Abstract: Some exchanges with ChatGPT, the woke AI.”Woke” is essentially a way to put minds to sleep. ChatGPT repeating itself enormously, most of its repetitive, diluted answers have been canceled. I kept some of the good stuff. A striking fact is that ChatGPT, firmly determined to say nice stuff, except about official bad guys, ends up contradicting itself logically. It can say A and quickly follow this A by NON A…

This world needs peace… But the right sort of peace, real peace doesn’t live upon appeasement alone…

In December 2023 it was revealed that Chat GPT will tell “Jewish jokes”, if asked to do so… But not Muslim jokes… That was corrected later, after an Internet scandal, but it picked my interest.

Hitler also suggested calling such people “Jews”. There was also a plan, and an order, to kill all Communist Commissars.

There certainly was a Nazi practice of exterminating Jews, and there was a plan to invade and starve Poles. Are you thinking of the Wannsee conference held in January 1942? Do you call that two hour meeting a “plan”?

PA: If there is not enough food, there is death. By destroying Polish food production systematically, the Nazis intended to kill all Poles. There was an extermination implementation regarding Jews… without really a “plan”. For example, Hitler had a plan to turn Moscow into a lake. That was a real plan. But the worst part in the attempted extermination of the Jews is that there was no explicit “plan”. It’s a case of Deep State subconscious. The Wannsee conference was mostly to stop legal interference in the extermination of Jews by parts of the Nazi government itself applying Nazi laws!

Heydrich tried to make clear in an hour-long speech that no legal niceties should get in the way of whatever was done with the Jews. After that hour-long monologue, everybody mingled, drinking and eating delicacies. A nervous Heydrich was relieved that the meeting went so well (said Eichmann, who was the secretary). Still, it was not too clear what the “Final Solution” consisted of. Meanwhile, the German population was told that their Jewish friends or neighbors had been moved to the east, “for their own safety“, as the Jews were guilty in the launch of WW2 (although the war had been declared by France and Britain, those countries were viewed as Jewish dominated).

Similarly no German soldier who refused to violate the official laws of war was ever prosecuted. Around 170 such cases are known.

Using Heydrich’s own numbers (we have a copy), Goebbels deplored that there were still 11 (eleven) million Jews in Europe,  and declared it was urgent to deport them to the East, and, after the war, on an island such as Madagascar… the 7 March, 1942, in Goebbels’ own journal… So when discussing the so-called “Holocaust”, it’s crucial to understand that it didn’t happen as is commonly believed. Sometimes the Einsatzgruppen in charge of exterminating Jews, and made mostly of very educated individuals, entered eastern municipalities where the Jews had already been massacred… by helpful natives!  This is very important as it enlightens part of the problems we encounter today (we humane humans).

Other numbers show that, out of 12 million Poles capable of resistance, seven (7) million died violently from Nazi action. While half the European Jews died. The latter is called a whole-burning (Holo-Caust)… Although people who died violently in WW2 and were Jewish constituted around 6% of the total number of victims of WW2, only them got the whole-burning label. Is the pain of Jews somehow greater than the pain of the more than 70 million civilians or so who also died violently in WW2 so that it must be singled out?

The most remarkable thing is that nobody asked for the genocide of the Jews in the 1930s, or for a world war with 5% of the world killed. All this horror, death and destruction sneaked in.

In the present world we have a dictator claiming that a major country which has existed for 12 centuries since it was founded by Vikings… and which founded the dictator’s own country, does not exist and should be destroyed (Putin is as logical as ChatGPT). And we have an organization, Hamas, which, in its charter (article 7) claims that it must kill all Jews… So that the merciful Allah can realize his genocidal plan…

So what we have now, alive, well, and extremely strident, are outrageous claims of a sort the 1930s didn’t see…  Even more troubling, Putin and Hamas have many devoted followers in the West… ChatGPT doesn’t want to say Hamas is a bunch of assassins, although they put it black on white, for decades…

OK, not as bad as it looks, six millions were lost from being gobbled up by the USSR… However being deprived of one’s territory is an aspect of genocide (that happened to the Jews in 136 CE or the Cherokees in the 1800s…).

The Deep State is both the error and the hope of the biosphere. Its exploits are a matter of life and death, past and present.

The US Deep State is the establishment, a mix of public-private, politico-financial, universities, think tanks, corporations, entangled with institutions such as the Army, Navy, Marines, and traditions such as killing all the Indians through devious, patient means… The US Deep State has been the world’s greatest power for well over a century, since it seized control of the Americas, defeated the Spanish Empire, and blossomed with robbers barons, such as Carnegie, Rockefellers, Harrimans, JP Morgan, Ford, and they imprinted the mood of dominance by plutocrats who called themselves “lovers of man” (philanthropists). This robust, secretive, conspirational imperial organization founded and funded the modern entangled US ideological, military, economic, political, academic and financial systems.

The US Deep State organized the Twentieth Century world.. And beyond. The Nazis were inspired by the genocide of American Indians, and duplicated US methods all the way into 1945 (March of Tears, etc.). White Americans “gunned down millions of redskins” noted with approval Hitler in 1928. “Concentration camps were not invented in Germany,” Hitler said in 1941. “It is the English who are their inventors, using this institution to gradually break the backs of other nations.” The British had operated camps in South Africa, the Nazis pointed out… While the Nazis carefully omitted that the Kaiserreich conducted a genocide in Namibia… Much worse than what the British did to the Boers… Although the US Deep State committed genocide against the Natives, the methods, after paying for scalps in the Seventeenth Century, became patient and subtle.   

