Happy New Year to everyone!… yes, almost everyone… Even the bad ones help us thinkers because they stimulate our neurons… Whether your new year is good or bad, o evil ones, we can only gain by leveraging the passions you offer.

Abstract: Some exchanges with ChatGPT, the woke AI.”Woke” is essentially a way to put minds to sleep. ChatGPT repeating itself enormously, most of its repetitive, diluted answers have been canceled. I kept some of the good stuff. A striking fact is that ChatGPT, firmly determined to say nice stuff, except about official bad guys, ends up contradicting itself logically. It can say A and quickly follow this A by NON A…

This world needs peace… But the right sort of peace, real peace doesn’t live upon appeasement alone…

In December 2023 it was revealed that Chat GPT will tell “Jewish jokes”, if asked to do so… But not Muslim jokes… That was corrected later, after an Internet scandal, but it picked my interest.

Hitler also suggested calling such people “Jews”. There was also a plan, and an order, to kill all Communist Commissars.

There certainly was a Nazi practice of exterminating Jews, and there was a plan to invade and starve Poles. Are you thinking of the Wannsee conference held in January 1942? Do you call that two hour meeting a “plan”?

PA: If there is not enough food, there is death. By destroying Polish food production systematically, the Nazis intended to kill all Poles. There was an extermination implementation regarding Jews… without really a “plan”. For example, Hitler had a plan to turn Moscow into a lake. That was a real plan. But the worst part in the attempted extermination of the Jews is that there was no explicit “plan”. It’s a case of Deep State subconscious. The Wannsee conference was mostly to stop legal interference in the extermination of Jews by parts of the Nazi government itself applying Nazi laws!

Heydrich tried to make clear in an hour-long speech that no legal niceties should get in the way of whatever was done with the Jews. After that hour-long monologue, everybody mingled, drinking and eating delicacies. A nervous Heydrich was relieved that the meeting went so well (said Eichmann, who was the secretary). Still, it was not too clear what the “Final Solution” consisted of. Meanwhile, the German population was told that their Jewish friends or neighbors had been moved to the east, “for their own safety“, as the Jews were guilty in the launch of WW2 (although the war had been declared by France and Britain, those countries were viewed as Jewish dominated).

Similarly no German soldier who refused to violate the official laws of war was ever prosecuted. Around 170 such cases are known.

Using Heydrich’s own numbers (we have a copy), Goebbels deplored that there were still 11 (eleven) million Jews in Europe,  and declared it was urgent to deport them to the East, and, after the war, on an island such as Madagascar… the 7 March, 1942, in Goebbels’ own journal… So when discussing the so-called “Holocaust”, it’s crucial to understand that it didn’t happen as is commonly believed. Sometimes the Einsatzgruppen in charge of exterminating Jews, and made mostly of very educated individuals, entered eastern municipalities where the Jews had already been massacred… by helpful natives!  This is very important as it enlightens part of the problems we encounter today (we humane humans).

Other numbers show that, out of 12 million Poles capable of resistance, seven (7) million died violently from Nazi action. While half the European Jews died. The latter is called a whole-burning (Holo-Caust)… Although people who died violently in WW2 and were Jewish constituted around 6% of the total number of victims of WW2, only them got the whole-burning label. Is the pain of Jews somehow greater than the pain of the more than 70 million civilians or so who also died violently in WW2 so that it must be singled out?

The most remarkable thing is that nobody asked for the genocide of the Jews in the 1930s, or for a world war with 5% of the world killed. All this horror, death and destruction sneaked in.

In the present world we have a dictator claiming that a major country which has existed for 12 centuries since it was founded by Vikings… and which founded the dictator’s own country, does not exist and should be destroyed (Putin is as logical as ChatGPT). And we have an organization, Hamas, which, in its charter (article 7) claims that it must kill all Jews… So that the merciful Allah can realize his genocidal plan…

So what we have now, alive, well, and extremely strident, are outrageous claims of a sort the 1930s didn’t see…  Even more troubling, Putin and Hamas have many devoted followers in the West… ChatGPT doesn’t want to say Hamas is a bunch of assassins, although they put it black on white, for decades…

Nota Bene: ChatGPT actually asked me for my opinion on the most important part of the exchanges above (I omitted the choices I was presented with). This explains how the Woke drift appeared: the ChatGPT AI was corrected by humans deranged by acute wokism.

OK, not as bad as it looks, six millions were lost from being gobbled up by the USSR… However being deprived of one’s territory is an aspect of genocide (that happened to the Jews in 136 CE or the Cherokees in the 1800s…).

Kill Nuclear Tyranny Before It’s Too Late

Abstract: Putin’s collaborators say that we should submit to him, because he threatened to destroy us. Wisdom says the opposite: we should get rid of Putin, because he threatened to destroy humanity. 80 years after Auschwitz, that should not be too hard to understand.

International law and the United Nations recognize that “war of aggression is the ultimate crime against humanity“… Why? Precisely because war of aggression entails many other crimes against humanity.

That propaganda was particularly effective in France, as the French Communist Party was under the orders of Moscow, itself secretly, and then officially, collaborating with the Nazis. The result was that most new French fighter planes did not receive their armament (the military high command was afraid it would be seized by Nazi/Soviet collaborators). During the fatal week of May 10, 1940, France therefore couldn’t put in the air enough fighters. 

The Kremlin nuclear tyrant fosters lies, such as Ukraine not allowing COVID vaccines (it allows six, including those allowed in the US and EU), or Ukraine closing TV stations (Putin propaganda stations also closed in the EU), or being vengeful against a past treacherous president (a Putin collaborator who violated the Ukrainian constitution, caused deaths, and is the object of national and international warrants of arrest from judicial proceedings) …

However, this is the Armageddon struggle between nuclear tyrnaical terror and the open democratic society: only the latter can be sustained on a small planet.   

A first Russian officer, 21 year old, is on trial for killing a civilian. There are several witnesses, including other Russian soldiers, who were arrested with him. The officer admitted his guilt, apparently an act of madness, as he and other soldiers were fleeing after commandeering a car, consecutive to the destruction of their armored vehicles.

Evidence for thousands of war crimes is being gathered in Ukraine, by many countries, the UN and even French military war crime specialist units (NATO boots on the ground!) There is a precedent in Bosnia and Serbia of arresting war criminals who led countries and states.

History does not always repeat itself as stupidly as before. Civilization can learn, and does.

The cartoon of Stalin and Hitler killing Poland was drawn on September 20, 1939. So some US citizens had a fair idea of what was going on. At the time, Britain had basically no army, so France was facing basically alone the coalition of Germany, Italy, Japan and the USSR. Hitler used massive Soviet resources to invade France… and the Soviet fifth column or threat thereof.

