Ukraine War: Slow Going World War, But Putin Wants You To Know He Is A Killer

August 23, 2023

Opinions about where and how Ukraine should attack, with its depleted means, are to be taken with a grain of salt:  disinformation played a crucial role in 1944. The Nazis were told, and believed, that the attacks would come through the Pas De Calais, or the airfield in the alpine Vercors mesa in south-east France. So the Nazis held (Pas de Calais), or sent (Vercors) crack divisions which would have thrown allied troops back into the sea, had they been sent to Normandy.

For a few weeks, the Nazis were one division short of throwing the Allies in the sea. They engaged more th 10,000 troops in Vercors, including rare elite SS paratroopers.

France has tripled her 155mm shell production, to feed Ukraine’s needs, and has sent long range French made Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles to Ukraine. However the number of these missiles is less than 2,000. NATO was not, and is not ready for world war… which is what we have… and why we have it. War production, the Defense Industrial Base, needs to grow enormously to satisfy Ukraine’s needs

The “combined arm approach” means nothing with that capability the Russians have to make enormous, extremely dense minefields in a few minutes, seeded by rockets.

The First World War lasted as long as it did because Germany was able to obtain, from “neutral” countries (US, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden) the crucial materials it needed. When the US entered the war, the blockade became effective and German explosive production collapsed to a tenth of the french production.

We have a similar situation now. Russia rains missiles on Ukraine, and those missiles are full of Western electronics. That needs to stop, the blockade must be made effective

The “Kaiserreich”, the military dictatorship cum plutocracy run by Kaiser Wilhem II was a fascist regime which knew itself to be condemned long term by socialism, democracy and obsolescence from more open, smarter societies. Its top leaders determined those facts to be true, and decided that a world war was the way out, defeating in quick succession the French Republic, then democratizing and modernizing Russia, before Britain, which did not have an army, could react. Then Britain was supposed to negotiate. This was decided in December 1912. US meddling on June 1 1914, promising a world government with Britain, and the Sarajevo assassination, removing a partisan of peace, the dour Archduke, heir to Austria Hungary but also best friend of the Kaiser, cleared the way.

The Kaiser’s dream of world supremacy crashed down as France counterattacked and nearly destroyed the entire German army at the First Battle of the Marne, 5 weeks after the treacherous attack by a regime of war criminals. A stalemate resulted, until the blockade became effective.

There are lots of analogies between Putin’s Reich and the Kaiserreich. Putin, thought is more of a direct killer… and Putin’s plans and motivations are public. Putin also wants the world to know he will kill whoever is in the way: thus the killing of the boss of the Wagner Group, Prigozhyn was made in full daylight, with a nice video of his crashing plane.

Wagner boss Prigozhyn’s plane shot down north-west of Moscow, August 23, 2023.

Truth telling by Prigozhyn:

The invasion was nothing more than a massive land grab by the Russian oligarchy, Prigozhin charged, designed to enrich the country’s powerful elites while poor Russians served as cannon fodder. Russian claims that a Nazi regime in Ukraine, backed by NATO, was about to attack Russia were lies, Prigozhin said. The war was started by the Russian oligarchy to benefit themselves and gain power. In his rant, Prigozhin did not criticize Russian President Vladimir Putin by name, focusing instead on the broader Russian elite, and specifically on his personal enemy Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

“The Ministry of Defense is trying to deceive the public and the president and spin the story that there were insane levels of aggression from the Ukrainian side and that they were going to attack us together with the whole NATO bloc,” Prigozhin said on his Telegram channel on June 23. The truth, he said, was that “there was nothing extraordinary happening on the eve of February 24,” the day last year when Russian invaded. Ukraine was not planning any kind of attack against Russia, he added.

