Absurd Infamy, Convenient Corruption! Some Dems Say: Iraqis Died? Let Them Drive SUVs!

October 15, 2020

Those who make you believe absurdities do so, because they want you to partake in atrocities.

My position on the Ukraine-Obama-Biden corruption story clings to the most significant facts: Joe Biden himself said, while US Vice President, in widely available video, that he would suspend US aid to Ukraine, effective immediately, if Ukraine’s top prosecutor was not fired. His son was employed by the somewhat satanic company the prosecutor was prosecuting.

Hunter Biden held a directorship at Ukraine’s largest gas company, Burisma, while his father was vice president. Hunter Biden’s payments from Burisma were clearly in excess of US average yearly family income… every month. Hunter Biden was paid at least $83,000 a month, but sometimes more than $200,000… It created an obvious conflict of interest for his father… But Hunter kept flying on Air Force Two. VP Joe Biden did not terminate this conflict of interest. Nor did he ever excuse himself for it; for Joe Biden Burisma was just business as usual.

What Voltaire did not say: Those who make you believe absurdities do so, because they want you to partake in atrocities.

Vice President Joe Biden did urge Ukraine to fire its top prosecutor, under the threat of withholding billions of dollars of U.S. aid… immediately (even the crooked “Factchecker” of the Plutocratic Party admits). The top prosecutor was inquiring at the time on Burisma. Burisma was then Ukraine’s second largest gas company. It is registered in Cyprus, a tax haven. It also operates in Germany, Mexico, Italy, and Kazakhstan.

Twitter Inc ( TWTR ) on Thursday blocked U.S. President Donald Trump’s election campaign account from tweeting, saying a video from the account about Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son violated its rules.

The video posted by the @TeamTrump account referred to a New York Post story that contained details of Hunter Biden’s business dealings with Burisma and said former Vice President Joe Biden had met with an adviser of the company, introduced by Hunter Biden.

Joe Biden is a liar who has been ripping off our country for years,” the video was captioned.

Twitter said the video violated its rules against posting private information, adding the account needed to delete the post in order to continue tweeting.

Twitter said on Wednesday the Post story violated its “hacked materials” policy, which bars the distribution of content obtained through hacking that contains private information or trade secrets, or puts people at risk of physical harm.

Facebook Inc did the same. Jack Dorsey, the Twitter CEO, got his career started by hacking a company… Instead of being put on trial by the state, Dorsey was hired by the company. Dorsey the hacker was not prosecuted for his crime by the state, a violation of equality of all to the law

This helps explain why hacking of personal information has become a thriving industry: please write your Congressperson thanking them for not prosecuting Dorsey. Led by criminals, fleeced by criminals. Dorsey, with his ten billion dollar fortune obtained through Wall Street banks (not through Twitter profits) is the poster boy of the big Brother society we now enjoy!

Facebook and Twitter took proactive steps on Wednesday to restrict dissemination of the Post story in the hours after it was published… They have been rendering this service to me for decades, free of charge, in a remarkably efficient manner to limit the diffusion of my dangerous ideas. (Twelve years ago Daily Kos, a would be progressive sort of Facebook, banned me for suggesting “Medicare For All”.)

Twitter had placed similar restrictions on the account of White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Wednesday, after she shared the Post story.

The Bidens’ Burisma story is not an isolated case: Hunter Biden got money (more than three million dollars) from Moscow’s mayor (OK, the mayor’s spouse… maybe they were having an affair? No, she is a close adviser of Czar Putin himself)… and diamonds from a Chinse tycoon (OK, maybe he is gay, and they were romantically involved), 1.5 billion dollar deal from the Bankf of China, a government bank, and so on (fees on this sort of deal is typically 2%). Consulted, Joe Biden said:”My son has a drug problem…” (Besides, Hunter’s plate was full: Hunter Biden was busy getting a child he refused to recognize until forced by a judge, while receiving the diamonds and having an affair with his brother’s wife…)

Ah, and let’s not forget the same drug as his father: wealth and power. Firms run by Biden “pursued business with international entities that had a stake in American foreign policy decisions, sometimes in countries where connections implied political influence and protectionHunter Biden and his American business partners were part of a broad effort by Burisma to bring in well-connected Democrats during a period when the company was facing investigations backed not just by domestic Ukrainian forces but by officials in the Obama administration…” the New York Times reported.

In this new world, led by pseudo-progressive ex-bartenders, information is free, as long as it favors the plutocracy. Otherwise, it is banned. (Don’t laugh: I am on the receiving end… I don’t know how long I can keep on publishing, each post may be the last…)

Freedom of information should be total, weighted by private life. Total privacy for civilians, none for politicians. Politicians should have no private life, while in office, and should, them and their families, be severely restricted after public office. There is a civilizational jurisprudence for this sort of prudence: it took five centuries for the Roman Republic to fall into plutocracy, because Roman politicians were so restricted that they couldn’t turn their public service into a job.

Another interesting wink of history is that Caesar was unfairly accused by his enemies to have committed war crimes in Gaul… It was unfair, because neither he, nor the republic, had started the war… Nor was he the first to engage in total war during that decade of hostilities. The point is this: the doctrine of the laws of war was well established even centuries prior to this… And the non-respect of the laws of war was the strongest argument around. This should be in an interesting light the fact that a party in the US selected as candidate for ultimate leadership the only politician against whom crime against humanity charges can be brought.

Hiding the role of Biden in fostering the war in Iraq is an infamy. This absurdity hides an atrocity: the killing of millions so that the US financial plutocracy could make US fracking profitable.

What do the Biden voting Marie Antoinettes of America hiding in their suburbs say? Iraqis died? Let them drive SUVs!