US ways were a mind fest for the Nazis. Early on, the Nazi regime celebrated Harvard University by sending the cruiser Karlsruhe to Boston in 1934. No less. The crew was received by the University, the captain made an extreme Hitlerian speech, the Harvard Crimson asked for top Nazis to get honorary degrees… (Karlsruhe was sunk off Norway by a British sub in April 1940… while the US was in full peace and business mode with Hitler)

All this was not just because the Nazis adopted Harvard’s song, or influential Nazis were tied to Harvard. The communion of thinking went deeper than that. Nazi minister and influential Hitler adviser Hanfstangl was asked by a rabbi what he meant when he recently remarked that “everything would soon be settled for the Jews in Germany.” The Harvard graduate replied that he was here on vacation, meeting with old friends. Jews couldn’t be citizens in early, pre-US America. Laws prevented non-Christians (or even Catholics!) from holding public office and voting. The U.S. Bill of Rights in 1791 removed barriers but some US states rescinded barriers against Jews rather late: Rhode Island (1842), North Carolina (1868), and New Hampshire (1877)…

In 1933, Columbia University president Butler had invited Nazi Germany’s ambassador to the United States, Hans Luther, to speak on campus, and hosted a reception for him. Luther represented “the government of a friendly people… entitled to be received … with the greatest courtesy and respect.” Butler insisted.

That Hitler had invaded Europe and engage in genocide against Poles and then Jews, had let the US Deep State indifferent. It no doubt helped that the Nazis hated black people… and forced the sterilization of thousands of children from the union of German women with French soldiers of African descent.

In the 1930s, the top German generals and admirals asked the UK and US to support them in a coup against Hitler. Instead the US and UK warned Hitler. The treacherous attitude of the US Deep State, long collaborating with the Nazis in diverse guises, is a question waiting for an official answer. “Isolationism” is not the answer, it’s an hypocrisy…. as the US plutocratic class massively invested in Nazi Germany and Italian and Spanish fascism, and kept the Japanese Imperial army fueled as it invaded Asia… for a full decade!

After freeing the south of France and its ports, in 1944, the French army, crossing the Rhine under fire, invaded Germany with one million soldiers in 1945. The Allied invasion of The Third Reich from the west would have been much harder, without the French army.

In 1945, France had been at war with the Nazis for nearly six years, and the Nazis lost the war launched by France… and which France finally won, thanks to France’s belated US ally.

The hypocritically deplored “cease-fire” of summer 1940 between France and the Nazis, the Italian fascists, and their Japanese and Soviet allies lasted less than two years. As soon as 1943, (some) French soil was liberated (Corsica).

France won World War Two thanks to, and because of her backstabbing US ally and rogue child. There is no doubt that racism in the USA made the Nazis sentimentally close much of American public opinion. Hitler said as much.

The Nazi tyranny lost the war with the French Republic so deeply that, decades after their demise, under French influence, Germany allowed in its nationality code, the right of the soil: a child born in Germany became a German citizen, as was the case in France (that right was given in the USA only after 1866…) … Switzerland followed Germany a few years ago…

Is further progress of civilization in sight in Europe? 

A simple way would be for Europe to understand why the USA, which, to a great extent, arose from the French and British mentality, refused to help France and Britain in a TIMELY manner in the Twentieth Century. And did this twice: in 1914-1917, and then 1933-1942. 

Europe has to understand that Nazism was greatly facilitated by the US Deep State. Trump wants, he says, to destroy the US Deep State, and is no doubt popular because many US voters want to destroy the US Deep State. Instead of just raging against Trump, the Europeans would be well advised to meditate on how the US Deep State was allied de facto, with the fascist regimes as World War two gathered pace. For example the US universities, which are much esteemed and influential, developed the ideology to ally the US Deep State with the fascists, including Stalin, Mao and Ho Chi Minh. Are they doing something similar now? 

To this day, the Europeans believe FDR’s voluble and misleading mouth… instead of looking at what FDR really did: a de facto economic, plutocratic and diplomatic alliance with the fascists all the way until 1941. Even the French junta called Vichy was beloved and supported by FDR. 

Understanding what truly happened, and that Hitler and Stalin were weaponized by the US Deep State may suggest that  instead of depending upon the gifts of the US Deep State, in an addictive manner, Europe would be better off freeing itself from this addiction.

In the 1930s, the US Deep State wanted the world, and the best way to do that was to instrumentalize the fascist regimes against Western European “democracies”. And so it was done, all the way to Yalta, in Crimea, when a dying FDR gave half of Europe in trust to his ally Stalin…

This was the truth, this was life and this was therefore the way… Who said that, somewhat paraphrased in a semantic salad mix? Jesus! (In John…), the same Jesus the US loved to quote so much throughout the Twentieth Century…

Watson chairman and CEO of IBM, sitting with Hitler for breakfast, in 1937, apparently somberly planning how to exterminate all Jews, before receiving a top medal for “service to the Reich:”. IBM was a crucial part of the Nazi system, but other US corporations also played a crucial role. Standard Oil (Exxon) transferred secretly the most efficient technology to make oil from coal… That enabled Germany to keep on fighting its ex allies, the USA and the USSR… which had provided its oil for various invasions of most of Western Europe, including Spain and France…

It is well known that the USA organized the world during, and after World War Two. It is not known, and rejected with horror that, at the very least, the USA was the worldwide catalyst of World War Two… And this work started in 1914, showing how the spirit of the Monroe doctrine of the early Nineteenth Century (“The America are ours”) was generalized to “the world is ours”….