In an eerie repeat of history, Russia’s Ambassador to Venezuela claimed that   the Soviet Union did not invade Poland on Sept 17, 1939 and that it was in fact Poland, not the USSR, that collaborated with Nazi Germany.  His explanation of how half of what was then Poland came to be under Soviet occupation is similar to the arguments of Russian liar Vladimir Putin to invade Ukraine.

Ambassador Vladimir Zayemsky’s delirium appeared in “Correo del Orinoco” on Sunday, Sept 20, 2015, under the title “The Truth as Historical Imperative”.   This venal character pretends that there has been an increase in attempts to attribute “supposed” crimes during the Second World War to the Soviet Union, and calls Poland the worst liar. A few years later, the Putin dictatorship removed memorials to some of the massacres that the USSR committed against Poland (for example Katyn, which dozens of thousands in the Polish elite).

By engaging in what he calls a campaign of lies, Russian authorities claim that Poland tries to divert attention from its own crimes during the Second World War.  Zayemsky claims that the Soviet Union did not invade Poland on Sept 17, but merely took back territory which Poland had illegally stolen. However Polish territory was settled internationally in Versailles in 1919, when Poland was made free from the German occupier.

Reality is that the Soviet Union invaded Poland, without a declaration of war, on Sept 17, 1939.  This was according to the Secret Protocol to the USSR-Naziland, Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of Aug 23, 1939. Two months later, the Kremlin tyranny invaded Finland. Nine days later, the USSR was kicked out of the League of Nations…

European Union: Stress It To Build It Better

Poland is right to fight back and asserts that the supremacy of its democracy trumps… the fascist European Union machinery which has sneaked in, during recent decades...

On European construction: One has to look at how European institutions evolved… Often sneakily, newly created power centers arrogated some powers… The European Court of Justice and the like are examples… Those powers can be dialed back, and should be abrogated.

 

Britain, a major power, had to push back and ignore the EU and fascist Parisian oligarchs where they stepped out of line. Instead, Britain fled… with nowhere to go… 

 

Poland, also a major and willful power, is doing that a lot, not respecting “EU”… “law”… and I like it.

 

In the migrant crisis, in the last few days, Poland, correctly so, told the EU and NATO to get lost, and stayed firmly in charge. The Poles explained they would not use European organization such as the EU’s Frontex (the EU frontier police), because Poland did not want to lose control of its border, at some future date, the Polish government declared, a legitimate reason .

 

That’s how Europe is built for the better: by pushing back against fascism, not just quitting… Like a scared rabbit the way the UK did. Britain could have done a lot to sabotage and destroy aspects of the EU it legitimately did not like. Because it would have been legitimate, Britain would have won.

 

In the basic spirit of the European Union, local democracy should stay paramount. Yes, many EU partisans claim that it is not so, that the “EU” (whatever that means) overrules local democracy… But that’s not the case either in logic, history or founding documents. And, in practice the EU obeys tiny Alpine Swiss Cantons, as it should. And Switzerland is not even formally in the EU…

In the grander scheme of things, one may wonder what’s wrong with Europe. How come US president Trump financed European COVID vaccines before the EU did? How come supreme Brexiter Boris Johnson financed a French COVID vaccine, and neither France, nor the EU financed said vaccine?

More generally, Europe is falling off the cliff technologically… And does not seem to mind. How come?

The Brexiters promised gigantic scientific budgets, as if they were China… Where are they? (Biden did the same, promising ten billions for supplementary science; when he signed the “structure” bill, those ten billion dollars of supplementary funding had shrunk to 998 millions… although there was still 7.5 billion in subsidies for the wealthy’s electric cars…).

 

China, ironically enough, has espoused the European scientific-technological Zeitgeist of the Nineteenth Century…. That’s, of course, excellent… But why did Europe abandon it? 

From “Postmodernism”? Perverse and deranged postcolonialism? Anti-progress mentality (look at all the anti-vaxxers explaining the COVID vaccines are a plot to kill humanity…)? Plain anti-intellectual laziness? Don’t laugh: the Nazis were intellectually lazy, it tired them so much to think, they did whatever… As long as it caused mayhem, that was OK… 

In 1939, Poland stood courageously against Hitler. The alliance with the French Republic was activated and Britain followed… Polish Prime Ministers (one of them on the right) enjoy reminding German Kanzlers (one of them on the left, unkindly labelled as “Merkler” by yours truly, more than once…) that Poland would have a much larger population had it not been decimated by Germany… in 1939-1945… Accordingly the Lisbon Treaty gave a heavier vote weight than one would expect by just looking at Poland’s population…

Confronted to all this European decay, Brexiters are keen to brandish democracy, and proclaim that they are not scared rabbits because their ancestors finally joined France in resisting Hitler in 1939… something the US. seduced by the racism of Nazism and the profits it brought… did not do.

However, that’s pretty much irrelevant… and the details are much less glorious. The military effort of France and Britain in 1939-1940 rested mostly on France. The British army was no more than 300,000, evacuated at Dunkirk because the French First army held the perimeter against the entire German army. In 1939-40, the French army was more than five million (it rebounded in a Nazi-invasion army of 1.2 million in 1944-45…).

In 1939, the French were on the frontline. The British, not so much. The first British soldier took one month to reach the frontline.
The breakthrough at Sedan on May 13, 1940, was rendered possible because the Second British armored division had not arrived yet (it was supposed to back up a French reservist B division of “crocodiles“, old men full of wrinkles, hence their nicknames). Had that division arrived, with its excellent Mathilde tanks, the Nazi breakthrough at Sedan would not have happened.
The French 55th B division faced three panzer divisions on two fronts, plus the elite Gross Deutschland regiment, and the entire Luftwaffe. Still, Nazi engineers had to use suicide attacks…

Then of course there was the Battle of Britain, where the Royal Air Force saved Britain… But some of the pilots were Polish, and the Luftwaffe had already experienced gigantic losses during the Battle Of France, two months prior… Some of the best German pilots were dead already…
Poland is achieving in 2021 what Britain did not have the guts to do before Brexit: fight back against all sorts of European fascist declinist idiots (who make Biden look like a genius). Meanwhile, Britain, as it should, is joining European institutions such as the “Horizon” program…

Brexit is never done, because it will never happen. UK is already trying to get back in (consider the “Horizon” program…) Trying in and out at the same time. A kind of sex maybe for old impotent men?

Euroskepticism’s Awakens Not

I have said it many times before, I will say it many times again: the Europe Union was set-up to avoid war. This is what Euroskeptics who claim to love Europe should be reminded of. Especially the British.

Of course there won’t be war, or even disagreements, between the French republic, and Britain. There is not the problem. The problem is in Eastern Europe.