Russia’s invasion “was started for a completely different reason,” Prigozhyn said. “What was the war for? The war was needed for Shoigu to receive a hero star. … The oligarchic clan that rules Russia needed the war,” he said. “The mentally ill scumbags decided: ‘It’s OK, we’ll throw in a few thousand more Russian men as cannon fodder. They’ll die under artillery fire, but we’ll get what we want.’” What they wanted was Ukrainian land the plutocrats around Putin could real-estate speculate with… Prigozhyn explained.

“Shoigu killed thousands of the most combat-ready Russian soldiers in the first days of the war,” Prigozhin said, adding that the invasion began even as Zelenskyy and Ukraine were eager for peace. The Ukrainian leader was ready for agreements. All that needed to be done was to get off Mount Olympus and negotiate with him. [Zelinskyi was the pro-Russian presidential candidate, ready to make concessions to Putin. He was elected on that peace plan over his more combative predecessor Perevshenko!]

Prigozhin thus destroyed the main argument used by Russian propagandists and their Western lackeys: that NATO’s eastward expansion since the end of the Cold War caused the war in Ukraine. Putin has constantly railed against NATO, and his misleading narrative that the U.S. caused the war in Ukraine by pushing for alliance’s expansion has resonated widely among pro-Putin fascist lovers in the West.

It will be a slow grind, like the world wars of the Twentieth Century. An old Kremlin mentality, that tyranny is best for Mother Russia, is trying to expand against a more democratically inclined world. The forces in presence are unbalanced in many ways: the leader of Russia is probably even more unbalanced, more pathologically evil, and in a very similar way, than Adolf Hitler himself (after all Hitler never threatened to kill all of humanity, just a long list with the French, the Jews, etc.)… but then Putin masters the imbalance of nukes… Yet can only be unbalanced as his greatest ally, China, wants to recover much of what the Kremlin owns or controls…

With such a set of ambushes and imbalances all over, the West has to be careful and steady… But re-armament must be a priority (it’s not yet).

Starting with rearmament of moods… In the past, the Netherlands and Denmark, served, crucially, the fascist invading Kaiserreich, and Hitler’s Reich… Now they are going to send F16s to Ukraine… Not very many, but the right mood, the democratic mood, is now animating them. Progress.

Recolonize Africa The Only Solution?

August 14, 2023

Recolonize Africa The Only Solution?

Africa’s population is increasing fast. It’s now 1.5 billion in what is essentially a hostile land (from desert or ferocious jungle). The solution of course is war, and wars all over blossom. Just contemplate Ethiopia-Eritrea: so many deaths there, so many wild beasts eating the corpses, so much administrative mayhem, one has not even an idea of how many people were, and are killed. So great is the chaos that the Nobel Prize winning leader is now accused to be an active war criminal (a bit as in Myanmar, but way worse).

I grew up in Senegal, I saw the situation decay. Decolonization was an illusion. If anything many colonized countries went from colonial administration protectorates to plutocratic exploitation. This is not my choice of words: countries such as Senegal have switched from the abusive concept of colonization which didn’t really happen, as there were not too many “colons” to the concept of “protectorate”: throughout West Africa, “colonizer” France was paying for one hospital with free service every one hundred kilometer. After France was removed, so were the hospitals. Deprived of contraceptive services, Niger went from a population of 3.4 million in 1960 to more than 28 million now in what is essentially a desert.

When Africa was integrated in the “colonial “ systems, there was free trade of goods and people. The French constitution of 1945 was partly written by African MPs (say Leopold Sedar Senghor). Many Africans were de facto citizens of Europe. Investment flows were directed to Africa. Now many European powers feel it is wiser to direct investments towards Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Turkey. Up to recent times, even Russia and China profited from Euro-US investments. But it is dawning on everybody that maybe it’s wiser to invest only in democracies.

Direct administration, as in old times, is the only solution. A few decades ago, my own father, an African born geologist, who had personally discovered Algerian oil and gas, no less, was put in charge by the United Nations to oversee international fossil fuel searches in several African countries (Cameroon, Kenya…), to lessen corruption….

