselves, with the help of tons of secrecy. Hard punishment should make the present unsustainable political system insufferable, even to the parasites who presently suck on it with wild abandon.

The preceding should not be construed as a wild attack on France, while I neglect the Brexit monstrosity next door. The lead scandal shows that too few have too much power in how they move the state (in France as anywhere else). Brexit shows even more of the same: that the control of British media by a very small oligarchy which doesn’t pay taxes, and is determined not to pay taxes in the future, risks creating the sort of anger wars are made of [1].

[1]:  113,000 potential taxpayers are living in Britain while also being a ‘non-domiciled’ in the U.K…. as far as taxes are concerned. Those extremely wealthy individuals control the UK media. EU member states have until 31 December 2019 to make this sort of blatant tax avoidance scheme by plutocrats illegal in their own national law.

Why isn’t this advertised more? Consider France: the media there is owned by plutocrats too, just as in the UK, and they have huge tax avoidance schemes in place as laws in the tax system. If the Pluts were stupid enough to call attention to the non-dom reason for Brexit, they would bring along a mood questioning tax avoidance schemes in general…. and in particular, the schemes contrived in the legal system they profit from…

Deep State, Deep History, Deeply Satanic Mood

February 22, 2017

Reducing the Deep State to inertial bureaucracy is misinformation.

Reducing history to what is taught in textbooks is also misinformation.

Misinformation feeds those who inspire the Deep State, namely, those who profit from the plutocratic state of affairs.

Karen Garcia in her site “Sardonicky”:

“Deep State, Shallow Swamp”

Since the election of The Donald, you’ve probably noticed a sudden uptick in that erstwhile arcane term “Deep State”. It’s become so ubiquitous that it may well end up in one of those lists of the most overused phrases and words of the year.

My own habitual usage of the term in these pages derives from Mike Lofgren’s original thesis:

There is the visible government situated around the Mall in Washington, and then there is another, more shadowy, more indefinable government that is not explained in Civics 101 or observable to tourists at the White House or the Capitol. The former is traditional Washington partisan politics: the tip of the iceberg that a public watching C-SPAN sees daily and which is theoretically controllable via elections. The subsurface part of the iceberg I shall call the Deep State, which operates according to its own compass heading regardless of who is formally in power….  Yes, there is another government concealed behind the one that is visible at either end of Pennsylvania Avenue, a hybrid entity of public and private institutions ruling the country according to consistent patterns in season and out, connected to, but only intermittently controlled by, the visible state whose leaders we choose. My analysis of this phenomenon is not an exposé of a secret, conspiratorial cabal; the state within a state is hiding mostly in plain sight, and its operators mainly act in the light of day.

The Real, Most Terrible History Of The Twentieth Century, Has Been Rendered Unexamined, Even Secret

The Real, Most Terrible History Of The Twentieth Century, Has Been Rendered Unexamined, Even Secret

[Much of what we know about the Mongols of Genghis Khan was contained in a book just one copy of was saved:”The Secret History Of the Mongols”. Well, in many of my essays is found the secret history of the Twentieth Century…]

The “Deep State” guy pursues: “Nor can this other government be accurately termed an “establishment.” All complex societies have an establishment, a social network committed to its own enrichment and perpetuation. In terms of its scope, financial resources and sheer global reach, the American hybrid state, the Deep State, is in a class by itself. That said, it is neither omniscient nor invincible. The institution is not so much sinister (although it has highly sinister aspects) as it is relentlessly well entrenched. Far from being invincible, its failures, such as those in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, are routine enough that it is only the Deep State’s protectiveness towards its higher-ranking personnel that allows them to escape the consequences of their frequent ineptitude. The New York Times, which itself might be considered part of the Deep State, describes the term quite differently: an authoritarianism that hasn’t happened here yet, but very well might. According to the “explainer piece” by Max Fisher and Amanda Taub, the recent torrent of leaks from spy agencies in the chaotic regime of Donald Trump has only led to “fears” of an American Deep State:

Though leaks can be a normal and healthy check on a president’s power, what’s happening now extends much further. The United States, those experts warn, risks developing an entrenched culture of conflict between the president and his own bureaucracy. Issandr El Amrani, an analyst who has written on Egypt’s deep state, said he was concerned by the parallels, though the United States has not reached authoritarian extremes…. Though the deep state is sometimes discussed as a shadowy conspiracy, it helps to think of it instead as a political conflict between a nation’s leader and its governing institutions. That can be deeply destabilizing, leading both sides to wield state powers like the security services or courts against one another, corrupting those institutions in the process.”