COVID Censorship On Social Networks Monopolies To Hurt Trump

October 6, 2020

Twitter removed the following Tweet from Trump:

Flu season is coming up! Many people every year, sometimes over 100,000, and despite the Vaccine, die from the Flu. Are we going to close down our Country? No, we have learned to live with it, just like we are learning to live with Covid, in most populations far less lethal!!!

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

Twitter removed the tweet and added: This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible. Learn more

Trump is right: a bit of perspective is needed here. According to the World Health Organization, Pneumonia killed more than 808 000 children under the age of 5 in 2017, accounting for 15% of all deaths of children under 5 years. COVID lockdowns disorganize healthcare gravely, to the point that they kill more than the alternative, now that the first surprise is past.

***

Twitter and related tech monopolies were fostered to monopoly powers under the Obama administration to manage and spy on We The People. The tech monopolies are anxious to get Trump out of the way. They help, by depicting him as a “misleading and potentially harmful” criminal. So they apply censorship for all to see, in the hope that the fools will thing less of Trump. Now the plutocratic media will say: look Trump is anti-science, they had to remove his misleading, harmful tweet. Tech monopolies have other censorship methods which can’t be seen (but have been applied to me for more than a decade; Tucker Carlson discovered that method the hard way on his show a week ago…).

Hacker who went to college just two years. Hacked a company, and leveraged that into a career. Became a high multibillionaire from stock appreciation caused by Twitter monopoly position (not from profits). Dates models. Knows what viral truth is from being a monopolistic genius. Loved by its sponsor, the Global Deep State.

Closing down countries to fight COVID was justified when the virus was unknown, without therapeutics. But the situation has changed. Lockdowns  have become counterproductive. Twitter thinks it knows science but it probably does not even read Science Magazine (I have a life honorary membership to Science).

Here is from: COVID-19 affects HIV and tuberculosis care. Quarraisha Abdool Karim, Salim S. Abdool Karim. Science 24 Jul 2020, Vol. 369, Issue 6502, pp. 366-368. DOI: 10.1126/science.abd1072.

Access to medical care for non–COVID-19 conditions was limited during the lockdown, with health facilities experiencing declines in the number of TB and HIV patients collecting their medication on schedule. The World Health Organization estimates that a 6-month disruption of antiretroviral therapy could lead to more than 500,000 additional deaths from AIDS-related illness in 2021 and a reversal of gains made in the prevention of mother-to-child transmission (10). In South Africa, 1090 TB patients and 10,950 HIV patients in one province have not collected their medications on schedule since the start of the national lockdown (11). A national survey of 19,330 individuals in South Africa found that 13.2% indicated that their medication for chronic disease was inaccessible during the lockdown (12). Furthermore, hospital admissions for HIV and TB declined as a result of hospitals reducing nonurgent admissions in preparation for a surge of COVID-19 cases and owing to closures to reduce exposure to COVID-19 patients. The potential negative impact on the continuity of care for HIV and TB patients could have substantial repercussions for both treatment and control, including development of drug resistance (6).

One can also consult the World Health Organization:

The cost of inaction: COVID-19-related service disruptions could cause hundreds of thousands of extra deaths from HIV.

At this point, COVID is used politically. Statistics are unreliable: one cannot compare countries to each other, or even to themselves in the fullness of time. There is no universal criterion of when a person died from COVID. If someone with COVID dies in a motorbike crash dies, will that person be counted as a COVID death? It depends. Should it be counted as a COVID death? It depends. The victim could have developed Guillain-Barré syndrome. Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is a rare neurological disorder in which the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks part of its peripheral nervous system. It seems FDR had it (it was not Polio). COVID patients can develop it, it is not so rare with COVID, days after their other symptoms are gone.

Twitter and company are censors and mind manipulators. Their behavior is anti-civilizational. Potentially harmful. In their desire to get their way, they use censorship. They have ways which prevent ideas and rebellious authors to spread.

And the tech monopolies can kill because they spread misinformation, perhaps unwittingly, but certainly deliberately. The coronavirus is, basically, airborn. Most masks do not stop it. So people get it from confined spaces. Chinese dictatorship disinformation fostered the belief the coronavirus was spreading mostly from surfaces and masks stopped it. Both assertions seem increasingly false. Meanwhile Brazil is using Sinevac, the Chinse COVID vaccine made in China, and widely distributed there already. Hey, maybe I should be censored for propagating this truth which the Chinese dictatorship loving tech monopolies will surely find misleading? Anything which question the ways and means of the origin of this coronavirus now, is beyond “fringe”: it is potentially “misleading and harmful”.

Tech monopolies are a disaster for the progress of equity, social justice, humanity, mind and science, or even tech: they steal with impunity from all, Obama made it so, thus it should be right. Obama was the puppet with the strongest strings.

Don’t worry: I am censored aplenty already, the truth shall not go far. And enjoy this site while it still exists: unknown forces have tried to take it down since I published: Do Iraqi Lives Matter? I wonder why not.

Speaking of “fringe”, my friend Roger Penrose was long viewed as “fringe”. Just as yours truly, but more justifiably famously, Penrose believes Quantum Mechanics is coming short. He believes, as I do, in “objective collapse”. My idea is that matter distribution itself causes collapse… creating inertia and Dark Matter, among others things. In any case, Penrose was not well considered among “serious” physicists. However it has become increasingly clear that serious physicists are not serious. Recent physics Nobels have gone to astronomy and Quantum Optics (as they should have). Forty years ago, it would have been unimaginable that Penrose would get the Nobel in physics. In my eyes, he deserved it. But at the time, he was viewed as too “fringe”. Well, he just got the Nobel. So there is a ray of hope that significance arises anew…

Truth without significance has no meaning.

