Considering Evil: Prince Charles & Lord Keynes

November 24, 2015

A plutocrat much revered, thus most evil, Lord Keynes, created in his famous pamphlet, “The Economic Consequences of Peace”, what would become one of the Nazis’ main theories, complete with outrageous racism. Keynes is viewed as the pillar of the “Neo-Liberal” economy, revered and promoted by the Main Stream Politicians of the West. Increasingly many view the “liberal” economy just a tool to increase inequality, build plutocracy. It is enlightening to realize that the main and first proponent of the Neo-Liberal economy also spawned Nazism.

Plutocrat Prince Charles, Following Plutocrat Keynes, Rewrites History, just as well:

Prince Charles connects climate change to the Syrian conflict and terrorism. In a sense, this is obvious, and I have been saying as much, since ever: the massive change of climate enfolding will result in billions of people dying potentially, so they will not come down without fighting. Yes there was a drought, yes Syrian peasants took refuge in the cities… Yet, it should not be hereditary plutocrat Charles’ position to come to the rescue of fellow London invested hereditary plutocrat Assad. A bit of decency and decorum, please! We know who you are, don’t flaunt it!

The Egyptians had to leave the desert when it became desertic, and settled in the valleys. So it was all around the Middle East. Lush landscape, lakes and rivers, from the Mauritanian coast on the Atlantic, to the Gobi desert, through Arabia, turned into Mars (but with air and torrid temperatures).

In reaction to desiccation, civilizations became much more organized, engineered, and, thus fascist (“E Plutibus, Unum”). Or as great historian Fernand Braudel called them “hydraulic dictatorships”. Indeed hydraulics enabled agriculture, because much of the area has the good fortune to be endowed with very high, rain catching mountains (but less so the Sahara, which had to be 99.9% evacuated). The problem was to carry water from rocky mountains to fertile land (hence the first dams in Yemen, or extensive canals in Oman, Persia).

Lord The Racist Keynes Wanted Poland Occupied By Germany Indefinitely Because Poles Were An Inferior Sort & That Was Best For The Economy

Lord The Racist Keynes Wanted Poland Occupied By Germany Indefinitely Because Poles Were An Inferior Sort & That Was Best For The Economy

Hundreds of thousands of often Islam befuddled Syrian refugees are rushing to Europe, all too often not because they love Europe but because they want to survive. That’s a problem for all concerned.

Let say in passing that Europe should put in place assimilation structures which discriminate between those who want to learn to love Europe for real, and the rest, The USA has such structures in place. But the American ways of forced integration have escaped detection by naive Europeans. Right now, interviewing locals in Hawai’i, I can appreciate them anew. Locals don’t give a hoot about Barry Obama. what matters to them is the local football, or basketball star, then thriving: they have been completely de-politicized, all they love is greasy sugarized food, and sports, as imposed by Main Stream Media (thus their own islands are, or have been, stolen from them).

Those Syrian refugees who do not want to assimilate should be turned back. Violent? Yes. But turning back hostile refugees is a matter of survival, the same logic which animates the refugees themselves. In Islam, Europe used to be called, in the sacred texts, the “House of War”. Those who still think it is, should be imposed their own insult.

Dar al-Harab (Arabic: دار الحرب “house of war” is the term, in the foundation of Islam, referring to those countries where the Muslim law is not in force, in the matter of worship and the protection of the faithful and dhimmis. It is unclean by definition. The House of War, Europe, will not become clean until it is annexed to the House of Islam (Dar al-Islam, دار الإسلام‎ ) Its denizens are either to be converted, killed, or. Allah being most merciful, taxed exorbitantly if, and only if they are “People of the Book” (a matter of interpretation depending upon the Caliph, or the local Emir).

As the attacks in Paris show, a few fanatics with modern weapons can kill or injure 500 (and using biological and, or chemical weapons would kill much more: ISIS uses neurotoxic gases). But back to the congenital plutocrat, Princes Charles, heir of Great Britain.