However, there is nothing wrong with world government… As long as it is not a world plutocracy.

But what we have is a world plutocracy. That is not an optimal future: this is what science fiction nightmares are made from! Plutocracy is wrong, not just from its intrinsic inequity and inequality. It is not just a question of being led by just a few thousands, and their selfish stupidity. It is a question that, to rule in a way adverse to the deepest nature of humanity, one must rule with evil means… And that’s why it’s called pluto-cracy, pluto-kratia, evil rule…

Why The Universe Should Not Be Viewed As Indifferent

Absurdus… In Latin out of tune, discordant…. Claiming the universe, all there is, is absurd should be seen as absurd… Why is Camus wrong about the indifference of the universe? It’s simple: we are part of the universe, we are not indifferent, so the universe is not indifferent. 

This argument was sensed by Camus, apparently, so he tried to deny it with a counterexample that he made up. Demonstrating indifference is exactly why Camus created his anti-hero, “The Stranger” a “human” who is not really human, being (mostly) indifferent to roughly anything, and, in particular, the most basic morality and human decency. 

To celebrate this “tour de passe passe”, Camus was given the Nobel prize…

Camus’ essay Le Mythe de Sisyphe (The Myth of Sisyphus), also in 1942, expounds Camus’s notion of the absurd and of its acceptance with “the total absence of hope, which has nothing to do with despair, a continual refusal, which must not be confused with renouncement – and a conscious dissatisfaction”…

Now, agreed, The Stranger, life as indifferent, and Sysiphus, life as torture, were written in 1942, when Nazis indifferent to morality and decency were roaming the streets… Absurdism was proclaimed in a time when Nazism had triumphed, and the world was indeed absurd: the most respectable people, by law, were killing children, and if one disagreed with respecting those mass murders, one was killed in turn… (A bit like Putin’s Russia!)

He took great enjoyment in the little things and encouraged us to do so as well. Just because life is meaningless, doesn’t mean it can’t be enjoyable!

In other words, Camus implicitly discovers that life’s information space is curved and twisted, and we can’t see very far… And we should not.

That’s a correct argument, because, as we can’t see far-out, any system of thought pretending to do so is potentially a mass delusion…. And history shows mass delusions are not just absurd, but also bad, as the ultimate justification they can find is mass murder and genocide (in Ukraine, Putin, using the usual argument of humanitarian relief, which the Nazis already used with the Jews, is removing Ukrainians from Ukraine, and replacing them with Russians from far-out, disinherited regions). 

Ironically, by proclaiming the world to be absurd, Camus himself creates a dangerous mass delusion proximal to standard nihilism. 

Claiming the world is absurd is close to Dostoievski’s concept that if God doesn’t exist everything is permitted (itself close from the Putinists’ if our Russia does not exist, nothing should survive). 

Absurdism is a mass delusion, because we have no proof whatsoever, besides Nazis prancing in the streets, that the world is absurd. And Nazis were mostly killed by 1945. And as far as everything being permitted, that’s not correct, either. 4% of the population supposedly is ready to do anything to get rich (according to a French poll), but that leaves 96% of decent folks. Not just that, but the pathological 4%, in wild ancestral circumstances, would probably end up dead… protecting, because of their innate violence and ambition… the remaining 96%… So social goodness out of inhuman pathology…

What truly and authentically should be said, is that we don’t know and can’t know anything beyond human ethology. God is not dead, it’s incarnated by We The People.

Claiming that the universe is indifferent is claiming that humanity doesn’t matter: let’s reject the notion, which is contradictory to all and any human morality [1].

The liberation of Paris didn’t have Allied priority, Eisenhower wanted to avoid the capital and surround it at a great distance. But a massive insurrection of the population, led by the resistance, armed police and the communists against the Nazis on 19 August made a massive intervention necessary. What’s going on is that tyrannies keep pushing, to see how far they can go. A tyranny makes war to its people, inside, and justifies that by claiming it is saving the people from a war, outside… which it self-engineered. As tyrannies get away with some aggressive actions, going further than any before, they feel encouraged, and encourage each other. Thus ever more excited, tyrannies repeat the process. This is what happened in the 1930s, after the invasion of Manchuria by a rogue Japanese army: Mussolonini, Hitler, Stalin, Franco, and their ilk felt encouraged. It was truly the start of World War Two… because the military reaction, the declaration of war of Britain and France, waited until 1939, when the alliances of the tyrants Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Hirohito and Franco had been made official… And because, as late as 1940 and even 1941, the USA was de facto allied with the Axis powers (for example by fuelling the Japanese army invading China). 

 

What’s going on now is that what’s going on is not like what happened in 1936: instead of letting tyrannies fly from success to success, insolence to insolence, testing new weapons, and tactics, expanding territories, democracies have learned something from the 1930s and thus, woken up this time, and are fighting back, in a timely manner.

Elon Musk replied, with some condescendence: @StationCDRKelly: “You’re smart enough not to swallow media & other propaganda bs. Starlink is the communication backbone of Ukraine, especially at the front lines, where almost all other Internet connectivity has been destroyed.