Silicon Valley Inquisition “Refutes Inaccuracy”

May 28, 2020

New York Times is crowing: OAKLAND, Calif. — Twitter added information to refute the inaccuracies in President Trump’s tweets for the first time on Tuesday… (Trump had said that “No wayMail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent…. “… In most states and nations, mail-in ballots are illegal… But in California they are systematic and now with something really shocking, “vote harvesting“…)

Tell us, New York Times, the “newspaper of record in the USA“, how does one “refute an inaccuracy“? That reminded me of the Catholic Inquisition, an expert in refuting inaccuracies… Now the half intelligent editorialist at the NYT is viewed as an authority of the Silicon Valley, land of the monopolies for which Obama changed the Patent Law to make them even stronger.

I sent the following comment right away, it was of course blocked (by the purely rotten). That was 15 hours ago. My comment should have been the second one. Then more than a thousand comments full of hatred for Trump were published. Hatred is a sacred concept in American politics. This way, the NYT cultivates hatred, and the love of vile, one sided rush to anger.

It’s hilarious to see the pseudo-left glorify weasel language from plutocrats (in this case Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, another of these multibillionaire owner of a company which always lost money… Doesn’t that sound fishy?). [1]

Trump could have expressed himself more accurately by condemning “Vote Harvesting”, which is legal in California [2]. I personally vote my mail, sort of, but I think “Vote Harvesting” should be illegal. Here is my comment:

***

Depending upon one plutocrat, or even a herd of them, to ascertain truth, is the road to hell, whether paved with the best intentions, or not. Moreover, accusing people of “inaccuracy” is an even deeper moral and mental failure exhibiting an inability to comprehend how mental creativity, and outrageous blindness works. Incompleteness theorems in logic show that, absent deliberate “inaccuracy”, no progress towards truth can be accomplished.  This is a matter of (meta) logic, not “opinion”.

Those who want to castigate “inaccuracy” seem to be saying that their all-seeing eye has determined what is accurate, and what is not. Also construing into moral rectitude the power of one man determining what can be published, or not, is to accept the sort of mental dictatorship human history and the history of infamy, is riddled with, and propelled by.

Unfortunately, we saw it all before: consider the Catholic Inquisition, or the Puritans doing away with those heathens they pretended to be praying for. Too much purity, too much certainty, to much conviction that one defines the truth, while ignoring other perspectives, is the road to extremism, mental racism, alienation, and the deepest error. History is full of these seductive, yet most terrible angels, and the holier than thou mentalities inspiring them. Exciting them further is no way to accomplish spiritual, let alone intellectual, or civilizational progress. It’s high time to understand that progress towards better understanding is intrinsically messy, not something adjudicated by censors, let alone the wealthiest.[3]

Apparently, massive use of VOTE HARVESTING flipped most of Orange County to “Democrats” in 2018. The GOP has noticed.

Now the NYT mixed the story of a multimillionaire in salary, an ex GOP Representative, who runs a rabidly anti-Trump show with his wife, the daughter of the guy who organized secretly the attack on Afghanistan in 1979 (!) I don’t make these things up, they are incredible. Here, a sacred icon of the pseudo-left is the daughter of a “Democrat” guy who organized the death of what… Five millions?  The information was, of course, CENSORED in the USA!

https://patriceayme.wordpress.com/2013/01/21/usa-attack-against-afghanistan/

Joe Scarborough laughed approvingly at Imus’s description that he “had sex with an intern so he had to kill her” (listen to the tape, link below). Where do they find such vile people to educate We The People with? Vile Joe calls this “vile”. To report his laughter. Looking very dignified, Joe says: “Delete”.
You want accuracy, Silicon Valley? Until last year, Twitter lost money. Still the head of Twitter, Dorsey, is a great multibillionaire… He just claimed that he will be giving a billion dollars to charity. “Democrats” love this sort of lion of finance. When you go to their parties, you can, literally, I have done it, call it devotion to critical analysis, eat… gold.

[1] Here is an extract from the piece of philosophical trash at the New York Time:

Brad Parscale, a manager of the Trump 2020 campaign, said, “We always knew that Silicon Valley would pull out all the stops to obstruct and interfere with President Trump getting his message through to voters.”

[That part is accurate… The Impeachment Hoax derailed the change in the Patent Law, back where it should be. Right now Chinese citizens have more Patent Rights than US citizens… NYT goes on:]

“A Twitter spokesman said Mr. Trump’s tweets about mail-in ballots “contain potentially misleading information about voting processes and have been labeled to provide additional context.”

[All discourse containing potentially misleading information shall be “labeled”? Why not censor it as the NYT does, when it doesn’t like it?]

Disinformation experts said Twitter’s move indicated how social media platforms that had once declared themselves neutral were increasingly having to abandon that stance.

“This is the first time that Twitter has done something that has in some small way attempted to rein in the president,” said Tiffany C. Li, a visiting professor at Boston University School of Law. “There’s been a gradual shift in the way that Twitter has treated content moderation. You see them taking on more of their duty and responsibility to create a healthy online speech environment.”

What’s healthy about censoring others by accusing them of “inaccuracy”? When the NYT censors comments like mine above, is it because I was inaccurate quoting the First and Second Incompleteness theorems in second order logic? Do monkeys understand calculus? Or is it, simply, because the NYT wants a readership which hates?