If superior Euro-American minds do not feel that recolonizing Africa with the idea of justice is a solution, Putin’s Wagner Group and Xi will happily oblige. Inferior Euro-American mind will be happy with “colonizing” Ukraine…

Faster Than Light Is (Part Of) The Architecture Of The Universe

August 6, 2023

Parrots all over squawk, and utter the same screeching: faster than light violates causality. This is an hilarious ode to the herd instinct, as we have overwhelming evidence that faster than light is the architecture of the UNIverse. Here is a dialogue with CHAT GPT exhibiting the closed mindedness rampant in much of today’s theoretical physics (although I think it’s going to change fast).

***

Tyranosopher replying to a bogus (TRADITIONAL) argument of Chat GPT that FTL violated causality: If an instantaneous signal reaches a star telling it to emit light how does that violate causality?

ChatGPT: Apologies for the confusion. You are correct; the example I provided does not precisely represent a causality violation. Let’s clarify the situation:

In the scenario where an instantaneous signal reaches a star, instructing it to emit light, it might not necessarily violate causality. This is because we are assuming the existence of an instantaneous signal, which is already beyond the scope of our current understanding of physics.

However, the situation still raises some issues related to causality and the order of events:

  • Causality and Relativity: According to the theory of special relativity, there is no such thing as an absolute simultaneity of events. Different observers in relative motion will disagree on the timing of events. So, what might be considered instantaneous in one frame of reference could appear delayed in another. This can lead to paradoxical situations where the cause and effect relationship between events becomes ambiguous.
  • Cause and Effect Reversal: In the scenario you described, the signal reaching the star could be considered the cause, and the star emitting light could be considered the effect. However, if there is no unique, absolute notion of simultaneity, different observers could disagree on whether the signal arrived before or after the star emitted light, leading to a confusion of cause and effect.
  • Potential Paradoxes: If information or signals could travel faster than light, it opens the possibility of constructing devices or systems that send information backward in time. This could lead to potential paradoxes, like the grandfather paradox mentioned earlier, where causality is seemingly violated.

It is important to note that the idea of instantaneous signals or communication at speeds faster than light is purely hypothetical and speculative. Our current understanding of physics, as described by the theory of relativity, does not allow for such phenomena.

In the context of established physics, information cannot be transmitted faster than the speed of light, and causality is preserved as cause and effect relationships are always ordered in time. Any hypothetical scenarios involving faster-than-light communication or travel would require significant revisions to our current understanding of the laws of physics. Until such phenomena are supported by robust scientific evidence and theoretical frameworks, they remain speculative and inconsistent with our present understanding of the universe.

***

Tyranosopher recapitulates: that simultaneity is relative was thoroughly established by Poincaré when he established what he named “Relativity”. Events that seem to happen at the same time in the fixed frame will not appear to be simultaneous as seen in the moving frame (when the axis of the events is not perpendicular to that of the motion of the moving frame). So actually if A and B happen simultaneously in fixed frame F, there are moving frames where A precedes B and others where B precedes A

And actually the space of these moving frames is everywhere dense (technical math term), and their complement has measure ZERO (tech math term): this means that what looks simultaneous in F looks simultaneous in roughly NO other frame!

Thus, establishing causality in Relativity is a tall order: if all frames are equivalent and if causality means something happens before something else, we have a problem, because we can always find plenty of moving frames where that’s not true!

***

In his paper suggesting Faster Than Light (FTL) communication does not happen, Einstein just says effect could apparently precede causeAnd that is exactly what Poincaré had published many years prior. Nothing new there, and nothing to do with true causality. That’s all Einstein says in his famous NO-FTL paper, it seems to me, once one has removed the mathematical fog he installed on that logical landscape. That is of course a very weak argument, as Poincaré  had explained years earlier that this apparent causality switching was a consequence of the locally finite speed of light, as I explained in the preceding paragraph.