In an interview with Sky News, red-cheeked apparent alcoholic Charles, said there was:

“Very good evidence indeed that one of the major reasons for this horror in Syria was a drought that lasted for about five or six years, which meant that huge numbers of people in the end had to leave the land because water ran out, their crops failed and so on. And increasingly they came into the cities, already full of Iraqi refugees. And this combined created a very difficult situation.”

He then called on the public to deal with climate change “because the conflict very often comes from movement of people as a result of not being able to survive”.

The hypocrisy there is colossal, the lying expert: the British elite, not to say “plutocracy”, engineered the Iraq War which destroyed Iraq, spawning ISIS, in part with debris from Saddam’s army. By ignoring this major fact, plutocrat Charles is lying. It is a LIE BY COLOSSAL OMISSION.

If Tony Blair’s government had joined France in opposing the invasion of Iraq by the USA, and the attendant destruction of the Iraqi State, the latter by itself a massive violation of the Geneva Convention, war criminal Bush would not have been able to proceed. Instead British plutocracy joined Bush to visit war crimes on Iraq. Where was rosy-cheeked Charles then?

The Iraq War is still enfolding. The greatest enemy of George W. Bush and his lackeys’ aggression with that idiotic war was the French Republic which singlehandedly prevented the USA to get a resolution of the United Nations authorizing war.

The USA, with the help of many in its plutocracy (including Hilarious Clinton, then a war mongering senator from New York) proceeded nevertheless, while organizing a French hating campaign. However, opposed France WAS, the situation has degenerated so much that France has now been dragged in the war she opposed (and so is Obama, who opposed the Iraq War then, albeit with much less power than Clinton had).

War is complex. Differently from the crazed psychopath Qaddafi, busy raping teenage girls, one could negotiate with Saddam who pointed out correctly that he could not understand why the USA and Britain attacked, since “we had good laws”. (Similarly, one can negotiate with the son of Qaddafi. who is much smarter, and less psycho than his dad.).

When talking about war, violence, conflict, aggression, the primitives cannot handle the complexity, and their discourses bring nothing to guide action. War is, arguably, humanity’s most complex activity.

Thus wars deserve complex descriptions (even wars such as invasions by Attila, the Avars or Genghis Khan were very complex, as the Mongols themselves were first to recognize, hence their successes in the latter case).

Lord Keynes’ Racist Complaint Against The Versailles Treaty, & How It Spawned Nazism:

All and any biased, partial description of war brings further conflicts. A very good example is the abject way the Anglo-Saxons and their lackeys describe the Versailles Treaty, following closely the atrocious racist, Lord Keynes, an Anglo-Saxon imperial icon.

Nazi Keynes described the Poles in the abominably racist ways that the soon to be formed Nazis were going to adopt. So it is correct to view Keynes as Hitler’s mentor, and always a big thrill when self-absorbed “Jews” such as Paul Krugman, adulate Keynes, Auschwitz’s grandfather.

Lord Keynes’ big economic trip was that as the Poles were hopeless lazy cretins with immoral habits congenital to their race. Europe, now deprived of its grandiose German imperial leadership, insisted Lord The Racist Keynes, would sink economically. Lord the Racist Keynes called that “The Economic Consequences of Peace”. American plutocrats and their universities cannot laud enough that piece of trash propaganda in learned guise. As Lord The Racist Keynes is anti-French, in learned, hypocritical guise, it is a bonus: one is never careful enough with these Sans-Culottes, Marseillaise singing types.

The meta teaching of Lord The Racist Keynes is that, if one sounds detached enough, one can make the credulous swallow whatever concepts are crucial to foster plutocracy. This is exactly what the future Owner of Britain insisted on: climate change caused the war in Syria, the support of the British elite for plutocrat Assad and his immensely rich family, or the invasion, and destruction, of Iraq, has nothing to do with it.

Let little people gobble this, from Australia to British Columbia, London to Singapore, South Africa to Wall Street, and Dog save the Queen (she is going to need it!) Ultimately, this sort of fables, repeated ad nauseam, become the official truth (as Hitler explained in detail).