But we will not enable escalation of conflict that may lead to WW3.“

This is a problem with endowing single individuals with so much power. SpaceX is a sort of second foundation of NASA… As I pointed out long ago, it would not exist without the largesse of the US government. SpaceX was actually saved by US government contracts when it was so close to bankruptcy, around 2009, in spite of injection of funds from Tesla, that Musk had only a few hundred thousand of dollars left, and he had to meet payroll, let alone pay for equipment! Landing rockets was researched and done by NASA, starting in the mid-sixties.  

Musk: elite entrepreneur and engineer. He also has apparently diversified to historian of war, and knows what escalates conflict. How does one escalates when one has been attacked by a bear? Should one defend oneself just so, but not too much? However bear only fears personal injury. Passive defense that doesn’t look as if it were going to hurt doesn’t work.

Zelinskyi has compared in 2023 Putin to a dragon who muster devour. But Putin’s behavior is more reminscent of that of an aggressive bear. Musk has probably never fought a bear. Yours truly actually has had several confrontations with bears, caused by wandering unarmed many times where bears are found in abundance. I had to threaten very aggressive bears both brown and black. Hitting a proximal surface with stones was often enough of a deterrent. But I had to hit a charging bear (who had just attacked a dozen high Sierra campers, and was now interested by the food I was carrying) with a (very large) stone, once… Bears fear stones, because they have been hurt by them and they have respect for those who can muster stones… In any case, that bear fled for dear life. But that bear attacked people again, wounded a grandmother, and three weeks later, rangers executed it.

Putin will not stop. Like a serial killer, one who has killed now more than 200,000 people, for all to see, his only hope to survive, or to justify himself, is to keep on going, as Hitler once did. So he has to be stopped. World War Two would have been aborted if, even as late as 1940, the USA had stood with France and Britain. 

So this time is different. But this time the stakes are also higher…

So it is good that the US is not playing games, this time.

As in the 1930s, though, tyrannies have their agents. In the 1930s, many intellectuals were following either Hitler or his ally Stalin. This had disastrous consequences on the war readiness of France (new planes were not equipped with guns, from fear that workers, aligned with Stalin, thus Hitler, would seize them and make a revolution… As a consequence Nazi Germany was able to acquire air superiority over France where it needed it!) 

Putin knows all of this, and that makes him hope that he will be able to change public opinion. After all, he has just three democracies’ public opinion to work on….

Could The Nazis Have Won World War Two? (French version)

[Independent yet in English and related: When Did Nazi Commanders Realize The War Was Lost? September 3, 1939! Aside from the intrinsic historical interest, especially to those wise enough to realize that war creates history, and not just with the sword, there is a very important aspect to why Nazi Germany went to war: thanks to their hubris, and related general lack of intelligence, the Nazis miscalculated. Afterwards some of them tried to hide this error of their ways, by, basically, claiming they had just fought the war to lose it. This sort of sadomasochistic hubristic delirium is relevant today, as China’s Xi gives many of the hubristic indications Hitler himself gave prior to going completely crazy… When Xi, 67 years old, claims that reunification with Taiwan can’t wait another generation… In complete contrast to, say, Deng Xiaoping… who modestly said that disputes that only war could solve are “better left to wiser generations“. Just as Hitler, Xi underestimates the West…]

La première difficulté avec la notion de victoire de l’Allemagne Nazie, c’est qu’elle est commandée par une poignée de chacals qui se disputent la viande (cf Roehm, Hess, etc.). Néanmoins, quand la France et le Royaume Uni déclarent la guerre, les chefs Nazis sont suffisamment intelligents pour savoir qu’ils viennent de la perdre! Sans flotte, sans pétrole, sans matières premières nécessaires, avec beaucoup moins de chars, et d’alliés, que leurs adversaires, des empires géants dont l’enfant s’appelle l’Amérique…. Mais, par une suite d’événements miraculeux, une chance incroyable due en partie à des erreurs inconcevables du haut commandement français, les Nazis se retrouvent en face de Dunkerque, face à la première armée française qui les bloque pendant l’évacuation de 338,226 soldats d’élite. Au total 404,000 soldats britanniques sont évacués de divers ports français soumis aux attaques nazies .

Hitler avait donné l’ordre d’annihilation des forces alliées (directive 13). Les Nazis répandent alors la rumeur que c’est tout la faute de Goering que les soldats professionnels Anglais se sont échappés: les chacals Nazis commencent à se mordre entre eux.  Le 26 Février 1945, Hitler prétendit que Dunkerque fut un “geste sportif” pour inciter Churchill à la paix… En fait, les soldats allemands sont épuisés, il y des jours qu’ils ne dorment plus, grâce aux amphétamines dont ils sont bourrés (petit détail pas prévu par le commandement français). Leurs machines sont cassées.

Et les Français se battent bien, “comme des lions” (dixit Maréchal nazi Walter Von Reichenau) et la moitié de la Luftwaffe a été détruite. 2,668 aviateurs nazis sont morts au combat, la plupart des vétérans de la guerre d’Espagne, au combat depuis 4 ans et irremplaçables. 2,662 aviateurs nazis meurent ensuite pendant la bataille d’Angleterre.

En Mai-Juin 1940, plus de 1,000 chars allemands sont mis hors de combat (sur 2,600; la France perd 1,749 chars sur 4,071 engagés au combat). Les pertes totales de l’Axe sont 160,000 hommes. 