A popular Polish magazine published a cover portraying five leading EU politicians – led by the German chancellor, Frau Angela Merkel – in Nazi uniforms beneath the headline “These People Want to Control Poland Again”.

Nice Uniforms. Poland & Hitler Became Allies In 1934. Poland Turned to France ONLY in 1939, After Spain Fell, and So Did Britain Agree to Follow France Against Hitler, After Poland Did, In 1939. Too Late.

The image on the front of the weekly Wprost showed Merkel, the European commission president, Jean-Claude Juncker, (Socialist, SPD) European parliament president Martin Schulz, EU commissioner Günther Oettinger, and Guy Verhofstadt, the former Belgian prime minister, leaning over a map, from a wartime photograph of Adolf Hitler and his generals. (By now there should be more pictures of Merkel in Nazi uniform than of Kanzler Adolf Hitler himself!)

Germany is paying vast amounts of money to support the sustained and astounding expansion of the Polish economy since 2008. Some Germans of influence are starting to grumble (and they should).

Verhofstadt, who leads the liberal Alde group in the European Parliament, called the image  “outrageous”, adding that the EU was a “community of values” and that it was “the duty of all of us – commissioners, chancellors or not, to raise our voice when a government is endangering these principles and attacking democratic institutions”.

The Germans Schulz and Oettinger, have been critical of the conservative, severely Catholic Law and Justice (PiS) party, in power since October. It strengthened government control over the constitutional court, civil service and Polish public radio and television. Other Europeans are not amused. This problem arose with Austria’s flirting with the extreme right and Hungary’s Orban before. Both became non-sequiturs (Orban took measures many other European states adopted since, so Orban is not that bad).

The Francophone Martin Schulz described the Polish government’s actions as a “dangerous Putinisation of European politics”, while Oettinger proposed that Poland should be put under rule of law supervision, a (new) legislation designed to deal with “systemic threats” to EU values.

Meanwhile the war against Islam goes on (yes, because that’s what it is, sorry to break the news…). The Islamists attacked in Istanbul, Djakarta, Ouagadougou. There, in the Burkina Fasso capital, two famous Swiss humanitarians were killed by the local subsidiary of Al Qaeda (the USA announced in the past, erroneously it turns out, that they had killed its leader, who had made an attack on an Algerian refinery… Among other things).

This shows, once again, that humanitarianism, while not being exactly nothing, is clearly minor relative to militarism: humanitarianism is possible only when an empire has been set-up. Humanitarianism is possible only when a modicum of law already rules.

The Islamist State lost 20% of its territory in Syria in a year. The Islamist State is losing ground to Kurdish forces. However the Islamist State still controls 60% of Syrian oil production.

The price of a woman on the slave market of the Islamist State was 150 Euros. Holy Islamist script sanctifies slavery, alleluia. Meanwhile, the price of oil is the lowest in 12 years.

If we want humanitarianism in Europe, we need an empire first. A republican, democratic empire. Extreme, aggressive localization, fragmentation, nationalism, closing of the borders, competitive devaluations a la Friedman-Krugman, can only lead to war.

The latest Star War movie, episode VII, “The Force Awakens” does not hit on that idea. Instead it represents a “New Order” rising to destroy “The Republic”. This was indeed the situation between the “New Order” of the Nazis and the Italian fascists, against the FRENCH REPUBLIC, in the 1930s. But, at the time, the fascists had the help of a deus ex machine, the Anglo-Saxon plutocracy. It’s only the latter, and the influence it exerted on the British and American governments, making their behaviors at best ambiguous (Britain, Belgium), if not downright treacherous (USA).

Many Euroskeptics affect to present the meek and weak and inchoating European Union Federal structures as a “New Order” full of strength and evil. But the exact opposite is true.

When the Huns in the Fourth Century and the Mongols, a millennium later, bore onto Europe, it is the division, confusion, multiplicity and weakness of the European political structures which made their assaults possible.

Earlier the German invasions into the Roman empire (fascist, but peaceful and rich inside) had also be made possible by confusion and weakness. Especially military weakness. The latter was made possible by a lack of means consecutive to plutocratization (the hyper rich refused to pay taxes, hoping that, somehow, weaker official armies would still be able to weaken the enemy enough to make their own private armies able to control the situation…).

We are in a similar situation: a raid with a 15,000 men armored thrust by the French, and, or the Americans, would get rid of the Islamist State capital of Raqqa.

But, of course, the real problem is Riyadh, the Saudi capital. Why should the West tolerate those outrageous deviants? Because we are led by deviants ourselves. Lesser deviants, maybe, but still deviant.

So what of this Star Wars’ The Force Awakens’? Well, I did not fall asleep, thanks to the special effects, which are better than ever (as they should). But, contrarily to the rave reviews I read, the story was boring, an already swallowed, now regurgitated food, we had been served before. Contrarily to the (much decried) “prequels” it did not break any philosophical new ground. The Islamist State writes much better, much more innovative scripts, which dig much deeper in the human condition.

What should France and Germany do? Keep on unifying with each other, and forget the noise of those out to distract them from the imperial task at hand…

WHOSE WATERLOO WAS IT?

WATERLOO WAS A VICTORY FOR RACISM, BANKSTERISM, And Other Unsung Horrors

This is the 200th anniversary of the battle of Waterloo. History is our teacher, it’s more instructive, and surprising, than fiction.

Napoleon, at some point, turned into a tyrant, and, just as Roman emperor Augustus, buried the Republic. Or, at least, just as Augustus, much of it. Thus many celebrate Napoleon’s defeat.

However, who won that war? Arguably, Europe’s worst plutocrats, racists, and their banksters. At Waterloo, plutocracy, racism, and banksterism (let alone anti-French sentiment) won. We are living with the consequences. Yet, ultimately, how Napoleon started his career, the Revolution, is winning over civilization. As it has to.

Not so coincidentally, a white blonde supremacist youth went to a church in the USA , sat quietly for an hour, and then killed nine people there, just because he did not like their color. He probably did not know his own white skin was a recently acquired trait of darker skin ancestors.

What does racism have to do with Waterloo? Everything. The French Revolution had “black” generals, and so did Napoleon (an excellent example being Alexandre Dumas Senior, a top general). French anti-racism was also defeated at Waterloo.

In 1815, after Napoleon’s defeat, Prussian racist laws were extended to all of Germany. If one were of the wrong race, one could not be a lawyer, a doctor, etc. Karl Marx’s father, who was a doctor, was prevented to exercise as a consequence of anti-racism’s defeat at Waterloo.

Poles, in particular, were the object of INSTITUTIONALIZED racism from the Prussian (that is, “German”) empire. Poland was occupied, dismembered, treated worse than most African nations would be treated later under colonialism.