***

[2] I have semi-voted by mail myself. I filled in the ballot, then dropped it in person. However, since 2018, some states like California have enabled “VOTE HARVESTING”: paid operators go around with ballots, have them filled and drop them. It’s hard to see why this should be legal. According to the GOP 26 races were they were ahead for weeks were lost after the mail-in ballots came in…

Here are the “inaccurate” tweets. Twitter sent to links to “correct” Trump… Links to the Washington Post and CNN, two media owned or founded by billionaires who hate Trump because they fear his unpredictable anti-monopolistic tendencies… Under Obama, the Patent System was reorganized to make the monopolies much more powerful.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent. Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed. The Governor of California is sending Ballots to millions of people, anyone…..
….living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got there, will get one. That will be followed up with professionals telling all of these people, many of whom have never even thought of voting before, how, and for whom, to vote. This will be a Rigged Election. No way!
Twitter added the link (somehow, it didn’t copy, perhaps because it’s embarrassing that it sends to the WashPo/Bezos and CNN…!)
Get the facts about mail-in ballots
California changed its rules before the 2018 midterm elections to allow persons other than family members to collect and submit ballots. Last-minute submissions of votes in the election delayed results and some argued that it altered the outcome of several elections.[7][8][9] At a Washington Post event[10] in late November 2018[2] (a few weeks after the elections[10]), Republican then-Speaker Paul Ryan said that “California just defies logic to me” and that his party was “only down 26 seats the night of the election and three weeks later, [it] lost basically every California race. This election system they have—I can’t begin to understand what ‘ballot harvesting’ is.”[10][2] Meanwhile, Republicans seek to improve their own use of the practice.[11]

[3] If they do that to Trump, they do way worse to little people such as yours truly, and they have. I am nearly more censored than published… Some media and search engines have blocked me totally, for life… Same story as the Fatwa in Pakistan, but more discrete, thus efficient…

Fake Reputation, Fake Society, Fake Economy, Fake Truth, Real Power, Real Stupidity

January 30, 2018

Today’s society is pervaded by luminaries with millions of “followers”. Selena Gomez (never heard of her) has nearly 150 million followers, followed by a famous tax evader who kicks a ball for a living, making him popular with young losers, etc. The buns of Kim Kardashian make the top five. Some will sneer that it’s not surprising that dummies are so popular with dummies. However, it turns out many “followers”, and perhaps most, in all too many cases, have been purchased.

The New York Times (we are friends again since it apparently lifted its censorship of your truly, having changed “leader”) made an extensive inquiry, in just one small corner of the web. The NYT purchased 25,000 followers (for $225!) from a company called Devumi, and then using those, proceeded to uncover much more.

“The Follower Factory: Everyone wants to be popular online.

Some even pay for it.

Inside social media’s black market. By Nicholas Confessore, Gabriel J.x. Dance, Richard Harris And Mark Hansen. Jan. 27, 2018

Celebrities, athletes, pundits and politicians have millions of fake followers.

The Times reviewed business and court records showing that Devumi has more than 200,000 customers, including reality television stars, professional athletes, comedians, TED speakers, pastors and models. In most cases, the records show, they purchased their own followers. In others, their employees, agents, public relations companies, family members or friends did the buying. For just pennies each — sometimes even less — Devumi offers Twitter followers, views on YouTube, plays on SoundCloud, the music-hosting site, and endorsements on LinkedIn, the professional-networking site.”

One has to be reminded, at this point that the five richest so-called “public” (so-called public, in Americanese) companies in the universe are all into “social media” (where they do pretty much what they want, including no paying taxes at all, quite often!) Actually the fakery, the lies, the inequity is so pervasive, it looks hard to see where to start. Contemplate the one below:

I am the cat, you are the birdie tweeting around. Twitter queen Martha Lane-Fox, British Lord and Plutocrat, in her office. Fake people, Real potentates. I Made It. Why Didn’t You, Loser? Ms. Lane Fox, a British e-commerce pioneer, member of Parliament and Twitter board member, blamed a “rogue employee” for a series of follower purchases spanning more than a year. She declined to name the person, adds the New York Times. The lady may be a Lord, but she is also a tramp.

The More Powerful The Tech Monopolies, The Greater Obama’s Plausible future Income Stream used to look:

One has to be reminded that Trump’s predecessor did all he could to make those companies ever more powerful, at the cost, not just of decency and democracy, but innovation itself. Killing innovation is the royal road to plutocracy, fascism, war. But let’s read more of the Times:

“At a time when Facebook, Twitter and Google are grappling with an epidemic of political manipulation and fake news, Devumi’s fake followers also serve as phantom foot soldiers in political battles online. Devumi’s customers include both avid supporters and fervent critics of President Trump, and both liberal cable pundits and a reporter at the alt-right bastion Breitbart. Randy Bryce, an ironworker seeking to unseat Representative Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, [Paul Ryan is the head of Congress, no less!] purchased Devumi followers in 2015, when he was a blogger and labor activist…

Devumi’s products serve politicians and governments overseas, too. An editor at China’s state-run news agency, Xinhua, paid Devumi for hundreds of thousands of followers and retweets on Twitter, which the country’s government has banned but sees as a forum for issuing propaganda abroad. An adviser to Ecuador’s president, Lenín Moreno, bought tens of thousands of followers and retweets for Mr. Moreno’s campaign accounts during last year’s elections.

“Social media is a virtual world that is filled with half bots, half real people,” said Rami Essaid, the founder of Distil Networks, a cybersecurity company that specializes in eradicating bot networks. “You can’t take any tweet at face value. And not everything is what it seems.”

High follower counts are also critical for so-called influencers, a budding market of amateur tastemakers and YouTube stars where advertisers now lavish billions of dollars a year on sponsorship deals. The more people influencers reach, the more money they make. According to data collected by Captiv8, a company that connects influencers to brands, an influencer with 100,000 followers might earn an average of $2,000 for a promotional tweet, while an influencer with a million followers might earn $20,000.”