Lors des semaines suivantes, la Luftwaffe est réparée, puis à nouveau détruite dans le ciel anglais. Cette fois-ci les pilotes prisonniers ne sont pas récupérés… Ils ne seront jamais remplacés, et les Nazis n’ont pas assez de carburant pour bien entraîner leurs pilotes.

A partir de septembre, comme la Royal Navy est invincible, Hitler pense qu’il doit attaquer l’URSS, parce que, s’ il était Staline, il attaquerait … Ce n’est pas seulement que Hitler est un idiot (souvenons-nous)… C’est une réaction hubristique typique: à situation désespérée, solution désespérée… D’autant plus qu’Hitler n’a pas assez de pétrole: il avait attaqué la Pologne en partie pour le pétrole, mais Staline s’en est emparé….

Donc Hitler attaque. Il vient de perdre presque toute sa force aéroportée en Crète. Et six semaines de printemps sec (il va s’embourber en automne). En plus Hitler attaque avec quelques milliers de tanks. Les Allemands ne savent pas que l’URSS a 35,000 tanks (c’est Hitler lui-même qui l’a dit, rajoutant que c’était simplement inconcevable). Y compris le “meilleur char du monde”, dixit général von Kleist, le T34, dont l’URSS produira 55,000… Plus exactement, le jour du déclenchement de Unternehmen Barbarossa, les Nazis n’ont que 444 chars Panzer IV, leurs chars lourds modernes. Les Soviétiques ont 1868 chars T34 et chars lourds KV, qui surclassent les meilleurs chars Nazis.

Tout ce bel effort hubristique s’embourbe quand la pluie s’amène, puis la lutte sauvage des Übermenschen s’est finalement gelée complètement quand le gel le plus sévère depuis longtemps a frappé, immobilisant les équipements allemands, y compris toute l’aviation nazie, avant de recevoir en pleine figure les 220,000 soldats d’élite de l’armée de Sibérie, skiant tranquilles, habitués comme ils sont, à des froids bien pires.

Dans sa rage hurlante, hubristique jusqu’au bout, acculé comme un rat roti, Hitler déclare la guerre aux USA (qui alimentent déjà le RU et l’URSS, histoire de jeter de l’huile sur le feu). Il avait perdu depuis longtemps. Quand Molotov, ministre des affaires étrangères de Staline, visite Berlin le 12 Novembre 1940, on lui dit que l’Angleterre est vaincue. Ensuite les sirènes hurlent, et Molotov est évacué dans un abri souterrain. Pendant que retentissaient les explosions des bombes, Molotov remarqua caustiquement qu’ils ne paraissaient pas si vaincu que cela.

Warning: War Can Be Very Surprising. The Case of the Battle Of France, May-June 1940

This is my answer to the following question: “Why didn’t Britain and France throw their full force at the western German pincer instead of evacuating at Dunkirk?”

At first sight, on paper, the French army had plenty enough power to cut the Von Manstein/Guderian “Sickle Cut” (an expression invented later by Churchill, apparently), just after it happened. It was tried and nearly worked (from the north, and from the south).

However, the nine French armored division north of the Sickle Cut couldn’t move (their supply lines were cut, inter alia). Actually they couldn’t move enough: they attempted to move from the north, but a British failure prevented them to go all the way. Immediately north of the Cut the formidable Third Heavy Armored French division had its fuel cut off.

One of the reasons the Nazis succeeded to pierce at Sedan is that only one, just one, French Reserve infantry B division faced four elite Nazi formations, including three Panzer Divisions and the superlative Gross Deutschland regiment. Plus the entire Luftwaffe. Weirdly (Guderian marvelled), long range guns from the Maginot line south didn’t engage. Worse: the Second Armored British division was supposed to be there, behind the French B division, but was not. Overall strategy assumed it was there… but it was not. Had it been there, with its superior Mathilda tanks, the Sickle Cut would not have happened.

The other reason, of course was surprise, Pearl Harbor style. A high German officer with the earlier German attack plan was in a plane that landed in Belgium (which was secret and implicit ally to France and Britain, but not officially so). He tried to burn the plan. The captured documents confirmed the correctness of the French strategy. However, the Nazi High Command, supposing (correctly) that the plans had been captured, was then forced into preparing a completely different plan, which was highly unlikely.

The Belgians had evacuated the Ardennes to the point they barely opposed any resistance, so little resistance that the extent of the enormous size of the Nazi attack through the Ardennes went undetected for several days. The French had assumed the Belgians could and would, have told them, had an enormous thrust happen through the Ardennes. The Belgians didn’t. “Neutral” small powers such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland, were crucially helpful to the Nazis in various ways: the Belgian and Luxembourgian incapacity to detect two-third of the German army passing through their territory or their unwillingness to warn the French High Command of the presence of millions of Germans, and dozens of thousands of vehicles in southern Belgium, was a necessary condition for the Nazi victory of May-June 1940.

At Sedan in 1940, ONE French B Reserve Division got attacked by the Second, First and Tenth Panzer (left to right), plus other elite formations and the entire Luftwaffe… An enormous, nearly unbelievable concentration of force. The Nazis were fighting with the energy of despair, because they felt that, barring a miracle, they had already lost the war. In contrast, the French and British fought with the over-confidence of those who are sure to win: they didn’t bother looking fot the worst possible case.