Thus it comes to be asserted, that the Versailles Treaty, Anglo-Saxons insist, now followed by quite a few French anxious to please their Anglo-Saxon masters, caused Nazism. An abject lie, useful to plutocrats in so many ways, they are nearly intoxicated on it, it sucks all the bandwidth, they have been repeating it ever since. And one of the ways that enormous lie caused Nazism was, and is, precisely by killing the spirit of inquiry: it’s so obviously clear that the Versailles Treaty caused Nazism, as Lord the Racist Keynes said, and the plutos and their helpers confirm, that the subject is not worth studying: this is common wisdom among the educated, doctorate equipped elite, and those noble parrots go around repeating Nazi lies invented by Keynes, self-congratulating about how wise they are.

Thus it is that little minds learn to NOT even to ponder complex issues. (In that case not that complex: the submission of many nations of Eastern Europe to imperial Germany should be considered now as something as revolting as slavery, because it’s all what it was.)

I must admit that Paul Krugman has made efforts to exhibit how knowing better the history of the Twentieth Century enlightens the present fatal systems of thoughts ruling economics.

My own Mom is exasperated by my enthusiastic brandishment of the word “plutocrat”. She looks down on explaining so many phenomena with the notion (which even the mythical Jesus used, without naming it). There is something to it, in the sense that we need variety in life. I know some of the individuals around Obama, saw them transformed as they got a whiff of power. They were too stupid, or too moral to exploit it, so they came short on the satanic side of things (small “Pluto” factor). Yet, they were clearly intoxicated, as everybody around the White House is, by power. Fortunately my fertile imagination comes to the rescue to qualify those herds of slaves who serve, or aspire, and thus valorize power: CRATS.

“Crats” has the correct etymology: that of those obsessed by grabbing power, smelling power, basking in power (Greek “kratos” for power). It also reminds one of “rats”, animals so obsessed with cheese they would die for it, and the insult the French used to throw at fascist Germans of yore: Krauts. Let there be crats, those whom power obsesses, as they already exist, in all but name. We need to name what ails us.

WHOSE WATERLOO WAS IT?

June 19, 2015

WATERLOO WAS A VICTORY FOR RACISM, BANKSTERISM, And Other Unsung Horrors

This is the 200th anniversary of the battle of Waterloo. History is our teacher, it’s more instructive, and surprising, than fiction.

Napoleon, at some point, turned into a tyrant, and, just as Roman emperor Augustus, buried the Republic. Or, at least, just as Augustus, much of it. Thus many celebrate Napoleon’s defeat.

However, who won that war? Arguably, Europe’s worst plutocrats, racists, and their banksters. At Waterloo, plutocracy, racism, and banksterism (let alone anti-French sentiment) won. We are living with the consequences. Yet, ultimately, how Napoleon started his career, the Revolution, is winning over civilization. As it has to.

Revolutionary General Napoleon On His Way To Free Italy From Outrageous Plutocracy & Occupation

Revolutionary General Napoleon On His Way To Free Italy From Outrageous Plutocracy & Occupation

Not so coincidentally, a white blonde supremacist youth went to a church in the USA , sat quietly for an hour, and then killed nine people there, just because he did not like their color. He probably did not know his own white skin was a recently acquired trait of darker skin ancestors.

What does racism have to do with Waterloo? Everything. The French Revolution had “black” generals, and so did Napoleon (an excellent example being Alexandre Dumas Senior, a top general). French anti-racism was also defeated at Waterloo.

In 1815, after Napoleon’s defeat, Prussian racist laws were extended to all of Germany. If one were of the wrong race, one could not be a lawyer, a doctor, etc. Karl Marx’s father, who was a doctor, was prevented to exercise as a consequence of anti-racism’s defeat at Waterloo.

Poles, in particular, were the object of INSTITUTIONALIZED racism from the Prussian (that is, “German”) empire. Poland was occupied, dismembered, treated worse than most African nations would be treated later under colonialism.

Napoleon went to military school under king Louis XVI, at age nine. He and his elder brother, did not see Corsica again, nor their family, for six years. After it was checked that the Buonaparte family belonged to the Corsican nobility, Napoleon and Joseph attended for free. Napoleon came out as an artillery officer. He stayed in the army as the Revolution happened.