***

My take is much deeper and much more cynical:

First, the US assaults on Afghanistan and Iraq were not failures. They are painted as such by the establishment, but they achieved what they were supposed to achieve. Destroying progress, and French and Russian influence in a democratic, socialist republic, Afghanistan, while turning the latter in a fundamental Muslim theocracy offering plenty of opportunity for practicing war, was a complete success. We have to thank the demonrat Jimmy Carter for that far-fetched vision. OK, 9/11 happened as a consequence, but that was very juicy for the plutocracy.

The various assaults on Iraq, starting in the early 1990s, were a total success: the price of oil shoot up, and thus the US could afford enormous capital spending in oil and gas, with advanced fracking technology. Now the US is the number one producer of oil and gas (at it was in the 19 C and most of the 20 C).

The Deep State is, truly, the hereditary plutocracy and its hereditary structures (for example the plutocratic universities, and their provisions for scions, or the plutocratically owned, or influenced media, which is nearly all the media in the USA; or the connection between the health care system, the drug companies, politicians; in general political-corporative system).

The Deep State has also a Deep Mood, which is trans-generational The Deep State mood can be observed to flow from the richest families hereditary grip on wealth, power, foundations, universities, politics.

The Deep Mood hides the deep conspiracies and the plots which really worked so well (WWI, WWII, Islamism, etc.) that the vulgum does not even suspect their existence. Realizing that World War One, World War Two and modern Salafism are actually deliberate plots, not just conspiracies, is not found in any textbooks. Instead we are told fables for little children.

Karen Garcia said…

Patrice,

Excellent point. We must not forget the handful of families which fund our “elections” and usually get what they want in the way of policies. Why are the Democrats so gung-ho on marriage equality and bathroom rights as opposed to other civil rights? Because they doesn’t rob the rich of one cent, and the rich feel they can afford to be generous when it doesn’t cost them anything but furnishes them with a publicity buffer with which to shine and protect themselves.

Dynasties are indeed an integral part of the deep state, ruling class, whatever you care to call it. Thomas Piketty spelled it all out. Funny how he and his inequality thesis is no longer all the rage with liberals, now that they have Trump to signify all the evil that ever was.

February 22, 2017 at 8:22 AM

Dear Karen:

Excellent observation: insulting Trump 24/7 has replaced any analysis of US/Global plutocracy. That’s excellent for the plutocracy. Howling against Trump to the sky, is viewed as the noblest conquest of thought. We are led to believe that, if only the GLOBALOCRACY was re-established, complete with hordes of Sharia believers, everything would be alright…

I own but never read Piketty’s big book (I read enough other things of him to get an idea that Piketty does not fly as high and broad that we eagles of truth, need to). I read the Devil’s Chessboard (some of it). That’s about the Dulles Brothers. They represented around 1,000 (German) Nazi companies in the USA, before the war. The book hint that the Dulles who created the CIA organized JFK’s assassination. As Alan Dulles put it:“that little Kennedy, he thought he was God

All these books, in particular the latter, come short on the Pluto/fascist/Nazi/Ford/JP Morgan/Wilson connection.

I wrote many essays on this. They fell, with the mighty noise of a tree on the Moon.

Much of the most tragic history of the Twentieth Century was a massive conspiracy and a plot, we enjoy its ongoing fruits, as it was not only not  counterattacked, but most (pseudo) liberals have no notion of it whatsoever.

Surely they know not of the Kaiser-Wilson-extreme Anglo-Saxon, anti-French racism-WWI-Ford-Hitler-Schacht-JP Morgan-Wall Street-Morgenthau-countless US plutocrats and their corporations, and then Hitler, connection.

In that mighty galaxy, the Kennedys, Bushes and Dulles were initially second knives. By 1941, they had become major actors. Right now, the plutocracy is intense, extremely institutionalized, from plutocratic university to perverse health care, to plutocratically owned media, to the Deepest State (whose retirement depends upon pleasing the powers that be).

The only thing that’s clear, is that obsessing about Trump, who did not create that intense, thick and deep plutocracy, while feigning to believe that he did, is a way to try to perdure the ever-deepening Pluto state.

That Pluto, deeply satanic state, is complete with federal judges, free to judge when they can suddenly “retire” to the “private” sector, earning millions, and picking up the rewards implicitly promised to them. Verily, when one goes seamlessly from the private sector to the Deep State, and back, and forth, evil learns to rule civilization, no holds barred, into oblivion.