***.

Tyranosopher: CHAT GPT says we don’t have a device enabling FTL com. Well, actually, we do have an effect which could lead to a device, certainly on a small scale: Quantum Tunneling.

ChatGPT: You are correct, and I apologize for the oversight in my previous response. Quantum tunneling is indeed a phenomenon in quantum mechanics that allows particles to pass through energy barriers that classical physics would typically consider impenetrable. It is an important effect in the microscopic world and has been observed in various experiments.

In quantum tunneling, particles such as electrons can “tunnel” through barriers without having enough energy to overcome them classically. This effect has been harnessed in some electronic devices like tunnel diodes and scanning tunneling microscopes, which rely on quantum tunneling to operate.

While quantum tunneling is fascinating and has practical applications, it is essential to clarify its relationship to faster-than-light communication or travel:

  • Quantum Tunneling and FTL Communication: While quantum tunneling can be observed for particles traversing barriers, it does not enable faster-than-light communication or information transfer. Etc…

Tyranosopher: Well I can demonstrate from the most basic formalism of Quantum Mechanics, that Quantum Tunneling is faster than light.

ChatGPT: I apologize for any confusion in my previous responses. Let’s clarify the concept of quantum tunneling and its relationship to the speed of light.

Quantum tunneling is a phenomenon in quantum mechanics where a particle can pass through a potential energy barrier even when its energy is less than the barrier’s height. It occurs because particles in the quantum realm do not behave like classical objects, and they can exhibit wave-like properties, leading to non-intuitive behaviors.

While quantum tunneling allows particles to traverse barriers that would be classically forbidden, it does not violate the principle that nothing can travel faster than light in a vacuum. The confusion might arise from considering tunneling in isolation without considering the broader context of causality and the principles of special relativity.

In quantum tunneling, particles are not traveling through space faster than light. Instead, they are penetrating barriers through a probabilistic process that involves wave-like properties. The actual traversal time of the particle through the barrier cannot be measured independently since it involves uncertainties and complex quantum mechanical calculations.

However, it is essential to understand that the concept of faster-than-light communication or travel in the sense of classical objects or information propagation still remains unattainable based on our current understanding of physics and the principles of causality and special relativity. While quantum mechanics brings fascinating and counterintuitive phenomena, it does not enable practical faster-than-light communication or travel as commonly envisioned in science fiction.

***

So basically CHAT GPT keeps on repeating FTL doesn’t happen because Einstein said so. Physics has turned into a religion where the sacred words of the great priest Einstein at some early point in his career repeat a misinterpretation of Poincaré’s work.

A much older and wiser Einstein himself would find to his dismay that Quantum Mechanics implied FLT… He called it “Spooky Action At a Distance”, and now Einstein’s EPR paper of 1935 (30 years after his initial Relativity reformulation in 1905 of Poincaré’s Relativity) is Einstein’s most quoted work…and the Twentieth Century’s most quoted physics paper… and justly so…

The truth? FTL is the architecture of the universe.

To be explained further.

France Made The US, Biden Betrayed France, And Democracy, With AUKUS

August 3, 2023

The AUKUS treachery replaced state of the art AIR-INDEPENDENT super silent submarines using fuel cells with noisy old all too large US nuclear attack subs. Moreover, the US subs use HEU Highly Enriched Uranium (bomb like)… which is arguably unlawful for Australia to have… And moreover Australia doesn’t have the nuclear military know-how, so AUKUS makes it completely dependent upon the USA. With a would be tech which incites, per its weakness, the Chinese dictatorship to attack.

The motivation for the treachery was purely nasty nationalism: Australians speak English, so we, the US led by Biden owns them, Aussies have no right to make a gigantic sub contract with France. The proof of this is that the US can’t even take care of its own attack subs.