When Commander in Chief Maurice Gamelin decided to send general Henri Girauld’s mobile reserve of seven armored divisions (7th army) to the Netherlands, north of Nazi general Bock’s army groups pushing through Belgium (!), Gamelin’s adjoint, and second in command of the French army, general Alphonse Georges, vigorously protested as he pointed out to Gamelin that this exposed the entire French defense system to exactly what happened: a Sickle Cut out of Sedan. Maybe Gamelin thought there would be time to react, he was not just an arrogant idiot full of himself. Nobody thought an entire army, let alone a motorized one, could sneak through the Ardennes. As the entire Nazi army went undetected (except by one Spitfire pilot, who was not believed), for many days, the surprise was total, and it was not all Gamelin’s fault.

Next, the Nazis, full of amphetamines, didn’t sleep for ten days or so. surprising Gamelin with what he called “torrents of tanks, which had to be stopped”.

At some point heavy French tanks, in the night, arrived well within shooting distance of the top Nazi generals (including Guderian, who was heading the entire armored thrust, on the battlefield)… but they didn’t detect them.

Had the French kept the mobile reserve in reserve, by the Maginot line, the “Sickle Cut would have turned into a crushing defeat for the Nazis and probably a coup against Hitler…

But just one man, general Gamelin, took all the foolhardy decisions… And one man can be very wrong. As soon as Nazi engineers made successful kamikaze charges, exploding themselves against French fortifications at Sedan, the Battle of France was lost, because of the disposition of the French (and British) armored formations.

The ceasefire occurred at the end of June because France had little taste for waging war further against Japan, Germany, Italy, the USSR and, implicitly, the USA. (The gigantic losses of World War One, when France fought Germany basically alone for a year, were fresh in memory).

Roosevelt was first to recognize the Vichy Coup and sent his right hand man, four star admiral Leahy as ambassador. In Roosevelt’s view, dismantling the French empire and making (say) New Caledonia into a new Hawai’i, was Hitler’s main function… The rest was details. 

Conscious that the White House and the US Deep State had instrumentalized Hitler,to wrestle their empires from the Europeans, the US press stayed mum about the Holocaust of Poles and Jews which the Nazis had started, in 1939… for all to see. Shocking truth, but truth nevertheless. A (still) uncomprehending New York Times (they should read me more!) now bemoans that fact: that they knew, and didn’t tell.

If it had been told to the American people that an holocaust was ongoing, and the president was willing (he was not, as he only obsessed about new Caledonia), the US would have engaged in the war early in 1940, and the war would have turned against the Nazis right away… Also France would have kept fighting. France ceased fire at the end of June 1940, mostly because the US refused to open fire… France refused to play the little US game leveraging Hitler, any longer, now that it was so clear. (That decision may have been subconscious, but it’s what happened, because, in retrospect, it was the most obvious reason on which to act…) 

Had France persisted to fight into July 1940, it could have held North Africa indefinitely… As it turned out, French Africa was back in the war, two years later. The French victory at Bir Hakeim, a modern Thermopylae on a grander scale May-June 1942) , crucially saved the British Eighth Army from annihilation, said Churchill, and evidence shows. Had the Eighth been annihilated, all the Jews in Israel, and all the oil in Iraq, would have been in Nazi hands…

A Nazi victory in 1940 was extremely unlikely, hence the overconfidence of the French and British High Command, and thus, paradoxically, their inattention to detail, or low probability, but extremely dangerous events… And overlooked the despair of the Nazi High Command, which led it to desperate, risky innovation. Thus the fact it was so unlikely for all to see, made it more probable, in the end.

The Sickle Cut through the Ardennes should have failed… And would have, had the British Second Armor Division been there, or the French Reserve been in reserve, or had simply the 200 kilometers of jammed Nazi troops and armor on three little roads been detected.

The one advantage the Nazis had on the French and British is that they had waged war for more than three years in Spain. So crucial little details worked perfectly on the Nazi side in 1940, like radios in tanks and ground to planes communications. Although the French and British and the Foreign Legion had just beaten elite Nazi units in Norway, that was not involving armored thrusts… The French and British learned, in a week, but by then the battle of France was lost. It was the most crucial battle of WW2, as it made the Nazi occupation of Europe possible: roughly 200,000 killed, including 50,000 elite Nazis, never to be seen again, 4,000 planes destroyed, half of them Nazis (and sorely missed during the air Battle of Britain, a few weeks later…[1]

In a drawn out war, the Franco-British naval blockade would have made Nazi Germany even more dependent upon Stalin than it already was…

Fighting a war is rolling the dice. The most unlikely events can occur. They did, in May 1940, when God was Nazi… And Roosevelt smiling. The USA just had to bark in 1940, to stop the Nazi charade, but didn’t. While the Canadians courageously landed in Brittany to stop the Nazi tide, the US, propagandized, dominated and perfused by base plutocrats, refused to help France, its parent…

The defeat of France in 1940 was nearly as surprising as if Russia and China pulled off a successful surprise attack on the USA, right now. Yes, French hubris played a role, as did Nazi despair. One may want to keep this in mind…

Not to repeat history the same way, one should learn it, right. But be careful what you learn. The most significant history is not the history of art, or pretty princesses. The most significant history is that of military history, and holocausts. It’s surprising how much it repeats itself helped by astounding twists and turns in what initially looked like details.