In April 1792, all the plutocrats of Europe attacked France, although France was still, nominally, a Constitutional Monarchy headed by Louis XVI. In that period, Napoleon found himself in Corsica, trying to control Pasquale Paoli, the “dictator” of Corsica, who had led the ephemeral Republic there, before it had been expelled by Louis XVI’s army. Paoli had gone to live in England, handsomely paid by the British government. Twenty years later, the Revolution allowed Paoli to come back. Napoleon, an active Jacobin, organized elections which Paoli president. However, soon enough, Paoli was heading a weird “British Corsican” kingdom.

In July 1792, unbelievably the Duke of Brunswick, who led the plutocratic coalition against Revolutionary France, threatened to “execute” and submit to horrible “supplices” the entire population of Paris.

This is why Auschwitz was not an accident. Nor was the attack on Paris of Kaiser Wilhelm II in August 1914. Threatening publicly to torture to death Europe’s largest city, just because it enjoyed a revolution, was clearly the official launch of the Prussian Will to Genocide. (This did not come out of the blue: the initial invasion of Pagan Prussia by the Christian Teutonic Knights, the Prussian Crusade, was an extremely bloody affair, capped by a genocide of the natives.)

In Fall 1793, British and Spanish forces had seized Toulon. Napoleon, then a 24 year old captain, insisted that the two preceding generals be fired. His battle plan was finally implemented. It worked superbly. The British commanding general was captured, the British and Spanish fleets had to flee under the fire of red hot cannon balls (balls were heated in special ovens so that, when they landed inside a ship, they would set it on fire; many British boats exploded during the attack, some scuttled so that the French could not seize the munitions; the Brits had brought enough explosives to destroy everything on their way to Paris).

Napoleon was severely wounded during the assault by a British bayonet which went through his thigh. He kept on fighting.

After the victory and healing, Napoleon was convoked by the top generals. Wines, and a great meal were served. Laughing, the high command told the Corsican youth to change first to his brand new general’s uniform.

Often the Brits gloat that they saved the world against tyranny, by defeating Napoleon. Well, on the face of what happened in the following 130 years, not so. Prussia, Britain’s pet monster, came back to bite everybody. But not just that. The truth? British armed forces were on the side, of racism, fascism, plutocracy, imperialism, banksterism and exploitation. And this is what launched Napoleon.

Another lie, by the way, is that the Netherlands and Belgium were freed of France… by defeating the French.

Indeed, the Belgiae were always part of Gallia, Gaul, and the Franks were Dutch. Not just this, but, in an eighty year war, France around 1600, freed the Netherlands from Spain (before that the most powerful land army). If France had not been around to intervene each time the Spanish army attacked the Netherlands, the Dutch would be speaking Spanish.

As a telling aside, Edward III of England (grandson of Philippe IV Le Bel of France) launched the so-called 100 year war, at the urging of the count of Artois, who used to fight in a bright red costume and armor, just to make sure his combative nature was fully in evidence. He had been deprived of his land by the King of France. Artois’ land were fully in present day Belgium. Belgium was created, after Napoleon’s defeat, just to weaken France. The obvious truth, in the fullness of history, considering the jurisdiction given to the Francks in 400 CE by the Roman government, the entire west bank of the Rhine is clearly French.

The creation of the Netherlands and Belgium, to a great extent correspond to the attempt of creating a British controlled Provence in 1793.

The inheritance of Napoleon is mixed. Napoleon’s own younger brother Lucien, when he was 17, wrote prescient words about the danger his brother could become. However flawed, his unification of Europe worked in more ways than one. Germany found itself united, and liked it. Poland found itself sort of free, and certainly not grievously racially discriminated against, and loved it. Italy was united, and loved it too (Napoleon III would throw the Austrian plutocrats out at the battles of Magenta and Solferino, in 1856, making, Italy free and whole again).

The invasion of Russia was made necessary by Alexander III’s behavior, and on-going British interference. It failed for similar reason as Athens’ war with Sparta failed: a plague (of unknown nature for Athens, typhus for the Grande Armee). Napoleon’s greatest mistake, was to bend over backwards to integrate the old European nobility plutocracy inside his supranational state. He may as well have tried to cohabit with snakes in his bed.