Wall Street Journal: Here’s an ominous illustration of America’s growing security problems: U.S. Navy attack submarines are excellent weapons for devastating America’s enemies, but the fleet doesn’t have enough boats and is in serious disrepair. Republicans in Congress are right to ask President Biden to address this crisis as part of a deal to sell subs to the Aussies. For more details, see appendix below

The super silent air independent diesels were derived from state of the art nuclear attack Suffren class. Suffren uses jet propulsion, which is one thousand times more silent than propeller propulsion. Suffren can operate while its nuclear reactor is basically shut down. In the old propeller driven Virginia class, the nuclear reactor is always circulating coolant and making plenty of noise.

Several powers, not just France, developed air-independent diesel electric subs. These subs stay underwater for at least a month without coming close to the surface. They’re more silent than conventional nuclear subs. This is why France developed the Suffren class, which usually works in silent mode, purely electric.

Biden thought smart to torpedo the French nuclear industry, but actually his 33 nuclear attack subs are very far from state of the art, and China is scrambling to deploy an air independent hybrid diesel electric fleet which could make short work of the large, noisy, old Virginia class (Suffren like technology will be introduced by the US in 2030s, in SSBN).

The two independent nuclear armed democracies with independent Military Industrial Bases are France and the USA. It’s sad and scary that Biden behaved relative to France in a way that weakens the West.

***

The naive Jeffrey Solomon interjected:

Don’t really care a bit about France, but if this Suffren class technology is as good as you indicate (without analyzing potential negatives such as expense, maintenance, etc.) then it would be interesting to learn why is isn’t being integrated into the U.S. Fleet.

***

Tyranosopher:

This is all about the perfidious AUKUS!

Well, as the United States would not have come into being without the huge help of France ($6 trillion in 2023 $), plus the fact nascent US and French philosophy and politics were entangled in the century and at the time the French and American republics were created (the constitutions came within weeks of each other in1789!), any US citizen should have a reverence to France as the creator country (England is also in a similar situation relative to France).

The Defense Industrial Bases have been an essential part of the military of independent countries since the Bronze Age. During the US war of independence, for many years, more than 90% of the ammunition of the US army was made in France, and shipped across the Atlantic, fighting the Royal Navy. Without the French DIB, there would not even have been a US war of independence.

The West now counts only two independent DIBs: that of the US and that of France. The UK, also a nuclear power, uses a majority of French and US equipment for its crucial systems, so is not DIB independent.

It is in the crucial survival interest of the West to maintain at least two DIBs. The AUKUS pact was a sordid affair, the sort of behavior many have suspected Trump was capable of… But it was Biden who did it.

The US DIB wants all the money it can possibly imagine. Competitive French systems with French electronics are a greater threat than Putin (who is actually a friend of the US Military Industrial Complex, the DIB). A DIB can also create bounds that last: the F35 is a poor interceptor, but all countries which buy it engage into a Faustian bargain with the US Deep State. Biden tried the same with AUKUS… Except that the F35 is state of the art in some ways, whereas the Virginia class is obsolete.

Most Americans in good standing repeat like deranged parrots that US tech is vastly superior to all and any. In particular, French. However the Barracuda class has pump jets, which are a thousand times more silent than propellers. The US will have pump tech in the 1930s for the future Columbia SSBN class. Also Suffren above, a nuclear sub, can go completely electric… which is more silent than nuclear. Now the important point is that AIP, Air Independent Propulsion, can just use fuel cells and electric… And that’s extremely silent! Several countries, not just France, are developping that tech, and this includes India (from a French tech transfer)… But also of course China!

This is the slight problem that has not been considered in the case of a possible invasion of Taiwan: Chinese AIP subs may be capable of imposing maritime dominance. Australia, by opting to buy immensely expensive, obsolete, gigantic nuclear subs from the US… which builds only one of this subs each year, not satisfying its own needs by a long shot… Australia is inciting China’s Xi to attack… And maybe that’s the idea all along… If not an explicit idea, maybe an implicit one…