Luftwaffe casualties amounted to 6,653 men, including 4,417 aircrew (1,129 were killed and 1,930 were reported missing). 85,000 French soldiers died in combat (in 6 weeks; considering the size of the populations concerned, that would be as if 700,000 US soldiers died in combat in 6 weeks, nowadays). 3,000 Senegalese Tirailleurs were murdered after being taken prisoner (as the racial Nazis viewed them as dangerous half apes)… Britain had fewer than 10,000 killed in action (extending the atrocities visited even on some French officers, not just French troops, the Nazis cold blooded assassinated dozens of British prisoners who had surrendered)

 

Think America Campaign, Not Hate America!

Many have a problem differentiating hate from thought. To train those critters, with new criterions, emotional provocation is best. Here is an important concept, related to “fake news”, a new way of propaganda. The LYING QUESTION. This is an example which was sent my way, found on Quora:

The question present as a fact, something that is a lie, because it never happened: the French recognize, ALL TOO MUCH, US help in World War Two (the French should read me more, they would admire the US less, but they don’t understand English as much as they should). Entire avenues in France are named after US president Franklin Roosevelt with what is for me the gratefulness of the ignorant. A real picture of what really happened in WWII leaves one with a completely different mood.  

If the USA wanted to avoid Auschwitz and the destruction of Europe in World War Two. all they had to do was to join the French Republic and declare war to Hitler, September 3, 1939. Instead the greedy, unprincipled, cowardly US leadership waited until Hitler declared war to the USA, December 11, 1941. 4 days after Japan did the same.

Typical Scene in May 1940: Nazi troops, on foot and with horse, pass next to a demolished French Char B1 Bis. Those monster heavy French tanks, couldn’t be defeated by Nazi tanks, they were among the 3,000+ tanks of the French army. They were destroyed from the air. A failure of air supremacy caused the French and British to lose the battle of France in 5 days, starting May 10 1940. That was entirely avoidable, had the Nazi army been detected in a timely manner.

France Won WW2, Yet Lost It On The Internet, Thus Insanity Progresses

The market capitalization of an US company, Apple Inc., reached one trillion dollars today (August 3, 2018). It’s the first company in the world to reach such high valuation. In part, because Apple pays taxes not commensurate with its profits (Ireland, a state, which bemoaned Hitler death, officially, has a lot to do with that). Once I talked to a Silicon Valley executive who told me that Apple, Facebook, Google, etc. should pay no taxes in a country like France, because France was Hitler’s ally. How did we get there? This essay, one of many, wants to throw a light on those devious ways. Far from being innocuous, they are at the psychological-socio-economic root of what made evil such as Nazism possible.

Civilizational Madness Lurks On The Internet:

How we behave is related to how we think, manage our emotions, and so on. Somebody with impulse eating and drinking, has what one should call a deficiency in frontal lobes development… and it can apparently be imaged. It does matter: we don’t want impulsive legislators around the world enabling their impulsive leaders to impulsively extinguish humanity… as. Potentially already happened. It happened because insanity has not been studied as it deserves. Watch “stoic” philosophers admiring Seneca, tutor of Nero, an ultra racist plutocrat. Right, Seneca talked seductively… But so did Hitler. One has to learn to look beyond appearances, and detect the madness.

The Internet enables the most ludicrous minds to broadly advertise their insane logic. Some are thrill seekers, some want not to feel alone anymore, and share the madness, some are Messiahs… And many are paid (as when I state we need a hydrogen economy to go hand in hand with photovoltaics, and get 100 scathing remarks in ten minutes on Twitter).

Insanity itself seduces: after all, it’s different, and perhaps the deepest, specifically more developed  instinct in humans is curiosity. What triggers curiosity is what is unusual. There are many ways to seduce with insanity. One of them is ask insane question, as if one were motivated by curiosity, when in truth the question itself is a lie. Here is an example for sheer lunacy found on Quora:

Could France have defeated Germany in WW 2? How?

The author of the question concluded that France had it all, all it needed to win, including mightiest army, weapons, courageous soldiers… All except the will to fight another war (this is disproven by the fact the French army suffered 9,000 casualties a day during the 46 days after May 9, 1940). My answer to this completely insane, fake news, “leading” question, “Could France have defeated…” (leading into delirium that is):

Another alternate reality question: the French Republic declared war to Germany September 3, 1939. Germany capitulated, without conditions, on May 7 1945 in Reims, France, and again May 8, 1945, in Berlin. Hostilities stopped May 9, 1945.

Thus, France actually defeated Germany in WW2. It is curious that people can be so ignorant, that they don’t know this fact, the grossest outline of history. Some will say:’Oh but France got defeated in a battle’… Well, it was not the first time France lost a battle and went on to win a war.

France and Britain scored a many victories in 1939 and 1940, notably a major win after their second landing in Nazi invaded Norway. That offensive in Norway, had it proceeded as intended after said victory, was to cut Hitler’s crucial ally Sweden in two, cutting Hitler’s iron road, with catastrophic consequences for Hitler.

Indeed, France and Britain suffered a huge defeat during the Battle of France which lasted from May 10 1940 until a ceasefire, June 23 1940. This “Battle of France” was the deadliest battle on the Western front: more than 200,000 died (Belgian and French civilians and soldiers of all sides, all together). The dead included more than 50,000 Nazi (“German”) troops. Some will smirk and say:’Oh, the French killed 50,000 Germans in May-June 1940, so what?’ So this: those dead “Germans” were actually elite troops, the most trained, dedicated, ultra-fanaticized. They were sorely missed a year later, when Hitler attacked Stalin.