Napoleon went to military school under king Louis XVI, at age nine. He and his elder brother, did not see Corsica again, nor their family, for six years. After it was checked that the Buonaparte family belonged to the Corsican nobility, Napoleon and Joseph attended for free. Napoleon came out as an artillery officer. He stayed in the army as the Revolution happened.

In April 1792, all the plutocrats of Europe attacked France, although France was still, nominally, a Constitutional Monarchy headed by Louis XVI. In that period, Napoleon found himself in Corsica, trying to control Pasquale Paoli, the “dictator” of Corsica, who had led the ephemeral Republic there, before it had been expelled by Louis XVI’s army. Paoli had gone to live in England, handsomely paid by the British government. Twenty years later, the Revolution allowed Paoli to come back. Napoleon, an active Jacobin, organized elections which Paoli president. However, soon enough, Paoli was heading a weird “British Corsican” kingdom.

In July 1792, unbelievably the Duke of Brunswick, who led the plutocratic coalition against Revolutionary France, threatened to “execute” and submit to horrible “supplices” the entire population of Paris.

This is why Auschwitz was not an accident. Nor was the attack on Paris of Kaiser Wilhelm II in August 1914. Threatening publicly to torture to death Europe’s largest city, just because it enjoyed a revolution, was clearly the official launch of the Prussian Will to Genocide. (This did not come out of the blue: the initial invasion of Pagan Prussia by the Christian Teutonic Knights, the Prussian Crusade, was an extremely bloody affair, capped by a genocide of the natives.)

In Fall 1793, British and Spanish forces had seized Toulon. Napoleon, then a 24 year old captain, insisted that the two preceding generals be fired. His battle plan was finally implemented. It worked superbly. The British commanding general was captured, the British and Spanish fleets had to flee under the fire of red hot cannon balls (balls were heated in special ovens so that, when they landed inside a ship, they would set it on fire; many British boats exploded during the attack, some scuttled so that the French could not seize the munitions; the Brits had brought enough explosives to destroy everything on their way to Paris).

Napoleon was severely wounded during the assault by a British bayonet which went through his thigh. He kept on fighting.

After the victory and healing, Napoleon was convoked by the top generals. Wines, and a great meal were served. Laughing, the high command told the Corsican youth to change first to his brand new general’s uniform.

Often the Brits gloat that they saved the world against tyranny, by defeating Napoleon. Well, on the face of what happened in the following 130 years, not so. Prussia, Britain’s pet monster, came back to bite everybody. But not just that. The truth? British armed forces were on the side, of racism, fascism, plutocracy, imperialism, banksterism and exploitation. And this is what launched Napoleon.

Another lie, by the way, is that the Netherlands and Belgium were freed of France… by defeating the French.

Indeed, the Belgiae were always part of Gallia, Gaul, and the Franks were Dutch. Not just this, but, in an eighty year war, France around 1600, freed the Netherlands from Spain (before that the most powerful land army). If France had not been around to intervene each time the Spanish army attacked the Netherlands, the Dutch would be speaking Spanish.

As a telling aside, Edward III of England (grandson of Philippe IV Le Bel of France) launched the so-called 100 year war, at the urging of the count of Artois, who used to fight in a bright red costume and armor, just to make sure his combative nature was fully in evidence. He had been deprived of his land by the King of France. Artois’ land were fully in present day Belgium. Belgium was created, after Napoleon’s defeat, just to weaken France. The obvious truth, in the fullness of history, considering the jurisdiction given to the Francks in 400 CE by the Roman government, the entire west bank of the Rhine is clearly French.

The creation of the Netherlands and Belgium, to a great extent correspond to the attempt of creating a British controlled Provence in 1793.

The inheritance of Napoleon is mixed. Napoleon’s own younger brother Lucien, when he was 17, wrote prescient words about the danger his brother could become. However flawed, his unification of Europe worked in more ways than one. Germany found itself united, and liked it. Poland found itself sort of free, and certainly not grievously racially discriminated against, and loved it. Italy was united, and loved it too (Napoleon III would throw the Austrian plutocrats out at the battles of Magenta and Solferino, in 1856, making, Italy free and whole again).

The invasion of Russia was made necessary by Alexander III’s behavior, and on-going British interference. It failed for similar reason as Athens’ war with Sparta failed: a plague (of unknown nature for Athens, typhus for the Grande Armee). Napoleon’s greatest mistake, was to bend over backwards to integrate the old European nobility plutocracy inside his supranational state. He may as well have tried to cohabit with snakes in his bed.

“It has been a damned nice thing — the nearest run thing you ever saw in your life.” the Duke of Wellington, speaking of the battle of Waterloo (which was lost because Marshall Grouchy and his 30,000 man army got lost, and the Prussian Blucher 50,000 men intervened instead).

“Waterloo is not a battle; it is the changing face of the universe.” Victor Hugo, author of Les Miserables.

And the universe did not change for the best. The idea of European supranational state was defeated at Waterloo, and replaced by racism, plutocracy, banksterism, etc. It made both Great Britain and the USA superpowers, while greatly dismantling France, as the War of the Spanish Succession finishing in 1713 already had .

Guess what? The supranational European state is back. Prussia and its racism were been annihilated in 1945. Instead, the German Republic became exactly what the French revolutionaries of 1792 wanted to see next door. And Napoleon was one of these French Revolutionaries. What Napoleon and Grouchy did not succeed to do in 1815, was done by other as Allies and extensions of the French Republic, in 1945.

Now, having saved the ruling banksters, we are being told by the dictators who govern us, that the Greeks need to be punished some more.  And the Republic of South Africa let the war criminal heading Sudan escape (in violation of the International Criminal Court, something undermined by the refusal of the USA to participate, an apparent admission that the policy of the USA is firmly committed to war criminality, looking forward…).

Napoleon started his career fighting for independence, freedom, and against plutocracy. But one does not fight hell with flowers. Napoleon vastly overshot on the Dark Side. In 1815, human rights were defeated, and the way to Auschwitz, cleared. However, the tide has turned in 1945 (after much French sacrifice, and more than 100 million killed in the 1914-45 war).

It’s time for the right side to win more Waterloos. Not only do we need a European Supranational state, but we need a World Supranational state. And it needs to be led by the best ideals of Revolutionary France. The rest is hopeless babble heading irresistibly to humanity’s Waterloo.

CIVILIZATION WARNED Hitler & Putin

Abstract: Putin is going to war for exactly the exact same socio-economic reason as Adolf Hitler: total failure. So he will not stop, until all is consummated.