“It has been a damned nice thing — the nearest run thing you ever saw in your life.” the Duke of Wellington, speaking of the battle of Waterloo (which was lost because Marshall Grouchy and his 30,000 man army got lost, and the Prussian Blucher 50,000 men intervened instead).

“Waterloo is not a battle; it is the changing face of the universe.” Victor Hugo, author of Les Miserables.

And the universe did not change for the best. The idea of European supranational state was defeated at Waterloo, and replaced by racism, plutocracy, banksterism, etc. It made both Great Britain and the USA superpowers, while greatly dismantling France, as the War of the Spanish Succession finishing in 1713 already had .

Guess what? The supranational European state is back. Prussia and its racism were been annihilated in 1945. Instead, the German Republic became exactly what the French revolutionaries of 1792 wanted to see next door. And Napoleon was one of these French Revolutionaries. What Napoleon and Grouchy did not succeed to do in 1815, was done by other as Allies and extensions of the French Republic, in 1945.

Now, having saved the ruling banksters, we are being told by the dictators who govern us, that the Greeks need to be punished some more.  And the Republic of South Africa let the war criminal heading Sudan escape (in violation of the International Criminal Court, something undermined by the refusal of the USA to participate, an apparent admission that the policy of the USA is firmly committed to war criminality, looking forward…).

Napoleon started his career fighting for independence, freedom, and against plutocracy. But one does not fight hell with flowers. Napoleon vastly overshot on the Dark Side. In 1815, human rights were defeated, and the way to Auschwitz, cleared. However, the tide has turned in 1945 (after much French sacrifice, and more than 100 million killed in the 1914-45 war).

It’s time for the right side to win more Waterloos. Not only do we need a European Supranational state, but we need a World Supranational state. And it needs to be led by the best ideals of Revolutionary France. The rest is hopeless babble heading irresistibly to humanity’s Waterloo.

Nota Bene: .17% of the Chinese (PRC) population is incarcerated. 3% of the population of the USA is either incarcerated, or on probation. The world’s highest rate. Plutocracy financed by banksters, also translates as incarceration violence.

Violent Politics, Violent Police

December 7, 2014

There were demonstrations in several cities in the USA, against police murders. Police induced deaths are a problem in the USA. Yet they are part of a system, which, by some measures, is the fiercest police state in the world. As the well-known Marxist newspaper, the Wall Street Journal, largest daily in the USA, revealed: Hundreds of Police Killings Are Uncounted in Federal Stats. FBI Data Differs from Local Counts on Justifiable Homicides.” The WSJ gives examples:

“WASHINGTON—When 24-year-old Albert Jermaine Payton wielded a knife in front of the police in this city’s southeast corner, officers opened fire and killed him.

Yet according to national statistics intended to track police killings, Mr. Payton’s death in August 2012 never happened. It is one of hundreds of homicides by law-enforcement agencies between 2007 and 2012 that aren’t included in records kept by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

A Wall Street Journal analysis of the latest data from 105 of the country’s largest police agencies found more than 550 police killings during those years were missing from the national tally or, in a few dozen cases, not attributed to the agency involved. The result: It is nearly impossible to determine how many people are killed by the police each year.

Public demands for transparency on such killings have increased since the August shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown by police in Ferguson, Mo.”

These are the first demonstrations since the invasion of Iraq in 2003 (which produced a large demonstration in San Francisco, with more than 4,000 arrests). Freeways even got momentarily occupied by demonstrators.

The protests are about the police killing people who should not have been killed: a 12 year old playing with a plastic gun here, a teenager there, a guy brandishing a pocket knife (the latest, today in the center of Hollywood, where so-called “stars” are supposed to parade during “Academy Awards”). Or then the police smothers a suspect to death, for the camera, in New York.

WSJ again: “Law-enforcement experts long have lamented the lack of information about killings by police. When cops are killed, there is a very careful account and there’s a national database,” said Jeffrey Fagan, a law professor at Columbia University. “Why not the other side of the ledger?”

Police violence is not directly about racism, it is worse. It is about the plutocratic order, where brute force is supposed to rule, rather than polished, policed, behavior.

Racism can be more easily remedied than a way of life. Or a way of fight.