Quick mathematics, which the New York Times didn’t make shows this: a million followers will cost: $225 x 40 = $9,000. Yet, it earns $20,000. Thus purchasing followers enables one to make more than 100% profits. None of this is surprising: the mood was set by Obama’s 2007-2008 campaign (on which I worked and helped considerably behind the scenes; I would certainly not redo exactly what I did then, BTW). Obama, when talking about his campaign never talks about ideas he promoted then (turns out there were none to be put in practice), but how he beat up the opposition by using Internet followers games. He is not even aware that he reduced politics to a celebrity game (with him Obama as celebrity central), instead of an elaboration of ideas. That has helped setting up a disastrous mood that popularity is more important than essence.

“Genuine fame often translates into genuine social media influence, as fans follow and like their favorite movie stars, celebrity chefs and models. But shortcuts are also available: On sites like Social Envy and DIYLikes.com, it takes little more than a credit-card number to buy a huge following on almost any social media platform. Most of these sites offer what they describe as “active” or “organic” followers, never quite stating whether real people are behind them. Once purchased, the followers can be a powerful tool.”

But it gets worse.

***

The Truth Is What Shall Make Plutocrats Wealthier:

Follower counts have started to become part of the system the social media monopolies are using to determine who they “recommend”. One expects no less from people without a college education, except from a deluge of dollars coming their way.

“You see a higher follower count, or a higher retweet count, and you assume this person is important, or this tweet was well received,” said Rand Fishkin, the founder of Moz, a company that makes search engine optimization software. “As a result, you might be more likely to amplify it, to share it or to follow that person.”

Twitter and Facebook can be similarly influenced. “Social platforms are trying to recommend stuff — and they say, ‘Is the stuff we are recommending popular?’” said Julian Tempelsman, the co-founder of Smyte, a security firm that helps companies combat online abuse, bots and fraud. “Follower counts are one of the factors social media platforms use.”

A mood of fakery and theft has settled over civilization. Indeed, critters monetarize their follower counts, and certainly, even more so, their power.

“While some said they believed Devumi was supplying real potential fans or customers, others acknowledged that they knew or suspected they were getting fake accounts. Several said they regretted their purchases. “It’s fraud,” said James Cracknell, a British rower and Olympic gold medalist who bought 50,000 followers from Devumi. “People who judge by how many likes or how many followers, it’s not a healthy thing…”

A Twitter account belonging to Paul Hollywood, the celebrity baker, was deleted after The Times emailed him with questions. Mr. Hollywood then sent a reply: “Account does not exist…”

Ms. Ireland has over a million followers on Twitter, which she often uses to promote companies with whom she has endorsement deals. The Wisconsin-based American Family Insurance, for example, said that the former model was one of its most influential Twitter “brand ambassadors,” celebrities who are paid to help promote products.

But in January last year, Ms. Ireland had only about 160,000 followers. The next month, an employee at the branding agency she owns, Sterling/Winters, spent about $2,000 for 300,000 more followers, according to Devumi records. The employee later made more purchases…”

Lane Fox is a spectacular example of how plutocracy works nowadays. Born and raised into and attending Oxford U. (in drama and politics, of course), she got on the “.com bubble“, became very rich that way (her company was bought for nearly a billion; we don’t know who slept with whom… I knew once a pretty pushy young lady, without much education (I use to climb with her), she met the right guys and made millions at the time). Lane Fox was made a member of the “most excellent” Order of the British Empire, and a member of the House of Lord, where she sits as a baroness with a fancy title. This is most excellent, and most rotten by the same token. We The People will erroneously scoff: such people “lead” the world, into the abyss.

Says the New York Times: “Martha Lane Fox, a businesswoman and member of Britain’s House of Lords, blamed a rogue employee for at least seven Devumi purchases made using Ms. Lane Fox’s email address. The biggest — 25,000 followers — was made days after she became a Twitter board member in April 2016.”

They would kill you with their own kitchen knife, with their DNA, and only their DNA, all over, and blame “rogue employees”. But how uncouth of me: I forgot, those celebrities own the world, we are all their employees… when we are lucky (otherwise we would be homeless…)

***

Influenced By 14 Years Old:

The New York Times observes: “More than a hundred self-described influencers — whose market value is even more directly linked to their follower counts on social media — have purchased Twitter followers from Devumi. Justin Blau, a popular Las Vegas-based D.J. who performs as 3LAU, acquired 50,000 followers and thousands of retweets. In an email, Mr. Blau said a former member of his management team bought them without his approval.

At least five Devumi influencer customers are also contractors for HelloSociety, an influencer agency owned by The New York Times Company.

Influencers need not be well known to rake in endorsement money. According to a recent profile in the British tabloid The Sun, two young siblings, Arabella and Jaadin Daho, earn a combined $100,000 a year as influencers, working with brands such as Amazon, Disney, Louis Vuitton and Nintendo. Arabella, who is 14, tweets under the name Amazing Arabella.

But her Twitter account — and her brother’s — are boosted by thousands of retweets purchased by their mother and manager, Shadia Daho, according to Devumi records. Ms. Daho did not respond to repeated attempts to reach her.”

None Of This Is Legal, So Why Do They Rule Over US?

New York Attorney General woke up, after the publication of the preceding, online, by the NYT. “Impersonation and deception are illegal under New York law,” Mr. Schneiderman wrote on Twitter. “We’re opening an investigation into Devumi and its apparent sale of bots using stolen identities.”

The problem of truth is fundamental. Without truth on the basic facts, one can’t think correctly. The problem of robotic accounts is simple to solve: there is existing law, as Mr. Schneiderman noticed. More generally a star system should be used. It should be multidimensional. One dimension for plausible veracity, another for significance. And probably more.