Putin’s plutocratic society has turned into a dictatorship. His economy, weakened by militarization and corruption, is failing. That decay is on a collision course with his self-admitted personal addiction to power. A difference with Hitler: oil and gas (Russia is the first producer, with the USA; Hitler had none and depended upon American and Russian oil until 1941). Faced with fascism again, having learned a bit from history, with higher stakes, this time the so called “democracies” are rallying in a more timely manner.

In September 1939, France attacked Hitler to help Poland. Alone, France was, and condemned by the presidency and Congress of the USA. This time, it’s completely different. The USA is on the frontlines, joining an increasingly serious NATO. France is sending to Poland and the Baltic republics one hundred of her lethal, nuclear capable Rafales active stealth jets:

Serious Business: Rafale Carrying Six Beyond Visual Range Infra Red Missiles &, On Its Belly A 300 Kiloton H Bomb Capable Of Making 600 Kilometers In 8 Minutes. Sent To Poland.

Both with the European Union, and NATO, attack against one is attack against all. Taken literally Putin has said he wanted to reconstitute the Czars’ evil empire. Submitting to Putin, means, for starters, sending people to be abused in concentration camps for homosexuality, opinions, and insulting the Church. Pluto’s reign: even Putin’s generals are billionaires.

[I would suggest that the USA sent anti-ballistic missile ships, in the Baltic, as the Kremlin has made nuclear threats from its occupied territory around the ancient German city of Konigsberg.]

SOCIALIST WARNING TO PLUTO PUTIN:

The French Republic is controlled by the Socialist Party, and, officially, 57% of its GDP is state (although an economist on this site, D. Deux said the real number is lower). France can hardly be called a Wall Street, or NATO puppet.

100 French supersonic active stealth fighter-bombers Rafales are deploying in Poland and the Baltics, some a few dozen miles from Russia’s Kaliningrad enclave. What’s Kaliningrad? The ancient East Prussia. Another territory invaded by the Kremlin, and declared to be Russian. Some of the Baltics have been tortured and nearly exterminated by Russia for the last 250 years. Then, after ethnic cleansing, the Czars moved in Russians (many as recently as after WWII, under Czar Stalin). Those very same Russians whose descendants now Putin wants to save so much.

The Rafales carry the active stealth system “Spectre”. Basically Spectre makes anti-noise, with a precision of less than one degree on the source. That allows to jam Very High Frequency radar that renders even stealth planes like the future USA Strike Fighter, the F35, “Lightning II, plainly visible.

Active stealth Rafales can carry a standoff missile carrying  a 300 kilotonnes (of TNT) thermonuclear warhead. That’s twenty times Hiroshima. The missile is propelled by a French invention patented in 1908 (Lorin), that nearly flew as a fighter in 1940, before flying in 1947, the RAMjet. The RAMjet gives the missile a 600 kilometers range above Mach 3 (because it carries only fuel: the RAM breathes air).

(By comparison the bomber part of the arsenal of the USA consists of subsonic planes carrying obsolete subsonic cruise missiles of H bomb power at most 150 kt.)

Britain also regrets to have only strategic nuclear submarines as a deterrent (which the Scottish Independence Party wants to eliminate, presumably to switch allegiance to Putin). As Russia has threatened to use H bombs on the battlefield, and based some in occupied “Kaliningrad”, between Lithuania and Poland, it’s good to be able to reply tit for tat. Besides, Rafales could certainly land on Red Square…

Even Socialist France is warning Putin.

WAR PHILOSOPHY:

As I have argued, history is basically a compendium of ineluctable complexities, avoidable conspiracies, and ultimate wars. In particular, history is not made by pacifists inasmuch as by war. See: “War Makes History”.

There are basically two types of war: bad guys against bad guys, and bad guys, against good guys. Wars of good guys against good guys are very rare (see Note1).

A sure way to have a country led by bad guys is to make it a plutocracy. In Putin’s realm, even the top generals are wealthy plutocrats. Actually every whom Putin calls a “friend” is a multimillionaire, or multibillionaire, in the West alone. Putin has invaded now three countries, and made clear he was not going to stop there.

The enormity of what happened has not been grasped yet, just because it’s too enormous, emotionally speaking. Such a thing, a major power using military force to annex territory, did not occur since 1938-1940 (when Hitler annexed several countries and pieces thereof). Even under Stalin, countries were invaded, and controlled, but Stalin did not formally annex them.  Far from annexing Ukraine, actually, Stalin gave Ukraine a seat at the United Nations, and other powers (which now Putin is busy stealing, making him, in that precise sense, worse than Stalin himself! Quite a feat).

PUTIN’S INVASION EXCUSE:

I argue that, although Putin really wants to terrorize the world with his military, and enjoys the power, his true motivation is to use his aggressive drive to hide a much less savory reality of his gigantic kingdom. But, before this, what is Putin’s official reasoning, officially a regression from concessions made by Stalin himself?

The unfolding invasion doctrine exposed by Putin, is a faithful duplicate of that of Hitler in the 1930s Hitler said: ‘invade wherever there are “threatened” “Germans”, and evoke the splendor of reconstituting the “Grosse Reich”, to protect “German” minorities. Putin says exactly the same except replacing “German” by “Russian”, and “Grosse Reich” by “the Big Country”.

As the New York Times put it, April 18, 2014 (with a few additions of mine between brackets []):

“[NEW RUSSIA] was conquered in the late 18th century by Catherine the Great, who installed [one of her many lovers, co-conspirators, and co-murderers in the assassination of Catherine’s husband, the Czar] Prince Grigory Potemkin to lead the colonization of the lands.

The prince earned fame as the architect of the Potemkin village, a town of brightly painted facades and happy people erected to deceive visiting officials and dignitaries. Critics have accused Mr. Putin of employing a similar sleight of hand in the invasion of Crimea and the supposedly spontaneous pro-Russian uprising in eastern Ukraine.

On Thursday, Mr. Putin repeated his assertion that he felt an obligation to protect ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine, where they are a large minority of the population. “We must do everything to help these people to protect their rights and independently determine their own destiny,” he said.

“The question is to ensure the rights and interests of the Russian southeast,” he added. “It’s New Russia. Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Odessa were not part of Ukraine in czarist times; they were transferred in 1920. Why? God knows. Then, for various reasons, these areas were gone, and the people stayed there. We need to encourage them to find a solution.”

What Putin is saying is that the empire of the Czars ought to be reconstituted, as it existed in the Nineteenth Century. That means that, among other places, Poland ought to be annexed (Poland was part of the empire of the Czars in the 19C).

IF ANYTHING, WHAT PUTIN SAYS OUGHT TO BE TAKEN MORE SERIOUSLY THAN HITLER:

Yes, it’s enormous. Yes, Putin went off the deep end. Yet, remember this: it’s because people did not read Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini or Hitler literally, that they got surprised by the resulting holocausts, later.