How does the USA work? It’s a policed jungle. A jungle, with a police, a jungle adapted police. A jungle, with a justice, yielding the law, the law of the jungle.

One third of households in the USA are in possession of guns made to kill people. As the police are people too, this means that one third of potential arrests can result in a gunfight.

Thus American police views as prudent to shoot first and ask questions later. The police is also keen to arrest drivers for speeding (more than ten millions are arrested each year for speeding in California alone; quite a few of these arrests are bogus: I asked once an officer why he had stopped my friend, considering that other cars were driving at the same speed. He replied: ”Because there is only one of me.”

A speeding arrest can bring nearly a thousand dollars in the coffer of some jurisdictions (fines vary wildly, and are cashed, in part, locally). In any case, you are best advised to leave your hands on the wheel, fully visible, and dig in the glove compartment for your papers, only if asked to, by the always vigilant and trigger happy officer. Any other behavior is “extremely dangerous”, as a police officer explained to me.

Officers hold themselves in the dead angle, their hand on their gun. Just in case they have to engage in cautionary shooting.

Violent American police is the answer to violent American society. It’s a symbiosis.

So is American Justice.

Both police and justice are there to keep an aura of terror over all of society. And thus discipline. A Prussian discipline.

***

The Prussian Paradigm:

Now, all right, Prussia was violently, officially and legislatively racist against Jews, Poles and Slavs. It was part of its Satanic nature as a country a tenth the size of France, demographically, but with an army nearly as large, imbued by a tradition of mayhem.

The conquest of the Pagan natives of Prussia by the Teutonic Knights had been exemplary in its total ferocity on both sides; then the Knights themselves got annihilated by the combined Lithuanian and Polish nations… before rebounding as the Prussia of Frederik the Great, much admired by Hitler, but actually supported by Russia and Britain, and enormous ferocity.

In the end, Prussia defeated France, united all of Germany under its malevolent empire, before giving us the Kaiser, Hitler, and three wars with France, the last two of which it lost, leading to its eradication.

However, this Prussian show demonstrate that absurd, racist, unfair violence can work for generations, and build an empire.

A milder form of the Prussian “solution” was Great Britain itself: less racist, less ferocious, worked very well.

***

Why is Prussian discipline and exemplary punishment so important in the USA?

In first analysis, one can say that it is because people come from all over the world in the USA, forming a “nation of immigrants” to use the trite expression. To cement them together, discipline is needed. That and bondage of the mind through obsessive behavior pertaining to basketball, American football, baseball, charities, god, a reverence for paying for everything, and Thanksgiving.

In second analysis, though, Prussian discipline is also a paradigm for the reign of a force oriented society. Just as the power of police guns, the power of the powers that be, is unlimited: such is the mood imparted on the populace.

I am sympathetic to the cause of diminishing American violence, but asking the police to do it first, and believing that only the police needs fixing, is unrealistic.

Demonstrators know this, and protested “Justice” decisions, not just police action.

Advancing the cause of care, instead of the cause of profit, ought to have been the cause of the Obama presidency, but it did not happen.

***

Plutocracy Lite, Also Known As Congress:

Instead we got Obama-care, a parody. But also a paradigm for the hypocrisy of the ruling class, the CEO class, and professional politicians with business connected families and immense riches. The two most powerful politicians in California, under Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Diane Feinstein, are extremely rich.

Feinstein’s personal worth is 45 million dollars: not bad for somebody who only did politics all her life.

But that’s only the tip of the iceberg. Her husband, Blum, has been doing a lot of business with the top plutocrats in China.

As Roll Call puts it:

“Feinstein’s a classic case of one of the biggest faults in the reporting requirements: assets in Blum’s name may be reported in a broad category of more than $1 million, so the calculated minimum net worth may be a significant understatement.

Blum’s assets include holdings in Current Media, the company headed by former Vice President Al Gore that was sold to Al Jazeera. He has significant holdings through Blum Capital Partners in an array of businesses, including the Carlton Hotel chain and OZ Fitness.”

We can safely say that the Feinstein couple made hundreds of millions from political trafficking.