Plausible veracity” is different from “truth”. “Truth” is whn one has elimianted the alternatives. “Plausible veracity” is when no blatantly false fake facts are used.

For example my highly significant (were they true wisdom) have high plausible veracity: I genuinely search and destroy inaccurate facts. Indeed, although I generally compose my history essays from memory, I check particular facts when I use them crucially. For example, although I know pretty well the story of the siege of Vercingetorix by Caesar at Alesia, should i write an essay on this, I would check the troop number (I think Caesar had around 50,000 soldiers, and the Gauls at least 4 times that; if I wrote an essay, i would check the latest numbers, and exert judgment whether they are reliable or not).

***

Should “Truth” Be Privately Determined By Plutocrats And Their Servants?

A crucial point missed about big social networks is that they have become “public utilities“. They are not owned just by themselves, but, de facto, by the public. Actually, if not for the public, they would be content empty. Ideally, We The People would be owners of these “social networks”, as we already own all their content.

To police “social media”, it has been suggested that “social media”, which, at this point, are private companies, not “public utilities” in the legal sense, would do it themselves. In particular, that they would evaluate truth. As we saw above, that’s not what they do. Mark Z, founder of Facebook, is a guy whose ultimate philosophy, one year was “eat what he killed”. So Mark spent a year educating himself by killing rabbits, chicken, pigs, and carrying the corpses in a car’s trunk with an elated restaurant owner driving around Silicon Valley (my spouse interviewed said elated and grateful restaurant owner).

Those individuals, those multi billionaires, those plutocrats can’t do it: all the education they have is dollars and how to make dirty deals, all the way to presidential level, to gather more dollars, influence, powers, and no taxes to pay, while posing as lovers of man (“philanthropists”). Some have little education aside from computer program tinkering (Gates and Zuckenberg left in second year college at Harvard; Bezos completed college, but not the late Steve Jobs). That makes these one-track minds particularly apt to misunderstand the notion of plausibility and a general appreciation for human culture.

Truth, or, more exactly, plausible veracity, like justice, should be a matter judged by We The People, or its representative institutions… Once those who have it have been given plentiful opportunity to expose it. An example: California & France decided to vaccinate forcefully! (Ah, but the argument can be made, that the government of We The People has been captured by plutocrats. As observed. So we can’t let, as is already happening, Plutos decide of the truth. That’s not a valid retort, as plutocracy, already happening, is not democracy, indeed, that’s precisely the point! “We The Satanists, We The Plutocrats” is not “We The People“!)

We need a department of truth, or ministry of truth… but not as G. Orwell envisioned it. As I just said, this is already happening, and it will happen more if “social networks“, right now led by plutocrats, without “public utility mandate“, are encouraged, as they presently are, to exert censorship (nude female chest will get you in trouble in Saudi Arabia, and Facebook; thus face book is, at least partly so, Saudi Arabia, even though Zuckenberg had a “Bar Mitzvah”, a sort of Jewish enthronement, when he was 13…!)

Technology has always evolved, ever more complex. Thus laws have evolved, ever more complex. Having a “department of Justice” was fiction, 5,000 years ago. Now no country goes without. But justice without truth is impossible. Just as having the proper moods, while being immersed in lies, is also impossible. Justice is mandatory, truth should be recommended. Justice is mandatory, truth should be recommended. Either are too important, too vital, without We The People oversight…

To try to fight off Russian propaganda (which is very sophisticated, have a look at “RT”), Ukraine created a “ministry of information policy”.

And what of foxy lady Lane Fox?

Here is a few more details,  thanks to Wikipedia, of how .com celebrity can be leveraged:

Lane Fox was appointed Commander of The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2013 New Year Honours for “services to the digital economy and charity”.[23] In February 2013 she was assessed as one of the 100 most powerful women in the United Kingdom by Woman’s Hour on BBC Radio 4.[24] In the same month it was announced that she was to be created a life peer in the House of Lords as a crossbencher.[25]

On 25 March 2013, she was raised to the peerage as Baroness Lane-Fox of Soho, of Soho in the City of Westminster[26] and was introduced in the House of Lords the next day…

Now foxy Fox rules over Tweeter. As a director, she makes more than $200,000 a year. Not bad for meeting only a necessary three times a year (I guess first class travel from the House of Lords is paid too!) This sort of foxes owe their elevation to the ruling elite, they will serve it, tooth, claw and nail. And their souls are all devoted to the powers that be. That’s why they get rewarded so well.

Remember Obama’s Nobel peace prize? Obama went on to start a full new nukes program, and inventing “signature strikes”, in which, if people gathered somewhere, and Obama took the fancy of doing so, he would kill them all, by pressing a button. Once Obama’s soul had been bought with the Nobel Peace Prize, he would do whatever it took, to pay back his debt. Say what you want, he is no ingrate… Say what you want too, but we all now pay the moral price: the truth is Obama has made these into times of deliberate murder, and all avert their eyes, from sheer Political Correctness (Obama, having brown skin was viewed as PC, on this ground alone, by hundreds of millions, even with yours truly included, and this is the truth… Just as it is the truth that dozens of millions are starting to realize they were had, just as we were had by Hillary Clinton whose latest revealed extravaganza was to protect a harasser of women…)

This world society where fake people, fake appreciation, fake ideas, fake news, fake truths, really rule is clearly heading towards real imbecility, not just real inequality. Just when intelligence is in need of a quantum jump, to avoid an all too deplorable outcome…

The truth of the elite is the truth which serves the elite. Contemplating any alternative, is to lie to oneself.

How Social Media Fosters Intellectual Fascism

February 4, 2017

Social media, as presently practiced, is without appropriate moral guidance: no philosopher has come and established what proper behavior ought to be (here I am, like Zorro!)  First, one should avoid alienation. Instead alienation is presently encouraged.