Once again, several of mechanisms launched by Putin are exactly the same as with the ones the Nazi dictator used. Hitler was surrounded by a cloud of plutocrats (many from the USA and Great Britain). Plutocrats made Hitler feel all powerful, and made him believe that so great was plutocratic power (kratos), that they would keep the Western democracies impotent, and that, never, ever, Britain and the USA would align themselves behind the French Republic in her determined opposition to Nazism.

WHY HITLER COMMITTED TO A WAR HE WAS (NEARLY) SURE TO LOSE:

[The relevance to Putin, is that, at first sight, Putin is sure to lose, especially if he conquers all of Ukraine. Putin is acting from the same political delusion, and economic necessity as Hitler.]

So Hitler was sure that the “democracies” would once again surrender, and do whatever he wanted. However, he got extremely surprised by the signing of a defense treaty between Poland and Britain (France had signed a similar one 6 months earlier… with Britain in the appendix). Hitler tried a few last tricks, and differed the invasion of Poland by a few days.

However as Paul Schmidt, a translator of the Reich’s foreign ministry relates (See Note 3 for an error in the link!):   On Sunday September 3, 1939, at 9am, Berlin time:

“I then took the [British] ultimatum to the Chancellery, where everyone was anxiously awaiting me. Most of the members of the Cabinet and the leading men of the Party were collected in the room next to Hitler’s office. There was something of a crush and I had difficulty in getting through to Hitler.

When I entered the next room Hitler was sitting at his desk and Ribbentrop stood by the window. Both looked up expectantly as I came in. I stopped at some distance from Hitler’s desk, and then slowly translated the British Government’s ultimatum.

[This is the text of the British Ultimatum: ‘More than twenty-four hours have elapsed since an immediate reply was requested to the warning of September 1st, and since then the attacks on Poland have been intensified. If His Majesty’s Government has not received satisfactory assurances of the cessation of all aggressive action against Poland, and the withdrawal of German troops from that country, by 11 o’clock British Summer Time, from that time a state of war will exist between Great Britain and Germany.’]

Paul Schmidt pursues:

“When I finished, there was complete silence.

Hitler sat immobile, gazing before him. He was not at a loss, as was afterwards stated, nor did he rage as others allege. He sat completely silent and unmoving. 

After an interval which seemed an age, he turned to Ribbentrop, who had remained standing by the window. ‘What now?’ asked Hitler with a savage look, as though implying that his Foreign Minister had misled him about England’s probable reaction. Ribbentrop answered quietly: ‘I assume that the French will hand in a similar ultimatum within the hour.’

[Patrice’s remark: Hitler’s foreign minister and former Ambassador and conspirator to London, Joachim von Ribbentrop, had assured him repeatedly that neither Britain nor France would honor their commitments to Poland.]

Paul Schmidt pursues:

“As my duty was now performed, I withdrew. To those in the anteroom pressing round me I said: ‘The English have just handed us an ultimatum. In two hours a state of war will exist between England and Germany.’ In the anteroom, too, this news was followed by complete silence.  

Goering turned to me and said: ‘If we lose this war, then God have mercy on us!’ Goebbels stood in a corner, downcast and self-absorbed. Everywhere in the room I saw looks of grave concern, even amongst the lesser Party people.”

Hitler was allied with the Kremlin, which promptly invaded Poland, even though 45 French divisions attacked Hitler’s “Westwall” in the West: “Poland never will rise again in the form of the Versailles treaty. That is guaranteed not only by Germany, but also … Russia.” (Hitler , public speech in Dantzig, now Gdansk, end September 1939.)

WHY PUTIN IS INVADING:

What is going on with Putin? Why is he so crazy? Why does he risk a widening war?

Well, the answer is simple: because he has long been at war, and has long been losing it so well that even him, in spite of his stupidity, has noticed it. Like a gambler on a losing streak, he puts more on the table. Wait, some will say: ”Is Putin not acquiring territory? How can you say he is losing”.

Once again, Adolf Hitler’s case comes to our rescue to understand the generality of the situation.

In 1939, President Franklin Roosevelt, alarmed by Hitler’s annexations sent a telegram to the German “Chancellor-President” inquiring: “Are you willing to give assurance that your armed forces will not attack or invade the territory of the following independent nations?” Roosevelt listed 31 nations including Poland, the Baltic States, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Britain.

Hitler gave his answer to the Reichstag, assuring ‘Herr Roosevelt’ that Germany only had peaceful intentions toward its neighbors. Germany, Hitler declared, “had not thought of proceeding in any way against Poland.”

Putin, Lavrov, and company have been duplicating those comments. And duplicating the brazen lying pattern of Hitler: after claiming there was an insurrection in Crimea, Putin coolly, and publicly, admitted that his forces did it all, “acting very professionally”. In other words, Putin lies so much, he believes that everybody has got to tolerate his constant lying, and he does not mind broadcasting it. That, too is reminiscent of Hitler, who did not hesitate to say, and write, publicly, that the bigger the lie, the better.  See “Mediating Pluto”.

As with Hitler, but hopefully faster this time, the “democracies” are going to get tired of the lies.

PUTIN & HITLER: WORLD WAR WANTED TO HIDE ECONOMIC FAILURE:

The truth was just the opposite. Starting in May 1939, the president of Germany gave a whole series of conferences to his top generals stating that war was unavoidable, because the German economy, far from flourishing, was breaking down.

What was going on? Germany had become a full blown plutocracy, corrupt through and through, insuring immense economic inefficiency.

Same for Putin’s Russia. Remember the Olympic games in Sochi, by far the most expensive, ever, in history, 50 billion dollars, most of the money going top plutocrats around Putin (some now struck by sanctions)?

Germany also was making a huge effort of militarization. That, too, unbalanced the economy completely. Putin is duplicating that. While NATO is disarming, Putin announced a complete rearmament with completely new weapons, including new mobile nuclear missiles.

So, of course, Putin’s economy is breaking down. The nominal GDP of Russia is significantly smaller than Italy, and is around 1.5 trillion dollars (less, smaller than California’s).

Hitler again, in his third and final conference to his top generals in August 1939:

“Our economic situation is such that we cannot hold out more than a few years. Göring can confirm this. We have no other choice. We must act,” Hitler said. Thus far, all of Germany’s territorial gains had come as a result of “political bluff” but it was now necessary to utilize Germany’s “military machine.”

“I shall give a propagandist reason for starting the war. Never mind whether it is plausible or not. The victor will not be asked afterward whether he told the truth or not. In starting and waging a war it is not right that matters but victory.”