Out of the ten richest members of the Congress of the USA, eight are “Democrats”. So much for the Republican Party being the party of money.

The tenth fortune in Congress, an ex-Microsoft executive, is personally worth AT LEAST 40 million dollars. Her husband oversees the federal government’s online health care enrollment website, healthcare.gov. In other words, Obamacare. Need I say more?

This whole American picture would be interpreted as corruption in most European countries (except for Byelorussia, and Putin’s kingdom). However, in the USA, this is not interpreted as corruption, but as legitimate business, so the Perceived Corruption Index of the USA is low.

Some young people are getting agitated, as they realize that they have been had. Paul Krugman can tell them ad nauseam, that the USA is doing better than the rest of the world, but people in the street guess that the GDP is going up, because of all the money going to the richest of the rich, has been increasing in leaps and bounds.

And simple young people are right to be angry: a few weeks after bogus elections, it’s clear nothing will change. Another long term “Democratic” Senator lost her seat today, confirming the Republican wave, the greatest in sixty-five years.

On the positive side, now Obama will be able to genuinely claim that he cannot do a thing because of the Republicans.

On the negative side, because the President selected by Wall Street (greatest source of financing of Obama in 2007-2008), did not deliver, the street may have to deliver itself through less conventional means: a demonstration in Berkeley saw violence by well-organized demonstrators, some of them hiding behind “planet of the apes” masks. Tear gas, rubber bullets were flying, stores got vandalized, demonstrators sat in front of my car, my five year old asked questions (A U turn resolved the situation).

Fixing a violent plutocracy has never been done without even greater violence, history shows (even the Athenian Republic was re-established after the intervention of a Spartan army, an enormously significant detail often overlooked by conventional historians).

Fortunately, the USA is not all the way there.

But, as the ballot box has failed to deliver change, just as the Federal Reserve had to use unusual means of rekindling economic activity (namely by giving trillions of dollars to the banks which had caused the 2008 crash), it is high time to engage in unusual means of re-establishing democracy. Meanwhile getting the old corrupt bosses out is not a bad way to start.

Overall, the Obama administration and the Democratic Congress which accompanied it, constituted a gigantic lie. And a lie to exert abuse and violence on We The People. So now push is turning to shove, and democracy is fighting back, so far timidly. Hope we can believe, at last?

WORLD WAR ONE: REAL CAUSE, One Chap 1

June 23, 2014

When one writes essays on a site, one tends to repeat oneself a lot. So I am going to change strategy a bit, and write books on my pet subjects (I will just create specific sites for each subject). The essay below ought to be a version of chapter one of:

WORLD WAR ONE FUNDAMENTALS:

World War One (WWI) is still with us. Not just by dismantling some old powers, and creating new ones, from pygmy powers to superpowers. WWI also created new systems of ideas, new moods, new politics, new philosophies. In particular, new versions of history, some of them carefully missing the main causes while imagining others, which never were.

The typical history of World War One pulls the conflict like a rabbit out of a hat at a show for little children. Here is a typical description:

A hundred years ago, in the Balkan city of Sarajevo, Serbian nationalists murdered the dour, pacifist heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary and his beloved wife.

Populations, throughout the world, were shocked but not worried. Why should they be? Under the influence of a powerful anarchist philosophy, there had been many political assassinations in previous years—the king of Italy, two Spanish prime ministers, the Russian czar, the President of the USA William McKinley. None of these leaders’ demise had led to a major crisis. Yet just as a snowball can start an avalanche, this assassination set off a series of events that, in five weeks, led Europe into a general war.

Really? A snowball? That butterfly flapped its wings, and about 3% of the planet died? Yes, 3%, more than 50 million dead, once one has incorporated the so called “Spanish Flu”, which was tied to military deployments, just as the “plague” that had decimated Athens under Pericles, and the Black Plague of 1948, tied in to the “100 year war”, and total war in Eastern Europe  (where the Black Plague was used as a weapon, by catapulting infected corpses over the walls).

So why was there a major crisis in 1914?

Because some bad actors were laying in an ambush they had set.