Social media, as presently practiced, encourages intellectual fascism, from lack of wisdom, education, poor mastery of the participants’ own emotional systems, lack of understanding of how one gets to superior knowledge, etc..

Such is the present state of affairs.

It needs to be rectified, otherwise nukes will fly. Can it be rectified?

29 Year Old Attacker Of The Louvres, Son Of An Egyptian General. People Become Like This, Because they Have Not Been Taught Alternative Knowledge From The Hatred, Disguised As Coming From The Great Dog In The Sky…

Yes. Studies such as the one in the Guardian have to be advertized, debated. “Twitter accounts really are echo chambers, study finds

As in ancient human cultures, users of the social media site interact most with those who share their political views, Demos report reveals

When it comes to politics and the internet, birds of a feather really do flock together, according to research confirming the existence of online echo chambers among the most politically engaged Twitter users.

A study of 2,000 Twitter users who publicly identified as either Labour, Tory, Ukip or SNP supporters has found they are far more likely to interact with others from the same party and to share articles from publications that match their views. Ukip supporters are also far more engaged with “alternative” media outlets, including Breitbart and Infowars, two US-based sites identified with the alt-right that have been regularly accused of publishing misleading or false stories.

The research was carried out by the thinktank Demos, which looked at the tweets sent between May and August last year by 2,000 people who have publicly stated their political allegiance on their profiles and who had at some point addressed a member of parliament in their tweets.

Report author Krasodomski-Jones said the behaviour was exacerbated by some media outlets using polarised views to attract audiences. “This attention economy, vying for clicks, eyeballs, pushes people into very confirmatory outlets. The rising popularity of this sort of alternative news is something that caters specifically to a specific group. It’s more than just news – it’s ideologically driven.

…Tom Stafford, a cognitive scientist at Sheffield University, said that those who had already shared their political allegiance in their Twitter profile could be even more likely to use the articles they shared to reinforce that identity… Stafford added: “Homophily, where we hang out with people like us, is an ancient human trait, resulting from our basic psychology. That applies to segmentation of media as well.”

It’s not just in the matter of politics: after I exposed letters of Marcus Aurelius, showing his burning hatred of Christians, a philosopher in New York, Massimo P. banned and blocked me angrily from diverse sites he commands. (Marcus Aurelius is the Muhammad of “stoics”.)

Another name for homophily (loving the same) is tribalism.

I have observed the social media madness as a personal victim of it in the last six months. I saw individuals who I long considered to be friends engage in public campaigns against me, calling me a lot of things they admitted (even then!) that I was not (such as a “racist troll”). One of them who has a significant management position in New York (plutocratic) media confided he had to do so, because his employers read his Twitter and Facebook accounts! “Nice” excuse. Meanwhile, thousands of people who don’t know me, nor what I write, were told I am a racist, and that’s all they know about me. Those thousands in the public who don’t know me were also informed I am anti-Muslim (I am anti-Literal Islam, and that’s just the opposite! I have at least a dozen very close “Muslim” friends… all of them, like me, critical about the Islamist ideology! Ironically, I share housing with them, especially on vacation. I was educated in “Muslim” countries…)

The result of the campaign of hatred against me was that several social media contacts I had in Academia “blocked” me (some were physicists, other philosophers). Thus my alternative version of reality, which would otherwise have added dimensions to their minds, has been annihilated. I am also now deprived of their views, which, however silly, I often found interesting.

I am not a racist. My family is multi-racial from three continents and Pacific islands. Many pseudo-leftists call people they don’t like “racist”, these days, using the word for whatever, including the weather.

So why is the insult “racist” hurled at me so often these days? Their excuse, beside plain rage? As I said above, some cynically some told me:’my job depends upon it!‘ My superiors, bemoaned the art director in New York, watch my social web activity, so I had to publicly hate you, renounce you, condemn you… I have been told this, and was supposed, me the hated one, to show empathy… to my haters. It sounds straight out of a passage in the Bible, the Last Supper…

Another cause of the rage is plain incomprehension. Not only they do not understand what I say, but when they start to understand a bit, the first thing they understand, is that there are very important things they did not even know existed. These huge gaps in understanding have to do with their (mostly self-imposed) tribalism and their closely related alienation (to reality in this case). Tribalism is an addiction, it probably excites the same rewarding circuits in the brain as other drugs.

If one wants to make war to people, the first step is to alienate them. This is French for cutting “Liens” (bounds, relationships).

The present mentality to insult, block, & not reflectively debate, contradictors on the Internet boosts & teaches alienation, violence, war.

Real damage is done when real debate is made impossible. Worse: alienation is presently viewed as glorious. The damage is not just to individuals, but to the collective. Tribalism makes the collective stupid, aggressive.

Intellectual fascism consists in being led by only a few ideas. The best way is to tweet like a bird, exclusively among one’s flock.

The arch-typical leading fascist idea is that of Judeo-Christo-Islamist metaprinciple: “God is great, Allahu Akbar”. A friend of his being: “Dieu le veut, God wills it, Inch Allah”.Those are traditionally uttered, while committing the greatest infamies. They excuse them all.

The attacker of the Louvres in Paris tweeted less than 20 minutes before attack:…His last tweet posted before the attack, shows on the account a smiling El-Hamahmy leaning against a wall, a number of angry messages, including: ‘No negotiation, no compromise, no letting up, certainly no climb down, relentless war.’