In the latest developments, May 1, the Russian Foreign ministry condemned the Ukrainian national elections and referendum scheduled for May 25. Chancellor Merkel called Putin to ask him to say something about freeing observers of the 57 nation strong Organization or Security and Cooperation in Europe held by terrorists in South East Ukraine. Putin retorted by requesting the withdrawal of Ukrainian army from South east Ukraine (as if that was within the powers of Merkel to order around the Ukrainian army!)

I am of courseunfair when I compare Putin to Hitler.  Putin himself would to point out that he, and Hitler, used the methods Catherine The Great used to extend her borders all the way to the west. That, is west of Warsaw. Catherine would send spies and agents provocateurs, hard picked Russophiles, who would cause problems, and then what we call now Special Forces. At this point she would scream Russians are being threatened, and send her army, using the Targowican confederation.  She used that method also throughout the “New Russia” which Putin mentioned repeatedly.

The entire idea of the European Union is unanimity in all important decisions, respect of the dozens, if not hundreds, of cultures and civilizations of the Old Continent. It’s the exact opposite of the spirit that has been festering in the Kremlin, ever since it exists. It’s a shock of civilizations against a predation that predates civilization.

“They say the greatest addiction is to power,” Vladimir Putin. Well, there is more than that, baby Vladimir, with your nuclear toys. As Salvador Dali pointed out, Hitler started World War Two, just because he wanted to lose it… Unbeknownst to himself!

Why? There is a streak of self-destruction in the genus Homo.  By destroying the latter, just so, evolution made it possible for the environment to live another day.  Putin may feel he is channeling Ivan the Terrible, and he will create his “Big Country” (not realizing that his country is 42 times California in area already, although Russia has a smaller GDP than this state of the USA).

But all what Putin is doing is walking up the valley of death, searching for the oldest instinct, destruction of the fiercest predator, himself. Evolution at its best, culling the obsolete. Too bad millions of lives are at stake.

Meanwhile all will turn out good, as long as the Occident remembers that history it its master, and collapse, its friend.

Note 0: Why did Hitler refer his generals to Goering’s assessment of the Nazi economy? Hermann Goering was an authentic hero of the World War One, whereas Hitler had been only a courageous, but lowly caporal in WWI.

Generals took a flying ace such as Goering seriously. Goering replaced Von Richtoffen at the head of his top squadron, after the latter’s demise.  Moreover, the father of Goering had made Namibia safe for Germans, by exterminating the locals in a deliberate holocaust-man hunt.

So the Nazi German military officers (such as Rommel) could only venerate Goering. The most serious generals wanted Hitler dead. But that was easier said than done. When the generals turned to Anglo-American help to do so, they were betrayed.

Note1: the Swiss Civil War of 1847 is a rare example of good guys against good guys; yet, even in this case, the ones who won were the progressives federalists, and could be viewed as good guys against the staunch Catholic conservatives! Moreover, less than 150 soldiers got killed.  A better example of good guys on good guys would be the much more bloody French Commune of 1871, when both French sides had good points, and no choice, as the Prussian imperial army was pulling the strings, material or emotional, on both sides.

Note 2: On the obsolescence of USA bombers: manufactured between 1979 and 1990, the SUBSONIC cruise missile’s W-80 warhead is deployed aboard 85 non-stealthy Air Force B-52 bombers to give the 1960s-era planes an ability to launch nuclear weapons without having to enter heavily defended airspace.  The warhead has a variable explosive power of 5 to 150 kilotons, or roughly one-third to 10 times the yield of the nuclear weapon dropped on Hiroshima. It’s carried by 1980s-vintage Air Launched Cruise Missile.

Note 3: I gave the link on Paul Schmidt because it was in English. However it contains a grievous mistake: it claims France joined Britain in supporting Poland. However, in truth, it was the other way around: Britain was added in the fine print of the addendum of the Franco-Polish Treaty. And the truth is, that Britain was highly supportive of Hitler until 1936. In 1940, the ex British king, who was a Nazi, transmitted the French plans to his friend Adolf Hitler. Although he had been fired for being pro-Nazi, and wanting to marry a notorious Nazi spy, Edward VII had been made Inspector General of the British Forces, and spent a month studying the French defenses.

 

Kremlin Protests Kiev’s Protests.

The Kremlin let it be known that it will tolerate no longer protests in… Kiev, especially on Maidan (Freedom) Square. Protests apparently disturb the Kremlin’s delicate disposition, and spirit of “Eurasian Union” it wants to promote.

Putin is not only a trained professional killer, ex-head of the KGB with an “insufficient sense of danger” (one of his KGB instructors wrote in a report, long ago). He is also a Sixth Dan Black Belt in Judo. The idea of judo is to use the opponent’s strength and momentum against him.

I have said Putin is a plutocrat, in all senses of the term: not only he is immensely rich, grow, breed and herd plutocrats, but of course he satanically does not hesitate to mass murder (the death in the Chechnya war he, probably, engineered, are between 50,000 and 150,000).

The Times of London, dear to Russian plutocrats, now admits that Putin would own, personally, in Swiss bank accounts alone, around 40 billion dollars. It pays to be dictator of Russia, but one is never cautious enough. (I had long mentioned the 40 billions, the estimate is from 2007).

There was Kremlin “outrage” over a deadly weekend shootout in the rebel east of Ukraine that left three separatist rebels dead.

Weirdly, at first sight, none of the assailants were found, although their cars were riddled with bullets… and burned. The Kremlin and its propaganda were prompt to condemn the “Right Sector”. Yes, well, where is the proof, where are the bodies? How come, the cars were riddled with bullets coming perpendicularly, while the cars were parallel to the road, presumably with assailants still inside (otherwise why to riddle them with bullets?), and, still, those assailants, presumably shot full of holes, still succeeded to flee? And then, to erase the evidence, burned the cars?

What’s the proof that Pravy Sektor attacked? According to Russian media, it’s very simple: Pravy Sektor left a business card. Cars completely burned out, but the leader of Pravy Sektor does not forget to leave his business card! Assuredly a miracle proving God is from the Kremlin.

Let me help you, Kremlin. Who profits from such an attack? The “Right Sector” based in Western Ukraine (long part of Poland when Poland was not under the Czarist boot)? Certainly not. The Kremlin profits.

As Adolf Hitler told his generals in his third and final conference to his top general in Berchtesgaden, in August 1939:“We can’t hold economically anymore… We need war. What we got so far we got through bluff, but now we need to use the army… I shall give a propagandist reason for starting the war – never mind whether it is plausible or not . . . In starting and waging a war it is not right that matters but victory.”

Meanwhile the “little green men” who invaded Georgia and Crimea are now being identified by name, from photographs, as members of Russian Special Forces. The Ukrainian armor seized by the little green men was expertly operated within minutes, making hyper quick circles and other acrobatics to please the crowds.

This is an increasingly grave situation.