US fanatics, and quite often liars in (mental) absentia, further smirk that the US freed France in 1944. The exact notion is: the US helped to free France in 1944. So did others. More than half of the troops on D Day were NOT US. OK, there were only 400 French elite commandos… because the French hating plutocrat FD Roosevelt refused to let the French command know about D Day. But the French resistance was told, and played a crucial role (mobilizing 17 German divisions in south central France… Plus four elite Nazi divisions occupied at reconquering the liberated Vercors… killing 5,000 French civilians in the process.

D Day was a close run thing, for the first four weeks. Had the Nazis been able to bring to bear a few elite divisions in, the Allies would have been thrown back in the sea. Disinformation played a crucial role: Hitler was made to believe Patton would cross over the Pas De Calais. Allied air superiority was fundamental. But so was the French resistance, by sabotaging all trains, and endangering all German night moves.

So the French Republic was definitively at war in 1944. It had been at war earlier, in 1943, when general Juin broke decisively the Hitler Line (renamed before it got broken), in the mountains, south of Rome (which had stalled the Allies for many months). Juin told the high command he could be in Austria in a matter of weeks, if given more divisions. The Americans, instead, removed divisions from him, preferring the stalemate of Anzio.

In 1942, the French army of general Koenig blocked the Afrika Korps and the Italian armor, preventing them to encircle the British (“8th”) army, the only British army between England and India. So the French were also at war with Nazi Germany in 1942. And crucially: the Bir Hakeim battle was the best opportunity the Nazis and Italian fascists had to defeat the Brits, kill the Jews, get the oil. The result was, indirectly, the desperate Nazi attempt on Stalingrad…

So when were the French not at war in WW2? Say, in 1941 (when actually French forces were at war: attacked in Dakar by the British, the French army defended itself successfully, and De Gaulle contemplated suicide…). Guess what? The US plutocrats were fully allied with Hitler in 1941.

The French Republic won WW1, and WW2. Now Germany, mimicking France, is trying to be a republic (and would be a better one if it stopped exploiting southern Europe and holding hypocritical discourse on the European Union, refugees, ecology and Russia…)

The victory of French civilization was total: military, diplomatic, philosophical, even emotional… The erroneous, fatal, abysmal deviation of German ideology into a spirit following the tribalist Herder, and strictly opposed to Goethe, was totally smashed. American plutocratic propaganda to the contrary is not futile, though. In truth, it works, and it is extremely dangerous: civilization is at stake when US propagandists claim that Nazism actually won… They are claiming they won. Maybe they did, but they shouldn’t, and we can still make it so.

Take the four generals above. In other pictures, they all stand at attention and give a military salute together. However I couldn’t publish those pictures: they have been all stolen by entities called Alamy and Getty (Getty was a famous plutocrat). As far as I can tell, this is just Anglo-Saxon thievery, an opinion shared by Wikipedia (Anglo-Saxon media has gone in overdrive accusing “Russia” of malfeasance; it may be time, for balance, to use the same severity on the other side). Thieves grab public domain pictures, and, with the complicity of US search engines, make it so that they capture the Internet for profit… Just as Anglo-Saxon corporations, by launching and supporting Hitler (sometimes to the bitter end, see IBM), made it possible to steal the world, and now own it…

So of course the US won World War Two, and everybody else lost, to a more or less greater extent. In France, the wealthy CIA put 50 of the top French influencers on its payroll (so things have not really changed, they just got worse). I also view “French Theory” as a tool for plutocracy, something which has led us to the likes of Merkel ruling Europe into oblivion. Merkel: no logic there, as long as she can export cars using her bankrupt banks, and burn lignite in the guise of condemning nuclear power. Guess what? Today Fukushima beach was open to children: initially it was supposed to be closed for all humans 40 years (after several nuclear reactors riddled with grotesque safety violations exploded, consecutive to having been hit by a 30 meter wave…). What does that mean: Merkel’s overreaction is the result of a cognitive-ethical failure: she doesn’t mind cooking the planet, because that’s not “cool” to worry about that… But getting in one million improperly vetted Muslims, that’s “cool” (even if they threaten to go use their English in the UK, and thus help cause Brexit…)

Nowadays, we need the spirit of France on September 3, 1939: if you see evil, you attack. The US never attacked Hitler: it’s Hitler who declared war to the USA, December 11, 1941, 4 days after its ally Japan attacked at Pearl Harbor (which had attacked France in September 1940, as part of its war against China…). The US didn’t intend to go to war in 1942:  the many US businessmen making a fortune in Germany (as they had 25 years earlier) didn’t want war.

All these moral failures are never commented upon. Yet they are rife in today’s global world order. Why do they increase? Because of the increasing self-promoting ignorance of Internet fiends. The more outrageous there, the more “interesting” one is found to be, and the more one can get a nice income and position. How low can civilization go? How many lies does it take to sink all rationality?

Oh, by the way, war games were conducted on what happened for five days after May 10, 1940, and the Battle of France of 1940, have been run many times. They always end the same way: with a French victory. In reality the Brits and France were defeated, because of a succession, and combination of very unlikely events. War games show that France and Britain should have won. If just one Spitfire pilot had been taken seriously, or the French had not sent their fast deployment armored reserve of seven divisions into the Netherlands, or a Nazi plane with plans has not crashed, etc…