And by this I do not mean the Black Hand of Serbia, a secret terrorist organization tied in to the secret services of Serbia, both of them hell bent to recover Bosnia-Hercegovina, a state Austro-Hungary had just annexed. The Serbs had come out of wars that had allowed them to recover some of their national territory. That territory had been constitutionally granted to them by the Roman emperor Heraclius in the Seventh Century.

The Black Hand had at least partly organized the assassination in Sarajevo. Thus the request of the Austro-Hungarian government to make a thorough enquiry was certainly justified.  However, many in Austro-Hungary hated Serbia. Paradoxically, the assassinated heir had been a strong pacifying influence (and he was best friend with the conflicted Kaiser, who was, no doubt, sincerely aggrieved). So Austro-Hungary uttered an outrageous ultimatum to Serbia (perhaps some thought Serbia was exhausted from the war just concluded, and thus an easy prey).

Serbian ferocity was the consequences of centuries of horrors at the hands of the invading Turks, and the evil necessities such a thorough war of liberation leads to (yes, Russia suffers from the same syndrome, after centuries of Mongol horrendous exploitation).

Nevertheless, Serbia was a tiny country. It was not a major actor. The major actor in Europe was “Germany”. Historians will little feeling for philosophy always called that country “Germany”.

No doubt the habit came from the Romans, or, more exactly, Caesar. Caesar raided Germania twice, and was launching an incredibly bold  the plan to conquer the whole of Germania… from behind. Instead, it was left to his grand-nephew  Augustus, to try a hare brained frontal assault, followed by an ignominious retreat that left him half mad (Augustus used to call through the night in the corridors of his palace for the general who had led, and died with his annihilated legions).

But “Germany” did not really exist. Over a period of three centuries (500 CE-800 CE), the Franks, who were themselves Romanized Celto-Germans, had conquered Germania, establishing the gigantic Western European empire Caesar dreamed of.

The Franks’ craving for empire was less important to them than equal inheritance, an important anti-plutocratic character in a society with a high birth rate. Thus the “Renovated Roman Empire” they set-up officially in 800 CE, was soon a complicated patchwork of states in theory all vassals to the King of Francia (“emperor in his own kingdom”), and the emperor of the rest. Both were, theoretically, elected.

The patchwork of states soon enjoyed wars as states came and went. States come and go through wars (transfers through inheritance or calm annexations are rare). In a millennium, Western Europe would know more than 50 major wars. (This little detail is was that the Europhobes are not aware of, in their stupidity.)

In the Eighteenth Century, Prussia, heir to the very ferocious military  tradition of the Teutonic Knights (who had been annihilated by a coalition of Poland and Lithuania, but not their spirit!), under the leadership of the homosexual Frederic The Great (paradoxically Hitler’s hero), with considerable help from conniving Britain, and the stupid Madame de Pompadour (Louis XV’s de facto PM), became a military super power. Of the racist, anti-Judaic type. After Napoleon ‘s defeat, in 1815 CE, the dictatorial, anti-Judaic (thus racist), anti-Polish (thus anti-“Slavs”) ways of Prussia got spread about all of Germany.

Don’t ask how Nazism appeared. Ask how it could not have blossomed.

In any case, after defeating France in 1871 CE, Prussia proclaimed the “Kaiserreich”. Calling it “Germany”, is an abuse of language. The Kaiserreich was neither a republic, like France, or a democracy, like France or England. Even Russia aspired to become a constitutional monarchy, and grow its democracy (helped by French and British investments). Not so for the Kaiserreich.

Instead, the men leading that outgrowth of the Prussian State, decided to gamble all in one world war, believing they could defeat France before Russia, and certainly Britain, could muster enough force to become threats.

They had planned war, a world war, within 18 months, on December 11, 1912. They had to manipulate the media. They hesitated. Then in quick succession, US President Wilson’s right arm, Colonel House, showed up in the Kaiser’s office, proposing a world government and an alliance against the “Racially inferior French”. That was June 1, 1914. US support was crucial, as it would allow the Kaiser, thanks to the Netherlands, to break the Franco-British maritime blockade. That was the meat of the matter. Then came Sarajevo: that was the pretext.

The racist, fascist plutocrats at the head of Germany gambled, and they failed.