For months in 1939, German radio and newspapers and politicians, accused Polish authorities of organizing or tolerating violence against Germans in Poland. That was all invented.

In summer 1939, Adolf Hitler claimed he was anxious to solve the problem of Dantzig (nowadays Gdansk in Poland). Hitler was out to protect the Germans (in this free city). The problem had to be solved, the Poles refused to become reasonable, as they were backed up by the French Republic. Hitler made his alliance with Stalin official. Still Poland and France refused to compromise.

Hitler was told France and Britain would not go to war. Just to make sure, he set-up an elaborate plot.

The Gleiwitz incident (German: Überfall auf den Sender Gleiwitz; Polish: Prowokacja gliwicka) was a false flag operation by Nazi forces posing as Polish soldiers on 31 August 1939, against the German radio station Sender Gleiwitz in Gleiwitz, Upper Silesia, Germany (since 1945: Gliwice, Poland). The goal was to use the staged attack as a casus belli (war cause) to make internationally legal to invade Poland.

Alfred Naujocks at the Nuremberg Trials stated in testimony that he organized the incident under orders from Reinhard Heydrich and Heinrich Müller, chief of the Gestapo.

One hundred or so German special forces, dressed in Polish uniforms and led by Naujocks,^[2] seized the Gleiwitz station and broadcast an anti-Nazi message in Polish. The goal was to make the attack and the broadcast look like the work of anti-German Polish saboteurs.

The Nazis brought in Franciszek Honiok, a German Silesian known as anti-Nazi, who had been arrested by the Gestapo. Honiok was dressed as a saboteur; then killed and left as if shot while attacking the station. His corpse was presented as bodily evidence of the attack to the police and international press.

So were the corpses of more than a dozen concentration camp inmates similarly assassinated.

The Nazis staged another twenty  or so false Polish attacks against Germany that night. At 4:45 am, the Nazi airforce attacked the Polish airforce. However, that was lost in the brouhaha of the unamused attitude of the French Republic.

Nobody serious believed the Nazis for a second. Within hours of the staged attacks, as the Nazi armies penetrated Poland, France, joined spectacularly by Britain, sent an ultimatum to Hitler: Get out of Poland or a state of war will exist between Germany and Franco-Britannia. At this point, Hitler did not know what to do anymore.

Barring a miracle, Hitler had started, and lost, the Second World War.

Is it what Putin wants by staging false flag incidents in Ukraine?

A reminder: California has around the world’s eight GDP, if that state of the USA is viewed as a nation. That’s about the size of Russian GDP (!). France and Britain, together, have about two and a half time the Russian GDP. Russia makes weapons, and fossil fuels. Everything else, it has to buy outside.

In one of the Indiana Jones movie, a professional killer makes a demonstration of his prowess with swords, in a preliminary to his dispatch of the archeologist hero. Indiana Jones stops the frightening display, by just shooting the swordman dead.

As it turned out, Harrison Ford had the runs, and he suggested to Spielberg that the scene been cut short:

“We were shooting in Tunisia, and the script had a scene in which I fight a swordsman, an expert swordsman, it was meant to be the ultimate duel between sword and whip. And I was suffering from dysentery, really, found it inconvenient to be out of my trailer for more than 10 minutes at a time… I proposed to Steven that we just shoot the son a bitch… So he drew his sword, the poor guy was a wonderful British stuntman who had practiced his sword skills for months in order to do this job, and was quite surprised by the idea that we would dispatch him in 5 minutes. But he flourished his sword, I pulled out my gun and shot him, and then we went back to England…”

Putin should meditate this. Instead of hoping that his distracting violence will put him on top of the world. Putin’s empire may be very large, but it’s not any more active than California, and it has no Silicon Valley. Yielding is better than sinking.

If only the French ran America

 In Our wildest fantasy: if only the French ran America, The Economist embarked on a flight of fancy: that the French are more into affairs than Americans. On sheer statistics, it’s the other way around. All right, that’s a rather innocuous myth.

Some myths, though, are much less innocuous. A vicious delusion is that the USA had nothing to do with this:

A related, and even less innocuous myth, of the American Plutocratic Circus, is that the French are cowards. The myth of French cowardice is continually rehashed in the financial press, for example the Wall Street Journal. The same formulas are always used, with the same inventions, and the same words. So it was only natural that an ill intentioned American reader would seize on the opening provided by The Economist, to rehash a cliché well-known in the USA.

mandinka1 pontificated accordingly that: “If the French ran the US military all of their soldiers would have tanned arm pits and their weapons could be bough [sic]cheaply with a sign “never fired dropped only once””

The expression “never fired dropped only once” is commonly used in the USA about French weapons. It’s supposed to depict the cowardice of French soldiers running away from battle.

This is of course not just insulting, but as erroneous as it gets: France, since even before the people of Orleans and the Franks routed the Huns (in June 451 CE; Orleans’ original name was Aurelianum), has, by far, the world’s most extensive military history. The longevity of a country is only as good as its military.

The essence of France is not wine and cheese: it’s weapons and the inclination to use them when necessary. Hitler was one of those necessities.

I had in mind this picture from September 1, 1939, the day when the Nazis attacked.

September 1, 1939, The Day The Plutocrats Attacked the World

The Nazis were allied and supported by Stalin’s USSR, imperial Japan, fascist Italy, countless plutocrats and corporations of the USA, plus, soon enough, the Congress of the USA.

I replied this to mandika1:

If the French ran the US military, the USA would have declared war to Hitler on September 3, 1939, instead of collaborating with the Nazi dictator in 1939.

The war against the Nazi dictator would have been wrapped up in 1940.

Instead, it is because of his alliance with the USSR (formally) and the USA (de facto), that Adolf Hitler could get lucky against the French military in June 1940.

Hitler had no oil: he got it from Texas (and the Caucasus). IBM, managed from New York gave him the machines he needed to get organized. Ford and GM provided with transportation. Standard Oil and others with synthetic rubber (necessary for any machine).

When Hitler ran out of lead tetraethyl, in September 1939, his Air Force could not fly: the Americans supplied him with lead tetraethyl, so that Hitler could keep on killing Poles, Jews, French, Czechs, etc.

Meanwhile the USA’s Congress and his president made it a crime for an American citizen to set even a foot on a British, or French ship, among other sanctions.

Even then, the battle of France of May-June 1940 was the deadliest battle on the Western front in World War Two. The Nazis had to use suicidal charges at Sedan.

The Nazi losses, never made official, reached about 100,000 dead. By September 1940, the supremacy of the Nazi Air Force, having lost thousands of planes and many of its best pilots, had been shattered, and the invasion of Britain had to be cancelled.

And what were the USA doing during that time? Business with Hitler.

These are the years the USA chose to live in infamy, thanks for reminding us of that.