His father is an Egyptian general. The enthusiastic Islamist rented a $2000/week apartment in the center of Paris. He went to the French Republic from Dubai, to attack the world’s most visited museum (justly so!) Hamahmy was following the most glorified mood of Muhammad, made explicit in the Qur’an, of hatred for the Republic and secular law. Yes, Islamism has to be eradicated, and it’s, first, a philosophical problem: one cannot put soldiers everywhere. All the more as such individuals are not just Islamists, or terrorists, they are TWITTERRORISTS.

President “Finally” On His “Own”?

May 19, 2015

So the President Of The U.S. (“POTUS”) claims. Hope we can believe in.

Barack Obama just got his own Twitter account. Just like millions of teenagers out there! He is coming out on his “own”! Let me reproduce the exchange:

President Obama ‏@POTUS May 18

“Hello, Twitter! It’s Barack. Really! Six years in, they’re finally giving me my own account.”

Patrice Ayme ‏@Tyranosopher

@POTUS Welcome! A question: who is “they”? What else are “they” “finally giving”? In any case, nice to see you on your “own”.

Barack Obama committed a Freudian slip, on steroids. This time, and not for the first time, he admitted he is not on his own. Barack Obama, president of the USA, is even more grounded that the average American teenager.

Some will say that this is understandable: a president, like other top politicians, has to have “handlers”, people in the shadows, telling him what to do, what to say, where to go, writing his speeches, etc.

A president, some will say, has to “preside”, represent everybody, the nation itself, he, or she, cannot be just an individual, but a function, an institution.

However, who does he talk to?

When one visits Barack Obama, and pays attention to the surroundings, what is striking is the military deployment. Hundreds of superb professionals, trained to kill with heavy weapons are all around, hidden from public view. It has to be hidden, because it were not, the USA would start to look like a military dictatorship. We don’t want to feel that way, do we?

So who goes through this (peregrinating) military fortress? The best and the brightest. Access is denied to common folks. Serious scholarly studies have show that, in the matter of legislation, only the preoccupations of the elite go through.

(Since this is known, that only the elite legislates, the very knowledge of this anti-democratic horror may have change the behavior of the “Democratic Party” rank and file. Thus, I feel incline to believe, the resistance to the Trans Pacific Partnership, the TPP. That other scholarly studies, just published have shown that such “free trade” treaties are reduced quality employment in the USA, did not improve matters.)

Who is the best and brightest? The most powerful and wealthiest. Those who will feed and comfort all the critters of the present Obama administration, once that vaporizes in two years.

In other words, the president, and his collaborators, talk to the powers that be. The wealth, that is.

Barack Obama was explicitly told, before he became President, that he had to leave his friends behind. “They only cause problems.” So he was told by a plutocrat who used to be Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff, Erskine Bowles.

Those are the ones who control Barack Obama as if he were an unruly teenager. After six years of good behavior, those worthies are happy to let little boy Barack get his own Twitter account. Little Barack is now a big boy. A boy who served the big white masters very well. They are grateful, and impressed.

So what we see is that, having just one, or a few people in charge, cannot work: unavoidably, they will come under the spell of the pre-existing class of owners.

That was a well-known problem. So Robespierre, Saint-Just and company decided to exterminate the pre-existing owners and controllers (the famous “Terreur” of the French Revolution). Earlier in England, Cromwell, the “Lord Protector” had instituted a similar system which dissipated quickly after his death (which happened within 5 years). The Terreur lasted roughly a year, before its perpetrators got cut down to size.

However Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and the Khmers Rouges were more successful: they eradicated the pre-existing class, ruthlessly. In retrospect, everybody agrees that was a mistake (and the present “Princelings” in command in China’s “People Republic” will be the first to tell you so, thus they reconstituted an elite composed mostly of themselves!)

The solution?

Get out of the class problem entirely. How? Make an increasing number of drastic decisions subject to the vote of the People.

For example, our newly liberated boy Barack wants to get “trade authority” to negotiate the TPP (and a similar Transatlantic Treaty). Then he will talk to the adults, the very wealthy and powerful adults who control his Twitter accounts and all what he is supposed to feel and think about, and how.

Why not to submit the TPP to a referendum?

Because most of the individuals negotiating the TPP right now are employees of giant corporations? Whereas government representatives are few; the TPP will give corporations right they don’t have now, such as modifying laws, and suing states. Although that was hidden below thick layers of lies.

That the boy who could only get his Twitter account after six years wants to represent, all by his little self, nearly a billion people in the West, is surrealistic.

We used to have representatives and officials and ministers, out of necessity. In countries such as France, or, a fortiori, the USA, it would take weeks to travel across. In the Middle-Ages, only the cardinals living around Rome, no more than 20 of them, would elect the Popes. A cardinal in England, or Spain, or Germany, would not take part in these elections.

But now we have the Internet.

The root of the word “minister”, as in “Prime Minister”, is the Latin ministrare “to serve, attend, wait upon”. In the Middle-Ages, it was closely related to servitude (or ministrels, the musicians who attended to courts). We don’t need those servants anymore: they have other masters, they do not obey us anymore.

Thanks to the Internet, we can give our own opinions, and debate them. Switzerland is increasingly using these “votations”. The system works splendidly. Most controversial measures lead to fierce debates, and public opinion varies accordingly.

Debates do not have to replace democratic institutions (army, police, justice, the orders of MDs, etc.). These institutions, which are meritocratic, are the answer to Socrates’ objection to electing generals and the like (as was done in Athens).

However Socrates did not object to Athens National Assembly, which often necessitated a quorum of 6,000. That meant that farmers of Attica, if they wanted to vote, had to leave their farms for many days. Nowadays, with the Internet, they could vote while having breakfast.

Debates allow good ideas to exterminate bad ideas. That’s what we need.

We don’t need to be led by people who need six years of good behavior to be authorized to have their own account.
